Snakes In The Pit.

All day I have been upset because of the Liberals and their slimy tactics. They are making the NDP look good to voters. Seriously, if I didn't like my Conservative MP so much, I would vote NDP/Green for the first time in my life.

I thought about everything that happened today, and I wonder where the real Liberals have gone. Or am I just projecting for those suffering from lefty hostage syndrome? Seriously, where has the true Liberal party gone? I fear it has been hi-jacked by special interest groups and far left leaning individuals. When even the NDP look tame, you have to know the Liberals have moved way too far left.

Snakes in the pit, will spit and hiss, but unless you put your hand in the pit, they are harmless, like the Liberals. They dig up a 2003 speech, and think it is their highway to winning the election. Well, seeing as digging for dirt is the flavour of the day, I found this little gem from 2004, while the Liberals were still in office.

Nice, bash the President of the United States, that will really help trade relationships. This can probably be forgiven because it was a clip from a comedy show.

This next clip is serious, and seeing as a speech from opposition leader Harper in 2003 is now fodder for the media, can the media ignore this case of a breach in foreign affairs, under the Liberals. Is a speech more important than a "supposed" terrorist? How did he get into foreign affairs on the Liberal watch?

In anticipation of the Couillard book coming out during the election, maximized exposure to increase book sales, (not going to buy that book)and give the Liberals extra ammo, compare her to Khawaja. She got some semi-classified documents, but Canada's most dangerous terrorist actually worked in our foreign affairs department.

Khawaja at very centre of terrorist plots: Crown

Most interesting is the chronology of the arrest:

Here is a brief chronology of key events leading to the trial of suspected terrorist Momin Khawaja:

Sept. 11, 2001 — Terrorists crash jetliners into World Trade Centre in New York and Pentagon in Washington.

Oct. 15, 2001 — Liberal justice minister Anne McLellan tables wide-ranging anti-terrorist bill.

Nov. 28, 2001 — Legislation clears House of Commons, opposed by NDP and Bloc Quebecois.

Dec. 18, 2001 — Revised legislation passes Senate and becomes law, granting wide powers of arrest, detention and surveillance, and authority to freeze and confiscate financial assets of suspected terrorists.

March 29, 2004 — RCMP raid Ottawa home of Momin Khawaja, 29, a software developer working at Foreign Affairs. Seize about 50 kg of ammonium nitrate and other bomb-making materials.

March 30, 2004 — Khawaja is first Canadian charged under new law with participating in or contributing to the activities of a terrorist group and facilitating terrorist activity in relation to international plot by Islamic extremists to bomb targets in Britain.

Dec. 21, 2005 — Khawaja charged with five additional terrorism-related counts, and the two he already faces are expanded.

Sept. 11, 2006 — Khawaja lawyer Lawrence Greenspon launches constitutional challenge to a part of act making proof of terrorism dependent on proving religious, political or ideological motive for crime.

Oct. 24, 2006 — Ontario Superior Court Justice Douglas Rutherford strikes down section of Anti-Terrorism Act and what he calls an “essential element” of Canada’s legal definition of terrorism, saying it infringes on freedom of religion, thought and association guaranteed in Charter of Rights.

April 5, 2007 — Supreme Court of Canada denies Khawaja right to appeal in last-ditch attempt to quash charges on grounds Anti-Terrorism Act is unconstitutional.

April 30, 2007 — Five members of so-called “fertilizer gang,” to whom Khawaja was linked, sentenced to life in prison for plotting attacks. Also tied to London’s subway bombers, who killed 52 commuters on July 7, 2005.

April 3, 2008 — Supreme Court of Canada refuses to hear Khawaja’s constitutional challenge to Canada Evidence Act, whose secrecy provisions Greenspon argued violated Charter guarantees of fundamental justice and fair trial.

April 4 — Lawyer counsel Leonard Shore appointed to examine classified materials government wants to keep under wraps due to their sensitivity. He will be able to challenge government’s claims of secrecy over materials.

June 23 — Khawaja trial begins in Ontario Superior Court under shroud of security.

– The Canadian Press

I would think that this issue is more concerning to your average Canadian family than some speech from 5 years ago.

Funny how the Liberals and MSM have buried the green shift and talk about nothing now. Really, if the Liberals have no green shift, what to they have left? Smear, and uppity arrogance. They can't count on entitlements as long as PM Harper is in charge, too bad lefty reporters, no Senate appointment for you.

The snakes in the pit are showing their true colours. The CTV coverage is more biased than even CBC, and they are all shrilling for the Liberals.

One final comment, lay off of PM Harper's family, making it personal because he doesn't kiss his kids is yellow journalism at it's worse. I see by how fast CTV closed the comments on that article that they couldn't take the heat. Disgusting journalism, from mister "Canadian Press" again, sponsored and fostered (let fester) by all lefty papers and media sources.

Beware the snakes in the pit, they want to drag you down to their level. Sometimes it's fun to oblige!

The Canadian Press: Grabbing At Straws!

Now the media is getting desperate to dig up dirt on the Conservatives. Notice how CTV doesn't allow comments of this little article? Maybe because they know voters would laugh at the whole article. I know I did.

Tories opened patronage doors before election: CP

OTTAWA -- The Harper government approved 148 appointments to federal boards and agencies, long used as rewards for supporters of the party in power, as the election neared, The Canadian Press has learned.

Cabinet handed out the posts in three rounds, the first only two days before Parliament recessed for the summer, the second on July 30, at peak holiday time for politicians and political journalists, and the third less than a week before Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the election for Oct. 14.

Wow, it's a scandal! The government appointed some people to boards. "long used as rewards"....ahem, that would be the Liberals that have used it for rewards. Where is the proof that the Conservatives have done that?? Who is this "Canadian Press" guy, he sure gets around, too scared to use your real name mister "Canadian Press"?

Harper, who railed against Liberal patronage in the 2006 election, later failed to deliver on a campaign pledge to put an independent commission in charge of vetting cabinet appointments. He angrily shelved the idea after opposition MPs refused to ratify his nomination of Gwyn Morgan, a Calgary oil baron who is also a friend of the prime minister, as the commission chair.

Right, thanks for reminding all of us how the opposition treated one of Canada's most respected businessmen. No mention that he was willing to do that job for $1. That was not the oppositions best moment, they let their own far left-wing agenda cheat Canada out of an excellent commissioner.

It's difficult to determine exactly how many of the recent appointments went to members of the federal Conservative party or to provincial Progressive Conservative parties.

