Unelected Alberta Liberal Senator Mitchell Shows His Arrogance!

No Senator bugs me more than Grant Mitchell, a failed provincial Liberal leader, who does nothing to actually represent Alberta's interests in the Senate. Here he is trumpeting his support of Al Gore and fake global warming. He really is a disgrace to Alberta, not like our elected Senator Brown, who is there because Albertan's voted for him.

I missed this post from Just Right because we were traveling for the holidays, but it gives more info on Grant Mitchell, Liberal Alberta Senator, appointed until he is 75, and there is nothing we Albertan's can do to get rid of him, and he knows it. 

Someone should clue this guy into the fact that "ecoweenies" are leading him around like a bull with a ring through his nose. The full video is here. Mitchell is your typical arrogant Liberal, who thinks his opinion is the only one worthy of listening to. What a failure for representing Alberta this guy is, but I guess it's the only way a Liberal from Alberta would ever, ever, get a chance to spout his point of view. If you can't get enough of him, try this video. I tried to watch it, but only got to about the 1 minute point before I gagged.

Thankfully, the Senate now has a Conservative majority, so that a$$hats like Mitchell have no power anymore. I am writing Senator Mitchell to tell him how proud I am of him for biking his way to Ottawa from now on, seeing how concerned he is about the environment. Planes BAD Senator, Bikes GOOD. It looks like he could use the exercise, and that clear, cold Alberta/Sask/Man air, might just clear his foggy mind and rid him of the cob webs that are clogging his thinking.

Nannygate: Evidence Mounts Against Dhalla

IRuby has been hung out to dry by Iggy and all the other Liberals. She is digging a hole so deep she might get back to India for another episode of, I hope they learned their lesson. At that time she used the; IRuby didn't mean it, IRuby am innocent and the media is misquoting me defense.

Face it, we all knew her first reaction was the true reaction. Because it happened in India, we didn't really care, and it didn't make big waves over here in Canada.

Now, we care. IRuby made a huge mistake testifying just after the very emotional nannies. IRuby came across as arrogant and uncaring, much like her comment, "I hope they learned a lesson", came across in India. IHunter think IRuby is in deep trouble. IRuby is just one example of Liberal values, you know, those values they always yap about, but can never actually define. It appears she was using the government program to get cheap care for a Mother who didn't even need it. If this was an immigrant scamming the EI or welfare program, they could face deportation, but because this is a MP taking advantage of an immigrant, in my eyes it is even worse. She has no right to use her position as an MP to intimidate an immigrant. That is just so wrong on so many levels it makes me sick.

I understand she is innocent until proven guilty, but if that is the case, then so is Mulroney, and yet the Liberals continue to hound him for their political gain. What about a 20 year old tape of a Conservative who wasn't even an MP at the time? That was harped on endlessly by the MSM and lefties, for political advantage.

Only a lefty would close their eyes to what IRuby and her family did to those poor nannies. The court of public opinion has been used by the Liberals to convict Conservatives without a trial, it's the Liberals turn now. Funny how what goes around, comes back around.

Newman Versus Duffy!

It appears Newman is retiring from CBC. Bet he couldn't resist that healthy buyout package and hefty taxpayer pension. Can't say I blame him, I probably would have cut and run too. What is interesting is the reaction to his retiring as opposed to Mike Duffy's retirement from CTV. Sure, Duffy retired to become a Senator, and Newman is only retiring without any prospect of becoming a Senator, but it's interesting to see how the lefties perceive both retirements.

Such partisan assassination such as that attempted by Mr. Duffy should not have been tolerated from people like him, who falsely claim they are a "news source". And since everyone has been predicting this on blogs for years, it's pretty clear the fix was in, by Harper & Conservative TV (CTV) against Canadian's trust.

The demagogue has rewarded his jester with a lifetime of jewels. Some do it for 72 virgins, some accept their sheiks' oil money. In Harper-Canada, he sticks it to the taxpayer to make his propaganda artists comfy for life.

I often come home during the noon hour when Don hosted the program during Question Period. He asked tough questions and very insightful on what he was talking about. He didn't let his guests off easily and always ensured they stay on topic to the questions he was asking. He will be truly missed, and along with the recent retirement of Henry Champ, leaves a gaping hole in the political scene.

Unlike the pompous Mike Duffy, who was full of himself and much more style than substance ( and now we have to put up with him in the Senate), I wish Mr. Newman the very best in his retirement and whatever projects he may wish to take on next.

