5 plus 1 plus 4 = 10

Belated Congrats Conservative party and PM Harper (I still love saying that!). Five years in a minority government and still kicking (Can I say kick or is that too violent?). My prediction is that we will not have an election this year, so it will be five plus 1. Then the Conservatives will get their majority giving them 4 years to get things done, leading us to 5 plus 1 plus 4 = 10.

To see PM Harper's speech go here to CTV. Ignore the comments, lefties are Harper Haters. It's as disgusting as the lefties blaming Sarah and the Tea Party for a deranged man shooting and killing people at a political rally. Rational is not a term lefties understand, I dare not mention common sense!

If the Conservatives get a majority what would we see?
The end of the long gun registry (hello lefties, not a big surprise and the reason many lefty MP's are going to lose their seats!).

An elected Senate. (What's so scary about that?).

The demise of the CWB monopoly (thank goodness. How stupid is it that western farmers are forced to sell their grain to the CWB while eastern farmers can sell their grains to anyone they want?)

More criminals behind bars for longer, (It's about time, and don't believe the lefty propaganda that crime is decreasing.) My husbands truck (yes we are rednecks, and proud of it!) was broken into, we reported it and the police just said call your insurance company, no formal report was written, so it doesn't appear in StatsCan data. I'm pretty sure we aren't the only ones this has happened to.

5 plus 1 plus 4 = 10 (at least) years that the Conservatives will be in power. Suck it up lefties. You want a cleaner environment? Go to China, they need help cleaning up their pollution. You want to give women in third world countries the abortion option? Go over there and help that goal come true, but don't expect me to pay for it. Learn to raise your own funds, don't come running to the government for your grants and entitlements, taxpayers are sick of everyone with outstretched hands and no results.

What would you like to see done for Canadians, in the next 5 years of Conservative government? What is your priority?

I want a reduction of the deficit and debt. Interest rates are only going up, so we need to manage our debt, and that includes provinces, municipalities and hospitals.

BAN All Tankers And Ships!

Seriously, let's not discriminate here, all ships are a danger to the environment, and planes and off shore oil wells, and Liberals.

Let me get this straight. Tankers from Saudi Arabia are allowed to deliver oil to Quebec and Ontario, and it's not a problem, but tankers taking Alberta/Sask oil to China and India is a big no no? Is Iggy serious? Send Canadian money for blood oil out of the country, and DO NOT allow Canadians to sell their oil? This might get them some green and separatist votes, but will kill western Canada, the only engine supporting Ontario and Quebec.

Maybe we should lobby for a law that restricts the east from importing oil from other countries? That would be fair. If the west can't export our own oil to anyone we want, kind of like our farmers can't sell their own wheat, why should the east be able to export their wheat to anyone they want AND import oil from any country they want? Kind of unbalanced there don't you think?

Why doesn't the east buy our oil? The only way we could get them to do that was when Trudeau imposed the National Energy Program on the west so that we HAD to sell our oil to the east at 85% of the world price. It still ticks westerners off.

Iggy, maybe you should check with Mo Strong on this policy, you see, China has invested heavily in the oil sands and I'm pretty sure they expect to get their oil delivered by tanker to them. It's called the free market.

Even lefty Martin of the NP thinks it's a bad policy.

Don Martin: Fear behind Ignatieff’s oil tanker policy

While oil tankers now prowl Canada’s east and west coasts and roll up the St. Lawrence River to Montreal without the public giving it a second thought, Ignatieff’s plan would banish tankers from a safer port in northern B.C. and kill much-needed jobs and investment in the region.

Ignatieff’s vow, should he ever become prime minister, singles out for a ban one vital link — between the oil sands and China’s voracious energy thirst — that would give the oil sands a competitive alternative to an America that views the resource as dirty energy to be priced at a discount.

Environmentalists will never be happy until we are all living in caves, and it appears that's where the Liberals want westerners. Talk about divisive politics, the Liberals have that down pat.

Stop Paul Martins coal ships too then Iggy. Coal is a bigger pollution problem then oil and gas, but the Liberals are quiet about that. Shut down those coal mines, shut down the oil sands (which Iggy says he supports, but not allowing tankers would shut development down), shut down forestry, shut down the asbestos industry, keep western farmers chained to the Canadian wheat board, stop exporting potash, stop diamond mining, the list is endless.

