Why do lefties only know how to ban stuff? Why can't they create anything?

Oops, silly me, they know how to create deficits (McGuinty and Redford), and they certainly know how to create dissension (Idle no More, Occupy) and they are experts at creating an atmosphere filled with hate against anyone who does not agree with them (Abortion).

I'm sick of the lefty whiners. They need to get out of the basement, get a job and join the real people in the real world. No more government grants for phoney research, no more living off of the productive like parasites.

If the greenies are so concerned about the environment, let them become farmers. HA! Thought not! It's a failure by them to create! (Well except for those bird choppers they love!)

Thank God for farmers....but don't except greenies to understand where their food comes from, that would be too difficult for them to comprehend. They are too busy growing illegal marijuana and protesting against the very people who provide them with food. 

A "Green" Pipeline!

You know how Al Gore told us that the oceans would rise and swamp New York and other cities? You know how the greens have been telling us that because of global warming, the oceans are going to rise up to 20 feet, and it will be a catastrophe? Well, it's a lie.

But if there is one scientist who knows more about sea levels than anyone else in the world it is the Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner, formerly chairman of the INQUA International Commission on Sea Level Change. And the uncompromising verdict of Dr Mörner, who for 35 years has been using every known scientific method to study sea levels all over the globe, is that all this talk about the sea rising is nothing but a colossal scare story.

Despite fluctuations down as well as up, "the sea is not rising," he says. "It hasn't risen in 50 years." If there is any rise this century it will "not be more than 10cm (four inches), with an uncertainty of plus or minus 10cm". And quite apart from examining the hard evidence, he says, the elementary laws of physics (latent heat needed to melt ice) tell us that the apocalypse conjured up by
Al Gore and Co could not possibly come about.

The reason why Dr Mörner, formerly a Stockholm professor, is so certain that these claims about sea level rise are 100 per cent wrong is that they are all based on computer model predictions, whereas his findings are based on "going into the field to observe what is actually happening in the real world".

The real world and actual facts, that is not something the greenies understand. So, the greenies are worried about the oceans rising and flooding out cities. I have a solution that they will love, IF they are really interested in saving the cities of this world from flooding caused by global warming.



Greenpeace is intent on showing all those melting glaciers, even though, every year, in the summer, the ice melts in the Arctic. My idea, and if anyone steals this idea, I will sue, is to build a water pipeline from the Arctic to the US. The greens tell us that all this melting ice will flood cities, so, if we capture it in a pipeline, the oceans will not rise, and the fresh water will not fall into the oceans and become useless to people. It's a win, win!

Every spring, the Arctic ice melts, falling useless into the sea, what a waste of a valuable resource. If CO2 is the bad guy causing melting, then the least we can do is catch the melting ice and use it in our drinks, or to feed the thirsty crops in California.

Greenies should love this pipeline, if it suffers a break, the worse that can happen is that it feeds some plants. No ducks will be harmed....as they can swim! HA.

I should talk to some oil companies, I bet they could help me build the first fresh water Arctic pipeline....if people are willing to buy $2 bottled water, I wonder how much I can charge California?

A "green" pipeline, let's hear it greenies....you have to support something that will stop the destruction of our cities from melting ice!

MASSIVE Protest!

So says Lisa La-La Land.

Environmentalists are staging a massive protest on Parliament Hill against a proposed pipeline that would carry crude oil from the Alberta oils sands to the U.S. Gulf Coast – passing through six states.

How out of touch can one reporter be? MASSIVE protest? At most, reporters are saying 500 and that's counting all the police and reporters.  Why do lefties want to kill the very industry that supports them and most of Canada? Ontario is now a have not province, be happy that Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland are supporting your MASSIVE lefty programs. The protest was a huge failure, Lisa needs to be honest, but I guess I'm expecting too much from the lefty media here is Canada. If it wasn't for the unions wasting their members money, probably only 50 people would have shown up. MASSIVE failure Lisa, MASSIVE!

Not to be outdone, thousands of union workers rallied against....well they rallied against the Toronto Mayor, because they are scared for their cushy union jobs.

