Boycott Green Money Suckers.

Are you as sick and tired as I am of all the bogus "green" companies? TD offers a "green" mortgage. Everywhere you go, it's all about "green". These corporations are sucking extra cash out of you with every "green" initiative they expound.

We are witnessing the final death throes of the enviro-weenie movement. Expect green subsidies to go the way of the dodo bird. In tough economic times politicians keen on remaining employed will have to heed the electorates' desire to cut all the fluff policies which only exist because of optics. This includes hidden environmental taxes by corporations who have jumped on the bandwagon of the feel good platitudes of having an "environmental stewardship" policy in their mission statements, passing along these extra costs onto their customers. As more reports come out showing the futility of the green movement and as more countries teeter on insolvency, Al Gore and David Suzuki are about to become footnotes in history. Eventually the public wises up and the snake oil purveyors are quickly run out of town. I sense that the good people of Ontario are sharpening their pitch forks right now! (And hopefully Alberta with all this carbon capture and windmill claptrap).

I couldn't agree more Eskimo! Too bad politicians are always years behind the voters. GE is promoting light bulbs with mercury that cost 10 times what conventional light bulbs do, and the politicians are supporting them. This shows you how powerful lobby groups can be. The NDP is full of union supporters, which is fine, as long as those unions are not allowed to use union fees to promote a political party. Unions fees are mandatory, they are not a choice. Funny how lefties want choice in abortion, but refuse to allow that same choice in paying union fees.  Hypocrites in the extreme.

I want REAL pollution of our air, lakes and land to be addressed by our politicians. I do not ever want to send REAL dollars to FAKE environmental causes. Mo Strong started this mess, and made millions, so did Suzuki and Gore. Evil lurks in power hunger people. They do not care about us, they care about their causes only as long as those causes are making them money.

What has really upset the elites is that PM Harper owes none of them any favours. He is his own man and the Conservative party was build by the little people, us voters, NOT the elites. I hope he remembers that now that he has a majority.

Corporations are using being "green" as a marketing ploy to increase their profits by charging us more. It's time for us to show them we will not be hoodwinked by their slick ads. It's time to boycott the phony "green" agenda of corporations. They suck money out of us every time we buy their products, just because they are supposedly "green".  Don't buy it, and tell them why you will not buy their products anymore.

Liberal Elites Still Stinking Up Our Canada

Like most Canadians, I never really paid attention to politics until Adscam hit the news. I had always voted Conservative/Reform/Alliance hoping that one day we would get into power. I thought Paul Martin had been a good finance minister and wouldn't have minded too much if he got elected PM. Well he did, and he was awful. He can try to blame Adscam for his failure, but he was obviously lost without his finance bureaucrats to save his butt.

I know all that appears to be history, but recently CSIS has come out stating that foreign countries are influencing our politicians, especially at the provincial and municipal level. Funny, most politicians at that level are lefties. Even Alberta's MLA's are more liberal than conservative, and I suspect that all those Chinese after our oil sands are offering big money to weak politicians.

Is this unheard of? Nope.

Here is a blast from the past that is interesting reading for those who are just getting into the political scene.

Jean Chretien's ties to China have become more indirect, but no less troubling, since his ascendancy to the Prime Minister's Office. During the course of his reign, China's leadership has embraced his son-in-law, Andre Desmarais, and his company, Power Corporation. Andre is the son of Paul Desmarais senior, Director of Power Corporation and a close friend of Jean Chretien. Andre is married to Chretien's daughter France and serves as the President of Power Corporation's Executive Board.

John Rae was the leading strategist for Jean Chretien's election campaign. He was formerly the Executive vice-president of Power Corp. He is the brother of Bob Rae, the former NDP premier of Ontario.
Bob Rae, while Premier of Ontario, appointed Maurice Strong as chairman of Ontario Hydro. The past CEO of Paul Desmarais' Power Corporation, Strong was appointed to the UN as a senior environmental adviser to the UN secretary-general and Chairman of the Earth Council. His area of responsibility was the Kyoto Accord.
Paul Martin, formerly the Finance Minister under the current regime is considered a shoo in for Prime Minister as Jean Chretien exits the scene in February of 2004. Martin was previously on the board of Power Corp and formerly on the board of Connaught Laboratories. Allegations have been made of Connaught's implication in the tainted blood scandal. Martin and a partner purchased Canada Steamship Lines from Paul Desmarais of Power Corp at extremely favorable terms. Martin later bought the partner out. What obligations does Martin owe to Power Corporation interests once he becomes Prime Minister? Martin registered many of his vessels out of the country in third world registries, thus evading Canadian income taxes. Third world crews working in third world conditions crew his third world registry ships. Canadians must question whether the morality of Martin's evading Canadian income taxes while Finance Minister is a matter of concern.

