When Yelling And Screaming Doesn't Work....

Try blocking and hurting legitimate members from the Copenhagen conference:

Lord Monckton barred from Copenhagen conference – pushed to the ground by security

Today the gloves came off and the true purpose of the “global warming” scare became nakedly visible. Hugo Chavez, the Socialist president of Venezuela, blamed “global warming” on capitalism – and received a standing ovation from very nearly all of the delegates, lamentably including those from those of the capitalist nations of the West that are on the far Left – and that means too many of them.

Previously Robert Mugabe, dictator of Rhodesia, who had refused to leave office when he had been soundly defeated in a recent election, had also won plaudits at the conference for saying that the West ought to pay him plenty of money in reparation of our supposed “climate debt”.

....So the dictators got standing ovations, and Lord Monckton gets roughed up:

Once again, conscious that a police helicopter with a high-resolution camera was hovering overhead, I thrust my hands into my pockets in accordance with the St. John Ambulance crowd-control training, looked my assailant in the eye and told him, quietly but firmly, to take his hands off me.

He complied, but then decided to have another go. I told him a second time, and he let go a second time. I turned to go and, after I had turned my back, he gave me a mighty shove that flung me to the ground and knocked me out.

I came to some time later (not sure exactly how long), to find my head being cradled by my friends, some of whom were doing their best to keep the police thugs at bay while the volunteer ambulance-men attended to me.

I was picked up and dusted me off. I could not remember where I had left my telephone, which had been in my hand at the time when I was assaulted. I rather fuzzily asked where it was, and one of the police goons shouted, “He alleges he had a mobile phone.”

In fact, the phone was in my coat pocket, where my hand had been at the time of the assault. The ambulance crew led me away and laid me down under a blanket for 20 minutes to get warm, plying me with water and keeping me amused with some colorfully colloquial English that they had learned.

I thanked them for their kindness, left them a donation for their splendid service, and rejoined my friends. A very senior police officer then came up and asked if I was all right. Yes, I said, but no thanks to one of his officers, who had pushed me hard from behind when my back was turned and had sent me flying.

The police chief said that none of his officers would have done such a thing. I said that several witnesses had seen the incident, which I intended to report. I said I had hoped to receive an apology but had not received one, and would include that in my report. The policeman went off looking glum, and with good reason.

The lefties have gone way out of control, and I'm not sure what will stop them. Are their brains wired wrong? They post contest pictures of our Prime Minister being assassinated, and the supposed leader of their party doesn't even have the balls to formally apologize. That shows they have no class. It shows the level that the Liberal party has fallen to, classless, immature and dishonest. Now, my parents are Liberals and they are none of those things, so I guess the Liberal party do not represent them that well anymore. This is not just a Canada thing, it's gone global. Like what happened to Lord Monckton, he was barred from the conference....so much for free speech, listening to other opinions, and being mature.

I want Prime Minister Harper, Minister Prentice and all other Canadian delegates, gone from that cesspool. The dictators get standing ovations, the "deniers" get denied access. Even Hitler couldn't have planned things better than the corrupt and useless UN, aided by the eco-nuts. Truth is no defense, our Human Rights Commissions yell. Climategate does not exist, the eco-nuts shout. This whole conference is about global governance and the "Robin Hood" myth. Take from the rich and give to the poor.

Even our wonderful Olympic torch run got hit by protesters in Toronto today. The Olympics, that wonderful spirit of sharing and competition is being used as a tool by the lefties. I guess some people hate Canada, because they see the torch run as a means to their own ends, not Canadian wishes.

Funny how different the coverage is on the protest:

TORONTO - The Olympic torch relay through Toronto didn't go according to the script Thursday evening when about 100 anti-Olympic protesters blocked a downtown street.

Officials took the torch by convoy to the Hospital for Sick Children where several torchbearers displayed the flame for cheering young patients gathered in the lobby.

Several runners who missed their chance to carry the torch (but the protesters didn't care) on the planned route passed the flame from torch to torch in the hospital.

Then we have this:

TORONTO • The planned celebration for the Olympic flame in Canada’s
largest city was briefly derailed Thursday night by hundreds of protesters who stormed up Yonge Street.

Protesters filled the streets shouting, “No Olympics on stolen native land” until they reached a barricade of officers with bicycles just south of Bloor Street. Dozens of officers with batons, along with at least six officers on horseback, blocked the street behind the demonstration. Delayed by nearly an hour, the Olympic flame was eventually diverted west along Wellesley Avenue as it continued towards its final destination, City Hall.