I suspect that the lefties don't even see their bias. They think Newman good, Duffy bad. Since Duffy has been gone, I have watched Power Play once or twice, it is a poor imitation of Mike Duffy Live, and now Politics will lose Newman, both shows will continue to tank no matter who hosts. Why? They look at 37% Conservative voters and 63% lefty voters and think they will win by slagging Conservatives. Not so.

Most voters are middle of the road voters, not Conservative or Liberal, they are not the ones watching these political shows, so they will make their minds up at election time.

What even my Liberal voting parents have noticed is that the media is biased, and they don't like it, they prefer to make up their own minds about who to vote for, not be told who they should vote for.

To decide that the elected governing party is wrong, and you are right?

To decide that Canadians didn’t really mean to elect the Conservatives again?

To tell us that we would be happier with a coalition government because only 38% voted for Conservatives, therefore 62% want your coalition government, when no one gave you enough votes to run the country?

To give separatists a bigger roll in government, when they want to break Canada up?

To subvert a duly elected government of Canada because you don’t like the fact that you lost?

To destabilize our stock market and economy because your feelings are hurt?

To feed at the public trough, without any accountability?

To make my vote and millions of other votes worthless.

To think taxpayers owe you money because you deserve their support?

To try to rule when we told you, we rejected you, and your parties?

To arrogantly assume we really wanted you to run Canada, and just somehow didn’t vote for you?

What gives you the right to think that you know best, and that we voters are ignorant, uninformed peons that need you to guide us out of the darkness. What if we think lefties are the darkness and have no morals, no plan, and no scruples? What if we think that you are the disease that needs to be erased, eradicated, and excised from our sight? How dare you try to think for me!

What gives you the right to force a coalition government on a freedom loving Canada. Who gives you any rights? The voters. In your rush of hate, you have forgotten the voters, and their desire to climb out of the dungeon of socialism into the light of conservatism.

You forgot the most important element of democracy in your rush to fulfill your own desires, you forgot the average Canadian voter. You forgot decency, desire and one little detail, what the average voter wants.

In your arrogance to push forward your agenda, you forgot that the voters want the Conservative agenda. Beware the rise of the silent majority, beware the rise of the west.

The malaise afflicting the Liberal Party is that it's a big-tent party with a good deal of talent, but talent unable to choose a leader and then get behind that leader. The Silent Majority!

It's not the politically active the Conservatives are going after, it's the silent majority. You see, the politically active have already picked their sides, they will not change their positions, but those silent Canadians, those Mom's and Dad's that toil away everyday, so they can give their kids a better chance in life, those are the Canadians the Conservatives are hoping to attract. The family people. The Tim Horton's crowd. The average Canadian not the elitist. Will they do it? I think so, here's one example of why I think they will get the silent majority on their side.

Today at lunch with some office mates, someone piped up and asked, "Will there be an election?" I think the guy was baiting the one outspoken Liberal in the crowd, knowing it would revoke a reaction. It did.

The guy went into a rant about the Conservatives having no agenda, how all the scandals lately were bad for the Conservatives and that they had nothing to offer. All your typical Liberal talking points, offered to us peons. You need to understand that this individual is the most arrogant person on staff. He runs to the president so often that he has been banned from the open office hours. He's a pest. He thinks his view is correct, all other views are wrong. In other words, he's an a$$. How did people react to his rant? Smiles and winks all around, which he didn't see because he was too busy raving about everything wrong with the Conservatives.

You need to remember that this is Alberta, and we give our few Liberals a chance to spew because the poor things have no chance of getting a federal Liberal elected here.

Eight of us sat down to lunch, only one ranted about the bad Conservatives, seven of us were silent. That's a silent majority. Believe it or not, Liberals are arrogant even here in Alberta, where they have no chance of winning.

The silent majority, sits back and quietly laughs at the arrogant Liberals who lecture us, and then we go vote Conservative just to tick them off even more.

Who Is The Bigger Security Risk?

Funny how the Liberals have been railing against Bernier and calling Couillard a security risk, but nothing is said about Khawaja, now on trial as a suspected terrorist!

Did you know he was on contract with the foreign affairs department in 2004 when he was arrested? I sure didn't!



So, I ask you, who is the bigger security risk? Khawaja or Couillard? The Liberals have asked for a public enquiry into the Couillard affair, not a whisper about suspected terrorist Khawaja working for the foreign affairs department when they were in government.

