Build That Pipeline, Save Money!

Environmentalists (university students with NO job experience) want us to embrace solar and wind as environment friendly alternatives to oil, gas and coal. They spew on and on about massive green jobs. So how is that going?

Solar Firm That Received $1.2 Billion Federal Loan Plagued by Financial Problems

The Energy Department says on its website that the $1.2 billion loan to help build the California Valley Solar Ranch in San Luis Obispo County, a project that will help create 15 permanent jobs, which adds up to the equivalent of $80 million in taxpayer money for each job.

But the Energy Department stands by the project.

“This project underwent many months of rigorous technical, financial and legal due diligence by career employees in the DOE loan program,” Energy spokesman Damien LaVera said in a statement to FoxNews.com. “It was approved for one reason only: because it meets all the requirements of the program – helping America win the clean energy race and create entire new industries for American workers.”

Even with 1.2 Billion the firm is in trouble and they were only going to create 15 permanent jobs? I would love to get me some of that action, as would Gore and Strong. Stop listening to the uneducated kids of the environment, who do not understand the meaning of a real job, start listening to the people who have to pay the energy bills.

 

As far as the Keystone pipeline goes, forget about those bird choppers and solar panels, that create no jobs, and build that pipeline, in the short run, you will employ many people in areas that desperately need employment, and in the long run, you will save money on energy.

When you give kids money, they always go to the nearest corner store and spend it on candy and pop, then they complain of a bellyache. Does anyone wonder why all the "clean energy" companies are going bankrupt? Do any of you know anyone who owns a "smart car" or even a "hybrid"? 

The wolves like Gore and Strong have been exposed. The sheep have not yet realized that they were duped, they are too busy protesting Wall Street now that their "global warming" scam has failed.

Funny how lefties always have a cause to protest, while the rest of us are busy actually working at jobs in the private sector, supporting them. 

If the Americans chicken out of the Keystone project because of the Ecochildren, Canada has another huge buyer of our oil, and it's name is China, with India a close second. How would we get it there? Look at this:

So far the usual activists are protesting both pipelines, but I predict that both pipelines will be built, and eastern Canada will benefit just like they do now. 

Build those pipelines and save money. If the environmentalists are so concerned about Mother Earth, I have a garden that needs to be rototilled!

House Of Cards Comes Tumbling Down!

It's getting to the point that even the MSM can't ignore the Climategate fraud anymore. Every day now we are getting more data that shows what a house of cards global warming was. Funny how Gore and Suzuki are so quiet now. Maybe the Bug Dr. is hoping we will forget his wholehearted drinking of that koolaid. Finally, people are waking up and realizing they have been fed a load of horse manure for over 20 years.

With the freedom of information act, more information is coming out, and none of it is good. Still, some people have bought into this junk science and refuse to see the evidence right in front of their noses. Case in point:

The IPCC is simply an org put together to assess all the other science being done in the world and to report based on that. It doesn't even do any primary science on its own. You all speak of it as if it does actual science. It doesn't.

If you're going to fully debunk AGW theory, you're going to have to go to the source and debunk the actual science reports and sites that I mentioned before - i.e. NASA, Royal Society, Environment Canada, World Meteorological Organization, Scientific American...I could go on...

One fallacious report (i.e. the Himalayan one) and some questionable emails does not debunk the theory of the consensus.

So we have a denier (HA), and they are too vested in their point of view to even bother reading the excellent links posted by other posters.

This one is very interesting and it is part one of four, so I await the other three parts.

In August 2007, I submitted two Freedom of Information Act requests to NASA and its Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), headed by long-time Gore advisor James Hansen and his right-hand man Gavin Schmidt (and RealClimate.org co-founder).

I did this because Canadian businessman Steve McIntyre — a man with professional experience investigating suspect statistical claims in the mining industry and elsewhere, including his exposure of the now-infamous “hockey stick” graph — noticed something unusual with NASA’s claims of an ever-warming first decade of this century. NASA appeared to have inflated its U.S. temperatures beginning in the year 2000. My FOIA request asked NASA about their internal discussions regarding whether and how to correct the temperature error caught by McIntyre.

NASA stonewalled my request for more than two years, until Climategate prompted me to offer notice of intent to sue if NASA did not comply immediately.

On New Year’s Eve, NASA finally provided the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) with the documents I requested in August 2007.

So "Flos" has his fingers stuck in his ears and a blindfold on, while singing "Sticks and Stones". It's more like Humpty Dumpty having a great fall, than a house of cards. Either way, global warming's goose is cooked. HA! (Okay cheesy I know, but it's late).

Global Warming Exposed!

The MSM is in lockdown, they are waiting for instructions from Al Gore and Suzuki. So all is quiet on the Canadian front, except for bloggers, who are blasting the news that we have been lied to by the econuts. Most Conservative bloggers already knew that, why didn't the lefties?

Talk about deniers, we have taxpayer funded CBC that has yet to even mention the hacking. The left are the deniers, they refuse to acknowledge that the science is not settled. They deny scientists the opportunity to publish their papers showing that the planet is not warming. It's all in the emails that the MSM refuse to write any articles about, for fear of.....what? They are the enablers. They have shouted about drowning polar bears and rising ocean levels, without any statistically, scientifically supported evidence. Computer models are only as good as the data that is input, and from the emails, it sure sounds like the data was corrupted.

I want to make sure that the National Post gets recognized for being just about the only Canadian media to cover this story.

Global warming, not such a bad thing!

The day was way to beautiful to be inside worrying about politics, so I want to continue that feeling with some lighthearted commentary on global warming or the lack there of.

Al Gore talks about green jobs and how they are in everyone's communities these days, and they are high paying (for him)!

Green jobs! Who knew that the illegal Mexican immigrants were on to something all those years ago when they crawled over the border to become janitors, gardeners, and fruit and vegetable pickers? Those are all green jobs, the only problem is that they are not all that high paying.

George Carlin has something to say about global warming, (language warning)!



Global warming is a huge lefty scam to take money from the poor and give it to the rich, like Al Gore. In Canada, the Liberals just voted to keep all their options open, like a carbon tax AND cap and trade! Can we just get back to fighting REAL pollution?

The thing that strikes me most, is that the so called environmentalists protest in places like Bali (who pays for that trip?), and I bet not a single one of them has ever been in a field picking vegetables so they can feed their families.