CTV wasn't very honest were they? Hiding facts? Why? They think Canadians are stupid. They think we only elected the Conservatives because the Liberals needed a short timeout. They do not see the rot in the Liberal party. The rot was exposed this week in both the Liberal party for their stupid contest, and in the UN with their money sucking scheme, to reduce the prosperous countries to third world countries so we can all be "equal" in the eyes of the socialists.

It is a sick, festering piece of pus filled lefties propaganda, aimed at those who can do, because of those who will not do. The pus needs to be lanced!

More Free Speech By The Lefties..

Or should I say greenies? Yesterday my post was about lefties yelling down a lecturer who was supposed to talk about life. They sang songs and yelled so that only they could be heard.

See this next clip, the greenies do the same thing, but they also throw veggies at the polar bear. They are only interested in their voices being heard. They are bullies. They just don't see themselves that way, they think they are saviours.

Watch the polar bear get veggied! This from the progressive, tolerant lefties. They know how to sing songs too, just like the other progressives on abortion.

It appears that they are getting some of their own right back at them:

Kate at SDA's has all the facts you want to know about Climategate and the missing Siberian data.

An excellent blog from the National Posts Kelly McParland.

The greenies and eco-nuts are losing and that is why they are protesting in Copenhagen. Just like our Liberals here at home, they are all about POWER and not listening to the people.

Well the people are starting to fight back, and the eco-freaks will go back to their lefty universities and lick their wounds and then find some other socialist scheme to try and impose on all of us. Hopefully they will grow up soon and learn to actually allow debate on issues. Especially those issues that involve taxpayer money.

Dopenhagen Protesters and Polar Bears.

I am sick and tired of lefty protesters and misinformation from eco-nuts. I applaud every fossil award that Canada receives, it shows we are not buying into the eco-nuts agenda. We have oil, lots and lots of oil, in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland, and we don't kill anyone to get it to market. We are blood free. Yet eastern Canada buys blood oil, they ship it on huge oil tankers across the Atlantic, and yell at Alberta for our oil sands. They look down their huge noses at Conservative Alberta, but they see nothing wrong with getting their oil from dictatorships. The eco-nuts target the oil sands and forget about the Saudi's and Iran...now there's a great example of human rights justice. NOT.

Do people in eastern Canada even realize that they are using oil from Iran/Saudi Arabia and not Alberta oil?

Ricardo Acuña, Executive Director of Parkland Institute, points out that “Albertans will argue that there is enough oil in the tarsands to supply for all of Canada’s needs well into the future, but unfortunately people in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces do not have access to that oil—it all flows south.”

Yup, you easterners are buying Saudi oil, not Alberta oil, yet Alberta sends over 8 BILLION a year to Quebec. How fair is that?

We get the fossil awards because the eco-nuts don't dare target China, a dictatorship or India. They get no money from those countries. They are eco-terrorists. Why are they all covering their faces?

The kids are running wild. I wonder who paid for all those protesters trips to Dopenhagen? Do they slurp up the caviar and then go out and protest getting there in their limos?

Hundreds arrested at Copenhagen protest rally

Hundreds of people were arrested in Copenhagen today after sporadic street violence broke out during a major protest march as UN climate change talks reached their halfway point.

The demonstration, organised to urge conference delegates to work out a binding deal to tackle climate change, was largely peaceful but was marred when a group of protesters threw bricks at police.

Nice, throwing bricks at police, maybe they should have thrown drowned polar bears instead!

Polar Bear Numbers Surge to 50-Year High, Obama’s Approval Rating Plunges to New Dismal Low

Yes, polar bear numbers have grown so much that discussion of culling to decrease their numbers is going on as I type; yet another stake into the heart of the truthfulness of the global warming hoax and the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade, climate change tax-Americans-to-death bill, which the US House barely passed last Friday.

There are 5 times as many polar bears today as there were 50 years ago:

I wonder if polar bears taste "gamey"? Would a polar bear coat be warm? Given that it is -30 below right now and set to drop even lower tonight, I'm willing to test out any fur coat someone gives me. Cotton just doesn't cut it in a deep freeze! Bring on the fur!

The eco-nuts want to kill any opposition to global warming, oops, climate change. Even Santa is at risk.

