That's my backyard, today. When I went to sleep last night, the snow was gone, all I could see was brown grass. I woke up to that picture, in April, I'm not making this up!
This is Alberta, wait 5 minutes, the weather will change!
I was shocked to wake up this morning to the snow. But I shouldn't have been. A couple of years back I was passing through Red Deer (stopping for gas like all good people passing between Edmonton & Calgary) when it started snowing on the August long weekend!!!! That's right... snow plows on our highways, in Alberta, in summer... I'm not making this up.

ReplyDeleteOh, I should mention that in all my years, I have never seen snow so good for snowballs. All you had to do was pick it up, and presto, a snowball!
ReplyDeleteWell, You can't beat my Saturday in Thunder Bay. The weather was beautiful. I went out and bought my new lawn mower.
ReplyDeleteSunday woke up to snow. Maybe I can get a snow blower attachment for it.
