Well fluke (HA) warm is how I would describe Obama's position on Israel. I wonder if he gets tired of tiptoeing around all day trying to avoid anyone who might want him to take a stand on an issue? He might be a nice person, but he is a pi$$ poor administrator. He bows to Saudi kings but wants Israel to give back land that would insure that Israel would get destroyed.
Seeing as the left always brings out the big Hollywood stars to agree with their position, like McCartney on our seal hunt. I figure it's only fair that we bring out some big guns (lefties quaking in their boots at the mere mention of guns) to get in Obama's face.
Language aside, he's right. The UN is garbage infested! He thinks women should be in charge, can't argue with that, but he is spot on, and a joy to listen to.....well unless you are a lefty.
The US is going to be in trouble if they re-elect Obama. Push back is coming from the Catholic Church and other Christian faiths. Obama made a huge mistake by supporting Planned Parenthood instead of Christians. It is building, in every Church in America, every sermon, every Sunday, from now until the election, will be about the effort by the Obama administration to take away the freedom of religion. They can try to disguise the issue with phoney women, testifying in phoney hearings, about phoney issues, but voters are not dumb.

Helping Gays and Christians
First off, I think this is a good initiative as long as we are really helping those who are at risk.
Ottawa has pledged $100,000 to support persecuted gay and lesbian refugees who flee to Canada.Saving those who are threatened with death is a good thing. Now I want those Christians who are being threatened to also get help.Immigration Minister Jason Kenney announced Thursday that the funding will launch a pilot project in partnership with the Rainbow Refugee Committee, a Vancouver-based group that helps persecuted gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexual people make refugee claims.
Thousands of Christians have been forced to flee their homes in Western Ethiopia after Muslim extremists set fire to roughly 50 churches and dozens of Christian homes. At least one Christian has been killed, many more have been injured and anywhere from 3,000 to 10,000 have been displaced in the attacks that began March 2 after a Christian in the community of Asendabo was accused of desecrating the Koran.
Why can't these Christians be allowed to get the same protection from our government as gays? Both groups are in danger, both groups need to be given refugee status in Canada.
It will not happen as long as we have idiots like this:
I do not want more boat loads of illegal immigrants showing up on our shores. We have enough "real" refugees to deal with, let alone illegal cue jumpers, who are not really refugees. Canada has opened it's doors to all who want to come here for a better life. It's time for us to stop taking in the drug dealers and unemployable ingrates.
Funny how the left will help gays but bitterly oppose any help for Christians in Muslim countries. Why are those on the left so scared of Christians but supportive of Muslims who stone women to death? It continues to puzzle me because the Liberals are trying to portray themselves as the family guys, while the lefty feminists ignore the human rights of women in Arab countries.
I think both gays and Christians need Canada's protection.
It will not happen as long as we have idiots like this:
“I want to shoot everyone in this room,” a McGill University student recently announced using his online Twitter feed, claiming he had surreptitiously “infiltrated” what was in fact an open film screening of Indoctrinate U, hosted by Conservative McGill and Libertarian McGill. “I should have brought an M16,” read another of his messages. In short toxic tweets, the student called the conservative gathering “a Zionist meeting” and a “Satanist ritual,” while sprinkling in insults about Jews.Yikes, we have a serious nut case here, but I bet that they will be coddled and hugged by the "progressives".

The Silenced Majority.
My parents arrived safely from Kelowna therefore blogging will be intermittent for the next week. We are busy slowly thawing them out over a open fire, they should be alert by Christmas Eve! Family is more important than blogging, I will attempt to post, but don't expect much until they leave.
Talking to my Liberal Mom and Dad, they are as worried as I am about the lack of respect for Christians that is occurring in Canada today. They can't understand how minorities get listened to by the media while the majority is silenced. It is no longer the silent majority, it is the silenced majority.
Support Israel, you are a racist. Support traditional marriage, you are a homo-scardy-cat red-necked intolerant gun welding Christian.
Yikes, did I say Christian? Is that term still allowed on campuses? Are free debates about abortion allowed on campuses? Debates on Islam, the religion of peace, should be enlightening, if they were allowed! Free speech only if you agree with my point of view. Sad really.
Every Christmas, is a Merry Christmas. Don't let stupid political opinions divide your family at this time of year. Merry Christmas to all my readers, thank you for your support and comments (I love the comments, keep them coming, they are your chance to voice your opinion on issues). I will try to post between the perogies on Christmas Eve and the turkey on Christmas day. If not, may your family be together, in love this year.

