Alberta, Vote Smart.

Alberta is gripped by a true ABC campaigne, not the fake one that Danny Williams tried to start. It's really exciting times here in Alberta. Spring cleaning is under way.

I know that we are only in week 2 of the campaigne, and anything can happen before we go to the polls, but it is looking good for the Wildrose.

I have noticed a funny lack of signs this election. I drive through Rachel Notley's area everyday on the way to work, and all I see are her signs. Not one single Liberal, PC or Wildrose sign to be seen. Something fishy going on?

I think what is happening is that PC and Wildrose supporters are not taking signs this election, either because they are still undecided or because they do not want their neighbours to know how they are voting.

This leads me to believe that many former PC voters and even Liberals are now going to vote Wildrose. Silence on the sign front makes it harder to tell who will win the riding, so it is making this election fun.

I know all the polls coming out are favourable to the Wildrose, and I hope that continues. Remember when the media would show polls showing the federal Conservatives winning, and then the next poll would show people backing off? Is that what is going on now in Alberta? Are the media hoping that we see the Wildrose winning, maybe a majority, and hoping that it will scare voters back to the PC's?

Funny media, Albertans don't scare easily. We are not like Ontario voters who re-elected McGuinty for a third time, FOR NO GOOD REASON. None. Give me one positive reason why Ontario voted for McGuinty after he turned the province into a "have not" province for the first time in Ontario's history. Just one valid, economic reason, just one.

Why are the media suddenly backing the PC's? They never have before, and I bet if it looked like the Liberals would win the election they would be jumping all over themselves with positive day and night Liberal party coverage. Media, digging themselves into early retirement.

Someone at work commented to me today that they would vote for the candidate that is in second place in his riding, no matter which party, as long as it wasn't the PC's. A true ABC campaigne is happening in Alberta, and the results might be startling.

Wildrose in majority territory

Two more polls have been released over the last few days, confirming that Wildrose holds a substantial lead over the Progressive Conservatives. Accordingly, Wildrose is now projected to win 44 seats and a slim majority government.

Duffy Kicks Fruitfly Suzuki's Butt!

I would love to see a verbal match between Duffy and Suzuki, Duffy would win hands down, but Suzuki refuses to debate anyone, ever.

He seems happier now that he doesn't have to hide the fact that he is a Conservative. Lefties are still in shock that they could have enjoyed watching him all those years, never suspecting that he was a Conservative. That is unbiased reporting, and it hit lefties smack in the face when they realized that Senator Duffy wasn't actually one of them. Heck, I'm a Conservative and I never suspected he was a Conservative. 


It looks like the Conservative Senators are going to discover how badly foreign interests have corrupted our democracy through the use of environmental groups. Revenue Canada had better sit up and take notice, because they are now in the spotlight. 


I know of one tiny little charity that lost it's charitable status because of a minor accounting error, it just about caused them to shut down the real charitable work they were doing. So why doesn't Revenue Canada go after these environmental groups who are clearly lobbyists? Is Revenue Canada as Liberal as Elections Canada? Who holds both of them to account? No one as far as I can figure.


The Senate is showing us that they are relevant and can tackle tough issues. Good for them. My biggest disappointment with the Senate is that a failed Liberal leader from Alberta, who hates the oil sands can not be booted out of the Senate by Albertans. He is an arrogant Liberal who thinks that Albertans opinions don't matter, and he could care less what you want. I know, I've emailed him and just about got sick reading his response to my concerns, try it for yourself. Ask him why an Albertan doesn't support the oil sands, see what response you get.

The Fight For Cancer.

When PM Harper appointed Patrick Brazeau to the Senate, I thought it was a brilliant move, I still do. He is a very personable, young and likable Senator. The fact that he is First Nations and very handsome are two more points in his favour. He is doing his people proud, not like some of the chiefs we hear about.

I was sorry to hear that his Mom passed away from cancer. I hope it adds a little more power to his punch against Mama's boy Trudeau. The "shiny pony" should be worried, his reach might be longer and his experience in boxing might be greater, but Brazeau is a street fighter, he has not had the privileged upbringing that drama teacher Trudeau has been blessed with.

I know it is all for a cancer, but I would donate $100 to the cause to see Trudeau on the canvas. I think it might happen. We can watch it all on Sun News on March 31st.



Should Trudeau be scared, probably not, because it is a fight for cancer, not a "real" match. I hear that the loser will have to cut their hair.

