Why Are All Lefty Males Dweebs?

Don't believe me? Look at this guy...seriously if he isn't a dweeb, who would qualify for that definition?

He comes to Canada, and isn't happy just telling us about our food deficiencies. He also spouts off about everything from climate change to a one world government. He is the face of oppression. He lives it up in Canada but forget about him going to India or China to spout his self important message. He is a typical leftist dweeb.

A boring, studious, or socially inept person

Canada is second to the US in supplying food to the hungry. This jerk is telling us that we are not capable of feeding our own people? If that is the case, than we should suspend all food shipments immediately. No more 250 MILLION in food aid.

The ladies are right, the UN has other countries with people actually starving and dying every day, maybe this dweeb should go there to see if he can help. HA!

Notice how the far left NDP leader, Munch, was more than eager to meet his fellow leftist dweeb. Two birds that flock together. The UN guy even had the audacity to tell us to raise the minimum wage. This guy is a serious threat to all Canadians, he wants a one party world and taxpayers are paying for his mistaken philosophy.

The taxpayer funded UN needs to go the way of the DODO bird.

Petty Bureaucrats And Their Kingdoms!

I understand that some foreign aid is necessary, but should it be politically motivated? Do you only give money to those countries that will support your country at the UN? Do you only support those countries that have the same values as your country? Should countries ruled by dictators receive any taxpayer funds? How do you monitor how your funds are spent? Should lefty activists hiding behind Christian organizations while supporting terrorist organizations be cut off?

The stink raised in the media about Bev Oda's "not" was a good indication of how lefty organizations use the media to cry about funding cuts. Fortunately these organizations are now going to have to become results oriented instead of just lobby groups looking to fill their pockets with taxpayers goodies.

Gone are the days when funding to foreign aid groups is automatic. Now that the Conservatives have a majority, I expect that these organizations will be looked at before they get any funding. I don't mind helping people who need it. What I do mind is organizations that have become parasites, sucking up taxpayer money for their own benefit, without actually helping any of the people they supposedly feel so bad about.

The US is in the same position, do they continue to throw money at countries that hate them?

Years ago, U.N. Ambassador John Bolton proposed cutting off all aid to the 30 nations who consistently voted against the U.S. in the UN. Before him, President Reagan's U.N. Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick proposed cutting off $1 million in aid for each vote an aid recipient cast against the U.S. in the U.N. In both cases, Bolton says the State Department overruled them.
"Foreign aid to a lot of countries could be readily cut and I think it's been a mistake by the U.S. government for decades not to take U.N. voting into account," Bolton said Monday.

So, it is the bureaucrats that have the power, not the politicians, that is why Bev Oda was put through the wringer. Petty government workers do not want their little kingdoms changed or challenged.  Let's change how Ottawa works, listen to the Ministers, not the bureaucrats. Give foreign aid to those countries that are working towards democracy and the rule of law. Cut off funding to dictatorships and countries that refuse to use the money to actually help their own citizens. Cut the funding, help our disabled first. The NDP should be happy with voting for that initiative.

Obama, Iggy Smart.

Canadians could have had an Obama smart Prime Minister if we would have only elected Iggy. We too could be losing friends daily. Like Israel.

“A lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed [land] swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.”

Does the guy understand what that would mean to Israel? The scary thing is that I think he understands clearly that Israel would not be able to defend itself, and that is what he wants. Palestine is not a nation, it is a refugee camp that none of the surrounding Arab nations want to have anything to do with. Israel is somehow the bad guy because during the war in 1967 they actually won and gained land, kind of like the US and Mexico. According to Obama, California should be given back to the Mexicans.

I am proud of Canada's firm stance with Israel. It cost us a seat at the UN security council, but I am shedding no tears about not getting the seat at that corrupt organization. Finally, Canada takes a principled stance in supporting a democratic nation, surrounded by enemies, thanks to PM Harper's leadership. After reading this article, I wonder how Irwin can remain a Liberal.

This past federal election was no different and one aspect of particular interest was the approach taken by the Liberals to once again try to falsify and demonize the record of Prime Minister Harper and the Conservative government on issues relating to Israel. This is especially important given recent events in which President Obama declared as U.S. policy a framework that is as pollyannish and dangerous as it is unworkable.
So offensive was the Liberal campaign tactic that I chose to reach out to correct the record by sending a letter to constituents in the riding where I was working for the local Conservative candidate.

