Obama Fiddles While America Burns
The Republicans were talking deficit and debt and failed to connect with the voters, because the voters don't want to be told the negative, they wanted to be told how everything is going to be great.
Obama didn't even have a plan, he hasn't even passed a budget in 4 years, but on the most primeval level, people wanted to be acknowledged and held blameless for the situation they and America find themselves in. They wanted hugs, and Obama phones, not talk about "fiscal cliffs".
It proves that if you want to win, you must appeal to the most elemental instincts of people in the form of "emotions", and that is what most lefties do best. They make it all about emotions and feelings.
Protests are an effective method that only the left seems to use, with the exception of the Tea Party in the US, and they get called racists and rednecks by the media and lefties, for just daring to gather and state an opinion that the left doesn't like.
Mitt Romney was the better fiscal candidate, but Americans were looking for the "rock star". They got him, and even now are blaming the Republicans for the "fiscal cliff" they are heading off of, even though they were warned it was going to happen if Obama got reelected. Reminds me of Nero and Rome burning.
The left is all about dividing people into segments and catering to special interest groups, while the right is about family values and long term stability. Obama won big in the urban, highly populated areas, and lost big time in the rural ones. This mirrors what happens in Canada.
What happens to people living in cities? What makes them more liberal and less likely to support family values?
Obama won on emotion (did you see him crying?). Emotion is not going to save America, and as they go, so do we!

Obama's Mentor Is Flat Out Nuts.
Rather, he said: "I get up every morning thinking, today I'm gonna make a difference. Today I'm gonna end capitalism. Today I'm gonna make a revolution. I go to bed every night disappointed, but I'm back again tomorrow. That's the only way you can do it."
Ayers' past ties to President Obama stirred trouble for the Democratic candidate when he was running in 2008. The two worked together on a charitable board starting in the mid-1990s, and Ayers once hosted a campaign event for Obama when he first ran for the Illinois Senate.

Obama and Israel?
Seeing as the left always brings out the big Hollywood stars to agree with their position, like McCartney on our seal hunt. I figure it's only fair that we bring out some big guns (lefties quaking in their boots at the mere mention of guns) to get in Obama's face.
Language aside, he's right. The UN is garbage infested! He thinks women should be in charge, can't argue with that, but he is spot on, and a joy to listen to.....well unless you are a lefty.
The US is going to be in trouble if they re-elect Obama. Push back is coming from the Catholic Church and other Christian faiths. Obama made a huge mistake by supporting Planned Parenthood instead of Christians. It is building, in every Church in America, every sermon, every Sunday, from now until the election, will be about the effort by the Obama administration to take away the freedom of religion. They can try to disguise the issue with phoney women, testifying in phoney hearings, about phoney issues, but voters are not dumb.

Obama "Robin Hood" Of America!
At the top of that list is the expiration of the tax cuts approved during the George W. Bush administration. They're scheduled to expire at the end of 2012, and the White House estimates that letting them lapse, at least for households making more than $250,000, could pump $968 billion into the federal coffers over the next decade.Allowing those rates to expire, as Obama's budget proposes and as current law would allow absent intervention, would mean the following changes:-- For households making more than $250,000 and individuals making more than $200,000, the top income tax rate would rise from 35 percent to 39.6 percent.-- For those same households, the top rate on qualified dividends would rise from 15 percent to 39.6 percent.-- The top rate on long-term capital gains would rise from 15 percent to 20 percent.-- The estate tax, known disparagingly as the "death tax," would rise to 45 percent from 35 percent.
Eat the Rich, and when that is done, when you have destroyed the entrepreneurial spirit in America, who's next, as everyone will be equally poor. If someone tries to rise out of the ashes, will they be hailed as a saviour or killed for trying to rise above the masses? When all the factories are silent and cities are like Detroit, will the people be happy because everyone is equal?

PM Harper's Trip Has Americans Worried.
Obama has bowed down to a Saudi "King", but has turned his back on Americas best friend, Canada. Maybe it's payback for our relentless bashing of America and their Presidents. Funny how it was perfectly okay for Liberal MP's to sneer at G.W. Bush, but if any Conservative MP dared to say what a loser Obama is, he would be crucified by the media. Obama's decision on the Keystone pipeline was so blatantly about politics even a 7 year old could understand his motives, but our lefty media didn't say a bad thing about his decision. We get it. Obama = good, Harper = bad.
It has now become a huge election issue in the States. Expect Obama to reverse his decision just before the election, if polls show him losing ground. It's a shame that people's livelihoods have taken second place to the politics of the Keystone pipeline. Maybe America is starting to wake up though:
Read the whole article, it is one of the best commentaries on the Keystone pipelines I have read to date. He should be named an honorary Canadian, he understands the issue so well.As it turns out, the environmental movement doesn’t just want to shut down Keystone. Its real goal, as I discovered when I spoke recently to Michael Brune, the executive director of the Sierra Club, is much bigger. “The effort to stop Keystone is part of a broader effort to stop the expansion of the tar sands,” Brune said. “It is based on choking off the ability to find markets for tar sands oil.”This is a ludicrous goal. If it were to succeed, it would be deeply damaging to the national interest of both Canada and the United States. But it has no chance of succeeding. Energy is the single most important industry in Canada. Three-quarters of the Canadian public agree with the Harper government’s diversification strategy. China’s “thirst” for oil is hardly going to be deterred by the Sierra Club. And the Harper government views the continued development of the tar sands as a national strategic priority. Thus, at least one country in North America understands where its national interests lie. Too bad it’s not us.
So there you have it, in plain language, the environmentalists want to shut down the oil sands, no matter what the cost to our economy. They are idiots, plain and simple. They are do nothings who do not understand even the basics about how people survive or how the economy works.
Energy, Canada's future, and greenies want to shut it down. No wonder they don't want kids, they understand that they are killing future generations chances of ever surviving, the next baby ice age.

