My Heart Is Canadian!

I am a born and raised Albertan. I vote Conservative, not because we are prosperous but because we understand that government should not rule our lives. That is what has made us prosperous. We want every Canadian to experience the same prosperity. Lefties scoff at Alberta because we keep electing a Conservative government, but we are the engine of Canada, and Alberta has no debt. Conservatism works, socialism sucks the life blood out of any society.

Lefties call me a knuckle dragging neanderthal because I dare to vote Conservative. Today I saw a Conservative sign of Ryan Hastman in Edmonton Strathcona totally destroyed, yet all the Linda Duncan NDP signs two doors down were untouched. Typical tolerant lefties. It has to be lefties because Conservatives would not destroy their own signs. In Alberta the lefties are desperate because they know they will never gain power here. We are the forgotten ones, the fly over people, the Layton do not answer questions about cap and trade ignored people.

Alberta sends our love of country every year in the form of transfer payments. We could separate and thrive, but we don't because we love Canada. My heart is Canadian.

We get slagged by the rest of Canada because our oil sands are supposedly "polluting" Canada. Yet the Ontario coal fired power generators are never mentioned, even though they "pollute" way more than our oil sands. My heart is Canadian, but it is being tested by uninformed, juvenile "supposed" voters, spouting vile anti-Harper garbage. Hopefully the adults will take over on Monday. If not, my heart, my mind and my soul (which lefties don't believe in) will have to look at what is best for my family going into the future.

Vote for a stable Canada, vote Conservative.

Layton Refuses To Answer Questions On Cap And Trade

Not quite, he just refuses to answer ANY questions when he is in Edmonton, but the effect is the same. PM Harper gets slammed by the media constantly because he only allows 5 questions from the media, now we find out Layton refuses to even TAKE any questions while he is in Edmonton. What you hiding Layton? Fess up buddy, or do you think us rednecked hillbillies don't understand the impact cap and trade would have on our economy in Alberta and in Canada?

"People are going to look at Jack Layton not only as a guy who is inexperienced, everyone starts off with no experience that is a given, but a guy who comes from a party who has financial economic policies who are not in the interest, certainly of Alberta as the very least, and very questionable," said Conservative candidate Laurie Hawn.

The Conservatives have pointed out when Jack Layton is in Alberta he says, ‘oil sands', but when he is in the east, he uses the activists term, ‘tar sands.'

Layton, lying out of both sides of his mouth. His rise in the polls is because of the Liberals tanking, but no media is mentioning that little gem. Funny how the Liberals have always said that people needed to vote for them to stop Harper, now the NDP are singing the same song.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, PM Harper, is steadily steering the Conservative ship towards a majority. I know it's kind of unexciting, but it's better than a Layton coalition government.

The polls are all over the place, I wonder if Avaaz is paying the pollsters? Who is getting money? University kids to post on media sites? Maybe SUN News can find out.

Ignore the white noise that is our media. PM Harper is going to PEI again, and from the comments it sounds like they are enjoying the attention. If only the people of PEI could understand that we dislike Wayne Easter because he supports the Canadian Wheat Board that suppresses the ability of our western farmers to compete. The Liberals threw our farmers into jail, some for over 6 months because they wanted to sell their wheat in Montana. How would PEI potato farmers like to be told that they can only sell their potatoes to Alberta and they couldn't sell them to McCains unless they sold them to Alberta first, then they could buy them back from Alberta at the higher market price?

PEI can deliver some Conservative seats, please help your western buddies! (I thank you for sending me my wonderful husband who left PEI in search of a better life, and has found it here in Alberta! He still needs yearly trips back to the Island, I suspect if we retire there it will solve his homesickness and satisfy my love of lobster.)

Newfoundland needs to be scared of the Layton surge, they will pander to Quebec and you can say goodbye to any hopes of your plans for power independence. The only party that will actually support you is the Conservatives. Think hard about your choices and your future.

I expect the media to be shouting about Layton not answering questions about cap and trade in Edmonton. Who is the dictator now? How will cap and trade, that ALL opposition parties support, impact us? I leave you will this video that answers that question H/T to Jan Webb over at BLY:

UPDATE: Linda Duncan doesn't care about the people in her riding:

Are there not oil-reliant jobs in her riding? “So what?” she says. “Does that mean the oilsands should develop unmitigated?”

Finish Line Is In Sight!

Windsor Conservatives did us proud and loud during this speech by PM Harper. If anyone wants to talk momentum, it's the Conservatives that obviously have it!

Yeah, yeah you say, but it's the NDP that are surging! Only in Quebec and it serves the news media to make hay about their popularity. PM Layton? Oh give me a break, not happening, ever!

What is interesting is that Democratic Space, is predicting a Conservative majority.

Maybe those of you on the ground can tell us if they are predicting your riding correctly. Check out their pdf file for more detail of each riding.

I smell a Conservative majority happening with the high voter turn out at the advance polls. Over Easter, families talked about the election and realized that if the Conservatives were leading by 10 to 12%, they might as well give them the majority that PM Harper has been asking for, it would reward the Conservatives for a job well done during a world wide recession.

The finish line is in sight, and the steady and sure Conservatives are leading the race, with the NDP, Bloc and Liberals back in the pack busy trying to trip each other up. The biased media is running behind everyone yapping and shoving each other to try and get the scoop that will bring them fame. They stink of sweat and fear.

Most importantly, vote.

Pride In Canada, What A Concept!

Every time I hear this commercial, I have to watch it. As the Liberals go negative, the Conservatives go for the inspirational ad. The best country in the world! Pride in Canada, what a concept!

This Easter, our PM did actually go to Church, he just didn't broadcast it like Ignatieff did. Funny how it's okay for Ignatieff to go to Church, but not our PM.

Pride in Canada, it's a concept the media doesn't want us to talk about. Speaking of the media, this is an excellent segment on Sun News. Barefaced Bias, the Sloppiest Story and Craziest Column.

Pride in Canada, not cuddling with criminals. Rewarding those who work, by giving them back some of what they have earned, not taking away more to support those who refuse to work. If the NDP are so pro-homeless, then why do they want to increase the heating bills of every Canadian, rich or poor?

Cap and trade is an unconstitutional threat to the country

Under the single umbrella of the national carbon quota regime, a national commission will limit and politicize Canadians’ rights to produce, import, consume or export fossil-fuel derived energy, building products (cement, aluminum, iron and steel, wallboard and other pulp and paper-based products, etc.), fertilizers, industrial chemicals, grains and beef.

The existence of such a commission will eviscerate the powers assigned to the provinces in our current Constitution, forever.

......