Mister "Canadian Press" was only able to track down 8 out 148 who had, or might have voted Conservative, which seems to be some sort of crime. So are the Conservatives only allowed to appoint lefties? Are lefties tired of being away from the trough?

It appears that the only good appointment is a Liberal appointment to mister "Canadian Press". Suck it up princess, Liberals are not the government anymore! Thank goodness!

Free Everything For ALL!

I'm excited about the election now, we get free everything for everyone! That's right folks, everything you ever wanted is yours for the taking. It's like the looting in New Orleans during the hurricane, but it's legal, you get what you have always wanted without working for it!

$400 per child per month, up until 18 years old, yahoo, this will stop abortions. I'm in!!!

Save the planet with a small little green shift to nowhere. Don't let it bother you that nothing can replace oil yet, but what the heck, I'll feel greener. I'm in!!!

These two guys impress me with their strong leadership. I'm in!!!

Okay, I got carried away, I'm not in. Used car salesmen are just that, they try to sell you a piece of junk by promising you the wheels won't fall off, until you leave the sales lot, then you are on your own.

The opposition parties are promising you everything, including the kitchen sink. I can't keep track of the BILLIONS they have promised. I just have one question to the big spending opposition, how many taxpayers do you think there are?

Polluter pays? Dang that would be us.
Free education for all? How much would your business degree be worth if everyone can get one?
Free drugs, free childcare, free housing, free air...oops they are going to tax that. Party time, the government will provide for you no matter what. Don't want to work, no problem. Want to sit at home making babies, no problem. Need food, no problem. Want a house, no problem.

Reminds me of the song "Don't worry, be happy". It's easy to live in LALA land, it's harder to live in the real world where the government doesn't care for you from cradle to grave.

Do voters not understand that the government produces nothing, every single dollar they spend is the one they have taken out of your pocket.

Vote strategically, just say NO to the money grabbing opposition parties. Lefties reach into your pocket with one hand and give it away with the other.

Free everything for all, what's not to like!

Alberta Bashing: Duceppe!

Hey, Duceppe, over here, in Alberta, I have a message for you, you are disgusting. Not just because you want to break up Canada, but because you think Alberta oil sands should be shut down. Let me clue you in, your manufacturing sector relies on Alberta orders to stay alive.

Your equalization payments, for all your socialist programs, they come from Ontario and Alberta. Yup, those "dirty" oil sands are keeping Canada and Quebec going right now, but you are too much of a political creature to understand that. It's always easy to bash Alberta. I'm curious, have you ever been here Duceppe? Or do you just prefer to pretend to know what we are doing?

Look you waste of space, you have NO say in what Alberta does, you think Quebec should have full powers to do what they want, but you slam Alberta for wanting the same thing? Here's something you will not tell people in Quebec because you are so busy blaming Alberta.

If you had to choose between Alberta oil or crude from Algeria and Angola, which should you pick?

This is the decision Quebec Premier Jean Charest faces now that Calgary-based Enbridge Inc. has unveiled plans to pipe heavy crude from the Alberta oil sands to refineries in Montreal for the first time.

Quebec currently relies almost exclusively on imported oil, with Algeria, Britain, Norway, Angola and Venezuela as its main suppliers. The Parti Québécois, along with some leading environmental groups, think it should stay that way. To them, piping in oil from the “tar sands” – the enviros' preferred term – would reverse all of Quebec's progress on climate change.

See, you don't even buy our oil, so butt out of our business. Go ahead, keep buying foreign oil, and don't let Montreal refineries benefit from our own resources, but expect Alberta to support your sorry a$$es.

Over all, Quebec imported almost $14-billion worth of non-Canadian oil in 2007, when crude averaged around $70 (U.S.). That left the province with a massive $10-billion (Canadian) trade deficit that is certain to balloon further this year, given oil's summer price spike (it hit $147 U.S. in July) and a decline in manufacturing exports.

“What Line 9 reversal will do is provide a source of reliable Canadian crude to Montreal-area refineries, helping offset their current reliance on foreign imports,” explained Enbridge spokeswoman Jennifer Varey. “One of the attractions of this approach is that it minimizes the environmental and community impact of pipeline construction.”

Oh dear, what to do, what to do? Quebec doesn't care, they will continue to import foreign oil, and bash Alberta, while Alberta helps them to pay for that foreign oil. They have the votes. We have the oil. If Quebec keeps voting the Bloq, they should start looking to other sources for their welfare cheques. Alberta doesn't need Quebec, but Quebec needs Ontario and Alberta. Hey Duceppe, what will Quebec do if Ontario becomes a have not province like Quebec? Do you separatists have no pride? Are you happy to live off the productivity of the rest of Canada. Are your unions so powerful that you have to bow down to them?

Why is it that debt free Alberta does not have a $7 a day welfare daycare program, but we send you our dollars so you can? Why do you think Quebec culture is better than Alberta's, it's not, it's just different. You do not even want to try to understand the west, we are just your whipping boy. I am tired of your ignorance of the west, I am tired of you bashing us, you show your intolerance ever time you talk about Alberta.

Duceppe you and your party, are the problem in Canada right now, you want to separate from us, yet you suck at the teat of entitlement, grow some balls, join Canada.

Why does Quebec vote for separatists? What can they do for Quebec? NOTHING! They are a rump party that has lost it's relevance in this day and age.

The Bloq is not the only idiotic party:

To the Liberals, your carbon tax will kill our economy.
To the NDP, go ahead, shut down the oil sands, see what jobs are left for your union friends.
To the Greens, do you really think Canadians want to send billions of dollars to Europe to meet Kyoto targets?

Toronto is a big city, but it is no longer the economic engine of our country, resources like oil and mining are, and that requires people who are willing to get down and get dirty. The worker bees, not the drones.

Duceppe, you and your separatist party are disgusting, how could you not love Canada?
Canada has supported Quebec, we have bent over backwards to make you at home, but still people vote to separate, or does Quebec just vote for separatists to hold a gun to the heads of Canadians? Enough.

The Media, No Imagination, No Originality!

They feed off each other like sharks smelling blood. The problem is that they are just copying each other, they all release the same "Canadian Press" story and pretend that they are being original. Look at this story, they change the headline, but that's it, and they get paid for this??

I could go on, but all the stories are the same, nothing original, they take the Canadian Press article and replicate it throughout the news world. No originality, no real journalism, no hunt for quotes from people who attended. Oh, except the one heckler who was two years older than Harper. Hey buddy, if you were at the reunion it must mean that you were held back two grades because of stupidity, but heckle on.

