Pedophile's sentence too harsh, court rules

A Montreal man convicted of sexually assaulting his young daughter and posting pictures of the crime on the internet has had his prison sentence reduced by the Quebec Court of Appeal.

In a 2-1 ruling on Tuesday, the court ruled the man's crimes were not among the worst sexual assaults ever committed, and agreed to reduce his sentence from 15 years to nine.


"There was no violence, such as gagging, threatening or hitting the child," Judge Lise Côté wrote.

The 32-year-old — who cannot be named to protect the identity of his daughter — was found guilty in March 2005 of sexual assault and of producing, possessing and distributing child pornography.

The assaults started when his daughter was 24 months old and lasted for two years.

So, let me get this right, a 32 year old man, sexually assaults his baby daughter. Oh my God, I can't even tell her to FIGHT, she can't, she's a 2 year old against a 32 year old. Oh you poor little baby, Fight, the Judges will help you!

A Quebec Supreme Court Judge, Lise Cote states there was no violence, NO VIOLENCE! ARE YOU CRAZY? He didn't hit the child, he only raped her and took photos of the violation. Wonder if the judge would change her mind if she had been raped. Remember she is an adult, not a two year old, who got raped repeatedly for two years, by her Father, but the judge stated:

When the court reduced that sentence on Tuesday, Côté cited the man's young age and the fact that he has only one other criminal conviction (for sexually assaulting another child when he was 17).

He had only ONE other criminal conviction?????? Are you kidding me??? For sexual assault? Fight idiot judges, just because they are judges doesn't mean they are right in their rulings. Fight little baby, oh sorry, the judges don't think rape of a 2 year old is violence.

Hey little baby, did something tear into you? Fight. Did it hurt, when your Father ripped into you? Two years old, you should be running to the playground to be with your little friends, chatting and laughing about nothing.

Instead, your FATHER, is raping you. Oh, sweety FIGHT, scratch him, bite him, oh sorry, your too young to understand why he is doing this to you, but the Judges understand. They know.

What do they do? REDUCE THE SENTENCE, because it's not the worse they have seen.