The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that for purposes of upholding such an intrusion into areas of provincial authority under the “national emergency” test, the feds must be proposing law that is temporary to address an emergency that is short-term in nature. Clearly, the climate-change issue and the carbon quota solution do not meet this test.

If the court was asked to consider a whether a federal carbon quota system is constitutional under either the “trade and commerce” clause or the “national concern” provision (a very large “if”), the federal quota system must, in the Liberal party election platform’s own words, apply “to all sectors of the economy with no exceptions, and … be equitable across all regions of the country.”

In fact, no cap and trade regulation proposed by Environment Canada or any province, to date, complies with this essential requirement.
Pride in Canada does not include trying to break it up. If the NDP eat into Bloc support, good for them. Conservatives can take seats in Quebec, and all across Canada, they can unite us, a coalition would only divide us. It's time for the silent majority to "rise up" and deliver a majority to the Conservatives.

Bare Arms? Scandalous!

Yikes, Sun News females have bared their ARMS! How low will they go to get viewers? Too funny! Feminists are insecure, man hating cry babies, and did I mention shallow? They are attacking the Sun News female commentators because they are jealous. Period. Full stop.

The women smile and nod a great deal. They all wear bright short skirts. None of them have sleeves. About 70 per cent of Sun TV’s programming feels like being trapped at a second cousin’s wedding reception.
Catty little thing aren't you Tabatha Southey? What is your claim to fame? Writing children books? That obviously takes a lot of talent, NOT.
The most disturbing was this one:

So why won’t I be watching? Because despite its virtues, Sun TV really isn’t about Hard News and Straight Talk. It’s about Hot Chicks and Sexy Outfits. And oh yes, after 5 pm, ladies, for the most part, you are dismissed.
Sorry Tasha, you are a jealous little person if some women baring their arms is enough to stop you from watching Sun News. Only a shallow person would think women can't dress as they want. Tasha, did you walk in the "slut" walk? You should have!

Olivia Chow supported the Sun News women by baring her arms, thanks Olivia, you showed the other women as classless, biased, spiteful ladies.

No Friday Night Funnies, But......

Something you might enjoy anyways. Good Friday is a day to reflect on your faith and your life. I want to know what you do to make your community a better place. Volunteering is a good way to get involved in your community. As most of you know, my family volunteers for Dogs with Wings as a foster family. I thought you might enjoy some videos of Dogs with Wings and some of the foster dogs we have or have had.

This first video will give you an idea about the Dogs with Wings organization, look closely at the black lab puppies, one of them is ours (not the one barking)!

The next video shows a working guide dog named Enzo, we fostered him and we are glad to see that he is a real star! Funnily enough, the first dog we ever fostered, Pride, went to Ray as well, so both dogs he talks about were our fosters, and they both did/do a terrific job of making Ray's life easier.

If it doesn't show the right video, just click on the Dogs with Wings one.

Finally, we went to the airport to pick up a black lab puppy from California last Good Friday, and here is her reaction to a mirror!

Seeing how these dogs change a handicapped persons life, makes it all worth it for us. So, this Easter, think about what you are doing to contribute to helping those in society who need it the most. Writing a cheque is good, but actually getting involved is better. Too many people talk about helping those who are in need, but do nothing about it. A perfect example are the soft on crime crowd who yap about rehabilitating criminals not incarcerating them. They talk, they write papers and they cry that Conservatives don't care about the criminals, only the victims.

When you look at who is helping the homeless, it's Christian organizations, yet lefties are the first to criticize anything Christian. Everyone, no matter their voting colour, should get involved in an organization in their community that will help those people who can not help themselves. So, step away from your keyboards, and join your community this Easter in rejoicing and become an active participant to help better your life and those of others! Volunteer.

Why Would You Vote Liberal?

As families meet around the table this Easter, I hope they talk about the two clear choices they have before them, a majority Conservative government or a coalition. This is not a vote for your favorite party type election, this is an election about Canada. This is an election about your kids, and grandchildren, it's about leaving them a country that is a leader in the world, not a piker. It's about rewarding those who work hard for the betterment of our country, and not supporting the separatist Bloc.

Canadians have been guided gently through an economic crisis that the US is still feeling. Our Prime Minister has been fighting not only the opposition but also the biased media everyday, every minute, since he has been elected. He has shown class and patience with an opposition that feels it is their duty to oppose everything his government proposes. He has given everything for this country, without asking for anything back. He has governed in fairness to all Canadians. He is now asking Canadians to give him acknowledgment for a job well done by giving him a majority. He has been open and candid about his hopes for a chance to govern for 4 quiet years, so he can continue to move Canada into the spotlight as one of the best countries in the world.

Are Canadians so petty that they will not vote Conservative because they fear a "hidden agenda" but think a coalition including the Bloc is okay? Are Canadians, supposedly one of the happiest nations in the world, so deceived by the biased media that they actually believe the slop they are selling?

What has PM Harper ever done to you, except govern this country better than anyone of us could hope to do? I am sickened by the "Harper Haters" who bash him constantly for petty little things like not showing everyone on TV that he actually ate the "wafer" at a funeral Mass. Sad little people with tiny little minds.

Our Prime Minister has made this country proud, he has taken a strong stance for Israel (loosing a seat at the security council because of his support for Israel), he has supported our military like no PM in recent history, and he has not bowed down to the separatists. He is asking for one small thing, a majority, so he can govern without fear of another election in 6 months.

As Canadians, proud of our country, solid hardworking citizens wanting the best for our children, we can not fail him now!

I am talking to Atlantic Canadians right now. You send your young people to the west because there are jobs here. That is how I met my husband, he came from PEI to Alberta over 25 years ago, and he is still here. Why would you vote Liberal?

Many people from Newfoundland come to work here and send their pay cheques home, improving the lives of all people living in Newfoundland. Why would you vote Liberal?

I ask you to consider what your lives would be like if the Liberals or NDP imposed a cap and trade on the oil industry. Alberta would be closed down once again, NEP II. Your jobs would disappear, and no more pay cheques would be arriving in Newfoundland or PEI. Think carefully about how you vote.

Ontario voters need to understand that if the oil industry is over regulated, they will move their operations to Venezuela and all those jobs manufacturing tiny little bearings or huge tires for the oil sands will dry up. Think carefully about how you vote.

Albertans are some of the staunchest supporters of Canada. Don't let us down!

Think carefully before you vote, Canada is too important to let petty, partisan politics destroy this country.

Townhall Meeting In Your Own Home!

Voters have listened to the debates, they have heard the stump speeches (too many times), they are now turning their attention towards their riding candidates. This election is down to who voters are going to vote for in their ridings.

