Sarah Is A Hit!

Guess the tea party has it's stuff together, as Sarah Palin is their keynote speaker.

Palin Goes After Obama at Tea Party Convention

The Democratic agenda is "running out of time," former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Saturday at the National Tea Party Convention, claiming that the conservative tea party movement is part of a brewing "revolution" that constitutes the "future of politics."

Palin, who delivered the keynote speech on the closing night of the three-day gathering of conservative activists, aligned herself squarely with the movement, frequently using the word "us" in describing it.

"This is the future of our country. The tea party movement is the future of politics," she said.

Interesting how a real grassroots movement will influence the elections in the US this year. The prorogue movement in Canada could only wish that they would have the same impact. The problem with that is the prorogue movement is not a real grassroots movement, it's a phony media driven lefty movement, and a weak one at that.

The Republicans better stand with Sarah, no matter what she decides to do, because she has the tea party standing with her and they are a powerful voting block. The Democrats and the media are still trying to pretend that the tea party is a non-entity. Typical lefties, they think unions and special interest groups are the ones with the power, and ignore the average voter. It will be interesting to see how many of the candidates that the tea party supports actually get elected this year. It should be a big wake up call for the Democrats, but they tend to be voter deaf.

Go Sarah!

An Earthquake Is Coming In 2010!

That's all I will say about Tiger!

Forget about 2012 and the end of the Mayan calendar. It appears that an earthquake is coming to America in 2010 and the eco-nuts have not even predicted this one. As if they can predict anything except how much money Al Gore is going to get from carbon credits.

That pretty much says it all about the next American election. 2010, let the earthquake begin!

Back at home we have a far-lefty moonbat of our own, and no it's not Lizzy May, but she claims second prize. First prize goes to....drum roll please....

I bet all the lefties are just drooling over this little skank: Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockmarked sort of ugliness. May also imply promiscuity, but not necessarily. Can apply to any race, but most commonly used to describe white trash.

Alberta Aardvark reminds us of her last disgraceful performance.
Who's the one looking bad these days? Palin or Mallick?

2010, start the earthquake.

Freedom Took Washington

Some reports said that they closed down Washington with their protest. Reports are saying anywhere from 100,000 to 2 million people showed up yesterday. Even if it was only 100,000, that is a huge deal. It slaps Obama's leadership right in the butt.

Funny how many of the news outlets are not saying much about the biggest conservative protest ever on the Hill. Maybe it's because the MSM closes down during the weekend and doesn't have the staff to actually cover events. That's the power of blogs. One guy and his kid can give a better picture of what today was like than 100 reporters.

My new favorite American blog, has the American prospective of what is going on down south of us.

Washington D.C. Tea Party Express a HUGE Success!

Huge success? You sure wouldn't know it from the other media outlets. I thought America was different from Canada, I thought their media was less biased than our taxpayer funded CBC and our out to lunch CTV. Sadly it seems not to be true. That's why the people came out in massive numbers to protest in Washington. The media can try to hide the fact by refusing to cover the event, but a grassroots movement will only grow because the media refuses to carry the message. When Pelosi calls average Americans "nazis" and "astroturfers", she just makes them mad. Yet the lefties defend her and make Palin the bad girl.

The media can't adjust to the fact that the internet is immediate, with facebook and youtube, they can not distort the facts anymore. They look like idiots saying that thousands attended, when anyone watching online could see that it was more like 100,000 to 200,000 people.

Freedom?

It's worth fighting for! Good on all the people who showed up on 9/12 to support freedom.

Militants Versus Grassroots!

Something is brewing in America, and it is gaining momentum. First they had the tea party protests, then this summer they had the town hall meetings. The Democrats were caught off guard at this grassroots protest. Conservatives don't usually protest, I know I never have, not even in my more radical university days. So what is motivating Americans to protest now? I remember reading Ayn Rands "We The Living", and now we are hearing the same refrain from the American people. It is "We The People" who elect the politicians.

The Democrats are late starting, but they are revving up the union and Acorn machine, and it is anything but grassroots, it appears pretty militant to me, but what do I know up here in Canada, except what I find on the internet.

Let me compare and contrast once again, but this time with the two types of protests.

First we have the tea parties and town halls, mostly peaceful, but lots of yelling. Most people get emotionally involved about health care, but I think it's more than health care that has people upset, it's not just Republicans joining the tea parties, it's American patriots.

The TeaPartyExpress Bus is stopping at over 30 cities in America with the last stop in Washington on September 12th, 2009. If even people up here in Canada are watching, what must it feel like in the US? Change is brewing, but I'm not sure it's the change Americans expected.

Compare: Obamacare bus comes to Indy.

Contrast: Tea Party Express in Indy.

Now you tell me, who are the real Americans protesting for something they believe in, and who are the phonies?

September 12th should be interesting.

Taxes And Separation....

It only makes financial sense....My husband and I could have gotten refunds on our income tax of over $6000 it we did separate! Instead we paid even more to the government, but at least our taxes are now filed. We need a total overhaul of our tax system when it encourages couples to separate instead of getting married and raising a family.

Why do they insist that you file your returns separately when they calculate your taxes as a couple? I've even heard of a bunch of university guys living together that have had to sign a declaration that they are not romantically involved! Nutty.

No wonder the Americans were holding tea parties! For a sickening look into the lefty mind, watch this video:

I have never heard of Garofalo but if anyone is racist, she clearly is. She is steeped in leftist propaganda, and seriously needs some mental health intervention.

Interesting that the host let her spew like that without interruption. Who owns MSNBC? Well it appears that would be GE, and at their latest shareholders meeting they got an earful. If you have any GE shares it appears that holding or even buying more might be a good idea. You see cap and trade will be a huge money maker for this company. It's easy to see why they might be very pro-Obama as he supports the cap and trade idea.

"Now, most CEOs would have stopped NBC's corruption a long time ago, but Immelt may be looking for a major payoff," O'Reilly said. "According to reporting by the Washington Examiner, GE is heavily lobbying the Obama administration for bailout money. The company is also pushing for the proposed cap-and-trade program. Apparently GE has set up a joint venture it hopes would manage billions of dollars in cap-and-trade transactions should that corporate carbon tax pass Congress."

NBC has been actively promoting green issues and this revelation by O'Reilly happens to fall during the NBC Universal networks "Green is Universal" week.

"Now think about this ladies and gentlemen - a failing corporation, General Electric might reap billions of dollars if the Feds OK the carbon deal," O'Reilly said. "By the way, GE is already getting taxpayer bailout money for its financial unit. So it's not a stretch to assume Immelt would want to help President Obama as much as possible."

According to O'Reilly, the level of corruption is so big, it stands to make Watergate look small.

"This is obviously a major story - when a powerful corporation, which controls a major part of the American media, may be using its power and the airwaves to influence politics, in order to make money from government contracts," O'Reilly said. "That kind of corruption would make Watergate look small. We hope it is not true."

I can't get the fox news video to embed, try here, go to Fired Up.

This is old news, see this article from 2008.

The General Electric Unit Sale: Obama’s Energy Plan to the Rescue?

In that fox video was a clip about Barney Frank being uninvited to speak at a Washington university function.....hummm.... would that be the same function that Amero-Iggy went too?? I'm not sure, but Iggy is supposed to be meeting with Barney Frank. Is he really that politically tone deaf?