I Guess..... It's "Game On"!
....... Many unions — including the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Teamsters, the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters for the United States and Canada and others — support the pipeline. But some labor groups, including the Amalgamated Transit Union and the Transport Workers Union, oppose it. It seems that the labour unions are waking up to how uncompromising environmental groups really are. The environmentalists don't care about jobs because they get millions in donations for wrapping themselves in a "green" blanket. Unions are about jobs for their workers who rely on the jobs to support their families and communities. The environmentalists are never happy, unless a bird is being chopped up in their heavily subsidized wind turbines. Forget saving the seals, SAVE the eagles! Environmentalists should be out planting trees, if they really actually cared about pollution. Plants suck up CO2 don't you know! Like this: Just like the environmentalists still use 20 year old pictures of white baby seals being clubbed, they will NEVER, EVER show you the reclamation of the oil sands... that would seriously hurt their fund raising. Some of those trees are 20 years old now, but the "greenies" just can't live in the present. Telling the truth would mean that about 90% of them would be unemployed, if you call going around the world, in a polar bear suit, making an a$$ of yourself, employed. Here is another article that shows how unhappy Americans are with Obama's decision: By rejecting the Keystone XL oil pipeline, President Obama did more than just pander to environmentalists. He shredded attempts by his handlers to cast him as a pragmatic and reasonable man who can appeal to independent voters. I especially like this response from one of the comments: |
I guess it's "game on"!OBAMA -

The Sky Is Falling, The Sky Is Falling!
Obama is the Keystone Cops, going over a cliff and still never getting his "man".
Poor old "heavy crude" sometimes called "bitumen", it's not as fast flowing as "light, sweet crude", so it's called "dirty". Alberta oil sands have been a huge target of foreign funded attacks by our stupid, greedy "greens".
Interesting to know, Alberta is not the only producer of "heavy crude", even though you wouldn't know it from our far left media/environmentalists.
Increasing U.S. Dependency on Foreign Crude OilShocking! Conventional oil (1.02 trillion) is ruled by the middle east, and heavy oil (5.6 trillion) is ruled by Canada. Still Obama rejected Canadian oil in favour of middle east oil and even the Venezuela heavy oil. A well hidden fact is that California oil is 51% "heavy crude", but don't expect environmentalists to tell you about that, or to ever protest in the US.
Over the past five years, studies of global oil production have consistently predicted that diminishing discoveries of conventional crude oil will cause worldwide oil production to peak and irreversibly decline by the end of the present decade.[1], [2], [3], [4], [5] But heavy hydrocarbons still remain as a largely untapped petroleum resource — heavy crude oil and natural bitumen (also called “tar sands” or “oil sands”) exist in abundance.
Heavy oil was discovered in California before the turn of the previous century and currently comprises about half of the state’s crude oil production. With this production spread among more than 200 reservoirs, significant infrastructure to access heavy oil is already in place.
Foreign interests are sponsoring Canadian environmental groups to stop the Gateway pipeline. WHY? What's in it for them, except control of our oil without investment in it?
Even the middle east realizes that "heavy crude" has to be looked at.
Middle East oil countries should increase production of heavy oil as oil prices remain higher and improved technology makes it easier, those attending an industry conference in Bahrain were told.....
Production and refining of heavy crude costs more than recovering and processing light crude. Production of heavy oil from oil sands in Canada’s Alberta province has an estimated break-even point of $35 a barrel, Mirza noted. But Bahrain’s heavy oil could be recovered at a cost of between $8 and $9 a barrel, he said.Hello environmentalists, the gig is up. You should go to the middle east and tell them that they need the same environmental controls as Canada has had imposed on them. But they won't because environmentalists are chicken little's, running around in circles, wearing polar bear suits, yelling that the sky is falling, the sky is falling!
Oil prices in recent weeks have fluctuated in a range of $70 to $80 a barrel, which OPEC officials have declared an ideal range.
“Heavy oil will be a savior to the ever-increasing demand for fossil fuels from the developing nations,” Mirza was quoted as saying.