Funny how it's the oil sands that lefties are targeting again. If the US thinks the oil sands are "dirty" and stop importing, then China and India are our next best markets, but no tankers means no oil exports. It's ridiculous. It's ill thought out. It's typical lefty policy, support the special interest groups and give no thought to Canadians and the jobs this policy would kill. Most of all, it is divisive. Shame.

REDRUM, REDRUM

Photo: Beijing China

Okay, let's just kill our economy. Really, why go down slowly being suffocated by all those green bags, let's just agree with the eco-nuts, slit our wrists and bleed our economy to death.

Photo: The badly polluting oil sands....see that blue sky? Hummmm, are we being lied to?

Hey, that's another compare and contrast! China or Alberta? Who is polluting more, you decide.

The Canadian government, long criticized by environmentalists for not doing its fair share to fight against catastrophic climate change, has said its top priority at the Copenhagen negotiations is to ensure there are "commitments from all major economies" - a reference to countries such as India and China that have said it's unfair for them to stem their economic growth to deal with climate change caused largely by western economies.
(bolding is mine)

Yikes, catastrophic climate change....that's enough to scare me into.....wait a minute, where is the proof? I know a little bit about modeling, and I know that no reputable scientist can predict anything beyond the range of the data. In other words, if your data is weekly, you can predict the next week pretty accurately, but not what will happen next year.

In a submission to the UN earlier this year the Harper government declared more specifically that "all parties" at Copenhagen must agree to "establish, regularly update and submit in writing . . . a long-term national greenhouse gas emissions limitation or reduction pathway for regular review by the Conference of the Parties."

But Levi said major developed economies such as Canada should avoid demanding specific emission commitments and instead work toward a "bottom up" strategy that seeks clear agreements that allow countries like China, India, Brazil and Indonesia to obtain western assistance to adapt their economies in a more environment-friendly way.

Double yikes! Levi is all for a wealth transfer from developed nations to his friends bank accounts. That is what this is, a wealth transfer scheme, notice that Levi never uses any actual DATA to support his assumptions.

"It is controversial enough to suggest that a country like India, with about 5% the per capita emissions of Canada, should take binding targets - especially given that Canada is openly walking away from its own commitments," Saul wrote in an e-mail.

"But to suggest that India should accept absolute emission targets is in another world. It leads one to think that this government is actively trying to undermine the negotiations."

Triple yikes! Notice how the eco-nuts use PER CAPITA, as a justification for India and China to continue polluting? They have billions of people so PER CAPITA, they do not pollute as much as Canada. Do they really think we are idiots?

Look at the two pictures, who is polluting the most? In the age of the internet, we get to call the "experts" out. Show us your data, not your rhetoric. We want facts, not some journalist who only talks to his/her eco-friends.

The eco-nuts want to REDRUM our economy. I want the environmentalists to start talking land mass, and trees, not this PER CAPITA garbage. It actually let's China and India pollute more, because they have more people. It makes Canada the bad guy because we have more trees than any one in the world (hint: trees love CO2) but only have 30 million people. It's a total farce.

Alberta Hangs Up!

Keep your lefty President and your econuts out of our faces! Who do you think you are to demand Alberta, a province in Canada, bow down to your demands?

Clean up Alberta oilsands: U.S. officials

Obama administration committed to boosting clean-energy production

Two of U.S. President Barack Obama's top advisers on energy and climate change said Monday the Alberta oilsands are a key part of the U.S. energy mix. But they warned its development must be cleaned up, because there's "a lot of concern" south of the border about their environmental footprint.

The US is warning Alberta to clean up it's oil sands? Hello coal fired plants, major US polluters.

Have those US idiots even visited the oilsands? It's too bad the politicians are always behind in what the people want. Being a denier is the new cool! The economy in Canada is starting to show signs of life. Watch the markets, oil goes up, so does the TSX, I think I see a correlation here, do you see the correlation?

Can Alberta only sell to the US? Good question to ask the ecogoons that Obama assigned to this file. Will Alberta take this ecogab sitting down?

Ring, ring.... this is Alberta calling China and India. Hello, you want our oilsands oil? Okay. Done. The environmentalists should love that we are helping third world countries advance. They are exempted from the Kyoto Accord, so sending more oil to them should help stop the coal fired projects and save the planet.

Ring, ring... this is the US calling, what happened to the 20% of oil and gas you have been supplying us? Our gas prices are hitting the roof. Alberta hangs up.
