The question is, why fund countries that don't need it or hate your guts? Another question is why keep on funding the useless UN? Here is a rant worth listening to:
Will our next budget be a Conservative budget? If the US cuts international funding is it justified? Canada shifted international aid and lost it's seat on the security council. What happens to Egypt or Haiti if the US withdraws it's funding? Do those countries grow up, and take responsibility for their own people? When you are broke, you can't keep on spending, every individual understands that, why don't governments?

You're absolutely correct SQ. 'We' did fight in Viet Nam. Aside from a handful of Canadian military observers (just like we had military observers recently in Iraq), hundreds, if not thousands of Canadians served in Viet Nam. Of course they weren't officially under the Canadian flag, but were volunteers. Many of them natives from Ontario and Quebec and proved themselves as excellent marksmen.
Ann Coulter only erred when she said she thought that Canada had 'sent' troops to Viet Nam. She was only half wrong, but nice attempt SQ, your drive-by smears only reinforce you as a pathetic pipsqueak with nothing to offer except ad hominem and pissy whining.
Move the goal posts some more, Eskimo! hahahahah
OT, yesterday there was a serious explosion in Edson Alberta, 12 workers were injured, some very seriously. I ask all to pray for their recovery, 2 were from NL. Especially my g/daughters best friend, a 24 yr old man, married, 2 young boys and his wife is expecting their daughter next sunday. 3rd degree burns to face and arms. Thanks.