Look at this picture of Justin, he already looks bad, look at that big honker! If he has to cut his girly locks off, that nose will really stand out, especially if it's broken!

Google "Brazeau" and the Huffington Post come up with nothing but stories about Justin! "Washboard worthy", "Luscious Locks"??? Oh, gag me!

Brazeau has my vote, knock Trudeau back into the last century. Besides, Brazeau served in the military while Trudeau was prancing around on stage. Any self respecting woman knows who the real man is in this fight. Watch it on Sun News, a smart move on their part, because lots of Conservatives want to see Trudeau go down, and with him, his arrogant pretty boy liberal attitude.

A Leg, Is A Leg, Is NOT A Leg!

No adults are currently operating the governments or the opposition in our country, and I mean federally, provincially, and municipally. All levels of government are currently dysfunctional.

The most dysfunctional characters in this all, are the media. They were SO sure last election that they could influence the results, that Elections Canada should be investigating them for voter fraud. EC is too busy right now leaking details of their investigations into Conservatives to be bothered with anything else. Robocalls pale beside the anti-Conservative venom that our media spewed before, during and after the election.

The left based media just might have been responsible for getting PM Harper his majority, and decimating the Liberals. They were the prime movers of voters in Quebec by glorifying Jack Layton, hoping that the Liberals would take Ontario and the NDP would take Quebec, allowing them to form a coalition to govern Canada.

It didn't work, so now, in their tiny little Liberal lefty brains, they think continuing to try for the next fake-gate is going to work this time, because the only ones they are listening to are those that think just like them. Alinsky rules. Notice how fast any mention of the Liberals being in the wrong for personally attacking Toews disappeared, do we even know what the guy looked like? Media thinks they matter. If you shut them off and watch the cooking channel, you don't even know what is going on politically. It's refreshing.

Speaking of refreshing, I think this is hilarious, much preferable to the low level that many media people are stooping to these days in regards to politics, and lately I must include the National Post.

Angelina Jolie's right leg is as relevant as those robocalls. The left are vacant headed people who see no more point to their lives, then the worship of some women's leg.

 

Liberal Anne McLellan LOVES Red Ali!

If you have doubted what I have been saying about Red Ali being a Liberal, this video will prove conclusively that I am right. Pay attention to how much ex-Deputy Prime Minister Anne McLellan loves Red Ali. Ever since I watched this video I have been thinking about what she said, and it only confirms that Red Ali was elected by Liberals. (Thank you Stephen for this great video!)

Her last comment about being happy that Red Ali is a female? Well Danielle Smith is a female too! I guess a Liberal female trumps a Conservative female in her eyes. Will she say the same thing if Danielle is elected?

What strikes me as interesting is that Red Ali has been making provincial friends with all the Liberals. Problem is that Dalton, Charest, and Clark are all stuck on stupid, and it appears that Red Ali wants to join their parade. She is obviously only listening to Liberals like Landslide Anne McLellan, a loser:

After toughing out three narrow campaign victories since first coming to power in 1993, Deputy Prime Minister Anne McLellan lost Monday night to her Conservative opponent in Edmonton Centre, Laurie Hawn.

Anne never understood Alberta, she still doesn't. In the clip she stated that only about 25% of Albertans would support Wildrose, and the polls back her up. Boy does she live in la la land. Most importantly, she didn't even support her own Liberal party, all she could do was praise Red Ali. Your slip is showing Anne!

If that clip doesn't convince you that Alison Redford is a Liberal plant, nothing ever will. Which makes it all the more important to get out and support the Wildrose party.

You have to know that the Liberals are going to vote for her, she gave the teachers 100 MILLION dollars, and the the NDP voters are going to like her support of the teachers union, so she will get their votes too.

The Liberal/NDP supporters got her into power, it is up to us Conservatives to get her out of power. Make no mistake, she is Alberta's Dalton McGuinty. She will take a have province and make it a have not province because of her leftist leanings.

She has done nothing to support our oil sands! Nothing. She has been too busy visiting other provinces to get them to agree to another National Energy Program, that will destroy our economy. She has to go, she is dangerous to our economy and our livelihoods. 

Join Wildrose, start the engine that will drive them to power. We have to, it is imperative that we do so, because Red Ali will destroy everything we have worked so hard to build. If we do not rid ourselves of this Liberal Premier, we will be worse off than the US under Obama.

Seriously, Red Ali has to go, she is not a Conservative, and she is not supportive of the engine of Canada, the oil sands. Boot her, and all of her supposedly Conservative cronies.

