The Door Has Been Opened.

The end of the rule of law. Six brave police officers try to hold back 2000 angry protesters.

The rule of law keeps every person safe because everyone is considered equal by the law. So, why did these protesters get a free ride when they were obviously breaking the laws of our country.

It's sad that the Tamil's break the law to protest the treatment of terrorists who are killing Tamils. They even carry the flag of the terrorists. We are supposed to feel sympathy for them when they bring their young kids to a rally where they are breaking the law.

We have the First Nations blockading Caladonia for three years, now we have the Tamils breaking the law without getting arrested. Reverse racism is ugly and progressives are the first to jump into the pot. Iggy promised the Tamils, what? Talking about it in the closed Liberal caucus meeting? Get real Iggy, who believes you anymore?

The Liberals are vote hunting, they do not care about Tamils, if they did, they would have done something about it in the 13 years they were the government. Iggy is just pandering to the Tamil voters. As a matter of fact, it's funny that a message from the Liberals would end the protest. Prearranged? Preplanned? Who knows, but the media sure isn't talking about a conspiracy between the Liberals and the Tamils.

Ruby baby is trying to change the channel by eluding to a conspiracy against her, now Liberal leader Iffy is supporting an illegal Tamil protest, what a garbage party the Liberals are, they have no morals, and they are never responsible for their own lack of morals!

The door has been opened, who is next?

What would you have had the police do Huntsy?

As far as I am concerned, these 'Canadians of Convenience' have lost their right to be heard.

By putting children anywhere near this outrageous act,has placed them in the same category as the wimps that we refer to as terrorists.

These little people, were front and centre, likely causing the police to err on the side of caution.

We already know that the LIEberals have, inside their caucus, supporters of these demonstrators.
MI, is just the LIEberal's, window dressing.

BlueDog said...

Making backdoor deals and giving in to illegal protests is a sign of weakness, in the Liebrals case a degrading way to get votes.

How does one elude to a conspiracy Huntsy?

Sorry about the double post. OOps.

Personally, I think traffice should just keep going. It is up to the protestors to get out of the way.

Re a conspiracy-it is up to the liberals to prove there isn't one.
These protesors might be getting sympathy from librals but across Canada they are turning lots of people against any immigrant from a 3rd world country.
Pay attention canadians to who vote for the liberal party. Is that what you want to run your country.

That's illegal, you ignorant toad.

Life really must suck in Alberta if traffic congestion in Toronto is what causes Albertards to have conniptions.

Anyway, I'm off the lobby the Americans to boycott filthy Alberta oil.

More proof that liberals support terrorists and their killing of innocent people. They would rather use blood oil than clean oil.
Lots of semis out there with poor brakes that can't stop on a dime if they come upon a blockade.
Remember Kent U, no more protests after that. I agree, it is illegal for all those tamil terrorist supporters to blockade the highway.

"Remember Kent U,..."

Are you talking about the killings at Kent State? Hello, hello *tap* *tap* *tap* anyone home? What does that have to do with Tamils in Toronto? Or their acronym TITs?

How do you tell blood oil from good clean Alberta Tar Sands? BTW

Really? Why so much concern about the children at the protest. They are all still alive. Unlike about 100 who were killed over the weekend. Do you seriously believe they are terrorists too? Kind of like the passers-by at Kent State who were not even involved in the protests there.

Re Kent U, somebody either misunderstood orders or just got trigger happy and kids were killed. Among other things that stopped the student protest for a long time. Somebody is going to do the same thing at the tigers in Ont.

maryT said...

And wasn't it the tigers that killed those kids, the same people the protestors are supporting.
The facts I get from this circus is Tamils have no consideration for women or children.

Did you not read the link to the Kent State aftermath? 100,000 demonstrators in Washington, DC five days after? 450 campuses closed due to protests? "They can't kill us all"?

The only reason we still remember Kent State is because of the killings. Many protests went on before and after, without the protesters being shot.

And wasn't it the tigers that killed those kids, the same people the protestors are supporting.
No, it was artillery bombardments by the Sri Lankan government over the weekend.
Right now, the protesters are supporting an end to the civilian deaths. That is why they are in the streets. The Tamil independence movement is a separate issue. And the Tamil Tigers are separate from that.

Do you understand the difference between the PQ or the Bloc, and the FLQ?

The facts I get from this circus is Tamils have no consideration for women or children.
Exactly like the anti-choice protesters that place children right next to busy roads and force them to carry signs with abortion pictures.

That's different LS. THEY are Christians fighting the GOOD fight. The brown people on the other hand...not so much...

