I sarcastically mentioned to hubby, that we needed to turn our lights off today between 8:30 and 9:30. He thought for a second, then responded:
"There are going to be a lot of babies born in nine months!"
Earth hour, promoting the expansion of our population! Not quite what they wanted. Our lights will be blazing, and hubby will just have to imagine what candlelight would have done for our evening. HA!
Celebrate the best invention/discovery even in man's history, by turning those lights ON!

ReplyDeleteCandles and bonfires actually creates CO2, a point made by another blogger. More electricity is used turning large building lights off and back on. I am all for candlelight (and babies), but not to validate these hypocrites who mostly do not care the rest of the year. I did my laundry, ran my dishwasher and packed for an air trip to California.