I was reminded of that this evening by a phone call from my MP, James Rajotte. It was a townhall meeting in your own home. It was a conference call made from my MP to over 9000 people. If you stayed on the line you could listen to the questions and hear how your MP answered the questions. You could ask a question if you wanted to, or just listen. I listened, and it was worth it. The questions were actually about the issues and party platform. One NDP voter noted that even though he didn't vote for James, he respected him and the job he was doing. That is what becomes most important, electing a MP that will listen to all sides, and work with everyone in the riding. James is an excellent MP, and will get re-elected with his usual over 50% of voter support, from all parties. I'm hoping he will get to become a Minister, but that doesn't really matter, I just like that he helps all constituents.

I wonder if NDP MP Linda can say the same thing? NOT! She wants to shut new development of the oil sands down, killing thousands of jobs on top of her party wanting to bring in cap and trade.

Driving through the Edmonton Strathcona riding, it is a close sign race. Linda has more huge signs (not very environmentally friendly, tsk, tsk!) and more signs parked on public land, such as one right by the crosswalk of an elementary school (NDP going for the kid vote!). Ryan has more signs the further you get away from the university area.

Voters are going to start concentrating on which local candidate to vote for during Easter, then they will tune out to watch hockey and the royal wedding.

Power grab! I Love Sun News!

Ignatieff says he is "serene" with the election. Does he realize he is so low in the polls that he should concede the election right now? Or did he purposely spike the election by declaring that he will try to take power if the Conservatives only get a minority? Is he that anxious to get back to his villa in France? You decide:

Power grab is so true. The lefties try to wrap it up in bows and ribbons, but it is really lies and a grab for power.

Let Canadians beware, the Liberals have finally come out and admitted that they will NOT accept a Conservative minority government. A coalition/accord/arrangement, is not just a figment of PM Harper's overactive imagination, it was 100% confirmed by Ignatieff tonight.

What this means in black and white, is if Canadians do not give the Conservatives a majority, we will have a coalition government. We will lose the best Prime Minister Canada has ever had because of a power grabbing opposition who could care less about Canada. They are willing to sleep with separatists to get back into power, and that should disgust all people with even a hint of morals.

Power grab, plain and simple.

Wake up Canada!

Liberals, Bringing Out Their Dead, Part 2

So, Count Iggy goes off script, and has a Howard Dean moment with his "rise up" screech. Of course people have been highlighting this phony "I love Canada" moment. Count Iggy you aren't fooling anyone. You think our flag looks like a beer label, it is a cheap beer that you would never think of drinking. Going with your voting record of 30%, the worse of any MP in Canada, you will be sent back to the US to continue your lackluster career. Here is what comes to mind when the Count talks about "rising up":

Too funny! When the person who wants to be Prime Minister of this great country, gets ridiculed, it's safe to say that they will not be given the honour of running our country.

Count Iggy's "rise up" comments reminded me of PM Paul Martin playing the air guitar, it's desperate and it shows.

Now, some advise for PM Harper. We have heard your speech over 10 times, it's time for a new direction, new lines, and new hope. Start getting us excited about the Conservatives winning. Talk about the family income splitting option, that is huge, but it hasn't been front and center like it should be. Also, call out both the Liberals and NDP on the job killing cap and trade (carbon tax) initiatives, they are economy destroying. Don't play the medias game, they are trying for that one big GOT YOU moment.

Tomorrow, turn your TV to Sun News, stop watching CBC and CTV, watch them panic as their viewership tanks. We might actually get fair and balanced reporting.

Liberals, Bringing Out Their Politically Dead!

Okay some of these politicians are still alive physically, but politically they are dead. There was a big political rally for the Liberals in Edmonton today, sadly, I was busy spring cleaning and couldn't make it. I did go to Global Edmonton to see what I had missed, and was stunned that SO many Liberals showed up to see ex-PM Paul Martin, and Global has the pictures to prove it for you non-believers!

Can you see the crowds? I bet Laurie Hawn the Conservative MP is shaking in his ex-military boots!
Here we have ex-PM Paul Martin and the Liberal candidate cutting into the crowd to get their hot dogs!

What a success, one Liberal supporter shows up to see the ex-PM Paul Martin, Mary is sure to win this riding! HA! I drive through the riding every weekday, Laurie Hawn is winning the sign war, and I see more NDP signs than Liberal signs. I don't think Conservative MP Laurie Hawn needs to worry too much. I am sure that all 50 people who showed up to listen to Iggy and Martin are going to "rise up" any minute now!

This poster says it perfectly:

Iggy screamed "rise up rise up " and sure enough out came Jean and Paulie. Hey Iggy , could you bring back my sainted grandmothers while your raising the dead ?
Bringing out the politically dead. Jean and Paul, should be great ambassadors to a dying party.

Elections Canada is doing everything they can to help call out the dead, or in this case, not eligible to vote. Can Elections Canada get anymore ridiculous, it would be funny but they are endangering our democracy.

CALGARY -- Questions are hovering over Elections Canada’s voter registry following the recent distribution of information cards to untold numbers of those ineligible to even cast a ballot.

Elections Canada officials couldn’t provide an assurance illegal voters possessing the cards could be vetted at ballot stations.

Mizue Asai, a Japanese emigrant who has lived in Calgary for nine years, was perplexed upon receiving a notice which indicated she is registered to vote, in spite of the fact she is not a Canadian citizen.

It is “at least” the second she’s received since living in Canada, said the 39-year-old.

Under the Canada Elections Act, only Canadian citizens 18 years or older qualify to vote.

“I’ve always thought it was strange because I know I can’t vote,” Asai said.

News reports state other foreigners living in Calgary have received the cards, which indicate their designated voting station.

Elections Canada's reaction?

Saulnier said there are procedures in place to ensure non-citizens are prevented from casting ballots.

“If they show up at a poll to vote, they are going to have to prove who they are, where they live, so there is an opportunity to ensure the person who is going to vote is legitimately entitled to vote,” he said.

In the end, the real deterrents are the legal punishments, which include fines, jail time or both, he said.

“If they choose to vote knowingly, and they’re not qualified to do so, then they’re liable for an offence under the electoral act,” he said.

Another Elections Canada employee was surprised by the revelations surrounding voter information cards.

“In all honesty, I’ve never come across that. Mind you, even if there was only one instance of it, that’s too many,” he said.

Elections Canada is lying. If you show up with a voters card, you don't usually have to show any other documents, and they would certainly NOT know that you are not a Canadian citizen. The card means that you are on the voters list, and your address will be listed, they take the card, cross off your name, and away you go to vote. Elections Canada allows a "mob vote" to stand even though it broke two or three rules, and now this? Something stinks.