About 4,000 people packed Nathan Phillip Square by 6 p.m. Monday. Many carried placards showing a cartoon of a runaway train going off a cliff, with Rob Ford in the locomotive, and the slogan, “Stop the Crazy Train.”

 Funny how those perfectly printed placards instantly appeared as if by magic. Union fees at work for political advocacy. Shame on the unions for failing their members by becoming political monsters. If you think I am exaggerating, look at the woman in this picture, reminds me of the workers union of Russia.

Look at the clenched fist, the glazed eyes and the strained neck muscles, clearly a women with a mission. Heil Union anyone? The pre-printed signs are another indication of union involvement.

So, it appears that the unions abandoned the greenies on Parliament hill to protest against any cuts to their golden pension jobs. Funny how you always find the lefties at the trough, snorting and shouting when their gravy train is threatened....In the name of the "little people" of course.

Sony Strongly Condemns ‘No Pressure' Video

Reaffirms commitment to carbon emission reductions as key element of Sony's Global Environmental Plan ‘Road to Zero'

Sony today strongly condemned the release by 10:10, the climate change campaign group, of a video entitled 'No Pressure' that Sony considers to be ill-conceived and tasteless. The company also believes this video risks undermining the work of the many thousands of members of the public, schools and universities, local authorities and many businesses, of which Sony is one, who support the long-term aims of the 10:10 movement and are actively working towards the reduction of carbon emissions.

The short video, which was conceived, produced and released entirely without the knowledge or any involvement of Sony, violates the thoughtful and collaborative philosophy that Sony has consistently supported as we strive to become a responsible global citizen.

Whilst recognizing that 10:10 acted quickly to remove the video from its web site and has issued a public apology, Sony believes that it had no other option than to also condemn the video in the strongest possible terms and Sony is disassociating itself from 10:10 at this time.

Sony also wants to take this opportunity to reaffirm its commitment towards reducing carbon emissions, which is the primary aim of the 10:10 organisation, and confirmed that it is on track to reduce the carbon emissions from its sites by 30% by 2015, as part of its wider ‘Road to Zero' environmental plan. ‘Road to Zero' is an ambitious long-term strategy that seeks to achieve a zero environmental footprint throughout the lifecycle of Sony's products and business activities (see more at: http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/csr/eco/RoadToZero/ ).

Notice how they still want everyone to know that they are "green", just not "10:10 green". I guess exploding children made them shy away from those eco-nuts. Still not buying your products again, you are too "green" for me. This company is so intent on being "green" that they are spending shareholders money on useless projects like 10:10 which does nothing for the environment and raises the price of their product. I am not willing to pay the extra for that product just to feel like I am "green".

Companies need to be called on their "eco-behaviour", we need to tell them to stop drinking the koolaid and start providing us with a high quality product, without the "green". Funny how quickly Sony distanced themselves from the "greenies" when "we the people" emailed them to express our outrage. I'm starting to get the hang of this armchair protesting, it's effective, and I didn't even have to leave my house. Of course the lefties have known about this all along, it's time for us Conservative to get with the boycott program.

What Has Your MP Done For You Lately?

I was trying to figure out what my MP has done lately, for us, the constituents in his area. I couldn't think of anything off of the top of my head. I did a google search and found this:

How many of you have met your MP? How many of you have taken the time to email them about your concerns? How many of you have gone to a town hall meeting?

Most of us go to work, come home and could care less about anything going on in Ottawa. I read on Blogging Tories that the opposition is stuck on the Afghan prisoners being tortured issue like a 45 record, but in my world, I could care less about this issue. Most Canadians are not listening. The polls show that fact. When the Liberals were threatening an election, the Conservatives came close to majority territory. Now that we are back to normal, the Conservatives have gone back to 37% support. Why? Who is paying attention anymore knowing that an election is not likely until 2010/2011. Notice that the Liberals have flat lined, it appears they are dead, or close to it.