What is wrong with the foreign affairs department? They have been leaking like a pregnant woman in her ninth month, they hire a suspected terrorist, and they leak emails that impact the US elections, they need to be investigated and the Liberal moles found and fired. The whole department is starting to stink. I know that Conservatives like to give the benefit of the doubt to public servants, but this department is getting out of hand.

Further to Khawaja, he used the Liberal government to help plot mass murder.

OTTAWA - Momin Khawaja secretly used his Department of Foreign Affairs e-mail account to plot the mass murder of hundreds of Britons in the name of radical Islam, court heard on the opening day of the Ottawa man's landmark terror trial.

The plot included possibly unleashing high explosives at London's most popular nightclub, Europe's biggest shopping centre and utilities in and around the British capital in 2004, according to the prosecution.

"Massive destruction and loss of life" would have resulted, Crown attorney David McKercher said in his opening statement.

Massive destruction and loss of life, and this guy worked in foreign affairs? Funny how CTV fails to mention that in this article. They feel free to pillar Bernier over a girlfriend though.

I think the Liberals have their priorities all messed up. They hire suspected terrorists, and that's okay, but a Minister who has a shady girlfriend needs a full public enquiry? Get real! Or, as real as you can with your phony outrage about phony scandals!

Best of QP May 13, 2008 Dead Party Walking

Slander, corruption, smears, you name it, the "dead party walking" tried it today! We got Mulroney, Cadman, in and out, up and down, sideways, backwards, biker chicks, but the Liberals ended up hanging upside down, like bats, in caves. Luckily Iggy has the Puffins to hide their excrement, they just can't find any Puffins right now.

Seriously, all the Liberals did was fling poop hoping something would stick, like monkeys in the zoo. It's getting embarrassing for them, no policy, no principles, no morals.



PM Harper treats Dion's question with the respect it deserves, none. Various Conservative MP's provide ZINGERS as backup. Can you smell the winds of change? Conservatives are fighting back. It's Tuesday, where is the weekly "scandal"? Come on Globe/CTV haven't you fed some Liberal something? Anything?

Quite a boring QP overall, but I did find some interesting segments. Liberals continue to smear, what do they think they gain by that?



Szabo stands up and gets slammed. Findlay stands up and gets slammed, as a matter of fact, the Liberals just plain got slammed. Even the useless, pension loving, Canada hating, Bloq get slammed. That's how it went, Conservatives won this day!

The Long Reach Of The Liberals, Friends In All The Right Places.

It's okay for Liberals to sue Elections Canada but not the Conservatives. That's what the Liberals would have everyone believe.

Funny how the Liberals won against Elections Canada, and each leadership candidate got $50,000, but they never mention that little fight, wonder why?



They also seem to have inside information on the search warrant that they are just bursting to talk about, but can't because it would expose the fact that they have a pipeline to Elections Canada. How else could they have had a cameraman at the offices, BEFORE the raid?? Smells to high heaven.

I also think the RCMP were used by Elections Canada, and the Liberals to help smear the Conservatives. Could that be why on Friday the RCMP made an arrest related to adscam?

The RCMP said the allegations were uncovered during their ongoing investigation into the sponsorship scandal.

“It's highly likely that there will be other charges,” RCMP spokesman Corporal Luc Bessette said at a news conference.

The charges against Mr. Corbeil came three days after the Mounties helped the Elections Commissioner to raid Conservative offices in Ottawa, capping a difficult week for Liberals and Conservatives alike.

It appears more arrests are in the works. It's about time.

Liberals, Arrogant As Ever.

Question Period was a rich mine field today, starting with this little gem.

Jennings whose husband was appointed to some board (Someone remind me) is so arrogant she doesn't even blink when she is accused of doing the same thing the Conservatives are fighting Elections Canada about. She arrogantly states that she was cleared.



Right Jennings, so where is that 40 million? Did you get a brown envelope full of taxpayers money? Oh right, Gomery cleared all you Liberals, and now Elections Canada does the same thing. Funny how the Liberals knew all about the raid, who's the Elections Canada mole? Seems some snivel servants aren't quite as non-political as they should be, hope they are caught, and hung out to dry.

Using my freedom of speech, while I still have it, Bullpucks, you Liberals are so arrogant, you think you lost the last election because of an RCMP investigation. Wrong, you lost it because you did nothing for 13 years, nothing.

So arrogant, so Liberal, so sad you are in opposition. NOT!