Liberal Anne McLellan LOVES Red Ali!
Her last comment about being happy that Red Ali is a female? Well Danielle Smith is a female too! I guess a Liberal female trumps a Conservative female in her eyes. Will she say the same thing if Danielle is elected?
What strikes me as interesting is that Red Ali has been making provincial friends with all the Liberals. Problem is that Dalton, Charest, and Clark are all stuck on stupid, and it appears that Red Ali wants to join their parade. She is obviously only listening to Liberals like Landslide Anne McLellan, a loser:
Conservative defeats Anne McLellan on 2nd try
Anne never understood Alberta, she still doesn't. In the clip she stated that only about 25% of Albertans would support Wildrose, and the polls back her up. Boy does she live in la la land. Most importantly, she didn't even support her own Liberal party, all she could do was praise Red Ali. Your slip is showing Anne!Updated Tue. Jan. 24 2006 12:35 AM ETCanadian PressEDMONTON -- The land finally slid under Landslide Annie.
After toughing out three narrow campaign victories since first coming to power in 1993, Deputy Prime Minister Anne McLellan lost Monday night to her Conservative opponent in Edmonton Centre, Laurie Hawn.
If that clip doesn't convince you that Alison Redford is a Liberal plant, nothing ever will. Which makes it all the more important to get out and support the Wildrose party.
You have to know that the Liberals are going to vote for her, she gave the teachers 100 MILLION dollars, and the the NDP voters are going to like her support of the teachers union, so she will get their votes too.
The Liberal/NDP supporters got her into power, it is up to us Conservatives to get her out of power. Make no mistake, she is Alberta's Dalton McGuinty. She will take a have province and make it a have not province because of her leftist leanings.
She has done nothing to support our oil sands! Nothing. She has been too busy visiting other provinces to get them to agree to another National Energy Program, that will destroy our economy. She has to go, she is dangerous to our economy and our livelihoods.
Join Wildrose, start the engine that will drive them to power. We have to, it is imperative that we do so, because Red Ali will destroy everything we have worked so hard to build. If we do not rid ourselves of this Liberal Premier, we will be worse off than the US under Obama.
Seriously, Red Ali has to go, she is not a Conservative, and she is not supportive of the engine of Canada, the oil sands. Boot her, and all of her supposedly Conservative cronies.

Build The Dang Pipelines!
If the Keystone pipeline to the US was built, oil prices would not rise as much as they are going to. The US would have a secure source of oil when things like this happen. Obama is a "eco-coward" for delaying the decision until after the election.
It is simple economics, supply and demand. This is something the "greens" have no concept of as they want us using light bulbs with mercury in them, because they don't give off "heat". Meanwhile those light bulbs end up in the landfills, and leach mercury into the soil and ground water. At the same time the oil industry is cleaning up it's act, in Canada at least.
They want the price of oil and gas to increase, so solar and wind can compete. Watch the price of food and many other products start to climb as well as gas prices. The "greens" have no concept of harm to people. They actually think that the world has too many people, so a few lost to starvation is no big deal. Funny-sad how they spout about saving the planet, but look down their noses at the people who are starving because of their insane push to save a tree, instead of a life. Save a seal instead of sending the meat to starving people.
The "greens" have to stop playing silly bugger with human lives pretending that they are doing it for the greater good. For their own greater good they mean!
I am sick of them and their distorted view of how we should live. They fly from hot spot to hot spot for their conferences, and party like animals, but the poor people in Africa are not allowed to have power or running water.
If sending one tractor to Africa, with years of gas and oil for it can feed hundreds, the "greens" would protest it. They want us back in the stone age, while they live it up. They also will not tell the truth about pipelines. Do those people living in Vancouver know that a pipeline runs right under the city?
I love that map! Alberta is the oil and gas lifeline of the US. How many Americans know that? Funny how no pipelines make it into Ontario or Quebec, I guess they like Saudi blood oil.How did all those pipelines get built? Innovators not destroyers like the "greens". Why the big problems now? "Greens" getting big money from American foundations to stop the development of Canada's resources. The greens are making up an industry, to support themselves.
Build the dang pipelines, a refinery or two, and some nuclear plants while we are at it. With natural gas below $3, expect the "greens" to ramp up their protests against fracking.
Go Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador! Don't let the "greens" stop the enrichment of our society for our children. (Using typical lefty emotional argument here.)

