Judges seem to get a free pass in our society because Canadians hold lawkeepers in high esteem. We need to stop giving free passes, and start holding judges to account for their rulings.
Here's a great example of a bad judge, making bad decisions.
Who holds our judges accountable? What can the victims family do when a judge gives a murderer house arrest? What checks and balances exist for bad judges who make politically motivated decisions? Who dares to call out a judge on a bad decision? What recourse does a falsely accused individual have?
How about the Supreme who went on a nude adventure?
Let's start electing judges, make them accountable to us, the people, the victims of bad judgements and bad judges.
