I predict this is going to be a real problem for abortion advocates, especially in the US. Can Canada finally get an abortion law passed, after the Supreme Court bunted any law, any limits on how late you can have an abortion? What a travesty, SSM good, protecting our most precious babies, bad. Why, well, uhmmm, choice. Yup, you heard it, choice. Talk about lame.

What woman wants to choose to kill her baby? That's a choice? This isn't the 50's when unwed Mothers were looked down on, this is a country that accepts SSM and swinger's clubs. The NDP have a poverty bill in the house, they cry about all those poor children that need help, not a whisper about the murders of thousands of babies every year. The Bloq, don't they have a lot of Catholic voters, not a hint from those separatists about baby killing. Liberals, well they are the worse of a bad bunch, it's liberal judges that dismissed the idea that there should be any limits on abortion, look up partial birth abortion, they are perfectly fine with this brutal baby killing. I guess that's the P in progressive.

Now, with Baby Amillia, I hope things here in Canada will change. If that little one could make it, think of how many others might be alive today, if only the Mothers had actually realized that they had the choice, to choose life for their babies.

11th Commandment: Pardon Thy Criminals!

Today on CPAC, the question went something like this: "Should judges be politically appointed". Of course they had two lawyers on the panel. What amazed me was the spin those 2 put on the fact that PM Harper wants judges who would uphold the law and order bills that are before Parliament, if they ever get out of committee or the senate.

The callers, except for one NDP moonbat, all pointed out that the Liberals had appointed Liberal judges for decades. They also pointed out that the only change the Conservatives had made was to add a policeperson to the advisory committee. This was not right according to the lawyers, but it was okay to appoint people who had actively donated to and worked for the Liberal party, just not ones who had worked for or had anything to do with the Conservative party. They didn't even see what hypocrites they were being, but that's lefties for you.

I wish that one of the callers would have asked them about the 100,000 murderers, rapists, child molesters, etc, the parole board has let out since 2000.

So, the Conservatives add a seat on judges nominating committees for police and they are accused of corrupting the judicial system.

Liberals year after year appoint Liberal judges, that's okay. A prime example is Supreme court judge Abella, and her buddy Charron, both rabid feminists, appointed by Martin, who rammed SSM though the courts. But, that's okay, their Liberals.

Pardoning 100,000 criminals, well that's very Liberal too. As a matter of fact, the Liberals added one new commandment on us while they were in power, it reads:

Okay, 5 satellites were launched today under a project called THEMIS, to help scientists understand what causes the northern lights.

NASA is undertaking the mission to investigate what causes auroras in the Earth's atmosphere to change in appearance and dissipate. Discovering why the light of auroras can fluctuate and fade will provide scientists with important details on how the planet's protective magnetosphere works and on the sun-Earth connection.

So, we need 5 satellites to study the northern lights, how many satellites are being used to get data about climate change? sun-Earth connection? Well, well, so there is a connection? The sun somehow affects our climate? Who would have thunk it! I'm shocked.

Go to the site and read about substorms, yup, they are like earthquakes in the sky. Might this help to change our climate?

My question to Suzuki, the zoologist is, if they still don't understand the northern lights, and have no clue what causes them, how can the science be "closed" on climate change? Anybody?

New Blogger Sucks!

At least with the old blogger my posts would be rise to the top of the blogging tories site, but now I seem to be pegged between This Housewife, and Drewblog, never to rise above.

I have no chance to get on the main page, if my comments are pegged. Or, maybe my feed is not right. Not sure what the real problem is, but, what is sure is that, the new blogger, is worse than the old blogger.

One Guy Causes Huge Spike In Income Trusts

That' s what the Liberals want us to believe. A spike so high that it caused a RCMP investigation, during an election, was caused by one guy who bought some income trust shares. Yup, I believe that one.

They voted against the Kyoto God, who all opposition parties bow down too. Respect our commitments? After 10 years of doing nothing, we should now do what the Liberals were supposed to do? Do they think we are such idiots?

Okay, reduce the Senate gasses by lowering the heat in the Senate by 33%, see if any of them are awake enough to save themselves from freezing to death. Okay, I know that's not going to happen, but it would be fun to see them all bundled up in their Stanfields and mittens.

So, the Conservative have 60 days to produce a plan, well I have a plan that would only take a day.

Cut the oil and gas that Alberta sends to the east by exactly 33%, then we are in compliance with Kyoto. Oops, your cold? Sorry, we are complying with Kyoto. (I know, that's like the let them freeze in the dark comment)

Is the opposition really that stupid? They were whining today in question period about 2000 jobs lost, do they really understand that at least 1 million jobs would be lost if we paid Billions to China, and no GHG's would be reduced?

Bring on the election, as Dion sort of said, if I could have understood him, Canadians are not dumb.

The Committee selected the groups which were to testify before it. The score: 27 groups who opposed the cuts and a total of only 3 groups who supported the cuts, including REAL Women of Canada. Although REAL Women has extensive background knowledge about Status of Women funding, we didn't even make the initial selection. Only after extensive pressure was the Committee prepared to hear our views on the subject.

Well, there you go folks, fairness SOW style!

Those little piglets need to go to market next election, frankly, they are embarassing and doing nothing to actually help women in need.

Today I actually got control of the remote for about an hour so, I switched to CPAC, and got to watch the Status of Women Committee at work, if that's what they want to call it.

I was totally disgusted by the opposition's behaviour, questions, and lack of respect for women. They were very disrespectful towards the Minister, Bev Oda, but she held her own, and gave back better than they gave. That's the problem, the opposition was still oinking about the cuts to groups that were on the teat of government, and totally disregarded anything the Minister told them.

Frankly, they looked like idiots.

NONE of the opposition members talked about actually helping aboriginal women, all they did was bleat (I know pigs oink) about how activists could not get funds anymore.

Well ladies, raise funds, have a bake sale, oops, that would really be demeaning wouldn't it? If those activists were 100% supported by the federal government, they deserve to get their funding cut by 100%. If they can't survive, guess noone wants to hear whatever message they didn't have for women.

I was impressed with Bev Oda, she did a great job against a bunch of feminists who had burned their bras years ago, and I suspect wish they hadn't. Sag on ladies!

As a woman, I want to see young girls being helped to get off the street, but not the opposition, they could careless about those young ladies. How do I know? Not one opposition member thanked Minister Oda for giving funds to an organization that is doing exactly that, helping young girls.

OINK, that's all I heard from the opposition. They appear to be so stuck on getting funding back for their friends that they can't see that real women are at risk.

Lefties talk big about helping the underdogs, but they fall far short. Just like they will not support Afghanistan, even though girls were banned from education.

Global Warming, Or Maybe This?

I read about Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet, years ago when I was in university, some of his predictions intrigued me at the time, and frankly, they still do. In the book I read about him, one of the chapters that really caught my attention was the one about future earth changes.

He predicted that a minute rotation in the axes in the middle of the earth, would slowly make it's way towards the earth's crust, where there would be major "climate changes", except he called them "earth changes".

Here is a quick overview of who he was, and some of his predictions.

"There will be the upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and there will be the shifting then of the poles -- so that where there has been those of a frigid or the semi-tropical will become the more tropical, and moss and fern will grow.

So, because of a shift in the poles, the cold climates will become more tropical? Sounds like global warming to me. Aren't the poles magnetic?

But now scientists have made a startling discovery: it seems there’s a storm brewing deep within the Earth, a storm that is weakening our vital magnetic shield. Peter Olson at Johns Hopkins University explained that “the Earth’s magnetic field has been our protector for millennia, and now, it appears, it’s about to go away.”