Bashing Some Religions....
Has become an art with lefties. You can not be an Evangelical, or a Catholic, and run for office, because you are imposing your morals on everyone else. Or so the story goes. Liberals are up to their cultural wars. How did Quebec lose it's way? They insist that we respect their language and their culture, but they have cut a huge hole in their culture by turning their backs on religion and especially Catholic teachings. Typical "progressives" talking out of both sides of their mouths at the same time.
Here is a typical religion basher:
I bet you thought he was talking about Muslims. Lefties have shown how they are acting as apologists for Muslims by their actions today. They are supporting a terrorist group, Hamas, who are actively killing their own people, over a country, Israel, who has a right to defend their people.
A country has the right to stop anyone from entering into their territory, period. These "progressives" have gotten used to not being challenged by police when they protest, from environmentalists to G20 protesters, they have been handled with kids gloves, and when attacked the police and politicians have backed off. Israel was using kids gloves in handling a very sticky situation and only when FORCED by those "progressives" did they retaliate. I hope the freedom fighters are in shock tonight. It is not a game, they got their own people killed. The videos clearly show that they were the aggressors. I wonder how many of those dead were killed by the terrorists who grabbed the guns from the soldiers and started shooting? The Israelis were shooting at the legs, which is not a kill shot. So how many of the bullets from the stolen guns ended up killing their own people? I bet we will find that out soon.
This is not a culture war, it is not a war about land, it is a war about a religion, but not the Evangelicals, they have killed no one, they have planted no IED's, they have flown no planes into buildings, they have hung no gays, they have stoned no women. The "progressives" think Christians are weak and therefore an easy target. Christians are under attack, as are Jews. It is time for us to call the "progressives" game. It is time to stand up for Israel and it is time to stand up against those who hate and hide behind their own religion, the religion of peace, like we saw today.
I suggest as a start, that all "progressives" convert to Islam. To be a true warrior for their cause, they must convert. Then get back to us Christians when your daughters are required to marry a 65 year old at the tender age of 13. These supposed "aid workers" thought they could challenge Israel like Greenpeace challenges the whale hunters, too bad they are too immature to realize that they were playing with people's lives. The blame is on their shoulders, they started it, now it has been ended badly for some of them, for which I am really sorry.

Why do these people insist on mixing their religious beliefs with politics? As long as they insist on it, why should we stop bashing them? I know that it's supposed to be taboo to criticize somebody religious beliefs, but they have made those religious beliefs into political causes and intertwined the two. By doing so, they have made it necessary for us to criticize their religion.
....
I'll stop criticizing evangelicals when they quit pushing their religion into politics.

Support For Israel Is Bad?
I refuse to link to any article that is promoting a lefty book by an air head, but I will link to Ezra's take on the issue.
What bothers me about this is the amount of attention the media is paying to an author who is bashing Christians. I am a Catholic, and I vote Conservative, but I do so because the Conservatives line up best with my beliefs and morals. I do not try to convert anyone to become Catholic and I do not promote voting Conservative BECAUSE you are Christian.
I do not agree with abortion, swingers, carbon taxes, big government, the gun registry, the wheat board monopoly, legalizing drugs or prostitution, euthanasia, and many other things the left promotes. Being Christian will help me to decide what party to vote for and I see nothing wrong with that. It is who I am and what I believe.
My parents are Catholic, and they vote Liberal, maybe the author can explain that? Are all lefties non-Christians? Obviously not. So, why demonize Christians? Guess they are easy targets for the left because they turn the other cheek.