Iggy is going to get this guy to "rise up" next!

Liberals, bringing out their politically dead!

Friday Night Funnies: Politicians

YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THIS RANCHER'S OUTLOOK AND COMMON SENSE APPROACH TO LIFE ..
While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, who's hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually, the topic got around to Michael Ignatieff and his bid to be the PM of Canada.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, he's a 'Post Turtle''. Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was.
The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain.
. . . 'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, and he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with'.

"Walking Eagle"

Michael Ignatieff was invited to address a major gathering of the Indian Nation in B.C. this summer...
He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every First Nation's present standard of living if he were elected Prime Minister. He assured them he was always urging the present government to address more of the native community's concerns.
At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribe presented the Ignatieff with a plaque inscribed with his new
Indian name - "Walking Eagle". The proud Ignatieff then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to select the new name given to Ignatieff.
They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no longer fly.

SUBJECT: PRAY FOR OUR PRESIDENT

My wife and I were in slow-moving traffic the other day and we were stopped behind a car that had an unusual Obama bumper sticker on it. It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".

When we got home my wife got out the Bible and opened it up to the scripture. She started laughing & laughing. Then she read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.

Psalm 109:8 ~ "Let his days be few and brief; and let others step forward to replace him."

Bible, King James Version -- Psalm 109:8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office .

At last - I can honestly voice a Biblical prayer for our president!

Look it up - it is word for word!

Let us all bow our heads and pray.

Brothers and Sisters, can I get an AMEN??

Friendship among Men:
A man didn't come home one night. The next morning he told his wife that he had slept over at a friend's house. The woman called her husband's 10 best friends. Eight confirmed that he had slept over, and two said he was still there.

When Will The Polls Move?

It has been steady as she goes for weeks in the polls. Now that the debates are over, we should start to see a shift. Voters are beginning to make up their minds. Will it be a stable majority government or a coalition?

Talking to two co-workers after the English debate, both of them Liberal voters, and both of them thought Ignatieff sucked, big time. They didn't even want to talk about it they were so disappointed in his performance. They might not even bother to vote.

Conservatives were sure PM Harper had won the debate, no matter what the biased media told us, and it appears that even voters of other stripes agree.

Of course, that high number will probably drop and the media will use that as a hammer to show that support is dropping. Whatever. What it shows is that PM Harper is heads above the opposition, and even if his numbers drop, he is still seen as the best option for Canadians as the Prime Minister.

What I did notice about the latest poll numbers is that Atlantic Canada seems to be coming on line.

No one is mentioning Atlantic Canada, everyone is concentrating on Quebec and Ontario, but Atlantic Canada can set the tone, they can get the majority rolling. Newfoundland and Labrador can give us 2 or 3 seats, if not more. They should be really concerned about a coalition that gives the Bloc the power to stop their Churchill project. PEI alone can give us 3 seats. Combined, those are half the seats we need. Atlantic Canada can be the majority makers! By the up swing in the Conservative numbers, I wonder if Atlantic Canada hasn't started the majority trend that could sweep Canada.

In Quebec we will hold what we have and maybe gain a few seats. Think about this, if Quebec in 2006, had not elected 10 Conservatives, Martin would have been much closer to getting a minority. Ontario is doing it's usual waffling but I hope they will come through for us.

The Prairie provinces are solid Conservative, that's why everyone is flying over us instead of stopping by for coffee. Come on Iggy, we only have a few questions about your cap and trade plan. Don't be scared, we are probably the most relaxed and non-confrontational of all the provinces. BC is it's usual schizophrenic self, but there are solid pockets of support that will help hold everything we have, and help us win riding's like retired Keith Martin's.

As for our biased media, you will not dictate to us who we vote for, you do not have the power to do that, as no one is reading your papers anymore, and no one is watching CBC or CTV. We will tell American Soros to get lost. I find it really rich that Liberals talk about Harper/Bush when Iggy is the one who spent his time in America talking like an American and actually supported some of Bush's wars!

Some dimwit on CTV called the ethnic "costume" item a SCANDAL!!!!!!!! Wow I'm shocked too! NOT. Then 7 lefties come out to protest, and it's headline banner news? Give me a break, or better yet, give me SUN news! As a Canadian born woman, I actually think it would be awesome to not only wear your ethnic clothing, but bring your ethnic food too! Perogies! YUM! The media is giving the Conservatives a majority by being so biased that even my Liberal parents have mentioned it.

Canadians are making up their minds right now, and the choice is clear, majority or coalition. PM Harper has been mentioning it since the start of the election, and it is sitting in the back of people's minds, fermenting. Only lefties think a coalition when the economy is fragile is a good thing, but then they really don't like Canada anyways. This last stretch is going to be the most important, and the toughest. Here is a pick me up:

Quebec Debate...Yawn. Give Us A Western Debate!

Duceppe was declared the winner of the Quebec debate because he promised Quebec more goodies. If he has to form a coalition with the Liberals and NDP to get them, he doesn't care. Separation is his song, but it is getting really old, tired and out of date. We all know that Quebec is special because of their culture and language. It is time for Quebec to stop being on the outside, with no chance of power and come back to Canada. The only party that can form a majority are the Conservatives. If Quebec continues to vote Bloc, and the Conservatives form a majority without Quebec, they will be out of luck. The Bloc will have no power.

If the coalition actually does take power, all voters west of Ontario will have little to no representation in the takeover government. This could have a devastating impact on the economic engine of Canada. All opposition parties want cap and trade. If you think that the NEP was economically destroying in Alberta, cap and trade would be ten times worse. Quebec and Ontario would suck Alberta and Saskatchewan dry, causing a huge divide in this country.

I want a debate in western Canada, on western issues. For example, the Canadian Wheat Board does not allow western wheat farmers to sell their wheat to anyone but them. The Conservatives are trying to give western farmers choice, but the opposition parties refuse to let our farmers go. I want the debate to ask how the opposition parties think that cap and trade would benefit western Canadians. The opposition wants to stop any pipeline to BC to ship our oil to China and India. How does that benefit western Canadians? Oil is a provincial responsibility, what gives them the right to stick their noses into our business? It's time for all political parties to explain to western Canadians, why they suck money out of our provinces to give to Quebec and now Ontario, because those provinces refuse to elect governments that are fiscally responsible.