Okay, is this any less likely a reason for climate change, then say, man made greenhouse gasses? I don't know, but it appears to me that this is not solved, the discussion is not over just because a majority of scientists have reached a "concensus". Since when is science about "concensus", what happened to the idea that science should be based on facts?

To my mind, Cayce's predictions are just as believeable as our current crop of scientists, who are motivated by politics and money. Al Gore and Suzuki come to mind.

Stephen Harper's government has been the least welcoming to women since the bad old days. And the bad old days weren't so long ago. Before 1982, rape victims still had to provide their sexual histories in court and the Supreme Court did not have a single woman Justice. Status of Women Canada only became a federal ministry in 1976, and until 1981, it was run by men. I grew up absolutely confident of my rights as a woman. I am no longer so sure. Younger women should brace themselves.

Well now PM Harper is getting blamed for things that happened in the 80's? Okay, explain to me how Stephen Harper had anything to do with the Liberals, you know, the natural ruling party, in suppressing women's rights, you know, the ones in power at the time?

Here's proof. Proportionately, the Conservatives have the fewest women MPs of any party. They have 11 per cent while the Liberals have 20 per cent , the Bloc 33 per cent and the NDP 41. Harper's cabinet has fewer women (six of 26) than Mulroney's did in 1992.

Proof of what? Did you forget to mention that the Conservatives have the most culturally diverse members of all parties? Oops, guess you missed that one. Most importantly, why should females get a free ride? If they are idiots, it doesn't matter, as long as they are females? That's what gives blondes a bad name. Shame on you. A MP should be qualified to do the job, they should not get in because they are female.

No one points out that Rona Ambrose's replacement, the new Environment Minister John Baird, has become obese, the fat forcing its way up his big neck and squeezing his eyes almost shut. It's okay for a man to be fat, public death for a woman.

Nasty, nasty, you won't admit that you hate Rona because she is beautiful. She's a "failed" Minister because you media woosies can't stand to look at a beautiful intelligent women being successful, so you bitches shut her down didn't you? In Support Of Israel!

Paul Martin was a total wash when it came to supporting anyone, I hate to think what the liberals would have done in the same situation. Lebanese Canadians would have still been waiting to get rescued.

Yes, I am enjoying this Conservative government, they are busy getting things done, and supporting Israel is important. Now, will the Jewish people vote Conservative? Too bad, I think not. I hope I'm wrong.

UN Declares Kyoto Dead!

New UN agency to manage environment.

The new agency would transform the existing UN Environment Program, into “a fully-fledged international organization that is genuinely universal,” French President Jacques Chirac told delegates to the Citizens of the Earth conference, which was organized by his government.
“We know that humans are destroying, at an alarming rate, resources and balances that have enabled them to evolve and are determining their future,” he said. “We must admit to ourselves that we can no longer afford to be idle and that the risks and dangers are exacerbated with each passing day.”

So, the Kyoto money grabbing scheme didn't work, let's try another. NOT going to happen. The western world is finally realizing the UN is useless.

He also called for an international declaration that would make the right to a sound environment a universal human right.

This is really worrying, it's going to be a human right? My God, how are they going to monitor that, when the UN refuses to tell China that they are abusing human rights? They allowed millions to be killed in Rawanda, and they are doing nothing about Darfur? The environment is more important human lives? Okay the socialist/communist countries might like this, anything that restricts our freedom, is what they want. I sure hope Canada does not sign on to this garbage, it's worse than Kyoto.

Chirac is totally off the wall. I bet the European nations signed up, they are going downhill so fast, they are desperate to get an infusion of cash anyway they can. Now that Kyoto has failed, they are worried, their carbon trading market is tanking, because the targets were a fraud. Go ahead and slap some taxes on Canada and the US, we don't need Europe. Our Canadian wines are just as good, if not better than French wines.

Other than that, what do we actually buy from them?

Polar Bears!

Kyoto, A Socialists Wet Dream!

Ask people if they are concerned about the environment, most will say yes. Ask them if they are willing to pay at the pumps with $2 gas, most will say no. Easy, I can get any result I want depending on how I word my questions.

So, is Kyoto a socialists wet dream? Of course, it's Robin Hood all over again, steal from the rich and give to the poor.

Media is in full steam about this issue, they are pulling out all the stops hoping that Canadians are dummies. Well we aren't, and the MSM thinks they can change our opinions. No, sorry to tell the MSM, they are only preaching to the converted, Kyoto is a God crowd. Not going to fool me.

We will not take years to think about it, we will have one vote and we will be gone. We have no debt, we owe Canada no debt, we send over 18 BILLION a year to the rest of Canada, we have all the resourses, we have no socialist programs dragging us down, we can actually survive without being a part of Canada. Can you? A have not province that won't get off it's butt and actually work for a living?

What started this rant, question period. Duceppe started it with a question about the federal government meeting with oil companies to expand the oil sands, it was the LIBERAL government that set up that meeting, but Gillyfish couldn't seem to understand that. So what, if Alberta wants to expand it's oilsands, what the heck does Quebec have to do with our decision? Sorry Quebec, oil is a provincial responsibility, not federal. We have never had a smog day, so who are the polluters? Next up, some shrill female yapping about how Quebec was having to pay for Alberta's pollution. What a hypocrite, they whine that they are not getting enough in transfer payments, but they want taxes slapped on oil polluters. Sure, kill the golden goose, just like last time with the Liberal NEP, good idea. Manufacturing is tanking big time in Ont and Que, the only thing keeping Canada alive is the west, but your greed knows no bounds does it?

I was happy that PM Harper got up and called her on that one. They want our money, but they want to tax us extra too. Not going to happen shrill lady. Give your head a shake, you keep this up, your gravy train is gone, Conservative government in power or not, Alberta has the balls to leave, not like the Frenchies, clueless and no guts. The Bloq is a useless party that can not accomplish anything for Quebec, unless Quebec realizes this next election, Alberta will challenge your right to be a province in Canada. If you don't want to leave again, (we are getting very tired of your threats) we will.

You like your socialist programs, who will pay for them if Alberta leaves? Ontario can't afford you on there own. They would be supporting most of Canada.

Kill Kyoto!

Lefties love Kyoto, because it is an international agreement, but an agreement to what? Noone is asking that little detail. Well it boils down to a money grab. Send taxpayers money over to Russia/China for no reduction of GHG's. Well that's real lefty thinking, oh sorry, they don't really think do they?

Well, I suggest that the Conservatives ask Canadians what social program they do not want to fund so that they can send that money to Russia, in support of Kyoto. Should we spend less on healthcare? How about no more money for childcare, or pensions? Maybe we should raid the EI accounts, they have a surplus.

That's the problem with lefties, they want all their socialist programs but they don't think about how to pay for them. I know, let's slap a carbon tax on Alberta, oops that's been tried once before, it was called the NEP, it killed not only Alberta's economy, but Canada's as well. Okay, bet the NDP want to get back at Buzz for abandoning them during the last election, let's hit the auto industry with a tax, good idea, just when the auto industry is laying people off left and right.

So, come on lefties, you want Kyoto, you tell me how to do it, without killing the economy.

even animals protect their own. I was watching the program, and in every case, the Mom or the Dad tried to protect their babies. Too bad we humans aren't that motivated.

We feel we can kill our babies, because it's our "choice". We ignore the dying in Afghanistan, because we don't actually SEE it. We drive our cars into a car wash, never thinking about how that fresh water would be appreciated in Africa. Think about not having power, ever. You know the power you need for your computer, TV, and all the other toys.