And we are supposed to believe that the Liberal party of Canada is clean? Can you not still smell the stink of big business influencing the "ruling party of Canada"? Is the smell still clinging to your nose hairs, making you sneeze? Do you not, at the most fundamental level of your being, still cringe when you think of what the Liberals have done to our country? They still think Trudeau is a hero.... that should clue you in. How come CSIS never mentioned this before? Well Sidewinder was shut down, covered up and buried by the Liberals. What, are you shocked that the Liberals would ignore facts?

Money can buy you anything you want, and it appears that the Liberals have always understood that better than any other political party. Do you seriously think that just because the contribution limit for corporations and individuals is just over $1000 that a corporation as powerful as Power Corp isn't lobbying the present government?

Why did Iggy tell PM Harper that his time was up? It appears that Iggy has been listening to the Liberal elites. The political elites are always sniffing out marshmallows. and they thought Iggy was just right. Soft and fluffy, but when put in the barbeque, he turned brown and shriveled up.

This Speaks On So Many Levels!

I have nothing to say. Read it, and think about it for a few hours, or days. This is not just about a murder, it is about a culture, that we are busy importing into our country. I makes me very uneasy.

Suspicion: Palestinian killed wife because she was carrying girl

Palestinian police in the West Bank city of Nablus arrested a man on suspicion that he murdered his pregnant wife Wednesday night because an ultrasound examination showed that she was carrying a girl.

The couple has four children – three boys and a girl – and the father wanted another son.

Palestinian police officials said the argument that followed the ultrasound test was just one of many and that it was not the sole reason behind the murder in the village of Nasiriyah, located north of Nablus.

According to police, abrasions were found on the man's body, indicating that the wife struggled as he was choking her to death.

Family members said the husband had tried to kill his wife following a previous ultrasound examination. Relatives said the suspect was envious of his brother, who has nine sons. They said the husband had beaten his wife in the days prior to the murder.

Very, very sad and disturbing.

Spotlight Put On Mo Strong!

Mo Strong is currently hiding away in China, that beacon of light on climate change. They are the model that all countries should follow. No pollution, no factories spewing particulates into the atmosphere, excellent sewage systems, wind power over coal power, it's a utopia! Or econuts and progressive think so, because they want us to send mega bucks to China because it is a third world "developing" country.

Today, Glenn Beck put the spotlight on Mo Strong. He called for people to research Mo Strong and find out about global governance.

It appears to be paying off. Let the light shine down on the climate change clowns! Mo Strong is responsible for the Kyoto Accord, he is wealthy because of it. Funny how the econuts love this capitalist.

Then we have this little gem from back in the 70's.

Luckily Canadians already know all about Mo and his money sucking schemes.

Mr. Strong quite blatantly promotes eco dictatorship. He declares that “Our concept of ballot-box democracy may need to be modified to produce strong governments capable of making difficult decisions, particularly in terms of safeguarding the global environment.” He suggests that the world be run like a giant corporation: “[W]e must learn to manage our impact on the environment much as we manage our businesses — with amortization, maintenance, and depreciation accounts — to ensure continued sustainability.”

This claim would be ridiculous even if Mr. Strong had not been the architect of so many private business messes. Still, he realizes that if there is only one global “corporation” then its customers have nowhere else to go.

Obama's team has changed the "climate change bill" to "America's Power Act". Just like the econuts changed "global warming" to "climate change". It is still "cap and trade" by any other name. This on a day when the UN Ban Ban Man came to Canada and lectured us on our environmental record. Go back to the Useless Nations Ban Ban.

Mo Strong is an elitist progressive who is making money off of people's ignorance. He hides in the dark, in a country with NO human rights, NO democracy, and sucks the money out of your pockets. The spotlight is now on him, thanks to Glenn Beck. It should be interesting to watch how the blogsphere takes on his challenge. This is my small effort.

TD Canada Trust Infested With Liberals!