The MSM gets one story, and repeats it. So what are the actual journalists getting paid for? Hey I should get paid because I just repeated the story 5 times, so I should get paid 5 times for posting the story.

The MSM, they do nothing and still get paid, typical lefties.

UPDATE: So I google the author, Alexander Panetta, and what do I find?? This very interesting post from SDA's. They really do eat their own.

Meeting Jason Kenney.

I went to a BBQ for James Rajotte last night and Jason Kenney was the guest speaker. He is an excellent speaker, and from what I understand James and Jason share an apartment in Ottawa, and they are both messy guys. They are also both single, so ladies, take a serious look at those two guys. They are both sweethearts! (Okay you two, your on your own from here.)HA!

My neighbour came with me because my husband is a political deadbeat. Her husband and her were in a refugee camp, and when asked, decided that Canada would be a great place to go. They have never regretted it, they have raised two children, sent them through university, and are now happy to have their first grandchild.

We sometimes get into heated political debates, but it never hurts our relationship. We are both very opinionated, head strong ladies, but we can't argue with our non-political husbands, so the two of us argue, sparks fly, and then we shake hands afterward.

Now, being that I have never seen any real military conflict in my life, and my neighbour was forced to flee for her life, our views on the military and immigration differ, so I was surprised by her response to Jason Kenney's speech. She loved what he said and wanted to shake his hand. She felt an immediate kinship with what he was saying and finally felt that someone understood immigrants.

Now, if my small sample of one immigrant is representative of other immigrants, Jason Kenney is doing a great job of bringing immigrant votes to the Conservatives, not by bribing them, or scaring them, but by talking to them in their own language. Good job Jason!

The Secret Conservative Platform...

Coming soon to a doorstep near you, the Conservative platform....

..Win on your record!

There it is folks, in all it's glory!

Now, this is not acceptable to lefties, they don't want the Conservatives releasing a policy a day. They want everything out in the open right now, so that they can steal the platform and make it theirs. They can't stand the suspense of what the Conservatives might have up their sleeves. You see, they do not understand that good governance doesn't need a new and improved platform, good governance can stand on it's own record.

I'm sure the Conservatives have a "blue book" all ready to go, probably after the debates. When playing cards do you reveal your hand right away, like the Liberals green shift, or do you get the opposition to give you their platform, and then wait for the debates to comment/destroy their position?

Seems the Globe and Mail can't wait. Three weeks into the campaign, the Conservatives have not yet released a platform. Do they need to release one soon? Could they go the entire campaign without doing so?

Read the comments of Gerald Caplan (former NDP campaign manager), he is so far out to lunch that he thinks he's making sense, even Scott (beer and popcorn) Reid makes more sense than this guy.

First off, he is childish with his name calling:

The other was whatever the Bush neo-cons wanted it to be....
The Bushies who run the John McCain campaign - Steve Schmidt et al - have had no trouble bringing him over to the dark side....

Then, he spews pure lefty fear mongering garbage:

Do you think Stephen Harper and some of his more reprehensible henchmen aren't fully aware of what their soul-brothers down south have added to the dignity of the democratic process?

War and peace, national unity, the entire economy, child porn - all are grist for his political wiles.

How old is this guy? Well here is his picture.

Obviously he's old enough to get his point across without using slick innuendo, but not mature enough to write honestly. No wonder he has sad defeated looking eyes and his age lines are deeply ingrained frown lines. This person seems disappointed with life and blames it not on his own distorted world view, but on Conservatives, and particularly on Stephen Harper.

His last line reveals his complete lack of respect for any "reality" but his own.

Mr. Harper should beware: Sometimes real reality actually wins out.

Not your "real reality" Caplan, your reality is bashing Harper and trying to make him look like Bush, when the question was about releasing a political platform. Well, we see what the NDP platform is, through your eyes, and it isn't pretty, it is petty and mean. Your face outlines the NDP platform better than any words from used car salesman Layton!

Harper Rocks Edmonton!

It was fun, it was electric. PM Harper, up close and personal, rocked. Barn burner? Yup. So much for the lefty papers stating that Alberta was feeling ignored. Alberta Conservatives are more mature than that, they know who the "one" really is.

Was anyone complaining about the long lines and the long wait? Not one single person that I heard in the lineup was upset. I did suggest that we should have snaked the lineup through the bar, it would have made the wait more enjoyable. HA!

Some clips from the event, the first one is a killer.

A strong mandate? Would that be, dare I say it a MAJ..., okay, not going to tempt the .....voters. Will Loopy May throw her voters to the Liberals? Seeing as the greens are a protest vote, who cares what May does. Personally after seeing PM Harper up close, after being in the room, not just watching it on CPAC or CTV, Harper rocked Edmonton.

God Bless Canada is back in his closing. That is an in your face ending, meant to upset all the lefty latte sipping, supposed intellectuals, who think Suzuki is their god. It made me happy. Out of all the chatter, I noticed that, and the singing of "Oh Canada", it was important. It suggests to me that he understands the grass roots of the party, the law abiding people that just want to raise their kids and live a good, respectful, happy life, without fear.

Rock on Harper!! Go get 'em!

Rally In Edmonton!

Just got back from the Harper rally in Edmonton. It was electric! Over 1000 Conservatives all packed into a room, making noise and enjoying Harper's speech.

We waited in long lines, then we were packed in there like sardines, one poor old fellow even fainted near the end. I made two new friends in the lineup. It was easy to start talking because we knew we were all there for the same reason. We were Conservatives, meeting other Conservatives to show support for our MP's and Stephen Harper.

Harper's voice is sounding a little raw, and up close his hair is quite gray, but he was pumped and he looked like he was having fun.

He had us laughing about Dion's shifting the shift. He said something to the effect that Dion was so busy shifting the shift, that he wasn't even sure what colour the shift was. Too funny! Very subtle, but the crowd got it.

I walked away with a great big Harper sign, and more enthusiasm for this election than before. He got the crowd pumped, and now we need to get out there and get the voters pumped.

We ARE better off with Harper!

Harper and Dion Unscripted!

This is my last attack on Dion because it's not even fun anymore. No, wait, better not let up until they are gone for good. As Dion tells us, he likes to be the underdog. So who am I to give the guy any slack. Being in fourth place in BC is bad enough, but not even being able to remember which PM did what, is sad.

Take a good look at that tape. PM Harper is sharp, focused and seems to be having fun. Dion is confused, flops at his joke, and is extremely embarrassing.