America Gives Canada The Finger!
Well it is time for PM Harper and Canada to give them the finger back. The Democrats don't understand that Canada supplies 20% of their oil. To make them stand up and pay attention, we should have a pipeline malfunction for a week that cuts off all our oil to them. Think gas is expensive now? HA!
What a weak President the US has, they should be embarrassed at how ineffectual he is, but the media remains in his pocket....what they are doing there is not a mystery, being lefties themselves, they will not turn on one of their own. They make a slight gaff by Perry into the end of the world, but criticize Obama for refusing to take a stance on the Keystone pipeline? Forget about it!
Doubling the capacity of an EXISTING pipeline. Well shut that pipeline down for maintenance, we Canadians would hate for an environmental disaster to occur on American soil. Let's ship that 800,000 barrels a day to China instead. Are Americans so uninformed that they don't understand how much oil Canada sends them? Oh, I take that back, most of them still think that the 911 terrorists came through Canada, including Obama's puppet Janet. The Keystone XL pipeline would carry as much as 700,000 barrels of oil a day, doubling the capacity of an existing pipeline operated by TransCanada in the upper Midwest. Supporters say the pipeline to Texas could significantly reduce U.S. dependence on Middle Eastern oil while providing thousands of jobs.TransCanada has said a delay in approval could cost it millions of dollars and keep thousands of people of from getting jobs. The American Petroleum Institute, the oil industry's chief lobbying group, said it was disappointed. "Delaying or denying Keystone XL will damage America's energy and national security," API president Jack Gerard said in a statement.
The U.S. Homeland Security chief has clarified earlier remarks that suggested the 9-11 terrorists entered the U.S. through Canada.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano made the comments during a media interview earlier this week, much to the chagrin of Canadians on both sides of the border.
In a release Tuesday night following the interview, she called Canada a "close ally and an important partner" and said she was simply misunderstood.
"I know that the September 11th hijackers did not come through Canada to the United States," she said in the statement.
"There are other instances, however, when suspected terrorists have attempted to enter our country from Canada to the United States. Some of these are well-known to the public -- such as the Millennium Bomber -- while others are not due to security reasons."
This bimbo wants to charge Canadians an extra $5 to enter the US, talk about petty. And you know that bridge to the US? Forget about it!
The momentum for a new bridge linking Detroit and Canada seems to be waning in Michigan, where the wealthy owner of a private span has waged a pricey public-relations war on television to sink it and a new public opinion poll released this week suggests a majority of voters oppose it.Let me guess, the owner of the present bridge is a Democrat?
Obama is fighting for his political life.....I hear he is on a vacation right now, golfing is he? The US is in a shambles and the guy is golfing? Wise up America, before it is too late.
Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman said the State Department decision was due largely to pressure from Nebraskans. Heineman called a special session of the Nebraska Legislature to address pipeline concerns, including a possible rerouting of the pipeline around the Sandhills.
I would actually feel sorry for Americans, except they are like Ontario, they keep electing total incompetents and blaming it on everything but themselves when jobs leave.
America needs to understand, it is Canada's oil, if you don't want it, we have other markets, you don't. You import, not export your oil. Wise up.
America gives Canada the finger! We can give them the finger right back, and it will hurt them way more than it will us! Watch.

I Thought Acorn Was Dead. Guess Not.
Officials with the revamped ACORN office in New York — operating as New York Communities for Change — have fired staff, shredded reams of documents and told workers to blame disgruntled ex-employees for leaking information in an effort to explain away a FoxNews.com report last week on the group’s involvement in Occupy Wall Street protests, according to sources. What's so bad about "community organizers" like Obama was, organizing the Wall Street protests? Nothing as long as they are up front about it. No hiding. No dishonesty. No violence. Do they think they are fooling anyone? I guess so.
FoxNews.com’s report identified NYCC as a key organizing force behind the Occupy Wall Street protests. Sources within the group also told FoxNews.com NYCC was hiring people to carry signs and join the protests. NYCC — a nonprofit organization run almost entirely by former ACORN officials and employees –did not reply for comment prior to the publication of the initial article, but later posted a statement on its website dismissing the article and denying that it pays protesters.
Why won't NYCC reveal that they are behind the Occupy Wall Street protests? If it's such a great cause shouldn't they be shouting their support from the roof tops? Could it be that the protests are so lame, that no-one wants to take responsibility for the failed protest? Seriously, who cares what a bunch of drugged out, over sexed, want to be, hippies think?
I haven't posted about the "occupy" movement until now, because it's only the media that is keeping this issue alive. Most of us taxpaying workers are too busy taking responsibility for our families to care about a bunch of lazy, druggies who refuse to grow up. It appears that we still have some tent dwellers in Edmonton....who knew? It's pretty cold out there tonight, let's see how long they last.
The police should take down every tent that does not have anyone in it tonight, and every night until the mess is gone. Maybe taxpayers should "take back" the spaces we are paying for, and let the protesters clean up.

