I vote Conservative because I want the individual to count. I want people to succeed on their own merits. I do not want the "elites" telling me what to do and think. I care about family first, I love my kids and try to make sure they are happy, I am sure lefties feel the same way, so why vote Conservative?
What makes one person vote Liberal and another vote Conservative? I think being a Conservative is all about doing for yourself not relying on the government. Conservatives are doers. They don't just talk, they don't write reports, they get to the root of the problem and solve it.
Liberals talk about a problem and create committees to study the problem but they seldom solve anything. That is why Iggy is like a ghost, he has no opinions, no policies and no direction for his people. At least Dion stood for something, Iggy stands for nothing.
Liberal values; suck up to terrorists, special interest groups and immigrants. Hire immigrants to shine your shoes, and demand your entitlements. Support swingers clubs because that is so "now". Reject religion because you are too smart to be taken in by it, but global warming is real because Gore created a movie about it.
Why do you vote Conservative? What do you want to see if the Conservatives ever get a majority and don't have to cater to the leftist voters?
I have my priorities; get rid of the CWB and CBC, reduce the power of racists unions, allow income splitting for families, spend more on the disabled and seniors, and quit banning everything.
What do you want to see?