In the wild, only the strongest survive, in our society, only the socialists make sense, or so we are told.

Alberta Is The Rising Tide! Hang On To Our Tail, We Will Make Canada A Rising Tide Too!

Williams, the colourful premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, did joke that he had an army of his people in Fort McMurray and Yellowknife set to take over the country, but he said that for now his province just wants a piece of Alberta’s hot economy.
He noted that the Atlantic provinces have significant expertise, low wages and the capacity to help Alberta companies with services and products they require to meet their own contracts.

“Your economy is over-heated and it needs the services,” he said.
He stressed that the four Atlantic premiers are visiting Alberta to help out with the boom – not to hinder it by trying to lure the labour force home.
“The rising tide lifts all boats in other provinces,” he said. “Alberta is the rising tide and we want to be part of your wave.”

One thing they could send us is LOBSTER! Also, scallops and shrimp and mussels. You know, seafood.

It was wonderful to see Premiers here not whining about fiscal imbalance, but talking about trade. Why is it easier to trade with the US than it is for us to trade with other provinces? I like the new agreement between BC and Alberta, it will encourage trade within provinces.

So, let's think about this, more trade between provinces, makes every province stronger. Why wasn't it happening before? Too much federal government interference, it took power away from provinces and divided the country, as every province tried to get the best deal for themselves.

We are happy that the Atlantic provinces are sending us such hard working people, they fit right into Alberta, I know, I married a PEI'er. He's been here for over 20 years and still misses PEI, mainly because his whole family is there. We were going to move there, but, the job situation was bleak, there was no way we could have the same standard of living there, and most importantly, our children would have better opportunities if we stayed in Alberta.

The Premiers have got to start understanding that the Conservatives are offering them more power than they have ever had before. A smaller federal government, one that doesn't interfere in their areas, means a more powerful provincial government.

So, hang on to Alberta's tail, don't get too ecocrazy, if you do, you kill the golden goose, just like last time Alberta was booming, and the Liberals imposed the death sentence on us, the NEP. You see how well the Liberals do in Alberta? It's still because of the NEP, try another one like it, by pretending it's all about the environment, say goodbye to Alberta. As a born and bred Albertan, I can gaurantee it.

That's why the four Premiers visiting was so encouraging, they seem to understand that Alberta will do everything it can to send companies in their provinces all the work we can, because Albertan's, want Canada to do just as well as they do.

All the Atlantic workers make our province a much better place to be, I'm sorry some are so far away from their families, I know it's hard, but you are doing what you can to give your families a better chance in life, and that's what it's all about, family.

So far I have the media at one for the all out war on the newest theme: THE ENVIRONMENT!!

Just over a year ago, on January 4 and 5, only 4 per cent of Canadians specified environment as the most important issue.
In contrast, 25 per cent put health care at the top of the list.
By last week, however, 26 per cent of survey respondents listed the environment as the top issue, dropping health care to second place with 18 per cent.

So, because of the media using "the sky is falling" type articles, daily, and also because the economy is doing so well (nothing to do with oil and gas, they tell us, but watch the markets, when oil is down, so is the TSX), people really are buying into the media's hysteria.

Okay, time for the other side, Canadians to get to work. Not the government, Canadians. We have decided that the environment is a major concern. So, what are you as a Canadian going to do about it? Take the bus? Turn down your heat in the middle of winter? Recycle? Compost? Reuse? What?

HA, I thought so. You are going to cry to the government about Kyoto, aren't you, yes you are, because the media has told you that Kyoto is THE solution!

Well, take a look at your kids, one of mine has asthma, so I watch him closely. How will buying carbon credits clean our air, water, and land? How will sending BILLIONS of dollars to Russia or China, make our environment cleaner?

Simple answer, it won't.

Let's keep our taxpayers money right here in Canada, let's create a better solution right here. Say yes to Clean Air, Say NO to Kyoto.

Dion's Speech Today, I Can't Find It Anywhere!

Okay, this morning I was getting my kids ready for school, and heard that Dion would be broadcast live, I got busy, and never saw it. I checked for it on CTV this evening, it's not there. They have a baby blurb about:

Poor Liberals, how are they going to run an election with this guy when they already have the media hiding his speeches?

On the other hand, Prime Minister Stephen Harper gives an awesome speech on the Conservatives first year anniversary. CTV has that one on video.

I noticed that they changed the title though, it went from "Conservatives mark first year in power" to "Harper says Tory gov't not fully embraced yet." Thought we wouldn't noticed that did you CTV??

I do have to give CTV credit for their posting of videos, except suspiciously a Dion speech, makes you go HUMMMM!!!

It was bad enough that Dion accused Albertans of living fast on the "easy" money up north once, but he does it again this time on CBC (I know, I shouldn't be watching but we need to know what the opposition are saying and CBC is so Liberal, they can be counted on to let us know).

Thursday, I'm watching Don Newman, and he's talking to Dion about his bloated shadow cabinet, and believe it or not, Dion is yapping about the oilsands, and he repeats the "easy" money comment.

Well Mr. Dion, if that money is so easy, you go work on the rigs, see how long you last! I would give your soft little academic hands about 4 hours before you cry "uncle". If that doesn't work out for you, please feel free to try those soft hands at farming, watch out though, you will get arrested if you try to sell your own wheat, and you won't like jail!

Dion, stay out of Alberta's business, and I promise to stay out of yours by not voting for you. Both of us will be happy.

Climate Change, Yup Can't Argue With That!

Is the climate changing, for sure, yes and absolutely. It's a fact I can support, just like PM Stephen Harper can support.

Now ask me if a can support global warming. No, I can not believe that CO2 is dangerous, my plants love CO2, they love me back with oxygen. Now, today I was stuck behind a bus, the fumes made me lightheaded. So, my rule is, if you can smell it, it's pollution.

It's easy. Sniff, and tell. I sniff for CO2, nothing! I sniff for CO, yup, smells bad, it is bad!

So, I figure, PM Harper has got it right, watch for lots of climate change talk, no Kyoto talk. He knows that we want change, but not at the expense of our wallets.

Funny how Global National had no coverage of our PM's introduction of a $1.5 Billion ecoEnergy program. If the environment is so important, why no report on the Conservative incentive? DUH, bias maybe?

Okay so we've gone through global cooling, global warming, and we are now talking climate change, next up is global dimming!! You heard it here first folks!

What's That? A Rat?

Alberta is rat free, or it was until Dion came to town. The Rat left a stink behind here in Alberta that will rival PET's hated NEP. Make no mistake, Dion was playing to the east while slagging us redneck Albertan's. What Dion is proposing for Alberta is a new and improved NEP II. Hold on to your wallets Alberta, if the Liberals get back in.

Us knockle dragging Albertan's can't understand how we are killing the planet by releasing CO2 and using water to do it. Bad, bad Albertan's, we are only interested in making "easy" money in the oilsands. Shame on us! Don't you know that the planet is being threatened by "climate change" or is that "global warming"? We might even believe a scientist, one who's not obviously hired by the oil industry.

We don't flush raw sewage into the ocean, or the North Saskatchewan river like some provinces do, we have a world class recycling plant, we have wind energy, and solar energy. We want to reduce pollution, but we refuse to send our tax dollars to China so we can bow down to the Kyoto god.

Kyoto is a liberal god, if you thought the Liberals were bad when they were caught taking money put into brown bags, expand that to Kyoto, except it is BILLIONS in that brown bag. Money that your kids and grandkids will never see. Kyoto will make China and Russia more prosperous on the backs of our labour, and our children.