I hated that red haired guy, is he still around? Lefties, just a little deranged, they want to save polar bears, but they think humans should be able to kill their own kids.

UPDATE:
Sunday marked the coldest Dec. 13 in Edmonton’s history.

Environment Canada recorded a frigid -46.1 C, or -58.4 C with wind chill, at the Edmonton International Airport at 5 a.m., Environment Canada meteorologist Pierre Lessard said.

The old record of -36.1 C was set last year, he said.

“To break a temperature by 10 degrees is very exceptional,” said Lessard.

Climategate Picking Up Steam!

Nice, 64% vote for PM Harper. Make sure you add your vote.

I answered a phone survey today, from Harris/Decima. It started off about food outlets and organic produce, then asked about genetically engineered food, went from there to global warming and what Canada should do, support a binding agreement or not. One question was asked about who you would vote for, and then they got back to Copenhagen and whether you agreed with environmentalists. It was about 10 minutes long, and the interviewer chuckled a few times at my answers (she must have been a Conservative) and she thanked me for a very interesting interview. HA

So someone is doing some polling about Copenhagen before it starts. Not sure how the food outlets got in there but I suspect they are doing one call for more than one client.

That brings me to climategate. Ignore all you want Lame Stream Media, but the truth is now out there, and it has blown up in the faces of all econuts. Funny, they have gone from global cooling, to global warming, to climate change, to CO2 pollution. That's the new buzz word, CO2 pollution. I suspect that when the public doesn't buy CO2 as a pollutant, the greenies will just change it to ...pollution, and we will have come full circle. Problem is, no-one is going to believe anything environmentalists say from now on, they are done. They are now junk scientists, by their own hands.

The silent majority is listening and learning. The greens get maybe 8% of the vote here in Canada, yet the politicians in all countries are pushing this climate fraud on us, because it's all about money, not the environment. It's about power, and a new world government. Europe has moved one step closer to it, and if the power brokers can get a binding agreement in Copenhagen, that's another step towards more power for the UN. Think about who makes up the majority in the UN, it's not the wealthy Christian countries. Which poses the question, why are Democratic countries responsible for all the failed third world countries? Today, the Commonwealth nations agreed to a $10 BILLION a year slush fund for those nations at risk from global warming, what a scam! It reminds me of the First Nations in Canada who get $10 billion a year and somehow manage to remain poor. Or like our "have not" provinces, like Quebec, can somehow afford a $7 a day daycare, while "have" provinces send them billions.

The breaking point is coming, the silent majority is about to wake up. Middle class people who go to work everyday, and raise their children to be successful and responsible members of society are getting sick of the socialists stealing from us to enrich themselves. It's time to circle the wagons. No more Robin Hood.

TD BANK In For Some Serious Backlash!

I wonder why the TD Bank would get into the climate change issue with a report that was guaranteed to incite Western Canadians into a frenzy, and frenzy it will be. Do they not understand that Albertan's still remember NEP, that's why they will not vote Liberal. For a bank to get political, which is what they have done by paying for this report, is unCanadian. And Donald Drummond is responsible for this report. He requested it, the TD paid for it.

Mr. Drummond was curious about the regional economic impact of the Conservative government's plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 20% below 2006 levels by 2020, and commissioned a study to investigate. So far, so good.

His mistake was to ask two environmental groups, the David Suzuki Foundation and Pembina Institute, to author the report.

Oh, and this is hysterical:

"For anyone to insinuate retribution against a guy as neutral as Don Drummond...it's thuggery," said David McGuinty, the Liberal environment critic.

Mr. Drummond said that TD does not endorse the findings but neither does he think the results of the study were distorted. "We have an obligation to analyze economic matters that will affect our own business and that of our clients. We have always done this," he said.

Thuggery, HA! Hey McGuinty you Liberal crybaby, try this for neutral:

Drummond was once a senior economic adviser to former Liberal prime minister Paul Martin and is someone the current Liberal leader, Stéphane Dion, likes to cite in his speeches in favour of taking action against global warming.

Political hardball? No question. But as Drummond told CBC News, "it's all in the timeframe." If you accept the government's contention that to meet the Kyoto deadline of 2012, big cuts — equivalent to almost 30 per cent of our current greenhouse gas emissions — have to begin in 2008, and the only vehicle for those is a tax.

