Canadian Women Kicking Some Butt!

This is the story....CTV informs us that 11.5 of the medals out of 15 so far have been won by our Canadian women. So, men, what's up with that?

Have all our men been turned into metrosexuals more interested in fashion than sports? Or are our women just more competitive and capable?

Seriously, where have all our competitive men gone?

CTV is even called today "Woman's Wednesday" after 4 medals in one day, all won by women.

Gold, silver for women's 2-man bobsled teams

Canadian short track team takes silver by lying low

Hughes ties Klassen with 6th Olympic medal

What are our men up to?

Hamelin confident his luck will turn

Our woman's hockey team looks powerful and set to win, our men's hockey team, made up of professional millionaires? Not so much. (Okay they did great against the Russians, I will give them that one.)

So, maybe it's not "Own the Podium" that's the problem, maybe it's our men? Come on guys, defend yourselves, or apologize like the US guys do!

Emergency shipment of condoms headed to Olympic athletes

Maybe you are just being the polite gentlemen that your mother's raised to hold doors open for women, and are letting the Canadian women walk away with all the medals. Yup, I bet that's exactly what's happening. HA!

Many years ago there was very famous opera singer, and after she retired she was asked "why is that every opera you were in the male lead always seemed distracted or made minor errors on opening night" She replied, "I wanted the better reviews so I seduced him a couple of hours before opening. Worked every time.
Perhaps that is what is happening to our men's teams, that they need so many condoms.
The reporters have mentioned that in most of the races the men's legs seem to give out at the end.

Hunter, are you planning to change your blog from the "free" service provided by google or are you simply full of it?

Well EsQue ... the "0.5" medal is in the "dance" ya know the male half of the couple teehee teehee

bling bling boys ... would it be politically incorrect for me to state that "female" competition still lags behind the men and that the canadian women are just ahead of their game?

Just Kidding point five

The answer is pretty simple.

Where every country has put a focus on men's athletics, there are more countries with highly competitive programs around the world that the men compete with, lower the odds of medaling.

Women around the world are not given the same opportunities and funding (or limited to specific sports categories), thinning out the competition.

I haven't done a full study or anything, but I bet you'd find that overall, Canada & the USA punch above their weight in women's sports.

Looks like the bar opened early for some liberals.

It is great news that the women are again bringing home the medals. The role models of athleticism on display is wonderful!

Bonus for us tv remote hogs-it is easy on the eyes!