Choose your Canada! Choose wisely, or Alberta will opt out.

CO2 Out, Oxygen In

I'm hearing about how CO2 is bad, how the oilsands are big polluters, oops, CO2 emitters. The other side of the story is how bad is oxygen?

If too much CO2 is bad, then too much oxygen must be bad too! So, I want a scientist to tell me how much oxygen is being released into the atmosphere. If our forests are exuding too much oxygen, we need to know about this new threat. This is a serious matter, too much oxygen could cause us all to get light headed, disoriented, and we might vote liberal.

Here's a question for all those environmentalists out there, if the oilsands release 500 mega tons of CO2 and our forests release 500 mega tons of oxygen in return, are we even?

Why does Toronto have smog, but Alberta, the bad, bad, polluter, have none? Why are our lakes and rivers drinkable, but Ontario's, not so much? Could it be that Albertans are more concerned about our environment and so we don't pollute as much? Edmonton has a world leading recycling plant, Toronto, not. We have been recycling, composting for years, Toronto is still shipping it's garbage to the US. A person in Toronto that I talked to recently, refused to wash her tin cans and recycle them, she was not willing to waste her time washing cans and recycling them, we've been doing that for years. But it's Albertans who are at fault, we are the big bad environmental meanies? Give me a break, we are more advanced than Toronto by a long shot, but the MSM won't report that, why should they, everyone already knows that redneck, gun loving Albertans are so backward that we don't even know what CO2 is let alone how to recycle.

Why does Dion call us milk cows, when in reality the east milks us for everything we have, and wants more.

So, tell me, if we release CO2 into the atmosphere, how much oxygen do our forests produce in return? Quebec is busy flooding acres of forest to produce more electicity, but no environmentalist/biologist/or any other ...ist, has protested. Why not?

Mom, Does The Principle Have You On Speed Dial Yet?

My youngest son cracked me up this morning, with this question:

"Mom, does the Principle have you on speed dial yet?"

With a semi-straight face, I responded, "luckily not quite yet, but don't push it!" It was a legitimate question as just before Christmas I volunteered for Santa Day, and went to the office to tell them something, and guess who was in the principles office? Yup, you guessed it, my son. It turned out that he was the victim and not really in trouble, but that's not always the case.

I am so blessed to have two wonderful boys, it's a huge responsibility, but totally worth it. I started thinking about how wonderful having children has been for me.

Growing up in a small Alberta town, I aspired to more than marrying the boy next door and starting a family, so after graduation, I packed my bags and headed to the big city to get my degree. During my university years I took a lot of fluff courses, like social studies of women, modern dance, and one that made no sense to me, philosophy. Still I got my degree, went out into the big bad corporate world and made my mark, a small one but even back in the 70's, I found no discrimination against me, as a female.

I worked, got married, and insisted that I preferred dogs to kids anyday! HA

I was petrified of childbirth.

Then my clock started to tick, I had to think long and hard about having children. I got over my fears and hubby helped with the getting pregnant thing, and I loved every minute of being pregnant. No morning sickness, nothing but a special glow, and a feeling that is so special, only women can really understand it, that's why women have more than one child.

I was considered high risk because I was 36. My doctor wanted me to go through a battery of tests, some that can cause a miscarriage, I said no, and today I am glad that I did, because I would have never forgiven myself if one of those tests had caused me to lose one of my sons.

A small town girl, goes to the big city, gets her degree, and what it all comes down to, is that family is the most important part life.

I feel sorry for those bitter feminists, and anyone who has felt that abortion is a solution, it isn't, the solution is family, and morals.

So, my littlest scamp goes to the principles office quite often, but he makes my heart sing. God has blessed me.

Right now, we are under a blizzard warning, which is funny because Dion is here in Edmonton tonight. Okay, Dion, explain global warming to me again?? My igloo will melt you say? Polar bears are in danger? And we can fix that by sending our tax dollars to China??

What Is The Purpose Of A Blog?

Lately it seems to me that blogs are losing the original purpose I thought they had, or I'm doing this blogging thing all wrong.

I thought a blog is like a daily journal, you write in it about what concerns you, you express your feelings about what is happening, what is ticking you off, or making you laugh.

Now, it seems that you must quote a news article and then wait for your cyber friends to comment. Or you find a blog you disagree with and slag it, or you try to make news by getting a "scoop". The MSM is still driving blogs, not the other way around, blogs are not making the news, they are reacting to the news.

So, is the original idea of blogs changing, or am I just wrong about the purpose of blogs? Blogs seem to be getting less about personal feelings and thoughts, and more about taking a news story and picking it apart.

Blogs should be more personal, not less, they should give you a feeling about the person writing it, a sense of who they are, what concerns them, why they feel the way they do about an issue. Sure quote an article if it helps your argument, but don't just link to the article without any comment, that doesn't give anyone a feel for whether you agree with the issue or not.

Blogs are great, I read them more than I do the media, but when everyone is blogging about the same article, it gets repetitive.

Immigrant Votes, Coming Our Way!

The crossing of Khan is only the latest indication of where the immigrant vote is going, and it's coming our way, big time. He must know that from talking to his voters, they are ready to change, after years of being ignored by the Liberals.

During the last election, I did some door knocking for my MP, I noticed the Chinese in particular were talking about switching their vote to the Conservatives. They could smell change in the air.

I was worried about Rahim Jaffer, he was faced with the University of Alberta students voting in his area. The NDP actually thought they had a chance of winning his seat. He won, thanks to his strong organization, and the immigrant vote.

So, with the Conservatives apoligizing for the Chinese head tax, rescuing the whiny Lebanese, and supporting the democracy of Israel, the immigrant voter is looking towards the Conservative party.

One of the most important reasons that immigrants will find to vote for the Conservatives is their respect for the traditional family. It's not just the $100 a month for children under 6, it's for their stand against SSM, abortion and their desire to make criminals actually pay for their crimes that will win the immigrant vote.

Too many immigrants have come from countries that oppressed them, they see the Liberals for the crooks they are, and see the Conservatives as the best alternative.

Khan knows all this, he has been consulting his people, he smells the winds of change as well.

Rona Future Prime Minister!

I will have to save this post so I can taunt all the naysayers, but Rona will be our Prime Minister, given time.

She has class, smarts and most importantly the Liberals and MSM hate her. That alone makes her a sure bet when Stephen Harper steps down, hopefully about 10 years from now. She did her job as environment Minister, she got people to realize Kyoto was about a wealth transfer from our kids to corrupt dictators. She did the heavy lifting, told the truth and paid the price.

Rona will be the next Conservative Prime Minister, maybe only after the Liberals win again and screw up as they always do, but she has what it takes.

Judges making law.

Two Moms and one Dad are parents? Two camels, one kangaroo, and one kid? I feel so sorry for the little boy in all of this.

If I'm not mistaken, a judge just made a new law, I thought that was Parliaments job, not a judges job. The family is clearly under attack, and this judge needs to be slapped down for stepping out of bounds.

How did SSM get passed? Judges. How do killers get released from prison? Judges. How do teens get house arrest for killing someone? Judges.

The Supreme Court, is anything but supreme, they have made a mockery of justice. Swingers clubs are legal because the supreme court of Canada ruled that they were okay. Guess the judge who likes nude cruises voted for that one. She has no morals, and is trying very hard to make sure the rest of us don't either.

