A Fox in the Hen House!

CBC is hyperventilating because they might get some competition. The hens are all running around unable to lay any eggs because they are panicked that a fox might grab their eggs (viewers). Why the panic? If you only have 700 viewers, and around 2% of the market, no one cares what happens to you. Plus, they are taxpayer funded so even if no one is watching them, they will still exist.

I think CTV should be the most worried. They need viewers so they can get advertisers and make a profit. They are at risk of having 30% of their viewers leaving the station.

What amazes me is that some lefties are so scared they are already calling for a ban. The station isn't even approved yet, but they are already demonizing it. Typical lefties, only their opinions are allowed to exist.

Funny how no lefties protested Al Jazzera being allowed in Canada, but a semi-conservative station can't be allowed to exist. Are lefties just stupid, or do they not even see their own hypocrisy.

Quebecor planning 24-hour right-leaning network

The title says it all, they just have to alert everyone that it is a "right-leaning" network. Does anyone ever call CBC or CTV "left-leaning"? HA! Thought not.

Quebec billionaire Pierre Karl Péladeau is attempting a major shakeup of television news in Canada, with plans to launch a 24-hour cable channel modelled on the right-leaning U.S. network Fox News.

It is a shot aimed directly at CBC and CTV, which for years have dominated the all-news format in English Canada. For months, Mr. Péladeau's Montreal-based media empire, Quebecor Inc., has been putting together plans for a channel that will tap the same conservative sentiment that has made Fox News a major contender for ratings in the U.S.

It appears that CBC and CTV don't like competition. But really when CTV admits that it's all about gossip, what do you expect?

Leftard Disgraces Canada On FOX News!

Twice in one day, Susan Cole goes on FOX News and disgraces Canada. That means over 40 million Americans now know how stupid she is, and they think ALL Canadians are just like her.

Bill O'Reilly totally makes her look like a fool, but I bet she is such a leftard that she thinks she did a good job.



Someone should ask her if she was okay with the Jewish Hate Week that the UofO just had. A Houle and Cole make a good pair, both think only lefties should have free speech in Canada.

I am getting sick and tired of minorities yelling at us taxpayers about how hard done by they are and then finding out that we have been scammed. How about we de-fund the University of Ottawa, and make these radical students pay their own way. Ann was right, she should start wearing a burka, that would make the lefties crazy. You can not in Canada attack the Muslim faith, no matter how many honour killings occur in the name of their faith.

I wonder if FOX picked the most rabid lefty they could find to show Americans what might happen to their country in a few years under Obama.

Code Of Silence!

So, PM Harper is at it again is he? Imposing that "code of silence" on his MP's, shutting them up..... well that's proof positive that he is a "dictator", just like the Liberals have been telling us all along! How could I have been so blind?

How can we help people rather than throw them in jail?" Mr. Rebagliati was jubilant in his post-skateboard moment, and either forgot about his party's edict that he not speak to the news media, or chose to ignore it.

Yikes! Did all that second hand pot go to his head and stay there? Seriously, this is the guy the Liberals are going to run against Stockwell Day? Are the Liberals that desperate?

Funny how it's a "code of silence" when it's Iggy clamping down on his candidates, if it had been PM Harper, we would still being hearing about the "dictator", blah, blah, blah!

Iggy imposes order, PM Harper shuts his candidates up. Do you see the difference? I see the difference. Guess the media doesn't even see their bias anymore.

Are they all using the same web designer? Does CTV have to use all that RED??? They all use the same articles, you might as well just pick one, because they offer nothing different. One talking head is the same as the other, one journalist has the exact same views as the other. That is why they are dying, oh, except for CBC which is too precious to Canadians (1 BILLION a year precious) and can't be allowed to die. We might as well just watch CBC as we are paying for it anyways, and let Global and CTV die from lack of viewership. Oh well, what do I care, I only watch Fox News these days, much more informative.

Freedom Took Washington

Some reports said that they closed down Washington with their protest. Reports are saying anywhere from 100,000 to 2 million people showed up yesterday. Even if it was only 100,000, that is a huge deal. It slaps Obama's leadership right in the butt.

Funny how many of the news outlets are not saying much about the biggest conservative protest ever on the Hill. Maybe it's because the MSM closes down during the weekend and doesn't have the staff to actually cover events. That's the power of blogs. One guy and his kid can give a better picture of what today was like than 100 reporters.

Washington D.C. Tea Party Express a HUGE Success!

Huge success? You sure wouldn't know it from the other media outlets. I thought America was different from Canada, I thought their media was less biased than our taxpayer funded CBC and our out to lunch CTV. Sadly it seems not to be true. That's why the people came out in massive numbers to protest in Washington. The media can try to hide the fact by refusing to cover the event, but a grassroots movement will only grow because the media refuses to carry the message. When Pelosi calls average Americans "nazis" and "astroturfers", she just makes them mad. Yet the lefties defend her and make Palin the bad girl.

The media can't adjust to the fact that the internet is immediate, with facebook and youtube, they can not distort the facts anymore. They look like idiots saying that thousands attended, when anyone watching online could see that it was more like 100,000 to 200,000 people.