The Conservatives are running on "united, strong and free" as their platform. The Liberals have "richer, fairer, greener" as theirs. Personally, "united, strong and free" makes me feel good about my country. "Richer, fairer and greener" makes me check to see if my wallet is still there.

Greens Lead Liberals In BC!!

That's what the newest Harris Decima poll states.

"In British Columbia, the Conservatives lead with 37%, followed by the NDP with 26%, the Greens at 19% and the Liberals at 15%."

Funny how they don't seem to have the BC chart so that we can verify that statement. They have the chart of the Quebec voters and the Ontario voters, but the BC voters are strangely absent. The Greens are at 19% leading the bottom feeding Liberals at 15%? Why isn't this headline news? It certainly is shocking.

Oh well, it's just another poll. HA.

Dion And Carbon Taxes.....

They better hurry up and get them implemented because the window is closing.

Sun's wind and output on extended dimmer switch

WASHINGTON -- The sun has dialled back its furnace to the lowest levels seen in the space age, new measurements from a space probe show.

But don't worry -- it's too small a difference to change life on Earth, scientists say.

Right, could it mean global cooling? No furnace, no heat.

And for the first time in about a century, the sun went for two months this summer without sunspots, said NASA solar physicist David Hathaway.

That record was broken Monday when a cluster of eight sunspots surfaced.

Sunspots are temporary regions of high magnetic activity that from Earth appear to be black splotches.

The cause for the sun's slight weakening seems to be a change in its magnetic flux, said Dave McComas of the Southwest Research Institute......

But scientists said Tuesday the sun is in "a very prolonged minimum." Typically a solar minimum lasts about a year, but this low point has gone on since the summer of 2006.

It is "like turning down the heat on a stove," said McComas, a scientist who used the Ulysses solar probe to document a significantly weaker solar wind.

Global cooling, not warming, but the faux scientists won't admit it, they might lose their funding. The media won't tell you about it because it will decrease paper sales, and make them look like idiots because they have been shrilling for the eco-nuts.

Funny, Suzuki was in Edmonton today, and my husband was at the conference, he couldn't understand why no-one was there. The bloom is frost bitten, and people are starting to understand that a carbon tax, is a tax grab by Liberal elitists and phony carbon credit companies.

What will be happening 4 years from now, during the next election? Will the Liberals be promoting a cooling tax? It has become increasingly obvious that global warming is a scam, and Canadians aren't buying it anymore. Why aren't the opposition parties YELLING about Kyoto and how the Conservatives killed it? HA, chickens. Speaking of chickens....

A cartoon leader for the Liberals. Every time he shakes his head, he reminds me of Beavis and Butthead, every time he talks about the green shift, he reminds me of Kermit.

It's not easy being green, especially if you can't get your carbon tax off the ground, to fund all your social programs. What scares me the most is that once a carbon tax is imposed on us, it will be such a money generator for the government they will never get rid of it, like the GST.

Say NO to a carbon tax.

Wake Up Alberta!

You know how the media was telling us the Alberta Liberals were going to make big gains in the last provincial election, and we came out and showed by our vote that they were wrong?

Well it's time for Alberta Conservatives to rise up again, but this time it is more important, one lost seat could mean the difference between a majority and a minority.

I noticed a disturbing trend at the door this weekend, Conservatives were complaisant, and voters for the opposition were really ticked off. They are motivated, our voters, not so much, they think we have this election in the bag. We do not. Every riding is a fight, staying at home is not an option.

Wake up Alberta! Get motivated like the last federal election when we could smell victory, when we hungered for the win, when our hearts beat faster because, finally, after 13 dark years we might, just might, win. And we did, we won a slim minority.

The rush when we did it, when we slayed the Liberal dragon, felt soooo good, but that was 2 and a half years ago, the trumpets are not sounding so loud in our ears, the heart beats have slowed, and we just ASSUME we will turn the whole province blue again.

That is our mistake. We are happy because we are in, finally. Wake up Alberta, our vote counts, even if Quebec and Ontario have the most votes, we have proven that we count too, that we have a voice, without us, the Liberals would have won again. If we sit at home expecting other Conservatives to carry the vote, we will lose. We are complaisant, we think we have power because we have oil, but if we have no voice in Ottawa, Dion gets to kill our jobs and create a new NEPII that will suck the life out of Alberta and Saskatchewan as surely as the first Trudeau NEP did.

We face death by carbon tax from the Liberals and Greens. The NDP want to shut down the oilsands. The only party that will protect energy resources is the Conservative party. Do not sit back and think Alberta is safe because the polls favour the Conservatives, this is not a time to get complaisant, it is a time for action, a time to make our voices heard.

Alberta does not deserve to suffer death by carbon taxes. Remember once a tax is imposed, it is never rescinded, like income taxes and the GST, they will never go away.

Let's remind you of the carbon tax...oops green shift, and Jane Taber shrilling for Dion.

Get out and vote Alberta, never ASSUME!

Socialism Sucks!

Here's a very interesting analysis of why the US and global market is tanking so badly. It's a long listen, but very informative. Crap loans to people who can't own homes, and institutionalized corruption are only a few of the more interesting comments he makes.

Mark Levin is a Conservative radio host, and he really can't stand lefties. For a quick idea of what he's like, watch this short video.

Or this one about Michelle Obama:

He's rude, but very informative about what has caused the sub-prime meltdown.

You Know That Freaky Guy Who Posts On Your Blog...

....well I met him today, and he's scary because he is so stupid, he thinks he's making a point.

I like door knocking, but I'm here in Alberta, Conservative country. We targeted areas today that voted for our MP, but not by a majority. Our MP, James Rajotte, won ALL polls in his area. Think about that, every single poll voted for him. I know, I know, all you other door knockers can only wish.

Let me be clear, (doesn't Harper say that?) James wins votes from all parties because he is an excellent MP. He listens to his constituents, he helps them, and he ran one of the only committees that got anything done, the industry committee. For that alone, he should be re-elected. Okay, enough praise for James. To all my (2, okay 3) Edmonton readers, vote for James if you live in his area.

How did door knocking go? Most people were not home. Seeing as we were in a fairly affluent area, I suspect most people were closing their cabins for the winter. Most people who were home, were still undecided or not paying attention. It's a non-election in Alberta. I just hope the Conservatives come out to vote.

One guy mowing his lawn, was way over the top. He complained that the $100 a month childcare benefit meant his stay at home wife was now taxed. She had to go out and work so they could keep their house. Remember we were door knocking in an area where the houses were huge, and the yards were even bigger. This jacka$$ is telling us they only get $18 a month from the universal childcare benefit. I was glad to have a male door knocker with me, because this guy was seriously out of control. All blogger's get those weirdo commentators, but they are viewed from a distance, this guy was up close and personal. Okay, as all doorknockers know, you do not engage creatures like that, you move on, so we did.