Sorry, but SEX does not rule my life, it's too bad that it rules our supreme court judges, it makes me sick. These judges should be above politics, they should be above SEX, they should have some class, sadly they don't.

I have an uncle who was a judge, he was tough, and I respected him for it. Respect is sadly lacking with our supreme court judges. A nudie will never get my respect. She should join Bob Rae and skinny dip into obscurity.

My New Year's Resolution....

get more active to help stop abortions.

Why do we as a society allow this to happen? I have heard all the lefties arguements on this issue. So, let's look at the two main arguements:

1. It's a women's choice, take that away and we will be back to the back street abortions of old, with women dying.

Okay let's look at those bad old days. Society frowned on young unmarried girls who got pregnant, yet most opted to have their babies and were better for it. Society now finds nothing wrong with unwed Mothers, it was the unwed Mothers who changed societies opinion, not the women who killed their babies by having an abortion. You see, noone knew that those girls had killed their babies, but they did see the unwed Mothers with their children. It is the courageous unwed Mothers that we should be applauding, not the women who killed their babies because they were afraid of what society might say about them. Feminists can't see that, they think they are the ones that changed things, they did not.

Today, we have something that the women back then didn't have, it's called birth control. Why do 100,000 babies still need to be killed in Canada in this day and age? Stop funding abortions, watch the numbers decrease.

2. A women who is raped should be able to have an abortion.

Okay, let's look at that oft used feminist point. How many women are raped in Canada in a year? Looking at some StatsCan numbers, sexual assaults are 70 in 100,000. Of those how many would actually get pregnant?? That's the number noone mentions. So, let's say 700 women who get raped, also get pregnant, that sure doesn't add up to the 100,000 babies killed in Canada.

Let's just face the facts, people who believe abortions are okay, are immoral, and they want the rest of us to be dragged down to their level. It's funny how when a feminist wants to be pregnant, they call it a baby, when they don't it's a blob or fetus. Also, forget about the rights of the father, they do not exist.

We need to stop funding abortions. Why should I as a taxpayer be forced to pay for the killing of babies?

It's funny, the lefties are yelling about the hanging of a butcher like Saddam, saying he didn't have a fair trial, but it's okay by them to murder innocent babies.

The Best!

It's been the best year, because the Conservatives are in government and doing a great job.

We have a Prime Minister who is going to go down as the very best PM in our history. The opposition can not even come close to our PM, even my Liberal Mom thinks Dion stinks.

We have a man of principle, morals and he's tough enough to do what needs to be done, not for votes, but because it's the right thing to do, for Canada.

All the Conservative MP's are doing a great job, but they would be doing even better with a majority.

Let me be the first to predict a majority for the Conservatives next election. That's not just my New Year Eve's wish, it's the smell in the air, it's true Canadians feeling proud of our government, it's Canadians who voted for change, liking that change. It's a government who is listening to real Canadians about their very real concerns.

Go Prime Minister Stephen Harper, you have my support, your doing a great job and people are sitting up and taking notice. Even my Liberal Mom!

What A Year It Has Been!!

We are climbing out of the dark into the Conservative light, and even some Liberals are liking it!!

Well except maybe Robert Fife at CTV. I thought PM Harper did a great job of being positive without making the opposition look like the cry babies they really are, so, good interview, very strong message by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Now, I know that CBC did an interview with our PM, but, can't find it anywhere on their website. Has it not aired yet? I was busy with Christmas, so I either missed it, or it is yet to come, not sure which, but in any event, CBC's website sucks big time.

How do I know that some Liberals are liking what the Conservatives are doing? Well, it's a small sample, but my VERY Liberal parents are going to vote Conservative next election, why, they thought that Catholic Cretien and Martin would stop SSM and put something in place to stop abortion, that's why they voted for them, only to be very disappointed. They love income splitting, and they like the fact that Day has booted some questionable characters out of the country. Most importantly, they do not like the idea of billions of Canadian dollars leaving Canada to help China with building factories, all in the name of the god called Kyoto. They might be in their 80's, but they realize how stupid that would be for their grandchildren.

So, 2 Liberals, will now vote Conservative, that's 2 more than we had last time, how many more are going our way?

All in all, Conservatives had a great year, and I am very proud of our Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his cabinet Ministers and MP's. Keep up the good work!!

Rights Of The Child, UN Resolution

I was looking to blog on Human Rights Tribunals, and how out of control these semi-legal witch hunts are getting, and stumbled across this resolution from the UN.

Declaration of the Rights of the Child What struck me most was this part of the resolution:

Whereas the child, by reason of his physical and mental immaturity, needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth,

Does that not mean a fetus? So, according to my limited understanding of this resolution, babies in the womb deserve to be protected, legally.

Further to that:

Principle 4
The child shall enjoy the benefits of social security. He shall be entitled to grow and develop in health; to this end, special care and protection shall be provided both to him and to his mother, including adequate pre-natal and post-natal care. The child shall have the right to adequate nutrition, housing, recreation and medical services.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but pre-natal means, in the womb, he shall be entitled to grow and develop.

This is a UN resolution, it seems to me that it is protecting the rights of a baby, in the womb. So, why don't we hear about this? Nowhere does it state that women have the right to choose, nowhere does it say that partial birth abortions are a good thing and should be allowed. What it does say, is that children, in and out of the womb, should be "entitled to grow and develop". So, abortions deprive the child of the ability to grow and develop, therefore, they are not allowed under this resolution.

Much as I usually disagree with the UN, I agree with this resolution, wholeheartedly. Here come the lawyers, I'm sure, telling me that's not what the resolution really means....blah, blah, blah.

Legal protection before birth, that's very clear to me.

Well a step in the right direction.

The minister made his announcement at a staged rally west of Winnipeg. Farmers who oppose the wheat board's current monopoly on international wheat and barley sales surrounded him.

I liked the STAGED comment. Duhhh, maybe it was just farmer's who actually agree with the decision coming out to show their SUPPORT?

"You either have single-desk selling or you have don't have a CWB and they have presented no evidence that would counter that contention," said Mark Wartman, Saskatchewan's agriculture minister, in the vote's wake.
"Clearly, the majority of farmers are not buying that nonsense about dual-marketing."

Is Saskatchewan's agriculture minister really that much of a communist that he truly believes a monopoly, is a good thing? If the CWB is such a good thing, make it mandatory for eastern farmers to sell only to the CWB too. So, it's okay to throw western Canadian farmers into jail but eastern Canadian farmers can sell to who ever they want? One farmer went to jail for GIVING some of HIS grain to a 4H club in Montana.

"This issue is probably bigger than the Canadian Wheat Board, when you step back and look at it. And if you aren't free to speak out, what kind of country do we have?" Measner told CTV Winnipeg.

Hello, do you not even see the hypocrisy? Force farmers to jail for not selling to the CWB, but, when you get fired, it's a freedom of speech issue???? Come on, no wonder you were fired.

What about farmer's freedom to sell the wheat they produce on their own farms, to whoever they want to sell it to?

Communism, right here in Canada, I'm not making it up, I'm not allowed to!!!

Christmas Spirit Or Just Genuine Caring?

My boys made me proud today, they showed me they understand what the Christmas spirit is really all about, for all people.

I picked my boys up from school today and we headed to Tim Horton's so they could buy their teachers Christmas presents. I had preset the gift limit at $15 each. They were more interested in getting a donut as an after school snack as they were "starved". I have found that growing boys think with their stomachs, bless them, and thank God for my garden in the summer.

