You Have To Love Kenney!

Amnesty International has become a far left organization that sees anything Conservative as a threat to their mission of world domination. They are a joke. They are about as believable as Greenpeace, who are neither green or peaceful.

The ninnies are trying to get President Bush declared a "war criminal". What idiots. Add all their IQ's together and you might get to 118, but that is debatable. 

"When I joined AI (Amnesty International) in high school, it was to defend the rights of political dissidents like Andrei Sakharov and to oppose brutal regimes, including those still doing bloody business in Iran and North Korea," Kenny wrote. "I am disappointed to learn you are now squandering the moral authority accrued in those campaigns on targeting one of the most generous immigration systems in the world, and protesting the actions of Canadian public servants applying rules and laws that far exceed our international obligations."

Candice Malcolm, spokeswoman for Kenney, told QMI Agency Thursday, "I note that Amnesty International did not seek a court order barring Fidel Castro, who, according to AI themselves, has led a regime guilty of 'arbitrary arrests, detention and criminal prosecution,' as well as 'unfair sentences, harassment and intimidation of critics,' and use of the death penalty for individuals 'trying to flee the island'; or barring the 1999 visit of late Togolese dictator Gnassingbe Eyadema, who human rights organizations accused of operating a 'state of terror.'

 Kenney gives it to them with both barrels, (oh dear, I mentioned a gun part!) good for him and Kenney's spokeswoman...way to go Candice, call them on the facts. Lefties can't deal with facts, they are all about emotions. Emotions do not solve anything, but whining and crying about an issue looks good.....to other lefties.

I would be interested to know who funds Amnesty. Do they take blood money from dictatorships? How clean are they? Why do they go after the democratic countries and not Saudi Arabia? HA!

Finally, I am really sorry Ontario, but look at the bright side, Dalton will have to fix the deficit that his government created. In a minority, he will be reined in to a certain extent. Dalton will have to eat it.

Obama given chilly reception at G20 summit

NEW YORK -- Barack Obama, heralded as a hero abroad when he was elected U.S. President, is getting none of that treatment at the G20 Summit in South Korea.
Mr. Obama headed to the summit with a plea for nations to work together to put the global economy on sounder footing and with hopes of signing a huge export-boosting trade agreement with South Korea.
Instead, he has gotten an earful from world leaders who have blasted the United States for monetary policies that are depressing the value of the U.S. dollar and threatening to create new bubbles.
And, in another major blow, he failed to seal a free trade deal with South Korea, a pact that would have marked the United States’ biggest trade pact since NAFTA was signed in 1994.

It depends on who you listen to I guess. My American friend never did vote for him, so her opinion hasn't changed much, she still doesn't like him much.

He's overseen a departure -- not a retreat -- from Iraq and refocussing on Afghanistan, where primary attention should always have been.

Did you actually write this column with a straight face Mr. McParland? Many Americans now realize they were scammed and made a horrible mistake in electing B. Hussein Obama. Obama is an Alinskyite, Chicago community organizer, who's never held a real job or run anything in his life, and cheated his way into public office. Obama is intent on remaking the US into his version of a weak, European style, socialist state. He's now racked up more debt than all other presidents preceding him, and his $767Billion stimulus package is nothing more than a Democrat slush fund. Obamacare is going to be outright dangerous for millions of US seniors, and there has been nothing less than a three ring circus of bribery and secretive malfeasance in trying to obtain enough Senate votes to push it through. Led by David Axelrod and Rahm Emmanuel, two Chicago political thugs, this is one of the most corrupt administrations ever seen in the White House.

The economic crash had it's roots in Jimmy Carter's "Community Reinvestment Act", and the Clinton administration's threats of legal action against banks and mortgage lenders who didn't give loans to people who had no chance of repaying them. That's when all the ABCP's appeared as the money lenders tried to get something back on the loans they issued and everything went to hell. Left on it's own, the market would likely have taken care of it's problems without any government intervention. This crash was a gift for Obama and his rat pack.

The health care package is a government takeover of one-sixth of the economy, Obama had no right to take over GM and give Chrysler to the UAW. Obama is in deep debt to ACORN and unions, especially the SEIU whose president, Andy Stern, has been the most frequent White House guest. His expansion of government is unprecedented, and some of his "czarist" appointees are people of dubious reputations and radical ideology. Every time Obama travels out of the country he pisses on the U.S. by making apologies for past actions, prostrates himself to foreign leaders, panders to Islamic nations, and weakens America's position in the world. Obama is narcissistic, cold, and detached, his delayed reactions to recent acts of terrorism are appalling, I believe him to be a sociopath because of his dysfunctional childhood, and mentoring at the hands of leftist radicals.

Veteran "Village Voice" writer Nat Hentoff said "Obama may be the most dangerous and destructive president in U.S. history." Democrats like Nancy Pelosi scream epithets of unpatriotic, anti-American, and racist, at anyone who dares disagree with their brand of totalitarianism, they label opposition as right-wing extremists and grassroots organizations as "astroturf." With their control of the three branches of government they are intent on ramming through as much of their radically leftist agenda as possible before the 2010 mid-term elections, where they are no doubt facing a tsunami of defeat.

Americans left, right, and centre, are waking up to the hip, cool, fraudster of the 2008 election and they are angry as they see the great imposter attempting to destroy the U.S. Constitution and the country it created. Obama is dangerous not just to the U.S., but to the whole world. I'll bet there are many who now wish they'd gotten off their butts and voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin.

If anyone truly wants to understand the ideology driving the "progressive" American left, they should read Jonah Goldberg's excellent book "Liberal Fascism, The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Change." This book is highly relevant for Canadians.

It Is Broke!

To the Congress:

The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775 - you have had 234 years to get it right; it is broke.

Social Security was established in 1935 - you have had 74 years to get it right; it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938 - you have had 71 years to get it right; it is broke.

The "War on Poverty" started in 1964 - you have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor"; it hasn't worked and our entire country is broke.

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 - you've had 44 years to get it right; they are broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970 - you have had 39 years to get it right; it is broke.

Trillions of dollars were spent in the massive political payoffs called TARP, the "Stimulus", the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009... None show any signs of working, although ACORN appears to have found how to milk the American taxpayer.

Cash for Clunkers" was established in 2009 and went broke in 2009! It took cars (that were the best some people could afford) and replaced them with high-priced and less-affordable cars, mostly Japanese. A good percentage of the profits went out of the country. And the American taxpayers take the hit for Congress' generosity in burning three billion more of our dollars on failed experiments.

So with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that "services" you shove down our throats are failing faster and faster, you want Americans to believe you can be trusted with a government-run health care system?