Demand a western Canadian debate, if Quebec gets one to yap about their specific issues, then western Canada should get one too. We are so far away from Ottawa, that our issues are very different from those of central Canada. Iggy has no plans to visit Alberta this election, what does that tell you? The Liberals have written off the economic engine of the country because they see no votes here. That is how shallow the Liberals have become. The Liberals, a party that doesn't know who they are, what they stand for, and who are obviously only interested in those that can help them gain power.

If the coalition gets in, the west will want out.

Harper 1, Coalition 0 WINNING

My non-partisan hubby watched a few minutes of the debates, and couldn't believe how bad Iggy, Layton, and Duceppe were on the issues. He commented on how they were all attacking PM Harper, and that it made them look bad.

PM Harper did win this debate, Iggy lost. He was actually pathetic. Scripted answers to the questions, looked angry, hand on hip was arrogant, and he got confused near the end, stumbling over his answers.

Trust Jack to provide the zinger of the debate. This was worse than Dion's retake video, because "master debater" Iggy had no answer to Jack's question. He also stopped answering questions when he was asked about his voting record by the press, after the debate. He bolted back into the conference center. While PM Harper walked out the front door, Iggy was walking out the back.

PM Harper stayed calm under an assault from the 3 coalition members. As a matter of fact, the opposition gave him lots of air time because they were all attacking him. He got more response time than the 3 of them combined, and he was able to get out the Conservative message. He appeared to be the only intelligent person on the panel.

Soon, Canadians are going to get engaged, and the Conservative message about either a coalition or a stable Conservative majority will get some attention. I think that Canadians are not really scared about a Conservative majority anymore. They are also sick of having 4 elections in 7 years.

None of the biased media attempts to influence our vote have worked so far. They are getting so desperate that they are clearly showing their true lefty bias. Just like they fought against Ford for mayor of Toronto, they are now fighting against the Conservatives. It will bite them when Sun News comes on line. Thank you Shaw!

The Iggy Debate Drinking Game!

Here is what you do. Every time during the debate, Iggy says, or does these things, you drink. Seeing as it is a weeknight, I leave the choice of drink to you.

1. Eyebrows, anything with his eyebrows moving...DRINK.

2. Shoulders shrugging...DRINK.

3. Says, "I"...DRINK.

(Maybe we should make this just count the number of times instead, because if we drink every time he says "I", we won't last past the 5 minute mark.)

4. Points his finger...DRINK.

5. Says, "A _____ if necessary, but not necessarily a _____. DRINK.

6. We will have to raise taxes....DRINK.

7. Any reference to Americans or the US, such as "I voted for Kerry" or "the US is my country too". ..DRINK.

8. Coalition, alliance, ...DRINK.

9. Pretending he is just an average Canadian...DRINK.

10. Any reference to "didn't get it done"...DRINK.

11. Lies about not voting in other countries, or voting in Canada...DRINK.

12. Likes his junk touched...DRINK.

13. Likes ladies underwear...DRINK.

And the big one:

14. Any time he refers to himself as being Canadian!...DRINK.

(I suspect we are going to be double drinking because he will try to use the "I am Canadian" line, which means we drink because of the "I" and the "Canadian". )

Okay, your mission is to add to the drink game. To my lefty trolls, this is not about Harper, if you want it to be, go create your own game.

To start the game off, we have the first comment that really illustrates why Iggy is not Canadian:

Jim Lad

While Mr. Ignatieff was gone, I emigrated to this country from Scotland, married a Canadian girl, had two sons, lost my wife to cancer, married again, had another child, saw one son go off to join the Canadian forces, had a thirty year career in entertainment and I don't even get to vote. I used to but Pierre Trudeau and Bill Bennett took the vote away from landed immigrants.
Do I have a grasp of Canadian politics?
Of course I do.
Do I feel qualified to represent Scots in a General election?
Certainly not. I'm completely out of touch with respect to British politics.
To imagine that I could somehow go home and hold the highest office in the land after a thirty year absence? That would take a heck of a lot of arrogance.

More comments like this one should be easy to find. So, get your beer and popcorn ready! Let the games begin!

The Far Left Is Panicking!

It really should come as no shock to Conservatives that the media holds us to a higher standard than the Liberals/NDP/Bloc. Any misstep by PM Harper is magnified a 100 times. Listen to the way the media asks PM Harper questions, they are disrespectful and downright hostile towards him and will not even let him answer before they interrupt with some other "got you" question. Roger Smith even brings up the scary "hidden agenda" again. They wonder why they get so few questions, maybe they should ask intelligent questions. They are like piranhas, jabbing, poking, and taking off pieces of their victim, then they run back to their studios where they feel safe and continue their biased message, not happy that their victim refused to roll over and bow to them. What babies.

Don't think that the media are the only ones working against the Conservatives this election. Special interest groups are scared silly that their government gravy train is going to fall off the cliff. They are sending all their little mindless university activists out in force, whether it is to protest Conservative rallies, or to set up faux debates then cry when the Conservative candidate refuses to show up. They are also hitting the comments sections of all newspapers. Here is an example of what they are doing:

The following links are directed toward all supporters of the Harper Conservatives. Stephen Harpers Canada is a Canada that does not value peace and tolerance, measures its history and value by armed conflict, does not encourage citizens to work for social justice, is not concerned with protecting the environment, reveres the monarchy, warns immigrants to tame their savage ways, and emphasizes obedience to authority.

Is that a Canada you want? Please do not vote Stephen Harper on May 2, 2011.

I find this one interesting because it actually serves to highlight what Conservatives have been saying for a long time, the media is biased. That this is a comment troll is easy to figure out, she links to rabble, a far far far lefty site. By the way, don't bother clicking on any of those links.

Some days after reading comments, I feel discouraged. Even at my own blog trolls leave comments that are so untruthful and distort the truth so badly that I can't believe these people actually exist. What usually happens is that one of my readers will step up and totally destroy the troll by using facts and logic, and that always brightens my day!

What we as Conservatives have to understand is that lefties operate on emotions, not logic. Balancing the budget holds no interest to them, saving the world is uplifting. They are immature, they lie and distort the truth to fit their agendas. When they talk about Liberal "values" call them on it, ask them what that means, you will find they don't actually know what it means. Their moral compass has been lost and so they flounder around looking for some meaning to life and then get mad because they can't find it. They have no certainty about their beliefs so they attack those who know what they stand for, because they want them to be as miserable as they are.

So, go and comment on blogs and online newspapers, get our message out! Call the lefties on their lies and distortions. It will not change their minds, but it can impact those voters who are not sure yet of how they are going to vote.