A Failure To Stand Up For Alberta, OR Our #$%#$ Lefty Premier

Our new lefty premier just doesn't get Albertans. Is she really from Alberta? Does she not understand what makes Alberta prosperous? Guess not.

CALGARY - Alberta Premier Alison Redford said she's not going to lobby Washington decision-makers to give a stamp of approval to the controversial Keystone XL pipeline......

"It's not my intention and never has been my intention to go and specifically lobby decision-makers in the process because that's not how the process works," said Redford. "I do believe that this is a process that Americans have to go through, to decide what they want to come to be.
"We are going to very clearly tell the story that this matters to Alberta and we think that we can speak to our experience with respect to regulations and pipelines."

Liberal lefty spewing on, and on about nothing, and the problem is that she is serious. Don't make waves by actually PROMOTING Alberta. A "process"?  How polite, how destructive to Alberta's oil industry. "Tell the story"? Is she serious? Lady, it's not a "story", it is the livelihood of thousands of Canadians, not just Albertans. We have the oil, the US wants oil and have the capacity to process it, why wouldn't you go there and promote our ethical oil over the middle east blood oil? What a wash out you are already. Bring back Eddy, at least he was smart enough to know he needed advisers to help him, Alison thinks she is smart enough to do everything on her own, or by listening to US advisers. Typical liberal thinking.

The new premier has taken intense criticism from Wildrose Party leader Danielle Smith, who insists Redford should have travelled to Washington for the final keystone hearing on Oct 7.
Redford was sworn in as premier on Oct. 7, and said Smith is merely an “armchair quarterback.”
“I think it’s easy to sit back and say ‘you should have done this you should have done that.’ What I know is that before I made this sort of decision I took advice from people who are in leadership roles in Washington,” said Redford.
“I’m very confident in the advice that I’ve received with respect to that and I believe that this is exactly the right time to go.”

 Advise from Americans? Seriously? Is she that clueless? Sigh....she obviously is.

During four days of travelling starting in Washington Nov. 14, Redford will also stop over in New York Wednesday to speak about Alberta’s viable investment markets, while addressing environmental stewardship in Toronto Wednesday, wrapping up the week meeting with Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa Thursday.
“Part of what we need to be able to do when we’re in Toronto and in Ottawa is to be abel to set a tone for the fact that as a government we intend to do business differently with respect to federal/provincial relations,” she said.

 We intend to do business differently? How? Hey, Alison, Toronto is not the center of the universe, are you going to pander to it? Ottawa just wants our money, how are you going to ensure that we get to keep more of ours? Big talk, no actual plan, or is she keeping it secret from Albertans?

There is nothing Conservative about our new premier-elect, she is a lefty from head to toe. Thanks to the PC's stupid membership rules, the Liberals/NDP/Greens voted in a useless Liberal premier. Last election of a leader, I voted. This time I couldn't care less, because I will not be voting PC in the next election, I will be voting Wildrose. I just hope that Alison doesn't permentally damage our relationship with the federal government and the US in the meantime. She thinks she's smarter than Ed, but I suspect that she is just another arrogant Liberal pretending to be a Conservative. She is in for a huge shock, think Kim Campbell, next election!

Alison, go to the US, shout out to anyone who will listen, that Alberta is open for business. Tell them that the pipeline will provide American jobs. Oh, why do I bother, she's tone deaf to Conservatives.

Blame Alberta!

Will the Liberals never learn? Are they so egotistical that they think people still listen to their lies? I understand that Ontario is having an election, but what does Alberta have to do with their election?

Well, it seems that Dalton wants to do what Liberals always do, blame Alberta. Trudeau gave us the finger, and instituted the transfer of oil wealth from Alberta to the east, using the National Energy Program. It killed our oil industry overnight, people committed suicide, walked away from their homes and swore to never vote Liberal ever again. The mention of Trudeau leaves a sickening smell in the noses of people in Alberta. 

So, what does Dalton do? He proclaims, without any evidence at all, that the east has been supporting the oil industry for "decades". 

Funny, it now appears that the west is supporting the rest of the country, but Dalton is trying to use that old Liberal trick of divide and lie. Why do Liberals hate the west? What have we ever done to them but shovel huge amounts of money towards the east?