As we were door knocking on the opposite side of the street, his wife pulls up, with their tiny little baby that they were getting $100 a month for.....she was 14 years old if she was a day. He looked over at us and didn't even blush. Typical lefty, lie, shout, lie some more and shout it louder.

This made me think about what door knockers in the GTA area are going through right now, and I appreciate your courage and dedication to the Conservative cause. Don't give up. Go get 'em!!

Friday Funnies: Bet You Peek!

Guess the nationality.....

Not going to tell you yet, no peeking! (You peeked didn't you?)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Giving Up Wine

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner.

I took out my wallet, got out ten dollars and asked, 'If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it instead of dinner?'

'No, I had to stop drinking years ago', the homeless woman told me.

'Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food?' I asked.

'No, I don't waste time shopping,' the homeless woman said. 'I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive.'

'Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food?' I asked.

'Are you NUTS!' replied the homeless woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years!'
'Well, I said, 'I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight.'

The homeless Woman was shocked. 'Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell pretty disgusting.'

I said, 'That's okay. It's important for him to see what a woman looks like after she has given up shopping, hair appointments, and wine.'

The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in Canada ..

Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Liberal Party.....as they have apparently
learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance.

Grandma Tells CPAC What's What!

Too funny, Nic and Peter are busy trying to be non-partisan, then Granny calls, and tells them what's what!

Nic wants us to think talk at the water cooler is going to sink the Conservatives over cold cuts, and totally avoids any of the issues that Grandma brings up. Peter wants everyone to know that they handled the Garth situation, and Granny skewers both of them.

Go Granny!

Palin Gets Hacked!

This just shows the stupidity of the lefties. Illegally hack the e-mail account of Governor Sarah Palin. Dummies.

The cryptic Internet posse known for its attacks on Scientology may have found a new target in Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Several self-proclaimed members of Anonymous, a loosely organized group commonly associated with the message board 4Chan, apparently breached the Alaska Governor's personal Yahoo! account (gov.palin@yahoo.com) late Tuesday night.

What was gained? Nothing, except showing how scared the lefties are of Sarah Palin. Hey, Anon-y-mouses, do you hear that knock on your door?

Update: Palin E-Mail Hacking Brings Campaign to a New Low

Steady As She Goes!

My, my, didn't all the big spenders come out today! Billions promised to buy our votes. Well, except for one party, they want to change some laws about tobacco products that affect our kids. Hey, it's not sexy like throwing BILLIONS at education and daycare, but parents will like it.

The big contrast I am seeing is all the lefty parties, without exception, are promising the moon, with our money. They are like Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Jolly Green Giant, all rolled up into 4 separate parties. Soon I expect to see Superman, Batman, and Spiderman swooping down on my city to save us from the dreaded Darth Vader of Canada. HA!

I can not distinguish the Liberals from the NDP and Greens anymore. They are all promising the same things. If I was a lefty (As IF!) I would be wondering who to vote for, Larry, Curly, or Moe.

In stark contrast, is the Conservative party. They have proposed simple, understandable and low cost policies, nothing world shaking, nothing that would put us into a deficit, just, dare I say it??? Common Sense.

Steady as she goes, or outrageous spending promises? I choose steady as she goes.

Go Nasty, Attack Harper!

So, Martin Goldfarb basically tells Liberals to attack Harper, not the Conservatives. He brings up the "right to choose" and more unsettling, he brings PM Harper's daughter into it.

Are the Liberal supporters so desperate that they are now reduced to attacking the man and his family, and not the party and policies?

Given that it appears that Martin Goldfarb is an old Trudeau relic, maybe it's a good thing that the Dion Liberals have left him on the outside looking in.

Oh, by the way, PM Harper is always holding his daughter's hand. To accuse him of being a bad father is really stooping to a low point. But they did it last election with this picture:

Remember? The "experts" said Ben wasn't hugging his Dad and that was a problem. Well, don't do it this time Liberals/experts/lefties....Canadians have seen enough of the Harper family to be protective of them. Leave them out of this election.

Go negative all you want on the party and it's policies, but leave the Harper family alone. Funny how Liberals accuse PM Harper of being too close to Bush, and then they turn around and recommend using American style election campaigning. Sad really.

Someone Thinks It's Brilliant!

That's what the experts say, and we know how the media uses lefty experts all the time to disagree with Conservative policies, so how did it go this time?

First the policy. Harper announces new parental leave program

Self-employed Canadians will have access to a new parental leave program if the Conservatives are re-elected, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Monday. The initiative targets more than 2.6 million Canadians who work for themselves but the party is aiming the program specifically at female entrepreneurs.

Now, one Liberal hack, and two experts.

Seems the experts agree that it's brilliant. I do too.

It's a small change that will potentially affect millions of self employed individuals, not just women.

What is impressing me the most is that Conservatives are proposing family friendly, low cost policies while the Liberals and NDP are promising the sky and being totally irresponsible with taxpayers money.

If the green shift is going to generate 18 Billion in revenue FOR the government, where is that 18 Billion coming from? Let's say it's the big polluters who are going to pay. Who are they? Taxpayers.

The government produces nothing. Let me repeat that, the government produces nothing. They generate revenue by taxation. Who do they tax? Us.

The big bad oil producer gets their money from...us. The taxes they pay come from...us.

It's time for us to say enough is enough. To take a favorite phrase from the feminists and change it a bit.

It's our money, and our choice! Vote wisely.

Okay, I Can't Help Myself!!

I'VE GONE NATIONAL!!! Okay, okay, so it's a link to my site from the National Post, but they are my favorite national paper.... now! HA!

Seriously, I am glad that Kelly McParland has brought this issue to the forefront. Danny can campaign all he wants against PM Harper, but when he starts using his power as a Premier to intimidate voters and candidates, he has gone too far.

Thank you Kelly McParland, for linking to my site, but mainly for understanding that this is an issue that needs to be addressed in the media. This is not just an, oh well that's Danny, issue. We lived with Ralph Klein for years, and he was as outspoken and popular as Williams, but he never tried to railroad us to vote Conservative. He respected us more than that, and we returned the respect with our votes for him.

Most importantly Klein never deliberately did anything to hurt Alberta when he was Premier, but that is what Williams is doing, he is ignoring the effects a green shift would have on his province to play petty politics. Shame on you Williams.