It's Time For A Conservative Majority If You Love Canada!
On Wednesday, Agop Evereklian, the Tory candidate in Pierrefonds-Dollard, was forced to replace his campaign manager, Giulio Maturi. The move followed an article in Le Devoir noting that Mr. Maturi was back at work for the Conservatives after being shunned by the party when he was linked to a municipal fundraising scandal.Interesting, the reporter, doesn't even bother to goggle who caused the problem for Maturi. It turns out that it was a Paul Martin Liberal!
Benoit Labonté was an aide to former Liberal PM Paul Martin. That's right, he's a Liberal. So I guess the media don't think it's worth mentioning. The thing is he seems to have a somewhat shady past himself. The media has run with his allegations, despite the denial from Mr. Maturi that it ever occurred. But what of Benoit Labonté? Well, you would think the media might mention this, no?Maybe our reporters need to go back to school, they will not qualify for the Liberal goody give away of $4,000, but they seriously need to learn to do more than spout their opinions.
"Montreal opposition leader Benoît Labonté is denying allegations he had dealings with the construction entrepreneur at the centre of the city's water-meter scandal.
The allegations were reported Friday by RueFrontenac.com, the online news site written by the locked-out journalists from the French-language daily Journal de Montreal.
Labonté met with Tony Accurso in March 2008 while preparing to launch his bid to lead the Vision Montreal party, the website said, citing anonymous sources.
The website alleges Labonté eventually asked for and received more than $100,000 in donations from Accurso."
Like this reporter:
However, the news that Mr. Ignatieff will not support a Tory budget will bolster Stephen Harper’s claim that Canadians should give him a majority to end the parliamentary logjam. It will come as welcome news to the Prime Minister, who has been on the defensive since the election campaign began.
By contrast, Mr. Ignatieff has been cruising, visibly relaxed and confident. At an event in Vancouver, the Liberal leader said he couldn’t remember having as much fun in politics as he’s had in the past few days on the campaign trail.Maybe Iggy is relaxed because he knows he is going back to Haaarvard soon and won't have to worry about what happens to Canada when Bob Rae forms a coalition government.
Watch this to see, if PM Harper is defensive. He is relaxed, and rocks the house. All his venues have been full to capacity and beyond, as CTV reported about the Montreal rally. Maybe the reporter should stop making things up.
H/T to Dr. Roy for this video:
Finally, information on the Liberal candidate for Edmonton-Strathcona, a 20 year old college student is set up as a sacrificial lamb so the Liberals can at least say they ran a candidate. Linda Duncan won last time because the Liberals and NDP formed a coalition to defeat the Conservative MP, it worked last time and they are thinking it will work again. How desperate are the Liberals to be sending a 20 year old student into the lion's den of politics? Seriously.
EDMONTON — A 20-year-old Grant MacEwan University student appointed to run for the Liberals in Edmonton-Strathcona will have to take on a well-funded Conservative candidate but also an unofficial “Liberals for Linda” campaign. This time university will be done, so no lefty university votes for Linda, plus she has not been a professor since 2008, so she has no students to help her campaign. The Conservatives are throwing all their resources at that riding, it should go blue.
Interesting tidbit, my office mate told me last election that the Liberals were going to vote for Linda in that riding, and just the other day I said it looked like a Conservative majority or coalition, and he said, "yes, and the Conservatives will not get a majority". I guess the Liberals are happy with the coalition option. So, let's get out there and make that majority happen! We have to fight the Liberals, NDP, Greens, Bloc and the media. We are also fighting an unofficial "Liberals for any Liberal/NDP/Green/Bloc campaign" .
Maybe Iggy is "relaxed" because he finally made the decision to escape Canada and politics, while PM Harper is "defensive" because he actually cares about what happens TO Canada. One thinks Canada is made up of peasants who aren't listening to him, the other knows how precious Canada is, and wants to improve it, so it can shine.
I will take PM Harper over some American faux PM any day, and I will fight hard for my country, Canada. This is not a game, this is about a takeover of Canada by radical leftists who want power, and could care less about what happens to Canada. This is one of the most important elections Canada has ever had. If they get away with this, the Conservatives will never gain power again. DO NOT let the media sell Canada down the river, like they did to the US by getting Obama elected.
It's time for us to stand up for Canada, again! Our only chance is a Conservative majority. Then we can make sure riding redistribution happens and funding by taxpayers to political parties becomes a thing of the past. It's time for a Conservative majority if you love Canada!

Why Canada Lost It's Seat At The Security Council
In sharp reversal, U.S. agrees to rebuke Israel in Security Council
The U.S. informed Arab governments Tuesday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body "does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity," a move aimed at avoiding the prospect of having to veto a stronger Palestinian resolution calling the settlements illegal. At a time when the Arab world is in serious turmoil, the US is going to tell Israel not to build anymore houses? They are going to weaken Israel at the very time that Israel is being surrounded and threatened by the Islamic nations? Iran is sending warships through the Suez Canal, and Obama is going to slap the Israelis on the wrist for building houses, giving those Islamic nations more power? But the Palestinians rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesdy of Arab representativs and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution Friday, according to officials familar with the issue. The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospect that the Obama adminstration will cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.
Canada would have stood up to the Islamic nations and sided with Israel, that is why Obama did not support our bid for a seat at the security council. We would not have been scared of the US, we would not have bowed down to the Arab world, like Obama did.
Now, with the US weakened by Obama, Israel is in deep trouble. They obviously can not rely on the US to back them up, and they know they will get no support from Europe. Canada and Australia will support them, but we are not super powers like the US or China.Israel stands alone. The election of Obama sealed their fate, and the fate of those Islamic countries who think they can start a war against Israel without consequences.
While Islamic counties revolt against their dictators, shouting for democracy, the US under Obama and the UN are trying to restrict Israel, a sovereign nation, from developing their own nation. Funny how the US has no comment on the warships headed towards Israel. When did Americans become weak? Why does the Arab world think they can win a war against Israel? What has Obama said to them besides the bowing? He's a dangerous clown.
This is the President of the US. Can you be sure he will make the best decisions for America? To help Israel? Does the US have your back anymore? When the President of the US bows to enemies and will not support their friends, what happens next?Obama refused to support their best friend Canada in their quest for a seat on the security council, Obama is now refusing to support Israel, does the US have any friends left that Obama hasn't screwed? I'm starting to think Alberta needs to turn off the taps to the US, and start sending our oil to China.