MAJORITY, MAJORITY, MAJORITY

There I said it! It feels right. I'm not the only one who has been saying it, so has PM Harper. Since the start of the election, he has been saying we need a stable Conservative majority government. He is taking a big risk, but the options are clear. We either get a stable Conservative majority government, or we get a coalition of loser lefties proclaiming Iggy as the new PM against our wishes.

If the polls are anything to go by, Canadians are now ready for that majority. Every other election when the M word was used, the poll numbers for the Conservatives have dropped, this time, it's steady as she goes. Now that voters have accepted the idea of a Conservative majority, we can move on to the policies.

The number one policy, of all parties, that should grab voters interest is the income splitting for families. It will reduce taxes for families by about $1,300 a year. It encourages parents to stay home and raise their children, instead of shuffling them off to a daycare. The Conservatives have not mentioned this enough. They need to hammer the tax advantage home, and not rely on the PM rallies to get the word out. I know this because I was talking to a co-worker and mentioned it, and he hadn't heard of it. His wife is at home with their 3 children and this would be a huge tax break for them. He got quite excited about it, and went to figure out what it would mean for them tax wise. This policy needs to be in an ad.

The second policy would be the increase in the tax free saving account to $10,000 from $5,000. Lefties will whine that only the rich can benefit from it, but they are wrong. An 18 year old opens up a tax free saving account and deposits $100 into it. The $9900 not used gets carried over until they can afford to put more into the account. These accounts also let you put mutual funds, shares, and other investments into the account, so you are not restricted to the interest a bank might offer. You can also take money out for any reason, like a down payment on a house, or a car purchase, and you can then replace the money without penalty. If you don't have a tax free savings account, you have no clue about saving.

The opposition/media has jumped on the fact that these 2 programs will not start until the deficit is gone. Good fiscal management means that you do not spend beyond your means. You balance your cheque book before you write anymore cheques, and if there is no money left, you do not write a cheque that you know will bounce. Why should the government be able to do what we as taxpayers can't?

I watched the media asking Iggy questions today, and they gave him such a free ride it made me sick. Fife didn't even get to finish his question before Iggy stepped in and started yapping, laughing and slamming the Conservatives. Fife laughed right along with him. I wonder if he felt a tingle up his leg? Iggy is a faux American after all. Sun News can't come fast enough.

I can't beleive the way the media has given Ignatieff a complete pass on any tough questions during the media scrums, his wife is not even a Canadian citizen, who is she and where is she from, why did he spend over 20 years in the U.S. who is this guy and why does he dress like Mr. Rodgers all the time.

Friday Night Funnies: Dopey

As a rule, I don't pass along these "add your name" lists
that appear in e-mails. BUT this one is important. It has
been circulating for months and has been sent to over 20
million people.

To show your support for Michael Ignatieff for Prime Minister please go to the end of
the extensive list and add your name.

FREE KITTENS

A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home. Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS..

Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man.

"Hi there little girl, I'm Mr. Ignatieff. What do you have in the basket?" he asked.

"Kittens," little Suzy said.

"How old are they?" asked Ignatieff.
Suzy replied, "They're so young, their eyes aren't even open yet."

"And what kind of kittens are they?"

"Liberals," answered Suzy with a smile.

Ignatieff was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens.

Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that Mr. Ignatieff should return the next day; and in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.

So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of "FREE KITTENS," when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from CBC, CTV, and CNN.

Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Ignatieff got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy.

"Hello, again," he said, "I'd love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you're giving away."

"Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're CONSERVATIVES."

Taken by surprise, Mr. Ignatieff stammered, "But... but... yesterday, you told me they were LIBERALS."

Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know. But today, they have their eyes open"

Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
(A TRUE Political Fable)

The seven dwarfs always left to go work in the mine early each morning.
As always, Snow White stayed home doing her domestic chores.

As lunchtime approached she would prepare their lunch and carry it to the mine.

One day as she arrived at the mine with the lunch she saw that there had been a terrible cave-in. Tearfully, and fearing the worst, Snow White began calling out, hoping against hope that the dwarfs had somehow survived.

'Hello!...Hello!' she shouted. 'Can anyone hear me? Hello!'

For a long while, there was no answer.
Losing hope, Snow White again shouted,
'Hello! Is anyone down there?'

Just as she was about to give up all hope,
She heard a faint voice from deep within the mine, singing . . ....Vote for Jack Layton!
Snow White fell to her knees, crossed herself and prayed,
'Oh, thank you God! At least Dopey is still alive!'

Have a great weekend, remember it's time to get the message out. Usually when PM Harper has mentioned "majority" the poll numbers have gone down, it hasn't happened this time. This time I think people are ready for a majority, and the only party that can deliver that stable majority is the Conservatives, let's make it happen!

Alberta Quiet Now, Soon To Erupt!

Alberta, the "bad boy" for voting Conservative is being battered from all sides because we dare to be productive and create jobs, which in turn creates wealth. I am sick and tired of the NDP and Liberals using us as a whipping boy to incite the masses against our oil sands.

We have one lone NDP MP "environmental" lawyer in Alberta, she only got elected because Conservatives were ticked off with Jaffer. As I drive through that riding to get to work, I see lots of Duncan signs, but I drive through the university area so that is expected. Soon the university students go home and the properties with signs will sit empty. That means the real residents of the riding, not the university students will actually get to determine the results in the riding.

What bothers me about Duncan is that she won because of all the Liberals voting for her instead of their own party. It was a mini Liberal/NDP coalition. That really tells you exactly how "principled" those Liberals are, if they would abandon their own candidate and vote NDP. It also shows you how FAR left the Liberals have drifted. Classical Liberals would be more at home with Conservatives.

Duncan released her report after the standing committee on environment and sustainable development failed to reach a consensus after a two-year study into the effects the oilsands industry has on water in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. During the two-year study, the MPs on the committee heard from 60 witnesses and toured the oilsands around Fort McMurray, Alta. In the end, no report on the committee's findings was issued to the government.
It would be safe to say that Duncan is the first Green candidate to be elected to Parliament. She hates the oil sands, wants to stop the development, and actually thinks Alberta is going to thank her for it. Vote her out. She already has a huge university pension, and if she is re-elected she will get a huge pension paid for by Canadian taxpayers.

Funny how those NDP candidates like Layton and his wife talk about supporting the "poor" and suck up over a million dollars a year in income from taxpayers. Duncan is no different. She wants to retire with two golden pensions that middle class Canadians could not even imagine.

The environmental effects also spill over into the neighbouring jurisdictions of Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.

The report says additional oilsands projects should not be approved until environmental assessments do a better job of outlining cumulative impacts.

It also recommends Environment Canada dispatch inspectors to Fort McMurray to keep on top of environmental law violations.