Campaign Of Intimidation Part 2

If Robert Fife from CTV wasn't persuasive enough, here is a former Fisheries Minister from Newfoundland, who pretty much agrees that intimidation is happening in Newfoundland. Big story here in Canada!!! NOT! Didn't I say what that would indicate in my last post?

Media bias is so bad that they are even shutting their own reporters up! This is still Canada isn't it, or have we all somehow moved to Cuba?

Listen to what Jim Morgan a former Fisheries Minister has to say about what has been going on in Newfoundland.

Hello Elections Canada, if you are investigating a vote trading scheme on Facebook, could you maybe also look into these even more serious allegations of intimidation? Just asking. Has Canada become a third world country while I was pickling my beets today?

Campaign Of Intimidation!

Here in Canada, not in Cuba!! I have never heard CTV reporter Robert Fife so upset. This is not puffin pooh we are talking about, we are talking about allegedly outright intimidation of Conservatives in Newfoundland! If this doesn't make headlines across Canada, we the people, will know that the MSM is so biased they can't report on a real story because it involves a Conservative PM.

High praise goes out to CTV's Robert Fife for this report. He listened to the people of Newfoundland, and understood the seriousness of what they were saying.

Joanne over at Blue Like You broke this story on blogs, and she has the links to the CTV site that will give you the full story. She has the video link to Jim Morgan backing up what Robert Fife said. It is worth the listen!

This is a serious crack in our democracy. It's one thing for a Premier to have a campaign against a Prime Minister, but to allegedly have people intimidate voters, to have people threaten candidates into not running because their parents businesses might be targeted and closed down, is going way too far!

This is Canada, not Cuba! Where is Elections Canada??

UPDATE: Welcome All National Post readers. Thank you Kelly McParland for considering this an important enough issue to put on your site.

Headlines For Puffins, Blogs For Pigs!

Media strategy...print only Conservative bad stuff, like puffins, otherwise ignore anything good. Cover up all Liberal bad stuff, or bury it so deep, the average voter will never hear about it. Headlines for puffins, blogs for pigs!

As an average working non-political Canadian, what did my husband see of the election campaign last week? The six o'clock news tidbits, and what was printed in the papers. He did not even go to my blog, he thinks blogs are just silly, and are not worth reading. I expect he is very typical of the average Canadian voter. The media knows this, and they are using this to their advantage.

Have you noticed how some media sites are very selective on which articles allow comments? Have you noticed how articles getting unfavourable comments for the Conservatives stay open for 600 comments, but one's with favourable comments are shut down very quickly? How articles you want to comment on, like the Green Shift, almost never allow comments? Wonder why that would be? Some articles even show that comments have been posted, but when you click to read them, they have all mysteriously disappeared.

The average Canadian doesn't pay attention to all this, only us political junkies. The bias is sometimes very subtle, but it is there. Remember that most people only scan the headlines and maybe read the first line or two of an article. Here's some examples.

Headline is positive, but what's with the "days of negative media coverage"? You see, they are admitting that they have been providing negative coverage, and they can't understand why the polls are still going in the Conservative's favour. Is the negative media coverage planned? You think?

White on black writing beside a picture of PM Harper and Laureen. We are doomed!!

Are positive polls a problem? With that head scratching picture, the PM sure seems thinks so, or that's the perception the media wants to portray.

Targeting Canadians?? Scary!!

Mocks Harper?? Wow, tough guy Dion. Dion is going to make a deal with BC, and he is mocking PM Harper? I'm impressed. Not!

All those examples were from only one news source, imagine how many others I could have found. The average Canadian doesn't care about puffins unless the media makes it an issue. Seems to me that the media is MAKING the news lately, not just reporting it.

Media bias?? Oh, you can bet on it. As long as we let them get away with it, ad revenues will keep them going.

Where is the article about Liberal MP Thibault calling the Prime Minister a pig? Buried deep in the coverage of the election. Taber: Spinning out of Control. It's not a headline, it's on Taber's blog!!! So puffins make headlines, but a Liberal MP calling the PM a pig, not so much.

Really, the bias of the media is totally disgusting. I'm not saying they shouldn't have covered the puffin, but how about equal headlines for the pig??

Friday Funnies: Read My Lipstick!

Top Ten Things Barrack Obama can ask Sarah Palin when he meets her the first time.

10- How do you load a gun?
9 - Is hunting scary?
8 - How do you get the bait on that hook thingy?
7 - What's it like having a spouse that isn't angry all the time?
6 - You were mayor, then governor, what's a budget?
5 - I've never delegated. Do you have a canned speech for that?
4 - What does "meeting a payroll" mean?
3 - Why do you have so many kids; haven't you ever heard of an abortion?
2 - What's it like actually being an executive?
1 - Yeah, but do the Germans like you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Obama is the lefty love, but never discount righty voters.

Okay, I love that one, and every female should send Obama her lipstick to send a message!

Dear Mr. Obama

One final comment. Some have suggested that the McCain Campaign paid for this ad. Nothing could be further from the truth.

McCain would never use soldiers for political gain. He has honored them, but he will not use them.

Unlike the Obama who has used Tammy Duckworth to score political points. McCain has such reverance and respect for our military men and women, he would never use them as political posters.

Nuff said.

Too bad our media does not have the same respect for our military.

I grew up in a town that had an army base a few miles (yeah, yeah, I'm still not metric) away. My father worked on that base, although he was not "in the army", it kept us fed, and gives my parents a good pension.

I hated how the "townies" thought they were so much better than the people serving our country. Talk about biting the hand of the people who feed you, they loved having the soldiers in their bars and restaurants, but didn't want to "associate" with them. That's why I left, and never went back.

Elitist thinking. Like Obama. Like lefties. They think they are the only ones who understand what we need, not as individuals, but as some sort of "collective" society. They can't stand Conservatives because we don't band together for the "common cause". We don't protest, and we don't file human rights complaints. We are too busy working and volunteering. We are the silent majority.

Don't let them fool you into thinking that they are the majority. They are not. They are a vocal minority, and it's time for the silent majority to swat them down with our votes.

Minna Mouth!

Maybe Dion should put Maria Minna up against May in the debates, they both mouth off without listening to anyone. Watch Jason Kenney's eyebrows in the last bit of the exchange, priceless!!

It appears that even in Liberal Land, the MP's are scared. The problem appears to be that they don't know who to fight, the Conservatives or the NDP, so, as shown in this clip, they are fighting both. Not a winning strategy.