Obama vs Trump?
Obama will go down in history as the president who lost EgyptThe east is in turmoil. There are very few safe havens left in this world of ours. Can the US turn to a successful businessman to lead them? I'm not so sure he's the one to lead them, I like Palin much better, but he's better than lots of other Republican candidates.
The street revolts in Tunisia and Egypt show that the United States can do very little to save its friends from the wrath of their citizens. Jimmy Carter will go down in American history as "the president who lost Iran," which during his term went from being a major strategic ally of the United States to being the revolutionary Islamic Republic. Barack Obama will be remembered as the president who "lost" Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt, and during whose tenure America's alliances in the Middle East crumbled.
Donald Trump is mad as hell — and he’s letting everybody know it. In a wide-ranging exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV on Friday, the billionaire real estate mogul and reality TV star lashes out at China, OPEC, Obama’s Middle East dealings, the president’s State of the Union address and more.
Trump takes aim at America’s “horrible” trade agreements, declares that the Middle East is going to explode, warns about “catastrophic” oil prices, and charges that Obama’s Afghanistan policy is “dangerous and stupid.”
He also complains that the United States is a “laughing stock” throughout the world — and confirms that he is seriously considering running for president in 2012.
Help is coming. Our PM is going to the US to talk to President Obama on Friday. This is, as far as I know, an unscheduled visit. Why? I suspect that Obama is wanting some advise on the Middle East and recognizes that PM Harper is a smart man, with a strong moral and political sense of what to do. Face to face so no wiki-leaks happen.
If nothing else, call on the useless UN to intervene and make sure that Egyptians actually get to vote in a fair and democratic election in September. Do not let a fake "intern" government take over Egypt, like Hezbollah has taken over Lebanon. Once that happens the Egyptians will be no better off than they were before, they will have just exchanged one dictator for another.
Keep warm my American friends, both blizzards will eventually end.

Bush, Obama, And Disgusting Remembrance Day Antics!
President Bush Is A Class Act.
It's worth watching. No matter how hard O'Reilly tried to get Bush to comment on the current President, he wouldn't do it.
Speaking of Obama...It looks like the shine is off of Obama internationally as well as at home.
Obama given chilly reception at G20 summit
NEW YORK -- Barack Obama, heralded as a hero abroad when he was elected U.S. President, is getting none of that treatment at the G20 Summit in South Korea. And finally, a match made in heaven:
Mr. Obama headed to the summit with a plea for nations to work together to put the global economy on sounder footing and with hopes of signing a huge export-boosting trade agreement with South Korea.
Instead, he has gotten an earful from world leaders who have blasted the United States for monetary policies that are depressing the value of the U.S. dollar and threatening to create new bubbles.
And, in another major blow, he failed to seal a free trade deal with South Korea, a pact that would have marked the United States’ biggest trade pact since NAFTA was signed in 1994.
Veterans Day Outrage and The boy brimming with pride, the fanatics burning with hate...two faces of Armistice Day
Disgusting! I expect imams from all over the world to condemn those fanatics, but I'm not holding my breath. Is this a turning point? Will the west wake up now? Will moderate Muslims? I guess we have to wait and see.

Stop Funding Dictators And Despots!
Here's a thought. Stop funding dictators and despots! I know that's radical and not very progressive. It might even be worthy of an HRC investigation for "hurt" feelings. Hope I have Ezra as my lawyer!
So much for Obama's allegiance to us
What did we do to earn this passionate indifference from our closest friend?Obama is the big pretender, he has been busy slapping down US allies and bowing to US enemies. I wait patiently for his wings to be clipped on Nov 2. I hope Americans take away his majorities in the Congress and the Senate.
No other nation has shed proportionately as much blood in Afghanistan as we have, not even the magnificent British. Is there a more reliable friend, ally or generous trading partner than us? Have we not opened up our oil pipelines to them? Did we not go along with their foolish bailout of General Motors?
What more did we have to do for a mere vote?
So much for U.S. President Barack Obama’s allegiance. What about his own national interest? Would it not be to his advantage to have us on the Security Council with him, instead of a deeply indebted, socialist European country (but I repeat myself)? Portugal has a population smaller than Ontario’s and an economy smaller than Alberta’s.
What is happening with our taxpayer donations to foreign countries? How about this:
Ethiopia using Canadian aid as a political weapon, rights group says
The Canadian government says it is “deeply concerned” by a report that its foreign aid to Ethiopia is being used as a weapon to crush political dissent and bolster the power of the ruling party.Maybe it's time for CIDA to be investigated! SURVEYS suggest???? I thought the CIDA was a hands on agency? They are going to close down the aid only now, after the scandal has come to light? Are they kidding us? We need to look at the CIDA and what they are doing with our money, and we need a strong Minister on the file. I know Bev Oda is an oriental female from Ontario so that makes her a politically prime candidate as a Minister, that doesn't mean she is competent. She is weak in question period and obviously the civil servants at International Cooperation and CIDA are running the show. It's time to only give aid that we can distribute directly.
The federal government, which provided more than $150-million to Ethiopia in 2008, is calling for a full investigation into the allegations that Ethiopia’s ruling party is routinely using aid money to reward supporters and punish those who fail to support it.
.......
Responding to questions on Tuesday, Mr. Cantin said Canada’s aid to Ethiopia can be suspended if the authorities fail to meet the conditions that are attached to the aid, including a pledge that the aid must reach the targeted beneficiaries.
Surveys by CIDA suggest that its aid is reaching those who need help, he said. “CIDA takes allegations of aid politicization seriously,” he said, “and together with the international community, will participate in efforts to strengthen safeguards where necessary.”
No more "surveys" CIDA, we want to see you on the ground in Ethiopia getting the aid to the people, not the corrupt government.