As I got out of the car at Tim Horton's, an old man standing near the door said something I couldn't hear, so I got closer and he was asking me for money for food. I dug around in my purse for awhile, but didn't have enough to give him, so I told him I would be back. He said sure as it was a nice day today.

When we got into Tim's my boys asked my what the old guy had wanted. I explained that he had asked me for money for food. I guess their "starved" stomachs told them that they really weren't so hungry, because they picked the cheapest gift each (sorry teachers) and then said they would prefer for the rest of the money to go to the old guy outside.

This was the first time they had ever been that close to a homeless person, and their compassion was instant. Christmas spirit, or just genuine caring? I'm hoping it's genuine caring, year round, and for life.

Six Million Dead, Or Not!

I can not believe in this day and age that people are still denying the Holocaust ever happened. Worse is that the media is making it seem like it's no big thing.

In those days, the daily news was filled with the Rwandan genocide and ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia. On the day that my half-sister visited me, my head was reeling from what happened to 6 million Jews in Germany, Holland, France and Eastern Europe. I learned that innocent men, women and children were separated from each other. Stars pinned to their shoulders, transported by train to camps, they were gassed for no other reason than for being Jewish.

I saw pictures of masses of skeletons, even of kids. I heard horrifying accounts of some of the people who had survived the terror of Auschwitz and Sobibor. I told my half-sister all this and showed her the pictures in my history book. What she said was as awful as the information in my book. With great conviction, my half-sister cried: "It's a lie! Okay, newly elected Liberal leader Dion, is joining with the Bloq to bring down the Conservative government. Go ahead boys, bring it on!! Hey, didn't the Conservatives get accused of being in bed with the separatists anytime they voted the same way? Now it's okay because it's the Liberals joining with the separatists. Hypocrites.

So, wishy-washy boy wants an election, on what issue?

Environment, oh that's going to be fun, Dion was the minister of hot air that allowed our CO2 emissions to grow to over 35% above the Kyoto targets. He wants to bring NEP II to Alberta, oh well he can't lose there, we don't allow Liberals in redneck Alberta. Come see us Dion, we will clue you in pretty quick. The only good thing he did for the environment was to name his beautiful dog, Kyoto.

Afghanistan, wasn't it the Liberals that put us there, and shifted our troops into the dangerous province of Kandahar? Now, Dion wants us to turn tail and run? I think Dion should go visit Afghanistan and sleep out in the desert like PM Harper did, see what you think then, oh wait, he's French, do I see a white flag waving?

Social issues, right Dion, you were in Cabinet for 10 years, but no daycare spaces were created, the GST did not get reduced to zero, poverty did not get wiped out. Hey what did you Liberals do for 13 years, oh I remember now, little brown bags filled with cash going directly to the Liberal Party of Canada. Hey Dion, where's the 40 million still missing, we are still waiting for the cheque.

Who Are Your Senators And Why Are They Mostly Liberals?

Okay, all this elected senate debate made me think back to a provincial election where we had senate candidates on the ballot. I remember thinking, finally provinces will get some control over who we send to the senate. Sadly that was not to be. Martin did not appoint any of Alberta's senators in waiting. He thumbed his nose at us, and our senator elects.

So, I figure if senate reform is going to be an election issue, I should know who my senators are and who elected them.

So, for Alberta, of 6 senators, 5 are Liberals, how did that happen in Alberta? Well, they were all appointed by Liberal PM's. Tommy Banks, a guy with a band, wow, I'm impressed with him as a politician, he will know all about policy in our government. As for the other 5, never heard of them, except Grant Mitchell, wasn't he a failed Alberta Liberal leader? Hey we didn't want him then, but now we are stuck with him in the senate? How he can hold his head up and say he is representing Alberta is unbelievable. We didn't want him as a Liberal leader, we sure don't want him as a senator. We are stuck with him, and all of the other liberal appointees.

Trudeau is dead, but we still have two senators in Alberta appointed by him (11 in total for the country). How is that fair, how is that democracy?

Bring on the vote for the senators to serve only 8 years, let all provinces do what Alberta did, choose their own senators. What a waste of taxpayers money the senate is. Get those senators away from the trough. If they don't like it, replace them.

We should start a petition to fire all the senators, and replace them with people we really wanted, not those former PM's appointed. We should have 5 senators per province and territory, to pass bills, and support what the provinces want. If they don't like that, then heck, let's just abolish this useless excuse of fake democracy.

Accountability at the least should mean that my Albertan senators should have a town hall every three months, so I can grill them on why they are not doing anything for Alberta, just for the Liberal party. Senators are supposed to represent their provinces, not their parties.

Hey, Mitchell, you sucked at being a liberal party leader, you suck even worse as a senator. I would love to say, YOUR FIRED!!! And take the rest of the no good liberal senators from Alberta, we haven't elected a Liberal party here in over 50 years, but we are stuck with you and 5 other hypocrites. OINK, OINK!!!

A Charter Right, For Babies!

Okay, if it is now a Charter right to protect the minority rights of gays to marry, I have an even more important Charter right, for an even more helpless minority, that is being killed in the thousands right here in Canada, by the majority.

Babies.

Oh, you can call them fetuses all you like, try to make it sound like something other than killing babies, but, plain and simple, it's baby killing. Right here in our country, I'm not making it up, I'm not allowed to.

Choice or rights? Women's choice, or a babies rights?

A woman decides to have unprotected sex with a male, she gets pregnant, which happens to be inconvenient. It is now her choice to kill that baby. In Canada, she can have that baby killed even at nine months.

Now, funny they call gay marriage a right, but they call abortion a choice. Why aren't women calling for abortion to be a right? Well, they would turn off a lot of supporters if they went around saying, it is my right to kill my baby.

So, the feminists are using language that is acceptable to people. It's a women's body, it's her choice, they don't even call it abortion anymore. And, they have the male population so cowered, that they don't DARE disagree, because after all, it's their body. Only another woman can call them on it, and when they do, they are called bible thumping, dumb, uneducated females, who are substandard beings because they actually want to have babies. That whole "barefoot and in the kitchen" thingy. As if!

Well, this highly educated female is sick and tired of feminist SOW's. They claim that they have the right to kill their babies just because they happened to have unprotected sex, and unfortunately babies need to grow in their bodies, and they don't want them. So, off with their heads, arms, and legs. Suck their brains out? Sure. It's not killing, it's not a baby.

What a sick society we live in when gays can get married, and babies can get killed, and we the people, can do nothing about it. It's interesting, AIDS and abortion, both about death, both about reducing the ones who want their point of view to rule, yet they are killing themselves off.

Out West, It's Dion Who??

Maybe it's because liberals are not a threat out here, or maybe it's just that Albertans are too busy working to pay attention, but all I heard this week was, "Dion who?"

So far, those of us in the west who are paying attention, are not impressed. From his lack of English, to his dual citizenship, to his call for Kyoto and "sustainable development" aimed at the oil sands, to his support of the Canadian Wheat Board, it seems that Dion has written Alberta off as a no win province, so it's okay to bash it. Guess he thinks that will get him votes in Ont. and Que. , and it probably will, to some extent.

My question is, if he is such a federalist, why is he thumbing his nose at the province that is sending more money to Ottawa than any other province? Is he trying to make us so ticked off that we will separate? How does that make him a federalist.

I think it's time Albertans thumbed their noses at these liberal elitists. They think we are rednecked, knuckle dragging troglodytes, who drag women around by their hair. They also forget that we are the ones who are supporting the rest of Canada. We might only have 28 MP's, but we have all the big business coming here, we have no debt, and we have annual surplusses bigger than the federal government has for all of Canada, and Dion wants to tick us off? Is he on drugs?