PM Harper and the Conservatives have their targets, the Liberals and the Bloq, this leaves the NDP free to target the Liberals and Greens. Now we have the Greens in the debate, it should get interesting. Four lefty parties against one righty party. It sure is getting crowded on the left these days.

We know the Liberals and the Greens are working together.

OTTAWA — Elizabeth May says she won't endorse Liberal Leader Stephane Dion during the current election campaign.
There's no need. Long before the election writ was dropped last Sunday, the Green party leader had repeatedly touted Dion as her choice for Canada's next prime minister.
Yet she professed surprise when Prime Minister Stephen Harper effectively vetoed her participation in the televised leaders' debates on the grounds that she'd be little more than a stalking horse for Dion.

Where the heck are the Rhinos to take away the protest vote from the Greens? Will true Greens shift their vote to the Liberals? Not the Greens I know. So, where will the protest voters shift once they really listen to May?

Funny how the election is about stopping a majority for the Conservatives, not voting for the candidate/party that you support. Will blow hard Danny Boy's ABC work? HA! He's the new Ralph Klein, except lefties love him. Maybe he will be the Liberals next leader. Why not, they have Rae from the NDP's. Talk about an identity crisis, the Liberals stand for nothing because they don't have a clue what Canadian values really are!

If You Were A Vegetable...

what vegetable would you be? Here is a funny moment in PM Harper's campaign stops. Funny how only CPAC seemed to show the whole thing!

Anyways, here is a light start to your day.

So, I'm wondering, what kind of vegetable IS PM Harper. How about Dion and Layton? This should provide some amusement.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Vote For Me!

My day 3 impressions.

Oil; Alberta and Saskatchewan are going Conservative after Layton's and Dion's scheme's to hurt our economies, who else can we vote for? NDP Duncan, in Rahim Jaffer's Edmonton riding, is going to pay for Layton's oil sand slam. Sure the university groupies Duncan has surrounding her are cheering, but it's a big riding, many people living there work in the oil patch, and Rahim is very popular. Duncan is living in a lefty world at the UofA. I predict real Edmontonian's are going to show her for the THIRD time, that talking about taking their jobs away isn't a vote getter. Her only hope is getting Liberals to shift (HA) their votes to her.

Diesel; Count on all farmers, truckers, and rural people to vote Conservative. This will resonate with anyone not living in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. The econuts are against this, but what do they ever produce but hot air? They do nothing, you never see them in Africa planting crops, all you ever see is the econuts protesting in polar bear suits.

Afghanistan; Count on military members, veterans, and their families to support the Conservatives after this message from the Taliban. The only party that has been standing up for our military has been the Conservatives, with the Liberals, who actually sent us there, dragging behind them. Liberal support of the Tamal Tigers, Hezbollah, and voting down the tough security bill, one of the only times they stood up in Parliament to vote, has seriously harmed their brand.

Dion Re-branded; Please! Are we going to see him hunting moose with Sarah Palin next? It's not going to work, his image is made, just like the Liberals branded Stockwell Day way back when.

Day 3, the most exciting thing that happened was a puffin, oh and don't they hide their excrement? If that's the best that the MSM can do, sorry not buying it. No-one is going to change their vote over puffin pooh.

Maybe I can't get excited about this election because we are not the underdogs anymore. We are not clawing our way out of the 13 year wilderness and hoping to take power. Maybe it's just because I'm sitting here in Conservative country, sure of getting my MP re-elected. What I do know is that it's dangerous to think this race is a done deal. It's not, one little puffin miss-step, like beer and popcorn, could change everything.

I almost wish I could be door knocking in a close riding, just for the excitement of fighting to win. Maybe I will toddle off to Rahim's riding (right next door) to see if they need a door knocker, I love talking to lefty university students, they are like blank slates, they passionately support a cause, then forget to go and vote.

King of Obstension

Bit of a mish mash, but that's how most working people are seeing this election. Sound bites while eating supper. Most voters are still busy getting the kids to school and then getting themselves to work. No-one at work yesterday cared about the election. Not one person mentioned it. The only ones liking it are the MSM, and they are doing a shifty job of it.

Dion is a perfect example of Peter's Principle, being elevated above his level of competence. The guy is out of his depth and floundering like the cod I caught in PEI. I would feel sorry for him except he is a Liberal, and has moved that party so far to the left that Layton looks conservative! Speaking of Layton, he just told all people west of Manitoba to bug off. He wants to close down the oil sands....right, kill the whole Canadian economy because you want votes?

I like the contrast in the video between PM Harper and Dion. As a voter, who would you choose?

NOT Dysfunctional? Are You Kidding ME??

Way back in March, I posted a Youtube video showing how dysfunctional Parliament had become. I re-post it to show you how bad this Parliament had become. Remember this is way back in March....

So, to those opposition people (see I didn't use lefties! HA!) who think Parliament was working, get real!

Also contrast the slogans:

Liberals: Greener, richer, fairer
Conservatives: United, strong and free

Can you sissy Liberals come down from your elitist cloud and realize that the average Joe Blow Canadian can not relate to you and your message? Right over your heads I see, oh well, at least the Conservatives get it!

Why Vote Conservative!

With an election about to be called, my question is why vote Conservative?

Let's get rid of the garbage first...

1. Harper eats kittens. (Only if they are 5 days old and boiled in OIL)
2. Harper is scary! (Either he is a makeup wearing, hair dresser loving guy, or he is just a guy who needs some gray haired touch up)
3. Harper hates Canada. (He also wants to hunt polar bears and wipe them off the face of the earth while eating kittens.)
4. Harper has a hidden agenda. ( refer to point 1, eating kittens and OIL).
5. Harper is owned by big OIL! (Oil is bad, no more heat in houses, caves are better.)

Add to the list.

Why vote Conservative? To stop all the baby kitten eating!

Seriously, when all the parties admit they are going to go negative, it shows how desperate they are, so vote Conservative to stop them from themselves!

O... Oprah!

It appears Oprah is going to pay for her support of Obama, better known as the big O, or as I have seen recently, the big zero.

The comments are very interesting.

If Oprah's intention was to prevent the show from being used as a platform showcase, I wonder what the reasoning is of having Obama as a guest of the show twice. Maybe if it was Hilary, or if Palin was a democrat, Oprah would make an exception for her like she did for Obama.

This is the problem Oprah faces, she has used her show to openly support Obama, she has become political. She has somehow forgotten that her money and position came from ALL people, not just Democrats. Women has been her biggest viewers, both Democrats and Republicans. She is showing she is not fair and balanced. She is not a movie star who can live off of the next movie, she is a talk show host who can be hurt badly by Republican women tuning her out.