9:58 PM on October 19, 2010first - close down CIDA - they are useless bunch of self-serving idiots.
second - stop dealing with foreign govts
third - select a number of well known, well run Canadian NGO's (none with religious connections though - aid should not come with a religious string)
forth - give CIDA budget to NGO's
fifth - stand back and watch the job get done
The job being getting aid to where it is intended in a timely fashion to those who can help. Otherwords local NGO's (NOT churches btw). The NGO community knows each other and who can is efficient and who is not, who can be trusted and who can not.
I was on one assignment and a big cruise type river ship went past. The NGO's all looked and said 'There goes CIDA (staff)' - more concerned about their own creature comforts.
Two Cdn NGO's come to mind but this may not be the place to mention them

USA....Pick Up Your Speaker In Canada!

"We just have to pass the Healthcare Bill to see what's in it." - Nancy Pelosi (Quoted March, 2010)
''Life's tough .. it's even tougher if you're stupid.'' - John Wayne
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It appears that the Democrats already think they have invaded Canada! They do not think our oil is "foreign". Well I hate to disagree, but, Canada is a sovereign nation, and therefore our oil is "foreign" to the USA. We are happy to share it, for a price, but it is not yours. As a matter of fact, it's not even Canada's (remember the NEP?), it's Alberta's!
Alberta oil not 'foreign,' U.S. official tells premiers
One of the most powerful politicians in the U.S. said that while Washington wants to wean itself off foreign oil, Canada is the exception because it isn't "foreign," according to Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach.
The comments came as U.S Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi met with politicians, environmentalists and First Nations leaders in Calgary.
"She didn't consider Canada to be foreign oil," Stelmach said Thursday, noting that the politicians also spoke about his province's efforts in renewable energy during their dinner meeting on Wednesday.
So US Democrats feel they can dictate to us how we sell our oil? Environmentalists think they can dictate how we sell our oil? Easterners (McGuinty and Charest) think they can dictate to us how we sell our oil, even though they don't buy it? How about Albertan's sell their own oil, to whomever they want to, like China and India, if the US is unhappy with our "dirty" oil? How would Pelosi like to explain to the American people that 20% of the oil they need has become unavailable because Alberta doesn't want to sell their "dirty" oil to the USA anymore? Can you say $8.00 a gallon gas Nancy?
You don't want our "dirty" oil? Go buy "blood" oil from the Middle East and continue to support terrorism. Oh, and did anyone ask you about the environmental disaster that is happening in the Gulf right now? Did the environmental groups ask you about that? Funny how quiet the greenies have been about that little spill. You would suspect that because far left Obama is in power that the econuts are happy and that's why they are so quiet. What has happened to protests against "dirty" coal? Hello greenies, your prejudices are showing!
Politicians are still talking "global warming", econuts are still talking "climate change", with straight faces. HA!
One of those groups is Environmental Defence, whose executive director Rick Smith took issue with Stelmach's characterization of the oilsands.
Smith said the U.S. has never threatened to cut off Canadian oil imports, and he said that Stelmach was creating a "straw man" to distract from the real issues of pollution and climate change.
Hey Smith you ever seen the oilsands? Mother Nature's biggest oil spill ever, and all we are doing is cleaning up the mess, why would environmentalists complain about that?
Pelosi is a typical Californian lefty, who will be retired in November, so Rae can get a boner about meeting the botox queen, but he might want to be careful about his stance on energy.

"You don't need God anymore, you have us Democrats." - Nancy Pelosi (Quoted 2006)
(Is there anything going on behind those eyes????)
HOW LUCKY CAN THE USA BE - TO HAVE SUCH BRILLIANT MINDS IN CHARGE OF THEIR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY?

CBS Wants You To Rate The President!
Yikes, that has to sting! Even on a lefty site, Obama only scores an F by 64% of Americans...and a few Canadians. This is not a good sign for the Democrat's in the upcoming November elections.Americans are giving him a huge thumbs down on health care, smart people that they are, they understand socialist programs are bad for everyone.