Lynch: I've Fallen And I Can't Get Up!
I have finally gotten around to reading Ezra's book, "Shakedown". I'm only half way through it, but I expect to be done later tonight. It is an excellent read. I highly recommend it to all Canadians and all lovers of free speech!
Maybe because I am reading the book, some articles have caught my attention that normally might not have twigged with me.
School prayer charges stir protests
Educators face jail in Florida
Yikes, teachers are asked to practice Christian virtue and that's BAD? Well, obviously we can't have teachers telling their students that stealing is wrong, that murder is wrong, or that helping those less fortunate is good. I mean really, those Christian values are just so last year.
Here is where Ezra's fight with the HRC's comes to mind. The ALCU told the school that the class president couldn't speak because she is a known Christian and MIGHT say something religious. MIGHT????? Thought crime. Freedom of religion? Not so much. Disgusting. That is happening in the US, not Canada! No wonder the town halls are erupting. This profound change is going on because of lefty organizations like ACLU and Acorn, and lefty friendly media. I think change is happening, it's just not the change Obama anticipated.
Speaking of the HRC Lynch Mob....
Poor Jennifer had to make a taxpayer funded trip to Ireland to beg for lawyers to help her. She realizes that her credibility is nil, so she is asking lawyers, who have so much more credibility (HA) to take up the banner and fight for her organization, not the people who might be discriminated against.
Lawyers are the "most trusted" sources of information?? What is she smoking? Lawyers are below politicians on the trust scale. If the attacks are so wrong, why didn't she ask the lawyers to sue all those people attacking the HRC's? What misinformation? The HRC's are so quick to convict innocent people, they should have no problem convicting those 2000 people they have on their "hit" list. If they are righteous fighters of human rights, why are they unable to defend what they do? Why have they not sued Ezra for all the misinformation in his book "Shakedown"?
Thought so, if there was one wrongly placed comma in Ezra's book, they would have been on it like flies on poop. What this affirms is that the Lynch's of the HRC's have overstepped their bounds and are now begging anyone, even lawyers, to help them get out of the mess they themselves created. Oh, how the crass little kingdom builders have fallen...and they can't get up!
Maybe because I am reading the book, some articles have caught my attention that normally might not have twigged with me.
School prayer charges stir protests
Educators face jail in Florida
Students, teachers and local pastors are protesting over a court case involving a northern Florida school principal and an athletic director who are facing criminal charges and up to six months in jail over their offer of a mealtime prayer.
.....An ACLU official said the school district has allowed "flagrant" violations of the First Amendment for years.
"The defendants all admitted wrongdoing," said Daniel Mach, director of litigation for its freedom of religion program. "For example, the Pace High School teachers handbook asks teachers to 'embrace every opportunity to inculcate, by precept and example, the practice of every Christian virtue.' "
Yikes, teachers are asked to practice Christian virtue and that's BAD? Well, obviously we can't have teachers telling their students that stealing is wrong, that murder is wrong, or that helping those less fortunate is good. I mean really, those Christian values are just so last year.
...Mr. Staver said the district also agreed to forbid senior class President Mary Allen from speaking at the school's May 30 graduation ceremony on the chance that the young woman, a known Christian, might say something religious.
"She was the first student body president in 33 years not allowed to speak," he said.

Lynch told the gathering that opponents of rights bodies have successfully created a "chill" that makes it difficult for anyone to defend those bodies without also becoming a target.
Lynch, saying some criticisms have been "troubling" and "at times scary," also read out a graphic anonymous letter she received stating that she should be shot dead.
"I'm here to ask for your help," Lynch told CBA members, noting that academic experts, law school deans, and senior lawyers are among Canada's "most trusted sources of information" on public policy matters.
She urged them to write "letters to correct misinformation," encourage other experts to participate in the debate and promote public education of the role of rights commissions and tribunals in the justice system.