Honour The Family.

So, marriage is between two people of any sex. Okay, fine our MP's voted on it again, and again they didn't listen to us, you know, the voter. Why no vote on this next election?

So, now that the 70% or more of people who honour families have been reduced to having marriage mean partner one, marries partner two, kids optional, or should I say mission impossible, I want to take back the family.

I want a law that says that a family is one man, one woman who are capable of having children naturally. All right, that's not going to happen now either is it? How about gays not being able to adopt? Okay, no, that's discrimination now.

So, how did the majority get hi-jacked by the minority?

-Politicians who can't even say Merry Christmas anymore for fear of loosing a vote.
-A loud vocal, usually naked, parading gay community, who want to appear normal, but no matter what, the majority is not buying it.
-And this whole BS about political correctness gone wrong.

So, what can the average middle class working family do about it? Usually we are too busy to really care about the gay community, that's how they managed to take over marriage. Why wasn't "union" enough for gays? Because they want us to believe they are normal. Okay let them distort marriage, do you notice how it's called SSM? It's still not Church sanctioned marriage, but that's next.

Churches need to fight back, with two words, Holy Matrimony. Holy Matrimony is both Church sanctioned and government sanctioned, it is legal. Churches should now make the distinction between marriage and Holy Matrimony. Marriage can stay at two partners of any sex.

Holy Matrimony should be exclusively, one man and one woman.

So, if the united church wants to marry gays, okay. If other churches want to unite a couple, one man and one woman, in Holy Matrimony, okay. Both couples are legally "married", neither couple is less in the eyes of the law.

Problem solved.

Women Have Choice, Farmer's Not So Much!

Well, we hear the lefties yelling about abortion being a women's choice. It's her body, we hear.

Now, how come it's a choice for women and it's their body, their right, but not for our farmer's?

It's their land, their grain, why isn't it their right to sell it to whoever they want?

So, you think the lefties would be shouting about the injustice of farmer's being thrown in jail for trying to sell their own grain. Not so much.

The New leader of the old party, wants to protect the Canadian Wheat Board monopoly.

Liberal leader Stéphane Dion promised Wednesday to fight to protect the Canadian Wheat Board should the Tory government succeed in dismantling it.

Oh great, so far, Dion has threatened our oil sands projects, and now he's threatening to not allow farmer's any choice.

Why is it called the Canadian Wheat Board when it's only western farmers that are FORCED to sell their wheat to the board? Maybe they should rename it the Western Wheat Monopoly Board.

Now, why would the Liberals be so intent on keeping the monopoly? Anyone who has taken an introductory economics course knows that monopolies are bad for consumers. Why does the Liberal Senate NOT want the CWB books opened up to the public? Why did the Liberal party keep appointing (OINK) 5 out of 15 board members? Why are they scared that some farmers might sell their wheat on their own?

If we told women that they had no choice, the screaming would be deafening. That's what the Liberals are telling our farmers. Does anyone wonder why the Liberals suck in rural areas?

I think all farmers need to band together, and start yelling:

This Isn't Going To Loosen My Wallet.

I understand that some First Nations People are truly having problems. The Indian Act is clearly NOT working. It never works when you give different rights and privileges to any group.

Protest if you want to get your issue heard, but when a Minister has the courage to come out and try to talk to you, booing them, is just disrespectful. You should be ashamed of yourselves. From what I understand of your culture, respect is very important. If you give none, you will get none.

It sure doesn't make me think I should loosen my wallet anymore than I already have to help. Show some respect to the people who pay billions to your nations, we might listen harder, and you might gain some respect from us for your cause. By booing our elected representatives, you are booing all Canadians.

Show NO respect for the Minister that is trying to help you, than you will get no respect, and our hearts will be hardened to your cause. Listen to your elders, you will not be led astray. Listen to a politically motivated leader that lives better than any of you can hope to, your cause is lost.

My grandfather used to say that you could achieve more by getting the community together to build the barn, that still holds true today. Booing just divides the community.

The New Feminist, Not What The Old Feminists Want

I often come into contact with young ladies, and I have started to notice a trend when talking to them.

They are strongly pro-life, or as I prefer, for life.

I talked to three young ladies today who were deeply disturbed to learn that Canada had no abortion law. They thought that there was a cut off for when abortions were legally permitted.

They were also very upset that taxpayers were paying for the killing of babies. They all agreed that any woman could use birth control, and were careless if they didn't. They also all agreed that it would be no big deal if they got pregnant without being married, they would be supported by their families and would have the baby rather than abort it.

None of them called the baby a fetus, none of them mentioned "choice". None of them were fooled by the feminist language, they all knew abortion was killing a baby. Why can't our judges understand that, why do they insist on thinking that women are so stupid that they do not realize they are killing a baby? Why do feminists think they are fooling anyone.

Why aren't the SOW's standing up against the killing of babies? Nope, they want equal pay, how trivial.

Old feminists, meet the new feminists, women who care about babies, who are educated, and SHOCK, want to actually have babies and a career. Some of them, even though they have a career, want to be stay at home Mom's.

Watch out, the new feminists are waking up to the fact that Canada has no abortion law, and they are not liking it, not one little bit.

Liberal Leader For One Day, And He Ticks Off Alberta!

WOW, it sure didn't take Dion long to tick off all of Alberta, less than a day.

I don't see him saying anything about the auto industry? He could have ticked Ontario off too!! Oh, forgive me, voters count there.

Guess he figures he can't get any votes here in Alberta, so he might as well just go ahead and start talking about NEP II right away, that way when the Liberals get back into power, Albertan's will already be conditioned to just bend over.

Next, he will start talking about Carbon Credits, the Liberal plan to steal from our kids futures, to help Communist China.

Let me tell you this, you can take your plan for Alberta, and shove it where the sun don't shine! You want "sustainable development"? Go to Africa, they need lots of development there, if not Africa, try the Yukon, your dog Kyoto will love living there. Maybe going there will help you figure out, why Canada uses so much energy in the winter!

Why Do Only Lefties Protest?

It amazes me that lefties have so much time on their hands that they can protest at the drop of a hat.

Mexico, lefties protesting that they didn't win!
Lebanon, lefties protesting that they don't like their government.
Canada, lefties produce a pink book, protesting against women.

Muslims, well, they just protest anything, anytime, anywhere, YAWN.

SOW's, they bring daycare kids to protest on Parliament Hill, shouldn't those kids be in a safe, caring, loving, environment? That sure isn't Parliament Hill last time I watched Question Period!!

When is the last time you can think of when righties protested? Anything? I have been trying to think of the last time, maybe they do protest, we just don't see it on the MSM, as it's not news when righties protest something.

Now, I do remember the Red Friday rally on Parliament Hill, but that wasn't a protest, it was a celebration of our troops.

Maybe if lefties got real jobs, you know, ones that really helped women, or the disabled, they wouldn't have time to protest.

When Annie, get your guns, supports Dinning, it's a clear signal to grab your guns, and get voting Ted Morton. Others supporting Dinning, the arts community, gays/lesbians, and every eastern Liberal they could contact.

I am positive Paul Martin, yuck, is supporting him, why wouldn't he, he's $25,000 richer because Dinning sent him a cheque. $0, to Stephen Harper, an actual Conservative.

Well, that was money lost, Martin is a has been, no brown bag for Dinning now. Poor investment Dinning, lost all your investment, and got no interest in return. If that's what we can expect from Dinning running Alberta, no thanks.

