Liberals Being Ethical!

Not sure why my last post didn't get through on Blogging Tories, but I spent all day getting these videos done and on Youtube, so I will try again.

Here's a summary, day one of the Ethics Committee, Elections Canada is on the hot seat and the Conservatives are scoring points, left, right and center. This is not what the opposition parties expected, they are caught with their pantyhose around their ankles.

Working into the wee hours of the morning, the opposition develops a plan for day two.

1. Mayrand obviously contacts Committee Chair Liberal MP Szabo and complains about the abuse he got at the hands of the Conservatives. He takes the "fifth". Everything is now related to his appearance before a real court on real charges, and he has just realized that. It appears the Liberal Chair couldn't protect him from his own lack of evidence against the Conservative questions. So, Liberal Szabo tells all committee members they can not ask any questions related to the current court proceeding. Hello, didn't you think of that BEFORE you asked the witness to appear? Szabo is clearly incompetent. See video one.





2. Because Conservative members are clearly still gaining ground and showing Canadians that ALL parties do the same things, and that Mayrand has 5 made up "facts" that are ridiculous, the opposition, led this time by NDP Martin, call a motion to limit questions to Mayrand. They want to shut it down after the current round, the Conservatives still have questions and want 8 more rounds. The Conservative motion is defeated, the opposition motion passes (they have the majority vote). Say bye-bye to Mayrand, no more questions for Elections Canada. Disgusting behaviour by the opposition. See video two.



3. If that isn't enough, the list of potential witnesses is presented, and the first thing Szabo does is strick every single Conservative witness from the list, oh, he forgets one, but ever helpful NDP Martin adds that name to the list, so they are good to go. Liberal Jennings calls non-confidence on the Liberal Chair, which means all discussion is stopped and a vote must take place, then she changes her vote, so that the dirty unprincipled Liberals get to strike every single Conservative witness off the list!!! This was totally planned because Jennings for an earlier motion called non-confidence and was told to "pay attention", she obviously had the wrong motion, and her motion was all of a sudden, ignored by "rule" abiding Szabo.

The final icing on the cake, or puffin poop exposing, was when Jennings called for the end of the session before Conservative MP Scott Reid's motion for an independent inquiry into Elections Canada could be voted on. That's why you hear him yelling at Szabo in the third video.



All in all, it was a disgusting display of how the opposition parties have been operating in just about every committee in Parliament for the last two and a half years. Canadians watching no matter what political stripe had to be disgusted with how the Conservatives were trampled on by the opposition parties. They showed their devious little lefty minds, and it was ugly, but lefties will tell you it was democratic HA.

Ethics? You Call This Ethical?

Day two was by far the busiest for the opposition parties. Szabo starts things off by allowing Mayrand to take what in essence would be like the fifth amendment. Then the opposition parties shut down any questioning of Mayrand, and finally, using dirty tactics they manage to get rid of all the witnesses that the Conservative party put forward. If you only watch one video, make it the last one, it's full of true Liberal ethics, which means of course, none.

Then next, we have all members of the opposition shutting down questioning of Mayrand.




Finally, and the most important one to watch, the Liberals play dirty. At the end of the tape, you can hear the Conservatives yelling at Szabo. Personally, I don't know how they held their tempers that long!

As The Stomach Turns Part One!

I just go through watching today's (Wednesdays) ethics committee meeting, it was disgusting, I will post some video's of it tomorrow, but tonight I have some unedited video of the Conservative members questioning Marc Mayrand on Tuesday. Take some time and watch them, I have provided no comments on the video, you decide.







That's the start of the proceedings, Mayrand looks bad, and has no real reason for only picking on the Conservatives. Then on Wednesday it's a whole different story. Suddenly he clams up due to the lawsuit, and Szabo let's him. Then ALL of the people that the Conservatives wanted put on the list are rejected, every single one. It's just about 2:30 here, so videos will have to wait until tomorrow.

To get prepared for what's coming, read Kady O'Malley, for a really disgusting, childish view of the proceedings. She should just sit there and do her nails for all the actual true commentary you get from her. How old is she? 12? This is a supposed reporter, but she comes across as babyish, and ohhh aren't we worried that you only got ice cream to eat for lunch, and that your thumbs hurt.

Oh, it was apparently suspended until *2:15*! Next time, I’ll have to listen more carefully, rather than burying my head in my hands and praying for a swift death. I missed out on fifteen minutes of thumb relaxation time.

Is this woman really that interested in herself and her problem thumbs, or is she just shi*tless?

Marlene Jennings is ready to call the vote on Pat Martin’s motion, but we’re now deep into grumbliness. As it turns out, the chair’s ruling removed the names of every one of the Conservatives’ proposed witnesses, which - not surprisingly - is not going over at all well.

Oh really dippy, grumpliness? That's not a word, but don't let that little item get in your way. Do adults really read her shi*t?

I have never seen a better reason to give the Conservatives a majority. The lefties were out of control today, talk about undemocratic, Szabo is sickening. I used to have some respect for NDP MP Pat Martin, no more. If the opposition parties think they came off well today, they should join Kady when she decides to do her toenails, they can all watch the painted nails dry.

As the stomach turns, part two... get ready for it tomorrow, it's not pretty.

Liberals Corrupting Democracy!

One of the most dysfunctional Parliamentary committees has been the Ethics committee, chaired by Liberal MP Paul Szabo. This is the committee that went on a witch hunt against Mulroney, and came up empty, even though they actively pimped themselves to Schreiber. Now they are trying to shut up the Conservative MP's on that same committee.



It's one thing to be partisan, but that should not be allowed to corrupt a Parliamentary committee. If Dion was any kind of leader, he would talk to Szabo and straighten him out. That's not going to happen because Dion is clueless, and has no control of his own MP's.