Even though Ontario is now a "have not" province, they deny it, but still take the wests money. Ontario has a provincial debt of over 200 Billion dollars, Quebec over 500 Billion, and Alberta zero, yet somehow it is Alberta's fault that Ontario is on the rocks? Somehow Alberta is to blame for Dalton's bad management of Ontario?

Well good luck with that tactic Dalton, Ontario is going to hand you your pink slip no matter how hard you slam Alberta. We here in Alberta are cheering on our fellow Conservatives in Ontario. We know it is time to clean out the barn, slop the pigs, and shout "heehaw" because the Liberal brand is dead.

Good luck in trying to divide our country Dalton, you are truly an unfortunate mistake of nature.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Ontario. You could have gone the way of Quebec, and voted for the NDP. You could have continued to vote for the Liberal party, like PEI and Newfoundland, but you came out in record numbers to support Prime Minister Harper and the Conservatives. Thank you. You saved our country.

You have become a "have not" province under the rule of McGuinty, yet you refuse to give up. You could have taken the easy route and voted NDP for all the "goodies" they offered, you refused. You showed all of Canada that the pioneer spirit still beats strong in your hearts. You showed Canada that you might be a "have not" province right now, but you are not willing to continue down that path.

I want you to know that Alberta has your back. Finally, provinces are not being divided for political reasons. You have supported Canada for most of our existence with equalization payments, and now that you need them, look west, we are with you. Together the east and the west can make Canada spectacular! Our independent spirits are alive and we are now joined instead of alienated.

We are not different, like the politicians and media want us to believe. You saw through the hype and joined with us to go forward instead of back. Without you, we would have had PM Layton. Thank you Ontario. God has blessed Canada.

Around The Water Cooler Part II

Liberals are still in shock, they are talking about the "scary, hidden" agenda of the Conservatives. "Just watch", they say. PM Harper is going to unleash the "dark side" of the Conservatives, and we are all doomed. Seriously, these are educated people, some of them lawyers (not surprised there), and this is what I heard from them. Do they understand how desperate they sound?

I also heard, a swear word out here in Alberta....Trudeau! The Liberals are already talking about Trudeau as their saviour. Do they not get it? They refuse to blame their own party for their failure and they are still looking for that leader that will bring them back to glory, and the public trough. I tried to tell them that they needed to rebuild from the ground up, and they just looked at me with blank expressions. They only talk to themselves, that is why they lost this election. The media called PM Harper the one who was in a bubble, but the truth is that the media and Liberals are the ones who do not understand what Canadians want. Their bubble burst, and we can see pieces trying to crawl back together, but no magic ward/leader is going to put humpy lumpy Liberals back again.

The NDP supporters are talking about being the "government in waiting". No mention of the kindergarten squad that is causing them problems already. They have no problem with Layton hiding his newly elected MP's in some bunker for the next four years, but Harper is too bossy and won't talk to the media? HA!

The Conservatives are talking about lower taxes, smaller government and what PM Harper can accomplish now that he has a majority.  They are positive, happy with the election results and wanting Parliament back as soon as possible. The NDP do not want Parliament to reconvene until 4 years from now.

Congratulations to the Conservative party, and especially PM Harper for a well run election campaign. Congrats to my MP, James Rajotte, I am hoping that he will be appointed as a Minister, he deserves it. He gets votes from all parties, and won his riding with over 60% support. Please get back to work and get rid of the long gun registry and make the CWB voluntary.

Why Would You Vote Liberal?

As families meet around the table this Easter, I hope they talk about the two clear choices they have before them, a majority Conservative government or a coalition. This is not a vote for your favorite party type election, this is an election about Canada. This is an election about your kids, and grandchildren, it's about leaving them a country that is a leader in the world, not a piker. It's about rewarding those who work hard for the betterment of our country, and not supporting the separatist Bloc.

Canadians have been guided gently through an economic crisis that the US is still feeling. Our Prime Minister has been fighting not only the opposition but also the biased media everyday, every minute, since he has been elected. He has shown class and patience with an opposition that feels it is their duty to oppose everything his government proposes. He has given everything for this country, without asking for anything back. He has governed in fairness to all Canadians. He is now asking Canadians to give him acknowledgment for a job well done by giving him a majority. He has been open and candid about his hopes for a chance to govern for 4 quiet years, so he can continue to move Canada into the spotlight as one of the best countries in the world.

Are Canadians so petty that they will not vote Conservative because they fear a "hidden agenda" but think a coalition including the Bloc is okay? Are Canadians, supposedly one of the happiest nations in the world, so deceived by the biased media that they actually believe the slop they are selling?

