The opening of the Olympics was great and very emotional for us. I missed the 1988 Calgary opening having set the VCR for the wrong time (we had hockey tickets for the same time)so I have never seen them.

kd lang preformed at both Calgary and Vancouver. She has sure changed her style from country twang and work boots, to a very good singer. Also saw her at the opening of Gay Game in Sydney, Australia. That was an experience that shocked my family.
But, Fergie was sitting two rows in front of me.