It's apparently more important to her to break the race barrier than to break the "glass ceiling" that is always talked about.

Oprah is typical of the liberal female left....they are only open minded if you agree with them. Oprah cannot have Palin on.....an on air interview would give Sarah Palin a forum to be heard. All the left wants to do now is silence Palin. So much for free speech.

Oprah has a large group of women who watch her show, and she supports Obama. So in a way she's using her show to promote for him. Having Palin on the show, I think would scare her, as to losing a lot of women supporters of Obama.

Just a few examples from the comments. It's not looking good for Oprah. It's a shame because I respected her for how far she had come from the background she grew up in. Now, her fame has gone to her head. Entertainment celebrities should stay out of politics.

The Old Girls!

Three mischievous old Grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home when an old Grandpa walked by.

And one of the old Grandmas yelled out saying, "We bet we can tell exactly how old you are."

The old man said, "There is no way you can guess it, you old fools."

One of the old Grandmas said, "Sure we can! Just drop your pants and under shorts and we can tell your exact age."

Embarrassed just a little, but anxious to prove they couldn't do it,he dropped his drawers. The Grandmas asked him to first turn around a couple of times and to jump up and down several times. Then they all piped up and said, "You're 87 years old!"

Standing with his pants down around his ankles, the old gent asked,"How in the world did you guess?" Slapping their knees and grinning from ear to ear, the three old ladies happily yelled in unison - -

"We were at your birthday party yesterday!"

Straight Talk!

Some of the posters I saw tonight during McCain's speech said "Straight Talk", and that's what I think McCain did tonight. Dynamo Duo, McCain and Palin. They complement each other very well, and I can see why McCain picked Sarah, they are two peas in a pod.

Funny how Obama just seems so lack luster now. The glow is off and people are starting to see the worm. The one thing that makes me sad is that I am disappointed in Oprah. I remember watching her show years ago and she had Obama on, she was in love with him then, and she had a lot to do will him being where he is today. Funny how she didn't support Hillary. So much for the sisterhood. I haven't watched her show since she publicly supported him. Celebrities should stay out of politics, just like teachers should present opposing views of things like the environment. They have too much power and can do too much harm with that power.

I liked the speech, McCain stayed true to himself, he didn't try to be anything phony. If America chooses an empty suit over this excellent hero, I will be deeply disappointed. It would be like Canadians choosing Dion over PM Harper. Yet even here in Alberta, Liberals spout off about Conservatives, they have blinders on and a real hate of anything Conservative. They put party first and Country second.

It's time for both Americans and Canadians to put COUNTRY FIRST, not party.

SCORE!

Sarah Palin knocked one out of the park tonight! What a class act! She introduced her family and did not rise to the media bait. She did not attempt to "justify" anything, she mentioned that her family has bumps, just like every other family. SCORE!

She cross checked Obama and his lack of experience. SCORE!

Here is your typical feminist response:

Lisa
I thought women came a long way now this woman sarah wants to put us back in the stone age. Please

This disgusts me to no end, because even women are trying to destroy Sarah.

Well, Lisa, if you are as "progressive" as you think you are, you should be supporting the Governor of Alaska, she's the real deal! If you can't see that, or refuse to see that, you are a follower not a leader, you are so insecure that you can't support a strong woman. In other words, you are a loser who will probably vote for Dion because he is so non-threatening. PM Harper probably makes you shake in your boots because he's a take charge kind of guy, and very threatening to your "welfare for life" dreams.

Get out of the 60's you feminists, the time when an unmarried pregnant teen was a disgrace are GONE! Funny how the "progressives" are attacking a 17 year old teen for CHOOSING to keep her baby. Killing that baby would have been better in their eyes.

Well, Sarah Palin just clued a lot of fake women in, and make no mistake, this is about to become the special interest feminists against Palin. What these deather's don't understand is that some women CHOOSE to keep their babies, no matter what the trials, because they respect life.

Sarah Palin just scored a big one, and boarded Obama into the glass. That glass ceiling just cracked wide open and real women understand that, big time!

Go McCain/Palin! SCORE!

A Real Conservative, Sarah Palin!

Hillary never inspired anything but contempt in me. She is a weak woman, taking all the garbage her husband dishes out because she might get elected as President. No strong independent woman would vote for her, and my American female friends agree. Would I vote for Sarah Palin? In a heartbeat. Here is an interview that reveals some of how she thinks, watch them all, it's worth it.

I hope you watched them all, I'm sure the Democrats have, trying to get dirt on her. I am totally disgusted by the lefties attacking a 17 year old girl to gain advantage. It will backfire, because most women will feel the same way I do. You always protect your "cubs" from danger, (unless you abort them, that's kind of like a mother pig eating her own young) these attacks are getting my back up and I'm a Canadian! I can't imagine how much more determined American women are in their support of McCain and Palin.

Lefties, Lefties, Lefties!

There, did I tick all you lefties off?? HA. So what have lefties been up to lately?

1. In America, they are accusing Governor Palin of faking the birth of her 5th child, covering up for her 17 year old daughter, who was the "real" mother. Nice! As if a 17 year old doesn't have enough problems. It appears she does, but it's none of our business. CTV mentions it every 15 minutes though, now that's real classy. NOT.

2. Dean
The second Harper breaks his election date law, he MUST be arrested!!!
Wow! A little over the top there buddy! Lefties...we disagree with everything this government is doing, but PM Harper better not call an election, like we wanted just days ago, because, because, well, because ummm....he's a BULLY!

3. They start with the scare tactics....Harper Tories on the brink of majority, poll finds The Conservatives have been polling around 36% for about 2 years, give or take a few percents, now at 37%, we get "brink of a MAJORITY"?
Well, well, how convenient, let's pull out the M word, we know how that scared voters in 2004. Have the MSM been hiding the real polls from us? Is that why all opposition parties are running scared? Won't work this time, voters have seen the Conservatives in action, and they still like them!

Better sharpen up your attacks lefties, I smell an election in the air! Oh, and try to keep to the facts, and not things that are being disputed before the courts. What next, are we going to hear about how PM Harper shakes his son's hand at school again? Yes, I know I'm mixing up American and Canadian lefties, but they are all the same anyways. Or would you prefer to be called...well, I can't think of a more polite word to call lefties, so lefties it is!!

Why should Canadians vote for any of the opposition parties? That's what Canadian voters are going to be asking.