What has PM Harper ever done to you, except govern this country better than anyone of us could hope to do? I am sickened by the "Harper Haters" who bash him constantly for petty little things like not showing everyone on TV that he actually ate the "wafer" at a funeral Mass. Sad little people with tiny little minds.

Our Prime Minister has made this country proud, he has taken a strong stance for Israel (loosing a seat at the security council because of his support for Israel), he has supported our military like no PM in recent history, and he has not bowed down to the separatists. He is asking for one small thing, a majority, so he can govern without fear of another election in 6 months.

As Canadians, proud of our country, solid hardworking citizens wanting the best for our children, we can not fail him now!

I am talking to Atlantic Canadians right now. You send your young people to the west because there are jobs here. That is how I met my husband, he came from PEI to Alberta over 25 years ago, and he is still here. Why would you vote Liberal?

Many people from Newfoundland come to work here and send their pay cheques home, improving the lives of all people living in Newfoundland. Why would you vote Liberal?

I ask you to consider what your lives would be like if the Liberals or NDP imposed a cap and trade on the oil industry. Alberta would be closed down once again, NEP II. Your jobs would disappear, and no more pay cheques would be arriving in Newfoundland or PEI. Think carefully about how you vote.

Ontario voters need to understand that if the oil industry is over regulated, they will move their operations to Venezuela and all those jobs manufacturing tiny little bearings or huge tires for the oil sands will dry up. Think carefully about how you vote.

Albertans are some of the staunchest supporters of Canada. Don't let us down!

Think carefully before you vote, Canada is too important to let petty, partisan politics destroy this country.

Quebec Debate...Yawn. Give Us A Western Debate!

Duceppe was declared the winner of the Quebec debate because he promised Quebec more goodies. If he has to form a coalition with the Liberals and NDP to get them, he doesn't care. Separation is his song, but it is getting really old, tired and out of date. We all know that Quebec is special because of their culture and language. It is time for Quebec to stop being on the outside, with no chance of power and come back to Canada. The only party that can form a majority are the Conservatives. If Quebec continues to vote Bloc, and the Conservatives form a majority without Quebec, they will be out of luck. The Bloc will have no power.

If the coalition actually does take power, all voters west of Ontario will have little to no representation in the takeover government. This could have a devastating impact on the economic engine of Canada. All opposition parties want cap and trade. If you think that the NEP was economically destroying in Alberta, cap and trade would be ten times worse. Quebec and Ontario would suck Alberta and Saskatchewan dry, causing a huge divide in this country.

I want a debate in western Canada, on western issues. For example, the Canadian Wheat Board does not allow western wheat farmers to sell their wheat to anyone but them. The Conservatives are trying to give western farmers choice, but the opposition parties refuse to let our farmers go. I want the debate to ask how the opposition parties think that cap and trade would benefit western Canadians. The opposition wants to stop any pipeline to BC to ship our oil to China and India. How does that benefit western Canadians? Oil is a provincial responsibility, what gives them the right to stick their noses into our business? It's time for all political parties to explain to western Canadians, why they suck money out of our provinces to give to Quebec and now Ontario, because those provinces refuse to elect governments that are fiscally responsible.

Demand a western Canadian debate, if Quebec gets one to yap about their specific issues, then western Canada should get one too. We are so far away from Ottawa, that our issues are very different from those of central Canada. Iggy has no plans to visit Alberta this election, what does that tell you? The Liberals have written off the economic engine of the country because they see no votes here. That is how shallow the Liberals have become. The Liberals, a party that doesn't know who they are, what they stand for, and who are obviously only interested in those that can help them gain power.

If the coalition gets in, the west will want out.

Alberta Quiet Now, Soon To Erupt!

Alberta, the "bad boy" for voting Conservative is being battered from all sides because we dare to be productive and create jobs, which in turn creates wealth. I am sick and tired of the NDP and Liberals using us as a whipping boy to incite the masses against our oil sands.

We have one lone NDP MP "environmental" lawyer in Alberta, she only got elected because Conservatives were ticked off with Jaffer. As I drive through that riding to get to work, I see lots of Duncan signs, but I drive through the university area so that is expected. Soon the university students go home and the properties with signs will sit empty. That means the real residents of the riding, not the university students will actually get to determine the results in the riding.

