In ancient Sparta, babies who were considered handicapped or in any way not perfectly healthy were exposed to the elements, left on a mountainside to die. Have to “purify” society and all! That was a long time ago and thankfully modern civilization has come a long way.

The governments initiative to help with the maternal and child health care in developing countries is an excellent idea, that the Liberals have used as a wedge in their "cultural war" to gain votes. This is disgusting.

They used to have all the Catholic schools getting the kids to collect change at Halloween. Can you remember the last time you saw one of their donation boxes? They don't want you to know they had to stop the program, because Catholic schools stopped supporting them, over their support of abortions.

After watching the opposition in action against Rahim and how much power the committees have to force Canadians to their will, while hiding behind parliamentary privilege, we need a clear majority next time or a coalition will become a reality, and that will be a disaster for Canada. I know that recently gender selection has been an issue in the news. How sad that some babies are considered more precious than others. How sad that some women are so selfish that they consider their body more important than any baby they might have had, and that abortion is an option no matter what their situation. Everyday is special for this family. There was no, my body, my choice garbage. It was all about, my baby, whatever I can do to save her. They did everything they could to help this precious baby girl survive. I applaud them, and hope it all works out for them.
It really highlights the selfishness of women who think their bodies are more important than their babies. Remember how years ago it was considered okay to sterilize females who were mentally deficient because they might have mentally deficient children. We cringe about that now. We think we are so modern and sophisticated, that we have evolved as a society, when in fact we have regressed. Now we are not sterilizing the mentally deficient anymore, but we as a society are condoning the death of perfectly healthy babies because the mother doesn't want stretch marks, or the responsibility of raising a child on their own.
We are not more "progressive", we are regressive, and we should be ashamed that we are too scared of the radical left feminists to even enact a law that would protect babies after 20 weeks. Think about it, 20 weeks is over 4 months of pregnancy, this is not a blob of cells anymore, ask any mother who has heard their babies heartbeat, whether that is a blob of cells or a baby.
Feminists refuse to evolve. They chant "my body, my choice" like little robots without feeling, or a sense of what damage they do to society and themselves by not just condoning abortion but promoting it as a method of birth control.
When finally some politician has the balls to stand up for the unborn children that are being slaughtered, our society will be able to move forward. Right now the opposition is more concerned about protecting terrorists than they are about protecting our most precious resource, unborn babies.

And for the feminists that will tell us that late term abortions are rare, well so too are women that are raped who get pregnant. I would like to see a study done on how many women who are raped actually get pregnant.

Family planning agencies that support abortion, are not helping women to plan FAMILIES! Unicef and United Way are off of my list of charities because they support abortions, not families. How can you have a family if you abort the baby?

“Of all the issues that you could possibly raise about women’s health, why would you start with abortion?” Mr. Flanagan says. “What kind of mindset is that that you have to start killing unborn babies in order to help people? It seems to be based on the now discredited theory that poverty in the Third World is based on overpopulation. I don’t think any serious scholar believes that anymore.”

Every fiber in my body screams out at the horror of abortion. You can not candy coat it as only "cells", not if you have had those "cells" kicking you in the middle of the night. What is the most disturbing factor in the abortion issue is that it is women encouraging other women to kill their babies. How sad.

