My, my, didn't all the big spenders come out today! Billions promised to buy our votes. Well, except for one party, they want to change some laws about tobacco products that affect our kids. Hey, it's not sexy like throwing BILLIONS at education and daycare, but parents will like it.
The big contrast I am seeing is all the lefty parties, without exception, are promising the moon, with our money. They are like Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Jolly Green Giant, all rolled up into 4 separate parties. Soon I expect to see Superman, Batman, and Spiderman swooping down on my city to save us from the dreaded Darth Vader of Canada. HA!
I can not distinguish the Liberals from the NDP and Greens anymore. They are all promising the same things. If I was a lefty (As IF!) I would be wondering who to vote for, Larry, Curly, or Moe.
In stark contrast, is the Conservative party. They have proposed simple, understandable and low cost policies, nothing world shaking, nothing that would put us into a deficit, just, dare I say it??? Common Sense.
Steady as she goes, or outrageous spending promises? I choose steady as she goes.

It should be obvious when Dion lowballs his national pharmacare plank. Last time they floated this one the estimates where between 7 and 12 billion to implement.

But then he is announcing this with Rae at his side.
I wonder how ameniable the voters of Ontario will be to the thought of prospect of Buffalo Bob being in a cabinet post like finance.
Well it will be Ritz all day, hopefully countered with Rae Days.
Iggy pops onto the scene today. Mr 'I won't lose any sleep over it' has surfaced.
I don't get how another professor, American no less, with 2.5 years experience as an MP, and a Dipper that ruined the Ontario economy, is a strong front bench...??
Martha & Dryden same short term experience.
No matter how many times Craig Oliver says how strong it is, Dion`s front bench is a pretty shallow pool.
Harper`s team has been re-elected numerous times, hold cabinet positions and are about to be re-elected.
Actually, the cons have promised 19 billion in spending. They did it all before they called the election.
So, in fact, you're full of shit.
Oh dear Jeff, election got you testy? Most of the 19 billion was budgeted, you know, passed in the last budget, the one the Liberals supported.
70 billion today, for what was it? So many promises, so much money, where is it all going to come from with the economy tanking worldwide?