What bothers me about Duncan is that she won because of all the Liberals voting for her instead of their own party. It was a mini Liberal/NDP coalition. That really tells you exactly how "principled" those Liberals are, if they would abandon their own candidate and vote NDP. It also shows you how FAR left the Liberals have drifted. Classical Liberals would be more at home with Conservatives.

Duncan released her report after the standing committee on environment and sustainable development failed to reach a consensus after a two-year study into the effects the oilsands industry has on water in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. During the two-year study, the MPs on the committee heard from 60 witnesses and toured the oilsands around Fort McMurray, Alta. In the end, no report on the committee's findings was issued to the government.

It would be safe to say that Duncan is the first Green candidate to be elected to Parliament. She hates the oil sands, wants to stop the development, and actually thinks Alberta is going to thank her for it. Vote her out. She already has a huge university pension, and if she is re-elected she will get a huge pension paid for by Canadian taxpayers.

Funny how those NDP candidates like Layton and his wife talk about supporting the "poor" and suck up over a million dollars a year in income from taxpayers. Duncan is no different. She wants to retire with two golden pensions that middle class Canadians could not even imagine.

The environmental effects also spill over into the neighbouring jurisdictions of Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.

The report says additional oilsands projects should not be approved until environmental assessments do a better job of outlining cumulative impacts.

It also recommends Environment Canada dispatch inspectors to Fort McMurray to keep on top of environmental law violations.

Such a monitoring system should be paid for by public and the oilsands industry, Duncan said.

The report released by Liberal members of the committee came to similar conclusions.

Linda Duncan has been working against all the hard working people who have come to Alberta in hopes of getting a good paying job in the oil industry. She has her law degree, those who toil daily in the oil sector do not. She wants to send more people to the unemployment lines, because it won't impact her in any way. It's easy to preach from a golden pension platform, looking down at the peons.

This election, both the NDP and Liberals have come out against the oil sands, even though Iggy stated he would not kill the golden goose.

“Under Stephen Harper, every single Quebecker is sending roughly $75 a year to subsidize dirty fossil fuel producers,” Mr. Layton said at Insertech Angus, a company that trains underemployed young people to rebuild computers from cast-off parts.

“The result of this subsidy is an increase in the greenhouse gases pumped out in Canada and a competitive disadvantage for businesses looking to build clean solutions and the new energy economy,” Mr. Layton said.

He fails to mention the 17 BILLION that Alberta sends to the rest of Canada, 8 BILLION going to Quebec alone. He also fails to mention that oil companies already pay into a research and development fund in Alberta. He came to Alberta and forgot to even mention the oil sands, then he goes to Quebec and slams our province. Hypocrite. Here is an even bigger hypocrite, who told Alberta he would never, never, never ever kill the golden goose and then turns around and proceeds to do just that:

Once again, Canada's most valuable resource and prime job-creator sounds like a temporary case of gas. Two days before, Ignatieff made Alberta's political irrelevance even more obvious when he released his energy policy.

There would be a tanker ban on the West Coast, so forget pipelines and oilsands exports to China -forget, in fact, the province's entire strategy for the future of the oilsands.

The Liberals also plan to institute a national cap-andtrade strategy that would surely suck billions out of Alberta.

To ensure that no coin is overlooked, they would immediately halt an investment-friendly tax break the Conservatives will allow to linger until 2015.

Can you say NEP II??? This is worse than Dion's carbon shaft, this is a clear indication that the NDP and Liberals, with Bloc support are planning to steal from the west to give to the east.

Alberta is quiet now, we have been listening to Layton, Iggy and Duncan closely. We have made our minds up, and will vote Conservative this election, but what the opposition doesn't understand and obviously doesn't care about is that Alberta is simmering. We are stoking the fires right now, waiting for the election results, but we are tired of all opposition parties making us the "bad boys" of Confederation, when we are the ones who are feeding them.

The sickening part is that the opposition think they can continue to stomp on us with their Birkenstock, while sipping their lattes, and calling us knuckle dragging (Fife CTV), rednecked, hillbillies, while taking our taxes from us to support all their socialist programs. Shades of Atlas Shrugged!

Be very careful what you vote for Canada. Our very existence as a country depends on it. Ignore the west if you dare. Join us if you want a strong vibrant country. We will not be stopped by eco-nuts like Duncan Donuts. It is still the wild west, where we believe in the individual, guns, private property and God.

Backed Into A Corner, In A Round Room!