Bill C-484 would add an exception to the criminal code, ensuring that doctors will not face criminal prosecution if they help a person die who is at least 18 years old and who, after being given or refusing treatment, continues to "experience severe physical or mental pain without any prospect of relief," or suffers from terminal illness.
"The time has come for this Parliament to find a way to decriminalize medical assistance in dying, which is of such vital importance to those whose suffering can no longer be relieved except by this ultimate compassion," said Lalonde in introducing the bill.
Lalonde went on to observe that so far three countries in the E.U., and two U.S. states, have legalized assisted suicide. "Serious research into the application of this legislation and their very specific criteria clearly shows that the greatest fear expressed in this Parliament some years ago, abuses and the hypothetical slippery slope, has not in any way become reality," she said.
Funny, Lalonde has been battling cancer for over two years, so if euthanasia is such a big issue with her, why is she attempting to keep on living? Why is she fighting the very death that she wants for others? Or, is she pushing this because she is personally afraid of the pain of death and is too scared to do anything about it herself. Maybe she is trying to save her family from making that decision, and thinks forcing it on everyone in Canada makes it okay somehow? Could it be that she is Catholic, and knows that the Church says that suicide is a sin, and if someone else decides for her, she would be absolved?
We will have to start calling the Bloc the Culture of Death party, as they support both abortion and euthanasia. Sicko's.
All the death the Bloc supports disgusted me, so I found a wonderful video about babies. It made me remember those 2 o'clock in the morning kicks to my always full bladder. Our society is not worth saving when we are willing to kill our most vulnerable, the young, the old, and the sick.
So, this month is the United Way's big push for funds. It is the only charity that my work actively promotes. We can get payroll deductions taken off so that we can donate more and get it taken off in small amounts throughout the year. Problem is, the Catholic Church has actively told Catholics not to donate to the United Way because some of that money will go towards promoting abortions.
UNICEF's big push used to be at Halloween, do you remember kids with those boxes around their necks at Halloween, asking for change for UNICEF? Seen any of those lately? Thought not. WHY? Well UNICEF tries to make it sound like they planned the whole thing, but they refuse to admit it died because Catholic schools have stopped supporting their campaign. Funny how the public schools aren't taking up the slack.

Safety challenges? The kids are already going door to door for candy. What better time to also ask for donations. Too bad you are not listening to the Catholic schools concerns about your support of abortion. Stop listening to lefty teachers and supporting abortion, and you might get those little UNICEF boxes back next Halloween.

Two charities that have cut off a huge source of funds by going against Catholic/Christian teachings. Seems like they are less interested in getting funding than promoting their own agenda's. Why would UNICEF and the United Way purposely set out to strangle their own organizations? Is a dead baby more important than a live baby that Christians would be willing to help? What is it with lefties and dead babies?
I actually found a way to donate through the United Way, you can donate to a specific charity like, Dogs With Wings, so that no money goes to organizations you do not morally agree with.
Morals, too bad these two charitable organizations have lost there way.
The MSM is in full cry again. NB Tory Lady has a link to an exclusive interview with PM Harper and Kevin Newman. Newman could have asked anything, what does he do? He shills for the Liberals by asking about the $1 million that has been added to the lawsuit against the Liberals. You can just about see stream coming from the PM, I bet that interview was cut short. Newman, you are a Liberal dolt.