A clear 79% of Americans do not like the health care bill. That is huge considering all the Obama supporters in the last election. Where has all the support for a hope and change president gone? Maybe it's evaporated because he has offered no hope and bad changes. Go vote if you want, even you Liberal trolls, maybe you can bump up his numbers, but I wouldn't count on it. Too bad he has 4 years in power. This poll was opened in January and appears to still be open, are they hoping for the numbers to change for the better?
I suspect, by the numbers attracted to the Tea Party movement, that things are going to change come November, it appears that Americans are realizing what a huge mistake they made electing Obama. Sure makes me thankful that we have Prime Minister Stephen Harper to guide this wonderful country.
I found this comment at the site very interesting:
CBO: Eight Years of Iraq War Cost Less Than Obama's Two Year Stimulus ActToo bad the stimulus money did next to nothing for the American economy. It's Americans who are suffering for the bad fiscal policies of the Democrats...remember they have total control of both the Congress and the Senate, plus the White House with a Democratic President, so they have no excuse for their own failed policies.
As President Obama prepares to tie a bow on U.S. combat operations in Iraq, Congressional Budget Office numbers show that the total cost of the eight-year war was less than the stimulus bill passed by the Democratic-led Congress in 2009.
According to CBO numbers in its Budget and Economic Outlook published this month, the cost of Operation Iraqi Freedom was $709 billion for military and related activities, including training of Iraqi forces and diplomatic operations.
The projected cost of the stimulus, which passed in February 2009, and is expected to have a shelf life of two years, was $862 billion.
The U.S. deficit for fiscal year 2010 is expected to be $1.3 trillion, according to CBO. That compares to a 2007 deficit of $160.7 billion and a 2008 deficit of $458.6 billion, according to data provided by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.
In 2007 and 2008, the deficit as a percentage of gross domestic product was 1.2 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively.
"Relative to the size of the economy, this year's deficit is expected to be the second largest shortfall in the past 65 years; 9.1 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), exceeded only by last year's deficit of 9.9 percent of GDP," CBO wrote.
The CBO figures show that the most expensive year of the Iraq war was in 2008, the year when the surge proposed by Gen. David Petraeus and approved by President Bush was in full swing and the turning point in the war. The total cost of Iraq operations in 2008 was $140 billion. In 2007, the cost of Iraq operations was $124 billion.
According to an analysis by the American Thinker's Randall Hoven, the cost of the Iraq war from 2003-2008 -- when Bush was in office -- was $20 billion less than the cost of education spending and less than a quarter of the cost of Medicare spending during that same period.
I can't wait to see what happens in November, will America reawaken, or will they slumber on?

How Is The US Doing Under Obama?
I set my perimeters for $150000 or less, and headed to Arizona and Texas. I thought I would find a few properties, boy was I shocked!
Lots of short sales and foreclosures. Look at that, you can get a 3000 to 3500 sqft house in San Tan Valley for $140,000! Winter vacation hear I come!Or how about this Texas house?
What's the price? $149,900...unbelievable!! What really depressed me was that many of the homes were empty, so where have all those people gone? They have walked away from their homes because they can't afford the payments anymore. It reminds me of the Trudeau NEP reign and how people in Alberta did the same thing, just walked away from their homes.Obama is spending like mad and it is not helping Americans. Until those homes start to sell and small and medium businesses start hiring again, America is going to stagnate. They will become the next Japan. Printing money is not the answer.
If you don't feel too much like a vulture, you might want to think about investing in some US real estate. Our dollar is close to parity, and after looking at properties in Sun City Arizona, my bones feel warmer thinking about winters down there. Why do Canadians retire and still live in coldville? I know I will keep living in Edmonton in the summer, you can't beat our soil for growing veggies but winter in Arizona sounds good right now. What bothers me is that all their yards are rocks, no grass anywhere, but that's a small problem. Time to plan a trip to Arizona, check out some properties in person, thanks to Obama.

Obama As Dictator?
When asked what President Obama needs to do to prove to Americans that his administration is on top of the Gulf cleanup, Ed Schultz pressed that the President needs to call the shots and go "dictator" in his dealings with BP.
"I think the President has to make it very clear to the American people tonight, Chris, that we're not going to be stuck with the bill on this," Schultz said about the BP oil spill.
"When does the President become a dictator on this?" Schultz asked in an outburst. "When does the President start really calling the shots and saying 'This is the number. This is what you're going to pay. We're not going to let you off the hook.'?"
Yikes, and they think PM Harper has strict control over government? NBC is actually calling for Obama to become a dictator....now that is scary!
Canada should welcome SUN TV News! Don't forget to pledge to view, make sure the CRTC knows we are watching them!
And no, Libby doesn't have to go, she should stick around to remind us of what the NDP really stands for, and it's not tolerance. It's about time rabble got some bad press. They have been more offense than anything you would find at freedominion.ca yet it is freedominion that has had the legal problems along with Ezra, and other free speakers. Where is the HRC hiding? Why do they deserve our money? What purpose do they serve?
Time to shine a light on the blood sucking leeches and cockroaches that have been hiding in the dark...time for the Conservative light to shine down on them.

LIUNA, a vocal Keystone supporter, took aim at other unions for opposing the project.