The only ones voting for Dinning are Liberals and unions who have signed up for membership. True Conservatives can smell a Liberal from miles away.

If Dinning wins, grab onto your wallets, because Liberal spending is going to cost you dearly.

So, I'm supportin Morton, it's the only thing a true Conservative can do!

SOW's In Distress!

Oh those nasty, wrongheaded, Conservatives, closing down all the SOW's offices, except for four. Well, I am spitting mad at Bev Oda for daring to do this.

How, I ask you, could she have left four open? That is just totally upsetting!

Okay, I never knew the SOW's had an office here in Edmonton, how could this poor woman have missed them, in my time of need? I am paid the same wages as a male, for the same job, and that is just wrong! I am superior after all, and deserve to be paid more than that nasty male, because, I AM A WOMAN, therefore I deserve better treatment than only equal wages. I am going to march down to their office and demand they stand up for more wages for me for equal work, this is only what I, as a female, deserve.

This just will not do, saving money, well, well, that's just too Conservative, they are showing their true colours now, cutting funding for activists, what are those activists going to do? They might even have to fund raise, to survive, the horror of it all!


Oda insisted that women will be better served despite the budget cuts and the office closings.
"I'm very surprised that the opposition would say, "Put money back into inefficiencies," when you can find inefficiencies and streamline the operations.
"What these offices don't necessarily provide is the help directly to women. There was a lot of lobbying groups, there was a lot of advocacy.
"We don't need to separate the men from the women in this country. . . This government as a whole is responsible to develop policies and programs that address the needs of both men and women."
Oda said the closures will save on unnecessary rent and utility bills and she claimed that even with $5 million in cuts, there will be $700,000 more for women's programming.
She also said women in regions will be able to get service from office of the Canadian Heritage Department.

No more sucking up taxpayers money at the trough! Finally the money might actually make it into the hands of women who really need the help, instead of lefty advocates pulling in $80,000 a year, just to tell us that single Mom's need help. Well DUH, I'm not blonde like Belinda, oh dang, she just dyed her hair brown didn't she, did that make her smarter? If she likes her pink book soooo much, maybe she should dye her hair pink!

The opposition mentioned "equality" for women, not one of them talked about helping single Mom's. Hypocrites, they talk about job losses, would those jobs lost be the ones your lefty friends are holding right now with the SOW's? Is that what all the shrilling is really about?

Mom's Against the Pinks.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I still have my Mom. To those who don't, I can't imagine how painful it is to lose your Mom. Well, I can, sort of, but it's not something I like to even think about, or imagine.

Now, I wish to address this to the Pink Stinkers, because, they should be glad that their Mom's didn't feel that being "barefoot and pregnant" with them was a bad thing. If they had, an easy abortion would have solved that problem. It would have been their "choice".

We as a society have carried this "choice" too far, and it has to stop. If this "choice" keeps up, no universal daycare program will be needed.

Choice in where I want to live, work and play is a good thing.
Choice in what I want to be when I grow up, is a good thing.
Choice in who I vote for, is a right.
Choice in who I marry, well, I was lucky, after 21 years, I would make that same choice.

Choice to kill a baby, when did that become a right?

God must be looking down in disgust. Not only are we killing babies, we are experimenting on their cells, and we think the Nazi's were bad? This pales in comparison to their crimes, because abortion, in Canada, is not a crime.

Everyone is upset about the Quebecois being declared a nation, they are asking what does a nation mean?

Well, I'm asking you, what does "choice" mean, why isn't anyone asking that question? Why do we buy the feminist bullshit that "It's their choice"? It is never a "choice" to kill a baby, NEVER.

In this day and age, with even a new male contraceptive pill, why are there still abortions? If both the male and female, take those little pills, we should not have any unplanned pregnancies. Also, if I am morally opposed to abortions, why do I have to, as a taxpayer, pay for them? Pay for the killing of your baby all by yourself, don't make ask me to support killing.

Abortion is death. The lefties cry about the 45 soldiers who have been killed in service to this country, and I am truly sorry that they died for us, but not a whisper about the THOUSANDS of babies killed every year, right here in Canada, because having a baby would be "inconvenient", at this time! SICK!

So, all Mom's should email their MP's and tell them why being "barefoot and pregnant" is not a bad thing, like the sicko pinko's want to make us believe. It's a celebration of life.

One final hint to those pink stinkers, read this item, those scary Conservative women! Not only are we barefoot and pregnant, but we are also capable of feeding our families, by hunting and liking it!

Income Splitting, I Love It!!!

Better than the next GST cut, this is a real middle class cut that is overdue. It is a huge vote getter, that's why the opposition will get hysterical about it being "social engineering". So, I looked at how it would help my family, and sure enough, all of us will gain from income splitting.

My family:

Mom has no pension, Dad has a good one, they are now able to split their income and save at least $2,000 a year.

Sister doesn't work, husband can now split income with her, they would save thousands.

Brother, wife works but is in a lower income bracket, income splitting will save them hundreds a year.

I make more than my husband, we will save in the $1,000-2,000 dollar range.

So, everyone in my family wins with income splitting.

Now to those who will say, but in won't help the poorest of them all, the single Mom's. Well, maybe not, but they don't pay taxes, and they get lots of subsidies, for example daycare, they pay $80 a month. Don't expect to hear about that in the MSM. Also, they get child benefits, I don't, because as a family, we make too much. Fair enough, I don't want money because I had children, they are my responsibility.

How come they can take my family income into account when it comes to child benefits, but not when it comes to income taxes? Example, we had a nanny, we could claim child care expenses, but only for the lowest earner, so every year, we could only claim a portion of those expenses.

So, let's make daycare free for all single Mom's who are enrolled in post secondary education, that's a win-win. That's how you help single Mom's, not by giving them more money, but by giving them a chance to raise themselves above poverty. I will never forget hearing two welfare Mom's talking about a course they were supposed to be taking, they were insulted that they would be expected to get out of bed, and make it to class by 9:00am, it cut into their evening drinking time!

It's about time that the productive people in society got a break, everyone else does, like single Mom's, and aboriginals.

Let couples income split, that encourages marriage and families. When over 40% of your salary goes to taxes, isn't it time for the real backbone of this country, the middle class, to get some relief?

Alberta Advantage, Morton!

If we Albertans want to keep the Alberta Advantage going, we need to vote for Morton!

I love Klein, he's the only politician who ever got elected by telling Albertans he was going to cut jobs by 20 percent. We elected him, and look where we are now. Debt free, a healthy surplus, and a roaring economy. Yes, those years of 20% reduction in workers were hard, but they gave our children a very bright future. Thank you Ralph!

If we want to keep it that way, do not vote for Dinning. He sat back for years, not even bothering to run as an MP. He sent cheques to Paul Martin, but none to Stephen Harper, how Conservative is this guy? He's a metrosexual stuck in a cowboy/oil province. He belongs in Toronto, with all the other Liberals, not here in Conservative country.

We know that Klein lately has become liberal lite, what did that get us except more actual Liberals elected as MP's, do we really need another liberal lite Premier? NO!

We are always yapping about how Alberta is different because of our hard working population and our individualism. Now is the time to assert it.

We might have a Conservative government federally, but do not let that guide your vote, be aware that Albertans are the targets of the opposition, they are drooling, and plotting as we vote. Carbon tax anyone? Privatizing the oil industry? I have heard those mentioned by various opposition parties. I hope that the federal Conservatives would never impose measures that would hurt Alberta, but they might be out of power in a few months.

So, how do we best protect Alberta's interests? How do we best protect of children's future?
