Supporting Out Troops!

They didn't want to, but with Iggy in hiding and Ruby in trouble, they actually had to cover the PM because he was non-controversial, and supporting our troops is always a good thing.

Watch PM Harper's speech and then make sure you watch the Liberal ex-military expert, Drapeau, funny how they call him Trudeau.

So, CTV thinks Drapeau means Trudeau, I remember Trudeau killing our military. I remember rows and rows of tanks parked on the military base, sitting and rusting while our military was called every name you can imagine. I remember a girl in grade five being shunned because her Dad was in the military, and townies didn't mix with army brats. Thank goodness the families banded together and welcomed them into our community. She is now a Doctor helping people in disadvantaged countries. What snobs we were. Townies thought they were better than our troops. We were (and I suspect still are) snobs. Trudeau made us embarrassed to support our troops, Liberals looked down their noses at the very people who keep our country safe.

Funny how Ruby has disappeared from the main news page, as has Iggy. Here is a snapshot of CTV news on line.

Quiet, apparently nothing is happening in the Liberal party, we are being told by the MSM to ignore anything bad about Liberals, the most disgusting example is an article by Don Martin in the National Post.

Smell all you want Don, but my smell test detects a pig at the Liberal trough.

Our troops deserve respect, and they are smart enough to realize that PM Harper is the real deal, he has made the military a priority, and when you drive around your town, pay attention to all the cars with "support our troops" decals on their bumpers. It's fashionable now to show your support for our troops.

Great job PM Harper, our troops need support, and they can smell out phony people in an instant. While Iggy is hiding, our PM is meeting with the EU to get a trade agreement and supporting our troops, not because it is fashionable, but because he truly believes our troops are heroes.

Touche Hunter!!!

The MSM are the ones who don't pass the smell test.

We all know that if this Ruby-gate was CPC, the papers, the televisions, the left leaning talk shows and the liberal blogs would be ALIVE with innuendo, smears and outright lies.

I am sure the regular crowd will be by telling us how wrong we are.

Waiting....Waiting....Waiting...

God Bless Our Troops and thanks to PM Harper for "being in the area (Europe)" and dropping in to say Hi and Thanks. Money well spent. No scandal here in my opinion.

It's amazing just how much has changed in the 3 short years PMSH has been Prime Minister.

Smaller incremental changes nationally, but internationally..wow.

Going from the Liberal Decade of Darkness to Canadians reborn pride in our military. Like the Highway Of Heros illustrates.

Leading the way on rejecting Durban 11;
being front and center at the table dealing with the global leaders and recession solutions;
brokering the Afghan-Pakistan border agreement;
EU and Americas trade deals, reducing our dependency on US trade;
bringing down provincial trade barriers to unite the country to go on international trade missions....

it's a long list of accomplishments

Funny how liberals have a strange propensity to befriend world dictators. The very scum that have used thier military to murder thier own countrymen.

Obama's new found friend Hugo, his bowing to the Saudi king and Cuba now the latest US territory should open peoples eyes, but to the latte sipping, Che Guevara t-shirt wearing nutjobs, they wouldn't know evil if it bit them on the face.

Castro sitting in the pew at Trudeau's funeral was quite telling. Justin Trudeau's documented fawning over 'Uncle Fidel' is quite frightening too.

Harper is genuine in his respect for our Armed Forces. The lefties beleive that soldiers should only be used for passing out chocolate to poor foreign children when on 'blue helmet' missions for the corrupt U.N.

Once upon time our troops were very really mentioned in the media not until the PMSH and his party came into power to take over what the liberals lacked the pride in doing-RESPECTING OUR TROOPS AND GIVING them the necessary up-to- date equipments which they (troops) needed badly.

Now, the media are playing catch-up, pretending they care.'TOO LATE'

The PMSH deserves better NATIONAL media reporting. The ones we have, well, belong to the LIBERALS ALONE.
And the media wonders why their ratings are down.

Welcome Jen!!! I wonder if the Toronto Star is realizing that their sales might increase if they become more balanced. Most of us are shocked that they would expose Ruby like they did.

It's almost like the Star is moving right and the National Post is moving left (Martin's post is a good example).

Hunter, the National Toast is about to go bankrupt. They are not publishing on Mondays this summer. (It's takes 5 shares of CanWest to buy a cup of Timmy's) :)

LS - point taken but do note that none of us said that what Chamberlain did was acceptable. As for Nixon - blech. Despicable man on all fronts. I take it that you do not support any politician shaking hands or supporting terrorists or dictators; whether that politician is Liberal or Conservative.

As for SQ - typical silliness.