This just highlights the sad state of the Liberal party and Democrats in the US.

Finally we can stand proudly with Israel and not have to apologize for our values. We can support a tiny nation that is under constant bombing from it's neighbours, who will not even acknowledge their right to exist. We do not have to follow what the US is doing, and we have staked out our position so that no country can doubt where we stand.

Shame on Obama for refusing to support Israel. He is making the US powerless, but maybe that is his goal.

Layers of Wrong.

Recently I blogged about the Somali community that refused to give information to the police about a murder. They actually blamed the police for not doing their job. One woman has been in Canada for 20 years and still doesn't feel that her community gets the respect she thinks it deserves. Immigrants need to adapt to Canada and Canadian laws, not the other way around. This one of those things we know is wrong, but don't know how to fix.

We actually have it good here in Canada, the only country we border is the US, and most US citizens who want to come here do so legally. The US has a bigger problem with their Mexican border, and have started building fences to keep illegal immigrants out of their country. That is their right. They should protect the sovereignty of their nation by any means they can.

Luckily we are not part of the EU. They have layers of governments now, and that's just wrong. Any person who makes it into a EU nation can move freely through any EU nation. Sovereignty is becoming diminished for all EU nations.

We have layers of wrong.

First layer, the elected country representatives
Second layer the unelected EU
Third layer the unelected UN
Fourth layer the unelected Human Rights Tribunals
Fifth layer the unelected special interest groups
Sixth layer the unelected powerful unions
Seventh layer, the unelected civil servants/bureaucrats
Eighth layer, the unelected environmental groups
Ninth layer, the unelected, usually illegal immigrants

I would like to say the tenth layer is the individual, but we don't count, we have no say, we have no power except our vote.

With every layer, more laws are needed and less freedom for the individual occurs. Greece can enact a law the people want, but the EU can over-rule it and if the EU doesn't the UN can strongly suggest it be changed. Countries have no real power to govern themselves anymore. That's a huge wrong for the individuals in that country. This needs to be corrected.

UN refugee agency warns on Greek anti-migrant fence

(Reuters) - The U.N. refugee agency voiced concern on Friday that Greece's proposed 12.5 km-long fence at its border with Turkey will shut out asylum-seekers fleeing violence and abuse in their troubled homelands.

The fence could lead illegal migrants, including people in need of international protection, to resort to even riskier routes with the help of unscrupulous human traffickers, it said.

So, the UN can tell countries how to protect their borders? Screw off UN, Soros and Strong! We will not bow down to your one world government dream, it's not in our best interests, only yours, you sick money hounds. Remember, you can't take your wealth with you to your grave, but you do take your lack of morals into the eternal world. I see an eternity of nightmares in your future lives.

So many layers of wrong, they tie our hands more everyday. The Tea Party has the right idea, unbind our hands, let us live free of parasites. The layers of wrong are designed to sap the blood, sweat and tears from the productive to give to the unproductive parasites and dictators of this world, like Soros and Strong, the power behind the elected dictators.

One of the biggest parasites is the environmental movement that Strong made money on. Kyoto was a scam from the get go, but the environmental puppets danced to Strong's tune because it meant millions/billions for their cause. A bigger scam has never been seen before. All those layers of what we know is wrong with our society, we need to address and quickly.

Dictators 1 Canada 0

I am very disappointed that Canada did not get a seat on the security council, not because I wanted us to, but because it shows how regressive the UN has become. What started out as an excellent idea for world peace has denigrated into a bunch of dictators and despots determining policy at the UN.

My lefty office mate laughed when I told him we had withdrawn, he actually laughed, that shows me the low level that lefties have stooped to. They are more interested in winning power, than supporting Canada. They prefer pandering to dictators and bringing Canada down, than actually supporting our government, elected by Canadians.

What no one seems to want to state as the real reason for Canada not getting a seat on the security council, is Canada's strong support of Israel. This would have been a serious problem to Iran, who is intent on getting nuclear weapons. We might have been the deciding vote to allow the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities. The Muslim countries have a majority, Canada had no chance of winning. Why we even tried is beyond me.

