Prime Minister Harper's CBC Interview

The visit yesterday went really well, and I think Prime Minister Harper and President Obama had an excellent time. This new level of co-operation should be very helpful for future meetings. If you didn't catch the CBC interview with the Prime Minister, here it is, well worth watching.

What a class act! No revealing of secrets, not like whiny Iffy, who couldn't wait to run to the media with all the details of his talk. What an embarrassment, but he's a Liberal so he doesn't even realize how childish, and "me too" he looked.

The media will also have to cover all the meetings that President Obama and PM Harper will attend, where Iffy will not be left back at home crying to our media.

Let's see if the MSM even bothers to cover PM Harper's trip to New York on Monday to meet with the UN chief and business leaders.

On the heels of meetings with US President Prime Minister Stephen Harper travels to New York City Monday where he will hold private meetings with the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon to discuss "global security issues."

A spokesman for Harper told reporters in a background briefing, the meeting follows on Harper's discussions with Obama. "It is certainly related to that," the aide said.

But he would not specify the topics of discussion, except to say Afghanistan is part of the security agenda.

Later that day, Harper will also hold round table discussions with American business leaders.

Harper will not address any questions from Canadian reporters while there, however.

Poor Tonda, she can't follow the PM around and ask questions that are likely to embarrass Canada. Interesting that American business leaders want to listen to our Prime Minister, hopefully they will be persuaded to invest in Canada.