The opposition have to force an election now. They have backed themselves into a corner, in a round room! They think they have the Conservatives on the run, but the Conservatives are sitting back and watching the opposition chase their tails around the "we will not support the budget" tree. The Conservatives will get butter while the opposition parties are going to be sucking on lemons.

The opposition started playing the budget game early. The Liberals were first out of the post saying they would not support it, trying to force the NDP into supporting it. Then the Bloc came out with ridiculous demands to get their support, it's called blackmail in other countries. Then the NDP, nipping at the Liberal heels, stated they wouldn't support it unless their demands were met. The opposition are so busy chasing each other around the "budget" tree, that they are stuck running around chasing their tails and have forgotten about what Canadians might want. Eventually their momentum is going to carry them into the wall, and we will have the opposition sitting stunned and dazed, wondering where they are and how they got there.

Meanwhile, the Conservatives go on governing, calmly, quietly and competently. That is what the voters see, not the opposition hamsters running in the wheel. Personally, I have lost all respect I had for Milliken, glad he is retiring, too bad he couldn't retire with class instead of making partisan rulings meant to hurt the Conservatives. What those rulings did was allow the opposition to play their partisan committee games, where they have the majority and can show all Canadians what a coalition government would look like. Not very impressive when all they want to do is smear the Conservative government.

Opposition should hold the government's feet to the fire, but that's not what they are doing. They are looking for some scandal (one every week) to bring this government down and the MSM is intent on helping them. They are looking like crybabies and fools. Keep it up, it's working in the Conservatives favour.

Forcing an election is the only way the opposition get out of that round room, even though they know when they open that door, they are stepping out into the air, and they have no parachutes to save them.

Biased? The CBC? NO!

Read the article, notice no mention is made of Senator Lavigne being a LIBERAL, until near the end, but they mention Conservatives as soon as they can, making it seem that it's Conservatives who are the corrupt ones.

Typical Liberal, entitled to his entitlements. The Liberals want to go to an election based on ethics? I say, go for it! As for CBC, do they get sponsorship type money from Liberals who can't just give to the Liberal party anymore? Is the CBC a bought and paid for hoe for the Liberals, by Liberals or do they do it for free? We don't know, the CBC refuses to release any information. Maybe we should start boycotting anyone who advertises on CBC.

How low can the Liberals go? Using a public petition to gain email addresses of kids and then using them for partisan issues, is pretty low. My son wasn't impressed, neither am I. Needless to say, my son will NOT be signing with marc. It's actually kind of creepy.

I have no problem with the actual issue of the petition. I have a problem with the Liberals using information gained from a petition by a third party. My advise, don't give your information to sites like Open Media. Just like you shouldn't post racy pictures on facebook that your employer might see. Common sense.

About Those Polls.

It makes me laugh that no matter how hard the lefty media shrills for the Liberals, they continue on a downward trend, both of them. No matter how many hands Ignatieff shakes or how many times he misses Parliament to travel Canada, the Canadian people are not buying it. I am sure that the Ekos and IPSOS surveys represent an accurate picture AT THIS POINT in time.

The ads have helped frame Ignatieff as just visiting, and in it for himself. Even my Liberal parents think that way. The threat of an election when Canadians don't want one is probably the main reason for the uptick in the Conservative numbers.

Working into Canadians consciousness is that sneaking suspicion that a coalition would happen after the next election if the Conservatives only win a minority again. People might not list that as the number one reason for supporting the Conservatives, but it is percolating just on the outer rim of people's minds.

The Bloc DEMANDING more money for Quebec, is so arrogant and distasteful to the ROC that PM Harper has to come out strongly stating that Quebec should not get more money than the 8.6 BILLION they already get from the ROC. If all cultures are equal according to our Charter of Rights, then Quebec is equal to Saskatchewan and Newfoundland, not better. Interesting thing from the surveys is that the Conservatives now poll higher than the Liberals in Quebec after saying NO to the arena. That should be a big hint to the Conservatives. Stand your ground and do not pander to Quebec, they will not respect you for it.

Also interesting is that women are giving the Conservatives the nod. I guess not all women are lefty feminists. Can we expect an election in the spring? I'm still not sure, as the polls could shift again. I don't really want one, but I'm ready to door knock when it becomes necessary. Edmonton NDP MP Linda Duncan is going down, no matter how many NDP university students she recruits!!

What a bunch of juvenile idiots. Free speech has it's limits. Those police should have been able to yap right back at the spittle producing leftists. Yet the media thought Ford telling them to get a job was over the top? Did they air any of this protest? Did they hear the protesters profanity?