Enlighten Us All You Non Believers!
I am embarrassed to say I ever graduated from this institute of "higher learning". It was bad 30 years ago, it appears it has deteriorated even further through the years.
This is what passes for intellectual discourse these days:
University of Alberta may excise God from grad speech
I remember what a snob I was because I thought being in university made me better than those people staying on the farm to work. I remember how I was forced to listen to "Moonies" telling me why they were right and I was wrong. I remember having to sit and listen to a gay person tell me how his Mom dressed him up in girls clothes to model them for her clothes store. I remember how I knew I should feel enlightened, and as a small town girl, I just didn't understand why this should concern me at all, except to get a passing grade in an artsy course.
You see, I never got with the program because I never understood what the lefties were after. I could have cared less, I wrote them off as a weird crowd, and went on with my studies. It seems they are still at it, except they are not fringe groups anymore. The radicals we ignored 30 years ago, are now a force to be reckoned with because they are the vocal minority shouting over the silent majority.
Bigots???? Mentioning God makes us bigots?
Who is the real bigot here, who is being intolerant and a hypocrite? If you are so offended by a reference to God, refuse your degree, that will show us bigots. Better yet, refuse to take any public funding from Christians, pay the full bill for your education. Also do not work in a firm that might have Christian people working there, you might hear God mentioned! Do not build any bridges for firms that might have Christians involved, they might say "Thank God" when the bridge stands.
If you truly do not believe in God, then any reference to him should not worry you. Hypocrites talk out of both sides of their mouths; I do not believe in God, but any reference to God causes me to protest, because you should believe like I do. If you do not, you are a bigot.
So you don't believe in God, but you live in fear of a deity? Public institution, funded by who? Do any Christians pay property taxes? Discrimination? How about supporting the foundation on which this country was built, a Christian foundation?
I am ashamed that such a narrow minded person is getting any media attention, and as an alumni, I will not send anymore funds to the U of A, because obviously, my Christian money, is not wanted. Fine by me, I can donate more to my favorite charity instead, Dogs With Wings, they don't care whether I believe in God or not.
This guy is going to get a very rude awakening when he actually gets out into the "real" world.
Update: It appears an associate professor from Minnesota and his robots, have been freeping the Edmonton Sun poll. Wonder what all the anti-America U of A university students feel about that? Right, that's what I thought, you like Americans who support your views.
This is what passes for intellectual discourse these days:
University of Alberta may excise God from grad speech
In the speech, the chancellor urges those in mortar boards to use their newly granted parchments for "the glory of God and the honour of your country."
Bushfield said the reference is outdated and not reflective of recent national surveys that suggest one twenty-something in three doesn't believe in God.
"We want an inclusive convocation where everyone feels welcome and able to participate," said Bushfield.
I remember what a snob I was because I thought being in university made me better than those people staying on the farm to work. I remember how I was forced to listen to "Moonies" telling me why they were right and I was wrong. Upon reaching the gruelling end of a long and tiresome journey, students embark across a stage for the convocation. Yet, despite the movement toward multicultural inclusiveness and tolerance, this is one stage that keeps the flame of bigotry burning bright.
Bigots???? Mentioning God makes us bigots?
Main Entry:
big·ot Listen to the pronunciation of bigot
Pronunciation:
\ˈbi-gət\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
French, hypocrite, bigot
Date:
1660
: a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices ; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
Who is the real bigot here, who is being intolerant and a hypocrite? If you are so offended by a reference to God, refuse your degree, that will show us bigots. Better yet, refuse to take any public funding from Christians, pay the full bill for your education. A recent Canadian Press Harris-Decima survey suggests that around 36 per cent of Canadians under 25 don’t believe in a god. This means that when the chancellor issues his charge, he’s discriminating against all the students who disagree with the idea of living in fear of a deity. He also offends the senses of the majority who believe that a public institution should have no stance on religious issues. Atheism and agnosticism aren’t the only beliefs under attack— the idea of separation of church and state is as well.
So you don't believe in God, but you live in fear of a deity? Public institution, funded by who? Do any Christians pay property taxes? Discrimination? How about supporting the foundation on which this country was built, a Christian foundation?

This Is Going To Bug The Lefties
Easter is a very joyful time for Christians. It seems that others agree.
Pope baptizes prominent Italian Muslim
VATICAN CITY -- Italy's most prominent Muslim commentator, a journalist with iconoclastic views such as support for Israel, converted to Roman Catholicism Saturday when the pope baptized him at an Easter service.
As a choir sang, Pope Benedict XVI poured holy water over Magdi Allam's head and said a brief prayer in Latin.
"We no longer stand alongside or in opposition to one another," Benedict said in a homily reflecting on the meaning of baptism. "Thus faith is a force for peace and reconciliation in the world: distances between people are overcome, in the Lord we have become close."
Christians and Muslims are not far apart in their beliefs, as this baptism shows. It is interesting that he converted at Easter, a time of renewal. May he finally find a true home with the Catholic Church.
Why is his conversion more believable than Obama's? I guess for me it is because he was baptized by the Pope. I am sure many do not respect the Pope as much as I do, but compare him to Obama's preacher, then decide.
Happy Easter, and God Bless.