SQ you are the only one mentioning colour, this has nothing to do with colour, it has to do with an illegal protest. This has to do with using women and children as shields. This has to do with protesters supporting a terrorist group. But, I guess all YOU see if colour, shame on you!

hunter said...

Ted, do not EVER put a link to a lefty blog on my site, I never go to any lefty sites and my readers can find their own way to them if they want to.

Bec:"By putting children anywhere near this outrageous act,has placed them in the same category as the wimps that we refer to as terrorists."

How come there is no faux outrage about Israel using children as shields? Does this makes Israel a terrorist state?

Ted Betts said...

Holy crap.

I mention the hypocrisy of getting all hyper about this and not saying a thing about Hillier farmers blocking highways several times a few years back and I get censored? WTF?

maryT said...

Ted, do you forget that Goodale put farmers in jail and fined them megabucks for protesting.
And I don't think the farmers blocked traffic in both directions. They did not have children out there. Perhaps some women were driving machinery, but there are many women who own and operate farms and all the equipment.
Farmers were not demanding our government get involved in another countries problems. And of course there is always the CWB that western farmers have to live by, but eastern farmers do not.
When the tamils are put in jail, and fined, and perhaps get charged with child abuse, you might have a point.

hunter said...

Ted, DO NOT link to a lefty blog on my site, can you not read? Read my rules...I reserve the right to delete posts I consider unfit for my site or my readers.

Lefty blogs are unfit for my site, go post all you want there, or make your case with articles from the MSM, not lefty blogs.

I'm sure SQ, mystery meat, and LS will tell you the rules. Why do I care if your feelings are hurt? Get over yourself, you have been trolling all the blogging tories sites, why, I have no clue. Guess the lefty blogs are boring, or you are tired of everyone agreeing with what you say over at rabble. RAH RAH gets very boring after awhile.

You mistake me.

I am not upset at finding out another conservative is pro-censorship.

It is to be expected.

Great points MaryT, our farmers were protesting about their farms in Canada, and they were jailed, funny how lefties forget about that as they continue to support terrorists.

Ted Betts said...

Ah, MaryT, so much spin and so little facts. Nice try at inventing excuses on the fly though. Yes, they blocked traffic in both directions. Yes, they did it several times. And yes, they were white conservative farmers so I guess, yes, there is a HUGE difference.

Because the evil Tamil are protesting only to raise attention to the fact that their relatives are being slaughtered, whereas these brave famers were breaking the law, risking lives, etc. for... in one case more government aid, in another opening up the borders to more beef, in another "the farm crisis", in another... well you get the clear distinction.

And here are the links Hunter doesn't want you to see and deleted earlier. Let's see how long these ones stay up.

Jan. 2005:
Over a thousand farmers headed home to their farms after a day-long protest which blocked both east and west bound 401 traffic, hoping the government got the message.

Feb. 2006:
The Lanark Landowners Association stormed the international bridge at Johnstown Fri., Feb. 4, the latest salvo in its rolling Rural Revolution…
Meanwhile, other tractors blockaded Hwy. 401 here after rallying at both Angelo’s and the 730 truck stops at Johnstown and Cardinal respectively.

March 2006:
Farmers in Ontario are bringing the rural farming crisis into the big cities. On March 2 the CBC reported that thousands of farmers blocked traffic in downtown Toronto demanding more provincial aid.

March 2006:
Farmers stage protest on Ontario’s Highway 401
Some farmers occupied truck weigh scales on Highway 401 in Bowmanville, Oshawa and Mississauga. More than 300 people brought traffic to a crawl along a stretch of Highway 402 near Sarnia’s Blue Water Bridge border crossing.

April 2006:
It took the heart of eastern Ontario to launch a creative grassroots protest that plugged Wellington Street in front of Parliament Hill with 380 tractors.
A week later dozens of farmers in tractors blocked the delivery entrance to three food distribution terminals in Ottawa’s east end over three days. Tractors later circled the roundabout at 24 Sussex Drive, home to Prime Minster Stephen Harper.

March 2009:
Truck convoys to disrupt morning traffic on 401
A procession of truck drivers will make their way to Queen’s Park this morning, in protest of recent speed limiter legislation.
The truckers, travelling from Cambridge and Bowmanville in two convoys, are opposed to the law that came into effect Jan. 1, requiring trucks to have an electronic device restricting speeds to 105 km/h.

Ted Betts said...

Oh, and by the way, the organizer of many of those illegal, dangerous, highway blocking protests who, if you were to be consistent, should be thrown in jail too?

A guy who wants to be in charge of the province and provincial laws! Mr. Randy Hillier, serial law breaker.
