Top 10 "Global Warming" Myths

So the IPCC is taking some real heat, and your everyday person on the street is starting to get the picture. I have never been fooled into thinking that "global warming" was what the eco-nuts were concerned about, they forgot about REAL pollution in their rush for grant money and jobs. Face it, without a disaster in the future all the environmentalists had no jobs, except maybe tree hugging. So, here are 10 "global warming" myths that they have been shrilling about for years:

10. The U.S. is going it alone on Kyoto and global warming.
9. Global-warming proposals are about the environment.
8. Climate change is the greatest threat to the world's poor.
7. Global warming means more frequent, more severe storms.
6. Global warming has doomed the polar bears!
5. Climate change is raising the sea levels.
4. The glaciers are melting!
3. Climate was stable until man came along.
2. The science is settled -- CO2 causes global warming.

And finally, the number one myth....
1. It’s hot in here!

Here is the link to the article that posted those 10 myths. Look at the date! Funny, it's as if someone had a crystal ball and saw into the future.

Those myths are just as relevant today as they were in 2007. The only difference is that the lies are being exposed and the truth is slowly emerging from the mist of eco-goo into the true light and the big guys like Gore and Suzuki are in hiding, hopefully in the caves they want all of us to live in.

Where are the Liberals defending Dion's green plan? Where is Pablo wanting Kyoto targets met? Where has Iggy disappeared to again? Maybe he's in a third world country trying to tell women why they need an abortion. It seemed to be all quiet on the Hill today. Have they all gone back into hiding in their ridings, to twiddle their thumbs, because they don't really understand what an opposition MP does except disagree with anything Conservative? Sad really.

You hear anything like this from the CBC. Rex Murphy is the only one who will talk about it, and I suspect he could be fired.

I just wish the CBC would discuss all sides of issues, but I suppose their past advocacy would make them look foolish if opposing opinion.

Liberals multitasking? Every political party has fallen short in regards to the Climategate.

Many of us wanted the government to investigate this matter than playing it safe and lettin it implode. (We are not confident)

Many of us don't expect the opposition to be honest in their complicity with the Green lobby to introduce taxes and control from COP15.

December of 2009 we had the pleasure of hearing about Taliban detainees.( 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009)

January the media gave us perogies with the opposition supporters organizing the non-rallies with the NDP, union, anti-war regulars decrying our "despotic" government.

The protest failed less than 20k showed up. The weakest media partner - confused broadcasting commmune is trying to keep it alive. Our tax dollars hard at work.

The opposition are in favour of China, Cuba and Venezuela's style of leaders, it is less despotic than ours. (sarcasm off)

Apparently China adding Coal Plants is green!

Photo ops with opposition MP's pretending they are getting work done by holding meetings.

Opposition MP's working hard at the Olympics while our government MP's are on vacation watching the games.

No new taxes in AB budget,
AISH, not being cut, seniors benefits, AIDs to daily living and diabability programs not being cut.
AB will fight for equal funding for health care from the feds. At present we get 200.00/person less than other provinces. balanced budget by 2012.
250 cuts to civil servants and 700 other govt jobs.
PDD funding put back, no cuts.

EsQue EsQue ... it is the COASTAL Mountains and NOT the Rockies - get a map. Lack of snow in February is NOT unusual. The FLOWERS are out at my place. Get a Grip.

And as well ... there is LOTS of snow in Whistler. The problem is on the North shore mountains and according to the skiers there the conditions are PERFECT!! for their events. Get a GRIP

Those aren't the Rocky Mountains in Whister, SQ. They're about 300 miles to the east.

Oh, and Whistler had 14 feet of snow fall in Nov./Dec.

I'd blame the melt on the carbon footprint of Suzuki's two large homes in the area.