I wonder if an elderly woman had hit one of those mouthy protesters, if she would have been arrested, because that's exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to shout back at those fools that they needed to quit whining and get a job. I wanted to wade right in there and yell right back at them. I suspect, I would have been arrested if I had done that.

Listen to them yelling "don't hit me, don't touch me"! When they don't get hit or touched, they get aggressive against the police, and the police just have to stand there and take it, that is not right. The police should be able to escort them all out into the street, where they are free to protest all they want.

What this shows is the ugly leftist politics of activism. Just like when they shut Ann Coulter down, it shows how intolerant the progressive lefties really are. They do not stand for freedom, they stand for bullying. They are doing such a great job that people are switching their votes from the Liberals and NDP to the Conservatives. So, keep yelling, keep looking like idiots, you are only hurting your cause.

How Thick Are They?

It's easy, reduce business taxes, increase jobs and investment income. Only NDP voters lack the intellect to understand that simple logic, oops, I mean only lefties like the Liberals, NDP and Bloc can't understand the concept of reducing taxes to encourage investment. It appears David Akins suffers from the same disease.

OTTAWA – Watch out Stephen Harper: Your political opponents might be on to something when it comes to corporate taxes.

A new poll, taken exclusively for QMI Agency, finds that four in 10 Canadians believe that not only should the government scrap a planned round of corporate tax cuts, the government should be hiking corporate income taxes.

When does 40% make up a majority? The opposition are quick to tell us that ONLY 38% voted for the Conservatives and therefore a majority of people didn't. Now it appears that 40% is a majority when it comes to corporate tax increases. Okay, let's increase taxes for all those corporations that have unions, make the unions pay the new taxes from their wages. Let's see how they squeal then.

Something else the MSM is failing to tell people. The tax reductions has already been passed with the help of the Liberals. Yes, you heard that right, the tax reductions are already law. Why are the Liberals bleating about it, when they voted for it? They are using the emotional angle. Big, bad, corporations are getting a tax break. Those CEO's are raking in the dough, and people are starving in the streets! People forget that corporations employ people. Let the unions create jobs. Give me an example of one union that has created jobs, ever. They take dues from the workers and use those dues to get politically involved, like their support of Palestine. They are not democratic, they FORCE their members to give them money, and the members have no say in how they spend it. Talk about dictators.

Liberals are showing how hypocritical they really are, they vote for corporate tax reductions and then reverse their position and are against them. Flip flop, flip flop, like a fish out of water.

Prepare For Liberal Heads To Explode

If Fantino wins on Monday. Travers is already pretty much conceding the race to the Conservatives.  Where he goes wrong is talking about a winter election. First he says that the Liberals are going to defeat the government:

What I get from the article is that Liberals are scared and don't know what to do about getting their support back, even with the MSM shrilling for them. The Conservatives won't rush into an election, why should they? The opposition is abysmal, Iggy is unelectable, and the Senate is ours. Besides that, people are not engaged with politics right now, they are more concerned about their jobs than any election. The good news is that, if there is a winter election, we can watch Sun TV! We won't have to wade through the lefty slop anymore to get to the real truth. How refreshing is that going to be?

They Support Our Troops....BUT!

Why would Canada not stand up in defense of Afghans, especially the women and young girls? Why would the opposition think it was acceptable to abandon those who need our help? The NDP, supposedly the party of the people, are the biggest hypocrites. Make love not war is still their motto. Unfortunately for the NDP, we have moved on from the sixties.  We understand that our troops can help oppressed people better than some lefties shouting give peace a chance.  Thank goodness the Liberals opened up the door for our troops to stay in a non-combat roll. They actually took a principled stand for what was best for Canada and Afghanistan. Clap, clap, I seriously applaud you! (No I am not being sarcastic!)

Canada can now hold it's head up at the NATO meeting. I will always support our troops without any "buts". They are sent into missions by our government, and they do a superior job, always. It's time for the lefty opposition to grow some balls and stop being fake pacifists. If Quebec doesn't want to support our troops, Alberta would be honoured to become the new home for the Van Doos! I suspect the Van Doos would have something to say about that, as they are proud Quebec Canadians, too bad their own province does not recognize their worth.

It is easy to sit at home in our peaceful Canada, and be passive, it is much harder to put your life on the line for your country. The Conservatives and the Liberals should call the NDP and the BLOC on their lack of support for our troops. They always say they support our troops, ...........BUT!