"This would not be the approach I would recommend," Drummond said. But other techniques would take time to implement, "and that's why I grudgingly accepted that if you are going to have that type of timeframe, which is incredibly tight, you are going to have to go with a very blunt [instrument], such as a huge increase in the carbon tax."

That is why he is not in favour of proceeding with the clean air bill as currently amended either, Drummond added. "I do want to see something done with the environment. [But] I think the economic impact would be so dire that environmental policy would be abandoned."

Yikes that is from CBC, the mouthpiece of the Liberal party, so it must be true!

The TD Bank financed Calgary-based Pembina Institute and Vancouver's David Suzuki Foundation to produce the comprehensive report. The group contracted with respected economic consultants, M.K. Jaccard and Associates Inc., to model the impacts of climate policies; Jaccard has done similar work for the Canadian government.

TD's chief economist, Don Drummond, said the bank has not endorsed any targets, though it has supported a policy of a national emissions cap. He said the bank's interest was to shed light on an area where there has been little informed debate: the likely cost of imposing regulations.

So, Drummond, a Liberal, who supported Dion's carbon tax, gets the TD to pay for this joke of a report by two of the most far left econut organizations in Canada, and the TD doesn't think that it will impact their business with oil companies, and us, the little people? Our money can walk right over to the nearest Alberta Treasury Branch or our Credit Unions. We had already transferred our mortgage to a Credit Union but now it's time for us little people to talk with our money.

This report stinks worse than a dog sprayed by a skunk. Try to get that smelly oil out of the dogs fur, it's very hard to do, but it's very easy for the skunk to spray that oil. That is what the econuts have done. They have fear mongered for over 20 years, and the oil is sticking to politicians, who think that we want our industry stopped because of CO2. What our politicians fail to understand is that we want REAL pollution eliminated not some airy fairy the sky is falling CO2 wealth transfer to third world despots who keep their people in poverty on purpose.

We just happen to have the NDP environment critic in Edmonton, Linda Duncan, she of the university minded, save our earth crowd, willing to kill thousands of jobs in Alberta, because she has a pension from the university already, and will get another one if she is elected again, a double dipping dipper. Wonder how the students studying the environment will feel about having NO prospects for jobs in Alberta, because we demand government funding of these eco-terrorists get cut off if the PC want to get elected again.

David Suzuki was probably kidding when he said Stephen Harper and Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach should be jailed.

No one is sure whether the UN was kidding when it recently named Tinker Bell -- yeah, Tinker Bell, you think I could make this @##% up? -- as an "Honorary Ambassador of Green" for children. But that's only because it's the UN.

Anyway, if you're wondering about the performance of the Kyoto accord, it's been a total disaster because it requires nothing of the vast majority of the world's nations when it comes to cutting their GHG emissions, including the world's number one emitter, China, and the number two emitter, the U.S.

The U.S., unlike Canada and Jean Chretien, was never stupid enough to ratify Kyoto, going back to the Bill Clinton-Al Gore administration. Yep -- Gore.

But, hey, don't think about any of that.

I urge you to call these hypocrites out, because they have a pair of deuces and we have a royal flush. We pay the taxes and they suck off of the goodness of delusional people who think CO2 is a pollutant.

How are all the econuts getting to Copenhagen? Canadian econuts should canoe to Copenhagen if they want any credibility. That is the problem, they have lost credibility and are now a laughing stock. I sense a funeral approaching, rest in peace global warming.

Oh, and TD Canada Trust, don't think we westerners haven't taken measure of you, and you should expect some reduction of deposits in the near future in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Just giving you a heads up.

Copenhagen, We Should Be Worried!

It sounds like the Copenhagen Agreement is way more dangerous than Kyoto ever could have been, even if it had worked. Hopefully Canada will stick to it's guns and not sign anything unless China and India are on board. Here is a YouTube clip from a speech given by Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic.

This goes hand in hand with this article from the National Post.

Climate 'debt' comes due

If Ottawa signs on to Copenhagen, the size of our resource-based export economy means Canada may pay more dearly for the UN's latest climate-change arrangement than almost any other country on the planet. And in the end, because it may only shift carbon-intensive production from cleaner countries to less-efficient ones, the entire exercise may do very little to limit emissions."The best thing we can do for the planet is get this Copenhagen process over with as soon as possible so that we can move on to real action," says Aldyen Donnelly, president of the Vancouver-based Greenhouse Emissions Management Consortium, an industry association aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions. If Canada does sign the treaty, she warns, we "will lose all control over our sovereignty and resource base in a matter of years."

