Helping Gays and Christians

First off, I think this is a good initiative as long as we are really helping those who are at risk.

Ottawa has pledged $100,000 to support persecuted gay and lesbian refugees who flee to Canada.

Immigration Minister Jason Kenney announced Thursday that the funding will launch a pilot project in partnership with the Rainbow Refugee Committee, a Vancouver-based group that helps persecuted gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexual people make refugee claims.

Saving those who are threatened with death is a good thing. Now I want those Christians who are being threatened to also get help.

Thousands of Christians have been forced to flee their homes in Western Ethiopia after Muslim extremists set fire to roughly 50 churches and dozens of Christian homes.

At least one Christian has been killed, many more have been injured and anywhere from 3,000 to 10,000 have been displaced in the attacks that began March 2 after a Christian in the community of Asendabo was accused of desecrating the Koran.

Why can't these Christians be allowed to get the same protection from our government as gays? Both groups are in danger, both groups need to be given refugee status in Canada.

It will not happen as long as we have idiots like this:

“I want to shoot everyone in this room,” a McGill University student recently announced using his online Twitter feed, claiming he had surreptitiously “infiltrated” what was in fact an open film screening of Indoctrinate U, hosted by Conservative McGill and Libertarian McGill. “I should have brought an M16,” read another of his messages. In short toxic tweets, the student called the conservative gathering “a Zionist meeting” and a “Satanist ritual,” while sprinkling in insults about Jews.

Yikes, we have a serious nut case here, but I bet that they will be coddled and hugged by the "progressives".

I do not want more boat loads of illegal immigrants showing up on our shores. We have enough "real" refugees to deal with, let alone illegal cue jumpers, who are not really refugees. Canada has opened it's doors to all who want to come here for a better life. It's time for us to stop taking in the drug dealers and unemployable ingrates.

Funny how the left will help gays but bitterly oppose any help for Christians in Muslim countries. Why are those on the left so scared of Christians but supportive of Muslims who stone women to death? It continues to puzzle me because the Liberals are trying to portray themselves as the family guys, while the lefty feminists ignore the human rights of women in Arab countries.

I think both gays and Christians need Canada's protection.

Why Canada Lost It's Seat At The Security Council

The minute I saw this story, I understood why the US, under Obama's rule refused to support Canada's quest for a seat on the security council. It was understandable that the Muslim countries like the UAE the Liberals love didn't like us, but our best friend the US betrayed us by not supporting our bid. Why? Here is the answer:

But the Palestinians rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesdy of Arab representativs and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution Friday, according to officials familar with the issue. The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospect that the Obama adminstration will cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.

At a time when the Arab world is in serious turmoil, the US is going to tell Israel not to build anymore houses? They are going to weaken Israel at the very time that Israel is being surrounded and threatened by the Islamic nations? Iran is sending warships through the Suez Canal, and Obama is going to slap the Israelis on the wrist for building houses, giving those Islamic nations more power?

Canada would have stood up to the Islamic nations and sided with Israel, that is why Obama did not support our bid for a seat at the security council. We would not have been scared of the US, we would not have bowed down to the Arab world, like Obama did. Now, with the US weakened by Obama, Israel is in deep trouble. They obviously can not rely on the US to back them up, and they know they will get no support from Europe. Canada and Australia will support them, but we are not super powers like the US or China.

Israel stands alone. The election of Obama sealed their fate, and the fate of those Islamic countries who think they can start a war against Israel without consequences.

While Islamic counties revolt against their dictators, shouting for democracy, the US under Obama and the UN are trying to restrict Israel, a sovereign nation, from developing their own nation. Funny how the US has no comment on the warships headed towards Israel. When did Americans become weak? Why does the Arab world think they can win a war against Israel? What has Obama said to them besides the bowing? He's a dangerous clown.
This is the President of the US. Can you be sure he will make the best decisions for America? To help Israel? Does the US have your back anymore? When the President of the US bows to enemies and will not support their friends, what happens next?

Obama refused to support their best friend Canada in their quest for a seat on the security council, Obama is now refusing to support Israel, does the US have any friends left that Obama hasn't screwed? I'm starting to think Alberta needs to turn off the taps to the US, and start sending our oil to China.

Sharia Stinks!

I had a fight with my MALE MP because I wrote on my blog that Islam suppresses women. He thought I was being too harsh. I thought he was being blind to the problems of Sharia. We both decided to agree to disagree.

I don't think males understand the fear that females have about sharia. I do not want to have to bow down to Muslim males. I fought hard to achieve the career I have now, I think ALL women should have the same chance, but sharia will not allow Muslim females to achieve their goals. We are seeing sharia creep into our justice system with the ruling that a female can cover her face when testifying. It is a slow progression, but it is happening. Journalists are afraid to report about anything Muslim, we saw that with their refusal to show the cartoons depicting Mohammad. Now our MP's are doing the same thing, they are refusing to acknowledge that Islam is a danger to women. Maybe they should listen to a Muslim about the issue:



Wafa Sultan is a strong voice in support of Muslim women and ultimately all women. Funny how feminists ignore her and her message. I want my MP to come out of the dark and support those females who are brave enough to stand up against sharia. I do not want to wear a sack, I do not want to have to be accompanied by a male representative wherever I go. I do not want my female grandchildren mutilated, and I do not want them subjected to a harsh environment of suppression and servitude to males.  I do not want the government to follow political correctness, but I'm afraid that they have already been compromised.  It's time for the silent majority to get LOUD!