What lefties fail to understand is that Conservatives would prefer a principled stand on the world stage, instead of the Liberal ass kissing of the past.

As far as I'm concerned, let's stop all foreign donations to dictatorships, if, as the lefties tell us, our foreign policy is so wrong, we need to stop aid. I'm sure the NDP will back up new plans to build low income housing with all that saved money!

Could the oil producing Muslim nations be trying to marginalize Canada for their own monetary gains? Are they funding our "green" groups like Sierra Club or Pembina? I don't know, but if we had any real journalists left in Canada, they might write a great article about it.

I asked my hubby about losing the security council spot, he looked at me, and asked if this was something he was supposed to know about. That will be the typical Canadian reaction.

What saddens me most is that the UN has been taken over by countries who think stoning a women to death is a religious obligation. That honour killings are a cultural obligation, and that female's can't go to school or even drive a car. The feminists are strangely silent on this oppression of woman's rights.

This loss for Canada points out how corrupt the UN has become. I say, get out and save taxpayers money.

Arctic.....Everybody Wants A Piece!

I must admit I hadn't heard about the Arctic Counsel until Hillary blasted Canada for not including it in today's meetings, and with the same breath asked Canada to stay in Afghanistan. The US, making enemies of their friends, at an astonishing rate!

Clinton blasts Canada for exclusive Arctic talks

Ms. Clinton's bombshell, delivered in a prepared statement as she was meeting with Mr. Cannon and senior ministers from three other Arctic coastal nations - Denmark, Norway and Russia - cast a cloud over a meeting that was intended to show solidarity among the ocean's five shoreline states and highlight their "unique" position as chief guardians of the region's environment and resource riches.

"Significant international discussions on Arctic issues should include those who have legitimate interests in the region," said Ms. Clinton, "and I hope the Arctic will always showcase our ability to work together, not create new divisions.

"We need all hands on deck because there is a huge amount to do, and not much time to do it. What happens in the Arctic will have broad consequences for the earth and its climate. The melting of sea ice, glaciers and permafrost will affect people and ecosystems around the world," she said, "and understanding how these changes fit together is a task that demands international co-operation."

Well Hillary, good to see you didn't need a teleprompter to read your prepared notes, too bad you can't think about what is good for the Arctic, and it is not the EU! They banned seal, why should they be included in Arctic discussions? Also if you would look on a map, the only true Arctic nations are Canada, US (thanks to Alaska), Russia, Norway and Denmark. Why should Finland be included? Or Iceland, they are in the Atlantic, it appears India and China want in on our resources as well.

To many in the European Union - which was recently blocked by Canada and others from gaining even "observer" status at the Arctic Council because of the continent's ban on seal products - Monday's party-of-five brainstorming session represented a troublesome narrowing of polar interests at a time when the wider world, including China and India, is angling for greater involvement in charting the future of the circumpolar realm.

HA! At least Canada stopped the EU from gaining any status on the Council! Maybe the EU should think about their position... ban seal products worth about 2 million a year, or get your grubby little muckers on some Arctic oil?

Oh, Hillary, the Northwest passage is Canada's waters, NOT international waters, that's what this is all about isn't it? Band together with other countries so you get free sailing through our waters.

If you think that is bad, go to the Arctic Counsel's site and see how many organizations and special interest groups think they should have some say in what we do with our land!

The environmentalists have their sticky little fingers all over this Council.

There are six Working Groups of the Arctic Council:

* Arctic Contaminants Action Program (ACAP)
* Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP)
* Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF)
* Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response (EPPR)
* Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment (PAME)
* Sustainable Development Working Group (SDWG)

No working group on oil drilling? It's an environmentalists dream come true! No wonder only countries who actually have land in the Arctic Ocean were invited, look at just one of the lists of organizations:

Well, well, well, looky there, it's the WWF!! Who would have guessed? These are the organizations that want some say in the Arctic? PM Harper sure is right, if we don't protect it, we will lose it! Not to be left out:

That's right the UN! The snakes are all lined up in the grass, just waiting for the Arctic to melt. Too bad, it's going to get much colder before anyone is going to be cruising through the Northwest passage with anything but a nuclear sub!

Butt out of Canada's Arctic!

Canada Gets A Black Eye....