Will lose all control over our sovereignty? This is exactly what Lord Monckton is saying in the video clip. This is not about global warming or climate change anymore, this is about one world rule.

I don't know about you but these two examples scare the heck out of me. The UN could be in charge of our world if western nations sign up for this new agreement. The same UN that panders to middle east countries, and allows corrupt dictators to take the podium and spout hate.
Here is the "draft" agreement, I haven't had time to read it yet, but I trust this site:

The Copenhagen Climate Change Treaty Draft – wealth transfer defined, now with new and improved “dignity” penalty

This comment says it all:

Imran (19:27:48) :

What you see is what this whole AGW smoke screen is all about. It has nothing to do with CO2 ….. and everything to do with some gigantic experiment in global socialism. It is about forcing the re-distribution of wealth.

Whilst this, in itself, may be a laudable goal, it completely ignores :
a) the creation of wealth as a function of individual creativity which always thrives from NO or LOW taxes
b) the historical lessons of the abject failure of such wealth re-distribution schemes in the past (eg. communism)
c) the lessons from history of corruption, nepotism and the subsequent human suffering that ALWAYS occurs when resources are just thrown at a problem. Just look at food aid programmes.

And the linking of this flawed ideology to the concept that hydrocarbon energy, which has been the engine of wealth creation in the west, is something environmentally undesirable, is a morally repugnant obscenity.

Emails to MP's about this should be sent as soon as possible.

STOP IT, Enough Already!

I will go head to head with Suzuki and I bet I come out greener then he is. So, when I read about the Kyoto scam that failed miserably and how they now want the new Copenhagen scam...I just have to yell...

STOP IT, Enough Already!

Alberta is set to spend over 3 BILLION on carbon capture technology...it's a scam! I want that money to go toward health care and cancer technology, not some feel good green initiative that does nothing to fight REAL pollution. Clean up our lakes and rivers, our air and our land. Farmers are paying $100 for a bale of hay right now, they can not afford to keep any livestock at those prices. Expect lower beef prices, good for us, not so good for our farmers. Yet we are going to spend 3 Billion on capturing C02, a substance plants love? Has the world gone mad?

STOP IT, Enough Already!

World looks to China at climate summit

The United Nations says China has taken the lead in tackling climate change, but Canadian Environment Minister Jim Prentice says the Chinese government has yet to set firm goals for cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

Chinese President Hu Jintao pledged at the UN Climate Change Summit in New York that his country would plant enough trees to cover an area the size of Norway, cut its dependence on non-renewable energy, and reduce its carbon pollution.

How many Norways does Canada, with it's thick woods, comprise? We drive for 10 hours between Edmonton Alberta and Kelowna BC seeing only trees, with the occasional small town. But, China is leading the way? Give me a break, the lefties are fawning all over Communist China, for planting a few trees?? Their population is in the BILLIONS, but a few trees should do it!

STOP IT, Enough Already!

Terence Corcoran: Growth first, climate later

In the great public policy battle between global economic growth and global climate change, the G20 is going for growth. And if growth trumps climate at the G20, that spells the end of any hope of a major climate agreement in Copenhagen in December.

Yikes, that isn't going to be very popular. Growth before eco-nuttery? That is just not politically viable, unless you are a lefty. We are told by the ultra lefty UN that we need to send massive amounts of funds to underdeveloped countries so that their dictators can fill their Swiss bank accounts, and climate change is the issue that makes everybody think they are protecting the planet? The people of Africa need those funds...too bad their dictators will never let them see a cent of that money.

STOP IT, Enough Already!

Sending aid to countries has not improved their situations. The UN insists that more aid in the form of global warming money will help them "come out of the dark", too bad, the people who really need the aid do not see it.

I am happy that PM Harper avoided the eco-love fest today. Let Obama carry the weight of environmentalism, he has already stated that energy costs will go up, dramatically, and he doesn't seem to have a problem with that, so go green Obama, lead us. HA!

When all is said and done, it is the worlds politicians who are trying to lead us down the socialist path, and I thank China and India for standing up against the eco-nuts, who want to bring world rule to the west. To PM Harper, thank you for staying away from the "global warming" issue, most Conservatives, especially those who work the land, understand that it is a huge wealth transfer from the productive to the unproductive countries.

So, I say once again, STOP IT, Enough Already!!