Got money in TD Canada Trust? Is your skin crawling and you can't figure out why? Get an itch every time you pass by a TD Canada Trust branch? You might be suffering from a Liberal infestation. It disguises itself as a totally innocent bank, but uses it's disguise to slam the Conservatives. It spouts Liberal talking points and is arrogant enough to think that you will buy it's disguise.

Ed Clark on controversial greenhouse gas report

Mr. Clark, you will recall, was once nicknamed “Ed the Red” by oil patch executives for his role in coming up with the interventionist 1980 National Energy Program. Last week, Alberta premier Ed Stelmach referred to the program as he reacted to the study funded by TD.

“There won’t be another wealth transfer to Ottawa under my watch, I can tell you,” he said, according to the Edmonton Journal.

So, Red Ed caused all the pain that Alberta endured, and now he is the CEO of TD Canada Trust. Well that sucks.

Red Ed's talents don't end there. He is back slagging Alberta's oilsands, because he didn't destroy our province and wants to finish it off now.

As Globe and Mail reporter Shawn McCarthy has noted, it found that “Ottawa will have to lead a massive restructuring of the Canadian economy, with wealth flowing from the West to the rest of the country, if it is to meet its climate-change targets…The Conservative government’s goal of reducing greenhouse-gas emissions by 20 per cent by 2020 can be achieved, but only by limiting growth in Alberta and Saskatchewan.”

He has help. His main man Don Drummond pretends to be neutral but is anything but.

A prominent Canadian economist says Stephane Dion's "Green Shift" carbon tax plan is "a good start" that will leave the general Canadian taxpayer "better off."

"The idea itself is very sensible," Don Drummond, the chief economist at TD Bank, told CTV's Canada AM on Friday.

"There's a growing consensus to do something about emissions. We need to put a price on carbons. This proposes it."

Drummond said that "in most cases" the average Canadian will "be better off" because of income tax breaks and additional federal benefits included in the plan. He also noted that the Liberal plan also addresses a "bizarre situation" on energy taxes.

Bizarre? It is TD Canada Trust that is bizarre. They are infested with Liberals, who think nothing of slagging our Prime Minister. They are so arrogant that they think they can sponsor a report from Suzuki without us smelling a rat.

The TD Bank financed Calgary-based Pembina Institute and Vancouver's David Suzuki Foundation to produce the comprehensive report. The group contracted with respected economic consultants, M.K. Jaccard and Associates Inc., to model the impacts of climate policies; Jaccard has done similar work for the Canadian government.

TD's chief economist, Don Drummond, said the bank has not endorsed any targets, though it has supported a policy of a national emissions cap. He said the bank's interest was to shed light on an area where there has been little informed debate: the likely cost of imposing regulations.

The banks interest is in sucking up to the Liberals. Mo Strong created the IPCC and is in hiding in China because of the Food for Oil fiasco. Climate change can yield the TD bank billions of dollars, that is why they are attacking the Conservatives. You see, the Liberals can not use any of their weapons on PM Harper because he has no ducks in this hunt.

It's not just me who is upset with TD Canada Trust. Sandy has an excellent post. She is too nice to promote a boycott, but I'm not. ING offers excellent savings compared to our banks, so why not switch? Dr Roy weighs in as well.

It's simple. Don't like a bank's CEO who gets millions dictating to you? Move your funds. Granted, TD Canada Trust thinks your little deposits are chicken scratch, they are only interested in the BIG OIL guys, who they turn around and slag to make themselves more green.

Switch your money to a Credit Union or any other small bank. They care about you. We switched our mortgage out of TD Canada Trust to a Credit Union and a month later we got a call from TD Canada Trust offering us a reduction in our mortgage rate. When I pointed out that we had switched our mortgage, they hung up. So much for caring about the average client. Typical arrogant Liberals.

I want Albertans to know that the CEO of TD Canada Trust was the guy who implemented the NEP (National Energy Program) that killed Alberta. TD Canada Trust also paid for a report that wanted to decrease Alberta's revenues. TD Canada Trust is no friend of Albertans. Make sure you are not their friend either. Email them. Let them know you are sick and tired of being the east's whipping boy/girl.

TD Canada Trust doesn't think you taking your $1000 out of their bank is important. If we all take our money out and tell them about it, the arrogant Liberal bank might just wake up. It might not be the tea parties like in the US, but it might be something all Canadians can get behind.