Such a monitoring system should be paid for by public and the oilsands industry, Duncan said.

The report released by Liberal members of the committee came to similar conclusions.

Linda Duncan has been working against all the hard working people who have come to Alberta in hopes of getting a good paying job in the oil industry. She has her law degree, those who toil daily in the oil sector do not. She wants to send more people to the unemployment lines, because it won't impact her in any way. It's easy to preach from a golden pension platform, looking down at the peons.

This election, both the NDP and Liberals have come out against the oil sands, even though Iggy stated he would not kill the golden goose.

“Under Stephen Harper, every single Quebecker is sending roughly $75 a year to subsidize dirty fossil fuel producers,” Mr. Layton said at Insertech Angus, a company that trains underemployed young people to rebuild computers from cast-off parts.

“The result of this subsidy is an increase in the greenhouse gases pumped out in Canada and a competitive disadvantage for businesses looking to build clean solutions and the new energy economy,” Mr. Layton said.

He fails to mention the 17 BILLION that Alberta sends to the rest of Canada, 8 BILLION going to Quebec alone. He also fails to mention that oil companies already pay into a research and development fund in Alberta. He came to Alberta and forgot to even mention the oil sands, then he goes to Quebec and slams our province. Hypocrite. Here is an even bigger hypocrite, who told Alberta he would never, never, never ever kill the golden goose and then turns around and proceeds to do just that:

Once again, Canada's most valuable resource and prime job-creator sounds like a temporary case of gas. Two days before, Ignatieff made Alberta's political irrelevance even more obvious when he released his energy policy.

There would be a tanker ban on the West Coast, so forget pipelines and oilsands exports to China -forget, in fact, the province's entire strategy for the future of the oilsands.

The Liberals also plan to institute a national cap-andtrade strategy that would surely suck billions out of Alberta.

To ensure that no coin is overlooked, they would immediately halt an investment-friendly tax break the Conservatives will allow to linger until 2015.

Can you say NEP II??? This is worse than Dion's carbon shaft, this is a clear indication that the NDP and Liberals, with Bloc support are planning to steal from the west to give to the east.

Alberta is quiet now, we have been listening to Layton, Iggy and Duncan closely. We have made our minds up, and will vote Conservative this election, but what the opposition doesn't understand and obviously doesn't care about is that Alberta is simmering. We are stoking the fires right now, waiting for the election results, but we are tired of all opposition parties making us the "bad boys" of Confederation, when we are the ones who are feeding them.

The sickening part is that the opposition think they can continue to stomp on us with their Birkenstock, while sipping their lattes, and calling us knuckle dragging (Fife CTV), rednecked, hillbillies, while taking our taxes from us to support all their socialist programs. Shades of Atlas Shrugged!

Be very careful what you vote for Canada. Our very existence as a country depends on it. Ignore the west if you dare. Join us if you want a strong vibrant country. We will not be stopped by eco-nuts like Duncan Donuts. It is still the wild west, where we believe in the individual, guns, private property and God.

Radical Conservative Candidate Booted!!!!

Oh, sorry, that WOULD have been the headline to this story, except it was a Radical LIBERAL candidate that had to be booted, so the story has all but disappeared from all media sites.

Nope, can't see the story here! I see they are still on the university students being booted out of a Conservative rally. No bias there. Move along folks, nothing to see here.

Way, way down at the bottom of the page, I finally found it! Even at the National Post, it has been buried, except that readers keep on clinking on the article and have made it one of the popular picks (#4):

Wow, Iggy was Shocked! I'm Shocked he has a candidate in Quebec running who has been charged with failure to blow, OOPS, wrong candidate. Okay, maybe it's this candidate? Yup, that's the guy. Media coverage, non-existent.

Meanwhile back at the Liberal media anti-Harper party, they are still promoting their newest "scandal", some people getting booting from campaign rallies. Activists might think they are scoring points, but what they do and say will come back to bite them, like this guy, who is getting his butt handed to him over at SDA's :

Izzy responds:

Hi everyone,

This is Izzy, the man in question. I would like to clarify that I was kicked out of the rally without being identified. Nobody that kicked me out knew my name or had researched me beforehand - it was by facial recognition only and no Facebook probing or anything. All the media did in fact, speak the truth.

I apologize for my comments as a young highschool student filled with angst at our governments actions FIVE YEARS AGO. Clearly a naive adolescent as many are at the time, I have grown and matured much since then and am well on my way to obtaining a professional degree. I hardly think my comments should come back to haunt me - it was a joke after all.

As well, I am open to all political parties as long as the issues I care about are represented in their platforms. If currently the only platform that does that is the Green Party, then yes I am proud to support them but that in no means should present a threat at a Harper rally. In fact, the Greens support communication and non-partisan open dialogue amongst people from all ends of the political spectrum.

I am also proud to be able to represent Jane Goodall to youth in Canada, and proud to have delivered the last lecture valedictory speech for my class, which some of you may be mocking, but it was most genuine and a highlight of my life. So please stop harassing me and get on with your lives.

Posted by: Izzy at April 6, 2011 11:39 PM

Kate responds:

Izzy, you need to grow some integrity.

Your "vote mobs" are clearly Green Party organized, and thus the "non-partisan" claim from their organizers is intentionally deceptive.

You have the good fortune of a supportive media, but that doesn't excuse your dishonesty.

When the Prime Minister of Canada is being stalked by individuals who invoke hashtags like "surpriseHarper" and "trackHarper", it should come as no surprise when you're asked to leave.

Non-partisan groups don't target political parties. Don't treat us like we're stupid. You're not dealing with journalists here.

That is the beginning and the end of the issue. You are being dishonest. If you wish to be involved politically, then be truthful in what you do.

I'd suggest you begin by making calls to the reporters who were so willingly deceived and apologize.
I give the guy points for having the guts to post on SDA's, but as Kate points out, he is being completely hypocritical. Typical university student who needs to mature, but his posting about OUR PM needs to be considered as serious, and his coming a Conservative rally to protest the PM means he hasn't changed his views. Funny how the media hasn't picked up on this, just like they ignored the fact that an assistant for an NDP MP was front and center during the Ann Coulter protests.

Thank goodness for Blogging Tories. Sun News can't come fast enough for me. I am sick of my tax dollars going to biased media like the CBC. Why don't the lefties want the 1.3 BILLION the CBC gets yearly go towards solving poverty? HA!

Biased Media Making Up The News?

Seriously, a group of anti-Harper protesters get booted out of a Conservative rally, and it is PM Harper's fault? Is that all the media has? They looked like whiny babies. WHAAA. How about them questioning Iggy on the WEST KILLING carbon tax and his lack of support for the military?