Now, I am told that females don't support the Conservatives. Well this female does, and any other strong minded female will feel the same. I have nothing but disgust for weak feminists who can't live their own lives without government interference, and expect abortion to be paid for, and we are supposed to like it, and shut up. These women are parasites and they give ALL women a bad name. The Supreme Court judge and the GG both have shown us how weak women operate. They break rules to get their way. Didn't the GG run to PM Harper recently for protection? Can anyone remember what that was about?
Feminists disregard women who do not agree with them, and try to silence us by yelling "my body, my choice". They ban pro-life groups from campuses, and cheer on bigots like Arbour. They sneer at stay at home Mom's, they want our children in state run, brainwashing, union day cares, and don't you dare spank your child, or so the Liberal senate tells us.
The lefty media supports them in all of this, they yell that funding for the SOWS has been decreased, the MSM fails to tell people the funding was actually increased. The money is going to real programs that achieve real results, instead of to feminist groups who have never been in a women's shelter, but they can write up a useless paper on feminist issues, as long as they are funded by the government, they have no idea how to actually fund raise, like the Liberals. They can't get out of the trough even though it is empty, they just sit there and oink for their Liberal entitlements.
Well feminists are like dinosaurs, soon to be extinct. Young women are not buying into their man-hating, baby-hating agenda. Women are finding out that they can have it all, family, friends and careers. I pity the feminists sitting in their cold apartments wondering why they are so dissatisfied with their lives.
What are the feminists afraid of, why are they so shrill about a bill that protects the unborn? Yes, I know they think abortion is threatened. Maybe it should be. Why can a woman legally kill her baby at any stage of her pregnancy, included up to 40 weeks?
Listen to this Bloq MP, she is willing to FORCE MP's to vote against this bill, she does not want a free vote, she wants a dictatorship. She DEMANDS that all MP's vote against the bill. She can barely spit out the word abortion, she never calls the baby a baby, it's some sort of alien blob that has invaded a woman's body, she will never admit that it is a human baby that gets killed. Wonder what her stance is on the seal hunt.
I think Demers was/is fighting some sort of cancer, but I'm not sure because her blog is only in French, so much for bi-lingualism. If she is, she should be the first person to champion baby rights. She is fighting hard to live, but she doesn't think babies in the womb should have those same rights. Shame on her.
The lefties cry about seals being killed, and then they turn around and demand that women have the right to kill their own babies. Guess if their abortions were carried out on the snow so we could see the blood and baby parts they might change their minds. Think the club used on seals is brutal? How about dismemberment, salt poisoning, or my favorite, scissors to the brain.
A perfect example of how sick they are, how disrespectful of even the concept of babies needing protection, is this little fraud.

"The entire project is an art piece, a creative fiction designed to draw attention to the ambiguity surrounding form and function of a woman’s body," said Helaine S. Klasky, associate dean and vice president for public affairs at Yale. "Ms. Shvarts is engaged in performance art. Her art project includes visual representations, a press release and other narrative materials."
Real or not, this student is seriously mental, and for Yale to call this "art" in any way, shape, or form is just sick. An art piece? ART? Proof that lefties are out of control more like it.
Personally, I think they know they are losing the fight, they know people are cringing at the thought of baby killing. They can yell "woman's right to choose" all they want, but young girls are not as stupid as the feminists think they are, and they are choosing life, over death. Just like Demers made that same choice for herself.
I was very tempted to show a picture of a seal being clubbed to death and an aborted baby all dismembered, but I couldn't do it.
International Women's Day, is a day for women to rally. CTVNews is complaining about how few companies have female CEO's, while women in Afghanistan rally for peace. For me, everyday is women's day. While we complain about equal pay, Afghanistan women just want their children to be safe to play.
Young women know a different Afghanistan than generations past - they can go to school and find work.
But neither they nor their elders know peace yet, and many said Saturday that is the only thing holding back the full advancement of women in Afghan society.
"When security becomes good, when it becomes safe and we feel we can leave our children outside, no bomb blasts, no kidnapping, nothing, that's when things will be better for women," said Rangina Farescshta, one of the women who attended a rally organized by the provincial women's council in Kandahar.
Funny how PM Harper welcomed female Afghan Parliamentarians to Canada, and not one article about it. Wonder why? HA! (there is no media bias, there is no media bias, there ....)
Meanwhile, back at home, what are our Canadian lefty female MP's busy doing? Voting against Bill C-484 to Protect the rights of the unborn. The threat of not being able to freely kill babies is more important to these rabid feminists than protecting them. Maybe they should switch places with the women in Afghanistan, might give them a bit of a different prospective on what is important. Not holding my breath on that one.
Those MP's are upset that the SOW's funding was increased, but only for real programs that deliver real results. No more advocates, researchers, or useless groups that produce papers and do nothing for actual women. If these groups are so important to women, let them fund raise, stop sucking off the public teat.
What have the feminists accomplished? What are they celebrating today? What can they be proud of doing for women?