Not from those eco-nuts, but from one Diane Francis, who has two children, and she wants everyone else to only have one. Talk about an elitist, sucking on her martini after a hard day at slagging the commoners. She even made Fox news, which I am sure she would totally hate:

Glenn Beck also talks about global warming/climate change/climate diversification (that sounds very intellectual), HA.

Here is my take on this Copenhagen science. It's JUNK! SHOW ME THE DATA! Can't, good no more money for you!

Inconvenient truth for Al Gore as his North Pole sums don't add up

There are many kinds of truth. Al Gore was poleaxed by an inconvenient one yesterday.

The former US Vice-President, who became an unlikely figurehead for the green movement after narrating the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, became entangled in a new climate change “spin” row.

Mr Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.

In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”

However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.

“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”

Mr Gore’s office later admitted that the 75 per cent figure was one used by Dr Maslowksi as a “ballpark figure” several years ago in a conversation with Mr Gore.

The embarrassing error cast another shadow over the conference after the controversy over the hacked e-mails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, which appeared to suggest that scientists had manipulated data to strengthen their argument that human activities were causing global warming.

What does CTV post after Gore Apologizes? Look for yourselves, this has been up ALL night:

Let me make it clearer:

Do you see those wind chill warnings? Edmonton was the second coldest place ON THE PLANET...and I am supposed to buy into global warming? Not happening. The inconvenient truth is that Al Gore stands to make BILLIONS from the global warming scandal, just like the Oil for Food UN sponsored disaster. Just like global warming is a UN sponsored initiative. Anyone see a pattern happening here?

The UN is as corrupt and useless as global warming proponents. Al Gore and the bug guy are liars, plain and simple. Time to disband the UN, they are the useless nation.

Canada should stand proud, those of us freezing our butts off, know that climate changes, we are just hoping it's soon

and not a 100,000 years from now. This is the Rocky Mountains in July.

Hotter is good!

Copenhagen, We Should Be Worried!

It sounds like the Copenhagen Agreement is way more dangerous than Kyoto ever could have been, even if it had worked. Hopefully Canada will stick to it's guns and not sign anything unless China and India are on board. Here is a YouTube clip from a speech given by Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic.

This goes hand in hand with this article from the National Post.

Climate 'debt' comes due

If Ottawa signs on to Copenhagen, the size of our resource-based export economy means Canada may pay more dearly for the UN's latest climate-change arrangement than almost any other country on the planet. And in the end, because it may only shift carbon-intensive production from cleaner countries to less-efficient ones, the entire exercise may do very little to limit emissions."The best thing we can do for the planet is get this Copenhagen process over with as soon as possible so that we can move on to real action," says Aldyen Donnelly, president of the Vancouver-based Greenhouse Emissions Management Consortium, an industry association aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions. If Canada does sign the treaty, she warns, we "will lose all control over our sovereignty and resource base in a matter of years."

Will lose all control over our sovereignty? This is exactly what Lord Monckton is saying in the video clip. This is not about global warming or climate change anymore, this is about one world rule.

I don't know about you but these two examples scare the heck out of me. The UN could be in charge of our world if western nations sign up for this new agreement. The same UN that panders to middle east countries, and allows corrupt dictators to take the podium and spout hate.
Here is the "draft" agreement, I haven't had time to read it yet, but I trust this site:

The Copenhagen Climate Change Treaty Draft – wealth transfer defined, now with new and improved “dignity” penalty

This comment says it all:

Imran (19:27:48) :

What you see is what this whole AGW smoke screen is all about. It has nothing to do with CO2 ….. and everything to do with some gigantic experiment in global socialism. It is about forcing the re-distribution of wealth.

Whilst this, in itself, may be a laudable goal, it completely ignores :
a) the creation of wealth as a function of individual creativity which always thrives from NO or LOW taxes
b) the historical lessons of the abject failure of such wealth re-distribution schemes in the past (eg. communism)
c) the lessons from history of corruption, nepotism and the subsequent human suffering that ALWAYS occurs when resources are just thrown at a problem. Just look at food aid programmes.

And the linking of this flawed ideology to the concept that hydrocarbon energy, which has been the engine of wealth creation in the west, is something environmentally undesirable, is a morally repugnant obscenity.

Emails to MP's about this should be sent as soon as possible.