I find it interesting that the opposition brought down the Conservative government on a vote of non-confidence because of "contempt" by the government, but that didn't play very well, so the media have gone back to the faux scandals, like the wafergate, the Odagate, the _______ (fill in the blank) gate. The media is going for the emotional issues, because they know PM Harper will win on the economy and tax issues. BOO HOO a pro-Iggy supporter got asked to leave a Harper rally. Now she is a victim? Give me a break.

On Sunday, the Liberals released their "red book" and it stank, that's why the media is trying to change the channel. They don't want us to know about the cap and trade/carbon tax that the Liberals (and NDP) want to impose on the west. They don't want us to know about how the Liberals will gut the military, AGAIN!

Here is one of the best blog postings I have seen totally destroying the "red book". Some highlights:

The current Fleece Merchants obviously consider Pierre Trudeau, who almost bankrupted Canada, to have been a piker. This time around, the Liberals will do a much better job of bankrupting Canada and extracting every last cent from our wallets.

Traditional Liberal supporters and money holes like First Nations/Aboriginals/Metis, Artists and "free money" outlets (Council for Arts), the Civil Service and special (entitlement) interest groups are favoured in the Liberal income re-distribution scam.

But there's more! By re-positioning far to the left of the NDP's platform, the Liberal Party has to cater to a host of new supporters, and welcome back all their old supporters, at a large cost to you and me. Examples include:
Go check out this blog post to see the examples, it's a must read.

The slimy media has nothing to do but attack PM Harper for something he had no control over, and American Iggy couldn't help but slam him, smugly, in a Tim Horton's. You are not fooling anyone Iggy, blue sweater or not, you are a snob!

PM Harper has done a terrific job during a very challenging time, where every country took a hit. We have come out of it quicker than any other country thanks to his management. (Lefty trolls will say it was Martin who is responsible, but the Liberals has been out of power for 5 years, they just haven't gotten used to it yet).

Why did the opposition cause this election? To attain power. Simple.

How? By any means possible, like a coalition. This time they won't actually sign a document, but if you have ever watched the committees where they have the MAJORITY, you will understand how they collaborate to make Parliament dysfunctional.

Both the Liberals ( in their red book of tricks) and the NDP have come out saying they want to shut down the oil sands. NEP II. This will not sit well with the west, but we have so few votes that we have to rely on Ontario to help us out. Think about this, PEI has 4 MP's when their population would only actually deserve 1 MP. Little PEI is more powerful than Alberta, the engine that is driving our economy. Alberta is getting smoking hot again, this means more revenue for the feds, our deficit could disappear sooner than projected, unless the coalition gets elected.

Now the Liberals/media are attacking a very good ad by the Conservatives, because they use the flag that Iggy called a beer can label. They are disgusting, and the media is pandering to them so badly no Conservative can watch them anymore.

Bring on Sun News!

Who Can Form a Secure Majority?

Look at the map and you decide! If you squint your eyes you can see the red in the west. Expect the Territories to go blue, and Newfoundland, maybe PEI. BC is ripe for more blue as is Ontario and Manitoba. I suspect even Quebec is going to get into the game.

The momentum is building, a Big Blue Wave is about to swamp many areas of Canada.

Instant Gratification, That's What Lefties Want!

The lefties are up in arms because the Conservatives want to wait for the budget to be balanced before they suggest any new programs, or any new spending.

I really like the income splitting option offered by the Conservatives, my kids will be too old by then to give us any tax break, but other families will benefit from this promise. Too bad the lefties need instant gratification. This is how I picture them...

The lefties want their goodies right now, they can't wait for a balanced budget. They slam PM Harper for not giving them their goodies sooner. They are not concerned about our deficit, or our debt, they don't even understand the difference between the two. All they know is that their socialist programs can not gain ground with the Conservatives standing solidly in their way. They need to destroy the whole idea of smaller government and lower taxes. That would give too much power to the people that they are scared of, because people who are allowed freedom will reject socialism every time they can.

I sense a ground swell of support for the Conservatives is happening, but the media is intent on "Iggy Madness". It is not going to work, Canadians are too smart, despite what the lefties think!

Calling Atlantic Canada, We Need You!

Atlantic Canada can determine whether the Conservatives get their majority or not. It is your time to shine! Don't let us down. We only need 9 seats, Newfoundland has 7 and PEI has 3. Being realistic, if we get 3 from Newfoundland and 1 more from PEI (please get rid of Wayne Easter, he makes PEI look bad), that only leaves 5 from the rest of Canada. We are working hard in Edmonton to take back the only NDP riding in Alberta, so there is 1 more, leaving 4 to go.

PEI voters showed up to support PM Harper and the Conservatives. I don't know what the media is going on about when they say Harper is angry, watch this and see him, at ease and having fun.

Quebec is moving towards the Conservatives, so even if we only hold the seats we have there now, it's a win. Ontario is a key province, and something I found really interesting was this poll result:

Vancouver 41.6% CPC 29.0% LPC
Calgary 52.7% CPC 22.3% LPC
Toronto 40.9% CPC 34.8% LPC
Ottawa 38.4% CPC 43.8% LPC
Montreal 16.2% CPC 25.9% LPC

Toronto is at 40.9% supporting the Conservatives, and only 34.9% for the Liberals! THAT IS HUGE! Think about it, the only Liberal strongholds left are Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Vancouver is at 41.6% Conservative to 29% Liberal...OUCH! The only hope left for the Liberals is Montreal, and even that is shaky. Funny how the media missed those little details! HA!

I know the polling pundits are saying that Ontario and BC are critical, and they are, but Atlantic Canada can deliver a Conservative majority if they want to, and I hope they do.

I remember the 2006 election. It was the first time I volunteered and got involved in the actual election, I was ticked at the Liberals for stealing our money. This election is starting to feel the same way, but this time I am ticked that the opposition think they can take over the government without winning the election. It might be legal, but it stinks to high heaven.

This time PM Harper is openly asking for a majority, and Canada needs to get behind him, starting with Atlantic Canada, flowing to Quebec, Ontario, the Prairies, BC, and the Territories. The wave of support starts in the Atlantic, on election day send us here on the prairies a message, send us the majority the PM Harper deserves. We will be happy if our votes end up being a "Me Too" vote!

This is not a media election, even though they are trying their hardest to get us to vote for the Liberal coalition. This is an election for Canadians, by Canadians. This is an election where we decide whether we want a stable majority Conservative government, or a coalition government ruled by the losers.

It starts with Atlantic Canada, don't let us down, we have faith in you.