Bill C-484, the Unborn Victims of Crime Act had some help in passing into committee, Liberals 27, NDP 1, Bloq 0, Ind 1, Conservatives 120. Not one of those Liberals, NDP or Independents were female, NOT ONE!
ALL Liberal, Bloq and NDP Females voted AGAINST, and one Conservative female. SHAME! They cry about having more women as MP's, well if this is what we get, no thanks.
These hardline feminists disgust me. Have they never had children of their own, never felt their baby kicking them late at night, never worried about the baby they were carrying, never had an ultrasound, never felt the pure joy of bringing a new little being to life? They have turned their backs on women who honour motherhood to support those that would kill their own babies. They are scared, shrill, and like to inform us that the debate is over. I pity their kids, if they have any.
If they were pregnant and attacked by some thug, and he stabbed and killed the baby they choose to carry, would they not mourn for that baby? Would they not want that little life to be acknowledged as a victim of crime? Are they so insecure in their own womenhood that they can not support women who have suffered horrible crimes against them and their babies? Are they so intent on killing babies that they can only see abortion as the issue? Why are they threathened by a bill that supports Mothers to be, and their choices? I thought it was my body, my choice? Where is the women's choice, when a man attacks her, and kills the baby she wanted.
How can all those female MP's justify voting against women who have suffered the worse crime they could ever suffer, having their baby killed, when they had made the choice to keep, nuture and love that baby. This is not about the sacred abortion cow, as clearly stated in the bill.
(7) For greater certainty, this section does not apply in respect of
(a) conduct relating to the lawful termination of the pregnancy of the mother of the child to which the mother has consented;
(b) an act or omission that a person acting in good faith considers necessary to preserve the life of the mother of the child or the life of the child; or
(c) any act or omission by the mother of the child.
This is about insecure feminists, who think they are the only ones who are right, and that choice is only allowed to women who choose abortion. Don't give me any of that going back to the days of coat hangers garbage, either, truely independent women have progressed beyond the 60's, it's time for the feminists to get a new message, the one they have isn't working anymore, and they know it.
Sisters? Not likely, when you only support some women, and not others, when you try to close down discussion on this bill because you FEAR it might lead to a restriction of abortion. Seeing as we have NO abortion law, and women can kill their babies even at 40 weeks, what are you scared of? SHAME on those female MP's who refuse to support ALL women, and their choices! You are not my Sister, you are not promoting equality, you are stiffling it.
Okay, feminists are always saying, if you are a male you have no right to tell me what I can do with my body. Ladies, do you understand that males are necessary if you want to become pregnant? Before all you feminists bash me for my comments, I just happen to be female, so, come one, take me on, you can't use the old, well you are a male so you wouldn't know how I feel line, it doesn't work with me.
The, it's my body, my right, also doesn't work with me, it's plainly just a very stupid statement. So, my body, my right; to cut off an arm if I want to? It's not medically necessary, same as abortion, but, heck, it's my body and if I want to get rid of an arm, I should be able to do so, and no law should stop me. What about that binding the feet thingy from way back, if I want to, I should be able to. What about the getting rid of some private parts that give me pleasure, it's not mutilation if I want it. Do you see how stupid the, my body, my right, my choice, agrument really is, how can you justify abortion, but want laws to stop female genital mutilation. It's okay to kill babies, but wearing a burka is a violation of my rights?
I thought feminists were the smart females in the herd, you know, those that go to university, have careers, do not let men dictate to them, are for equal pay, and protect women's right to kill their babies. Ladies, if you are the smart ones in the herd, why don't you know about the birth control pill, the morning after pill and condoms? Back in the 40's and 50's these did not exist, so we had a high rate of unwanted pregnancies and back street abortions, but that point is moot now, even if a young teen gets pregnant now, it's not looked down on as a BAD thing anymore.
Abortion is killing a baby, plain an simple, and there is no moral reason to do it, not in our present society. My body, my right, my choice, is as outdated as feminists, it's also totally selfish.
As a person, it's my body, but NEVER my right to kill a baby.