Personally, I think the opposition are looking like idiots for harping on the Taliban issue. They thought they had a WINNER with the Mulroney issue. That died when Canadians realized they had been hoodwinked by some very partisan Liberals into thinking this was an issue, and that commission cost us millions. Now, the opposition are yelling for another commission into the Afghan torture issue. Not going to happen. I wonder if Bill Graham the Liberal Minister in charge of Afghanistan in 2006 will be called by the committee, or will the majority opposition block his appearance? Funny how they only listen to one side of the story, and the media only reports that one side.

With all the junk the opposition is throwing at the government, have you emailed your MP? Have you gone to their office and told them what you want to see done? What has your MP done for you lately?

Our MP's are elected by us to carry out our wishes, not the wishes of their party. I applaud any MP who clearly states their position on issues, like abortion.

My MP is apparently suffering from Ottawa flu, because he has forgotten who elects him to represent us, hint, it's the constituents.

Seriously, what has your MP done for you lately? Give me some examples, something to make me feel good about our federal government. What are the bureaucrats doing to make our lives better? What is the department of the environment doing to us.

Three levels of government exist, federal, provincial and municipal. They all suck, like vampires, off of only one taxpayer. US. Those greenies protesting, the arts funding, and the daycare advocates, just to name a few, all suck off of the middle class people who work hard and lead respectful and moral lives. Maybe those people should try living off of the government teat. If they did I bet none of them could afford to go to Copenhagen.

All that money being spent, and I see no benefit from it. Our Conservative MP's are letting swelled heads dictate their agendas, common sense has flown out the window.

The Greenies Are In Full Panic Mode!

Polar bears are eating their own! Emails? What emails? Nothing to see here...did we tell you how the earth has a fever? The ocean's are going to rise by 20 feet! It gets more unbelievable everyday. The good thing is that just before Copenhagen, the truth has come out.

Oh, it might only be all over the internet, but the lame media can not stop it now. The silent majority has been rudely awoken, and just like a bear woken up before spring, they are angry.

Australia is erupting.

SYDNEY — A leading climate-change sceptic seized control of Australia's opposition on Tuesday, vowing to kill carbon trading legislation ahead of key UN talks.

Right-wing maverick Tony Abbott ousted Liberal Party leader Malcolm Turnbull by just one vote, 42-41, in a result that should doom marathon attempts to pass emissions laws.

A second defeat of the government bill -- aiming to cut carbon pollution by between five and 25 percent of 2000 levels by 2020 -- would give the government powers to call a snap election.

"We will oppose the legislation in the Senate -- that is the right thing to do," Abbott told reporters, adding that he was "not frightened of an election on this issue".

Turnbull had sparked a party revolt by supporting the government's carbon legislation, and warned that the centre-right Liberals faced electoral disaster if an early election were called.

The US is erupting.

The White House on Monday made exceptionally clear that it wants nothing to do with the furor over documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon is not a threat.

Despite the incident, which rocked international headlines last week, climate science is sound, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stressed this afternoon, and the White House nonetheless believes "climate change is happening."

"I don't think that's anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore," he said during Monday's press briefing.

When you think of Canada, which qualities come to mind? The world's peacekeeper, the friendly nation, a liberal counterweight to the harsher pieties of its southern neighbour, decent, civilised, fair, well-governed? Think again. This country's government is now behaving with all the sophistication of a chimpanzee's tea party.

So amazingly destructive has Canada become, and so insistent have my Canadian friends been that I weigh into this fight, that I've broken my self-imposed ban on flying and come to Toronto.

So here I am, watching the astonishing spectacle of a beautiful, cultured nation turning itself into a corrupt petro-state. Canada is slipping down the development ladder, retreating from a complex, diverse economy towards dependence on a single primary resource, which happens to be the dirtiest commodity known to man. The price of this transition is the brutalisation of the country, and a government campaign against multilateralism as savage as any waged by George Bush.

Typical lefty, dumb as a brick, and can't get his facts straight. What's he doing in Toronto? The oil sands are in Alberta, come on and visit us, but it better be by dog sled or on cross country skis, not by air. We should see him around 2012, just in time for the world to end. HA.

Talk about over playing your hand! We now all see that all they had was a pair of threes, and some fake aces up their sleeves.
