Nannygate: Evidence Mounts Against Dhalla

IRuby has been hung out to dry by Iggy and all the other Liberals. She is digging a hole so deep she might get back to India for another episode of, I hope they learned their lesson. At that time she used the; IRuby didn't mean it, IRuby am innocent and the media is misquoting me defense.

Face it, we all knew her first reaction was the true reaction. Because it happened in India, we didn't really care, and it didn't make big waves over here in Canada.

Now, we care. IRuby made a huge mistake testifying just after the very emotional nannies. IRuby came across as arrogant and uncaring, much like her comment, "I hope they learned a lesson", came across in India. IHunter think IRuby is in deep trouble. Watch this quick summary of what has been happening, Global did a good job emphasizing the details.

Watch it here!

IRuby is just one example of Liberal values, you know, those values they always yap about, but can never actually define. It appears she was using the government program to get cheap care for a Mother who didn't even need it. If this was an immigrant scamming the EI or welfare program, they could face deportation, but because this is a MP taking advantage of an immigrant, in my eyes it is even worse. She has no right to use her position as an MP to intimidate an immigrant. That is just so wrong on so many levels it makes me sick.

I understand she is innocent until proven guilty, but if that is the case, then so is Mulroney, and yet the Liberals continue to hound him for their political gain. What about a 20 year old tape of a Conservative who wasn't even an MP at the time? That was harped on endlessly by the MSM and lefties, for political advantage.

Only a lefty would close their eyes to what IRuby and her family did to those poor nannies. The court of public opinion has been used by the Liberals to convict Conservatives without a trial, it's the Liberals turn now. Funny how what goes around, comes back around.

The expression is, "What goes around, comes around." Back around is redundant.

Hunter I would say it's still a little early to jump to conclusions. We still don't know for sure who hired and paid these women, it's still a lot of she said, she said. But one thing for sure Ruby is certainly digging herself a hole with her defense and we still haven't heard from this close brother of hers, the one she throwing under the bus.

One question has yet to be asked or answered: why did Mrs. Dhalla need a caregiver, in the first place? For some reason, that issue has been AWOL.

I'd also like to know how come Mrs. Dhalla is now without a caregiver. Interesting.

As for the argument that they are immigrants and it is impossible for them to mistreat other immigrants - balderdash. Ever read The Godfather? Immigrants will mistreat their own people as well as other people. Regardless of the ethnic roots, people are people. Some are good and some are not good. Being immigrants has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

I also wonder why the caregivers did not go to the HRC. As for the question as to why they took so long to come forward - simple. A year ago, the McGuinty government did not have a program to listen to caregivers. Even when Fonseca handed out the 1-800 number, it was not functional. And, let's not forget that these caregivers are vulnerable and living in fragile stability - I would imagine that they were fearful of coming forward because, in so doing, they would be risking future employment opportunities.

SQuiggy - arret donc. T'es incroyablement effrayant. "Back around" is perfectly acceptable. Not everyone is as perfect as you make yourself out to be. Believe me, you make numerous grammatical errors in your comments.

"E of E. The Godfather was fiction..."

And the mafia is real. Asain gangs taget Asains, black gangs target blacks. Tamils target Tamils.

So what's your point?

Doh! Asians

Hunter- If all SQ can fault you on is your grammer then you have written a great post.

I concur completely.

SQ - duh, no kidding. But, as Paul said, there are real gangs. Toronto, a number of years ago, had a problem with Asian gangs - I believe that they were called Tongs. So, as Paul asked - what's your point.

I also agree with SOR - if you can only comment on irrelevant points, Hunter, and some of us commenters, have written good material. I note that you did not address any of my points but chose to belabour something as stupid as redundantly remind me that the Godfather was fiction. SQ - your comments are becoming very lame, indeed.

There have been insinuations that IRuby is difficult to work with and has had a high turnover in her office staff in Ottawa. Where are these people and why has IRuby not called on them to defend her, if she is a great employer and treats everyone with love and compassion.