Freedom?



It's worth fighting for! Good on all the people who showed up on 9/12 to support freedom.

What Happened To America?

America understands freedom. That is why they elected Reagan when the country needed a strong leader. Even though this was from the 1980's, it contains some very pertinent facts that relate to today.



From Reagan we move on (HA) to Sarah Palin. Lefties can dish her all they want, but she is going to be very important in the next presidential election.



Watch how many females support her. We always hear that females do not support Conservatives. America must be different from Canada. You go ladies! Okay, we know McCain and Palin lost the election. So, what did Americans get? They got change!



They got an empty suit who uses 11 year old girls to try and make it seem like he is the good guy and all those health care protesters are the bad guys.



That's just sad. Very, very sad. Exploiting an eleven year old girl is just wrong.

So, are the American people buying this deception? Considering that the only TV station that is semi-right leaning is FOX news, they should be struggling. Funny how they are surging instead!

Last Thursday was a huge victory for FOX News. "The Factor" at 8:00 p.m. beat CNN by 380 percent, MSNBC by 247 percent and Headline News by 299 percent. Total "Factor" audience for 8 and 11 was 5.4 million folks, more viewers than the "CBS Evening News" averaged last month.

Beck, Smith, Greta, and "The Factor" all won their time slots easily. In fact, last Thursday, those programs beat all four competitors combined.

Oops, guess somebody is wrong, and it's not Fox. Will the lefties understand what is happening soon enough or will all those people end up on the unemployment line?

Fox News, Opt In? Or Opt Out?

So SDA broke the news that Shaw was removing Fox News from it's line up, and you would have to OPT IN to keep the channel.

From one of several emails I've received;

I write to draw your attention to a situation I just encountered with Shaw Direct (the satellite TV provider formerly known as Star Choice). Returning from a short business trip my daughter advised me that there was a "message" from Shaw and I could read it on the TV.

The message advised me that in response to complaints (unnumbered and unspecified) about some disparaging comments about Canada's military folks made by a Fox News show personality Shaw had decided that those persons subscribing to Fox News would have until May 18 to affirm their desire to continue their subscription to that Channel or else it
would be shut off.

Seeing as I am a customer, I fired off this comment to AskJim:

I have read that Shaw customers now have the choice to get rid of FoxNews and replace it with something else. I specifically got Star Choice so that I could get FoxNews, so I want to keep it!

But, seeing as you are offering your customers the chance to get rid of a news station and replace it with another channel, I would love to get rid of CBCNews network (390) as it offends me daily, and replace it with Movie Central 1 (621). If Movie Central 1 isn't available as a choice, please send me a list of those channels I can choose from.

I think this is an excellent idea. You are allowing us to actually choose the channels we get instead of forcing us into selected packages. I have counted and there are 17 other CBC channels I would like to get rid of and replace with channels I would like to actually watch, is this possible? Thank you

I got the standard email of acknowledgment back a few minutes later. I checked for a response in the morning, nothing, but when I got home I had received two email.

Shaw Direct will not be removing Fox News from its lineup. We are enabling Shaw Direct customers the freedom to make the choice if they would like to receive it. There have been recent inappropriate and disrespectful comments on the channel regarding the Canadian Military’s efforts in Afghanistan, comments that were found to be offensive to our customers. Because of this, many Digital Favourites and FYI subscribers have expressed concern over not having an option to remove FOX News from their line-up. We are moving the channel to an opt-in service starting May 19. If you would like to continue receiving FOX News, we can add it back on to your account at no cost. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We simply took into consideration the feedback of our customers, and created a way to accommodate everyone regarding this matter.

We are not offering for this channel to be swapped at this stage.

I guess they decided to ignore the fact that I wanted to drop 17 CBC channels. Too bad, I really had my hopes up there! HA!!

If they turn my Fox News channel off even for one hour, I will be switching services.

A Beacon Of Hope

In this world where easy sex, and child porn is prevalent, where swingers clubs are just fine, and drugs are killing our children... So I thank Fox News, who broadcast the whole Mass from Yankee Stadium, it is the closest thing to being there.

Yesterday, CTV news had 45 seconds on his visit and over 5 minutes from someone who had been abused, not exactly balanced. Today they at least showed his visit to ground zero.

In this world of strife, disasters and hate between groups of people, a beacon of light shines. Pope Benedict.

My husband is Presbyterian but he enjoys going to Mass, he likes the pageantry, the sense of belonging, and most important the clear rules that Catholics follow. Lately we have seen the United Church become a religion of nothing, the Anglicans are splitting up over various issues, and all religions are under pressure from the "progressives" to lighten up on their morals.

These "progressives" will be satisfied with nothing less than the destruction of religion, as it is a threat to their agenda. Socialism is not about helping all people, it's about helping yourself, making yourself elite, so you can rule over the "little" people and tell them how hard you are working on their behalf. It's a sick lie.

Catholics like Paul Martin put politics ahead of their religion, they sell out to the greater god, money and power. Thank goodness, we have one beacon in this world, who teaches, love not power, sharing not greed, and hope not hate. Will the "progressives" listen, or are their hearts hardened to the message of moral values?
