It's okay for Liberals to sue Elections Canada but not the Conservatives. That's what the Liberals would have everyone believe.
Funny how the Liberals won against Elections Canada, and each leadership candidate got $50,000, but they never mention that little fight, wonder why?
They also seem to have inside information on the search warrant that they are just bursting to talk about, but can't because it would expose the fact that they have a pipeline to Elections Canada. How else could they have had a cameraman at the offices, BEFORE the raid?? Smells to high heaven.
I also think the RCMP were used by Elections Canada, and the Liberals to help smear the Conservatives. Could that be why on Friday the RCMP made an arrest related to adscam?
The RCMP said the allegations were uncovered during their ongoing investigation into the sponsorship scandal.
“It's highly likely that there will be other charges,” RCMP spokesman Corporal Luc Bessette said at a news conference.
The charges against Mr. Corbeil came three days after the Mounties helped the Elections Commissioner to raid Conservative offices in Ottawa, capping a difficult week for Liberals and Conservatives alike.
It appears more arrests are in the works. It's about time.

I feel that the National Press Gallery is with holding alot of information from us. I wonder how they can face themselves in the mirror every morning? Hopefully one of them will do the right thing and be honest with Canadians. No wonder things got so bad with the sponsorship scandal and the Liberal party. The National press Gallery looking the other way created that monster and I believe they would do it all over again to protect the Liberals.And after all the loyality of the press, the Liberals turn and step on them without thinking twice. Look what happened with the CBC and Pablo. Only Krista was held to account, business as usual for the Liberals. The relationship with the Liberals and the National Press gallery is almost like the battered wife syndrome. Sad...
The only reason that Pablo was exposed was because the arrogant Liberals thought EVERY reporter was their friend, especially an ex-Liberal MP from Quebec. Oops.
What about Ian L MacKenzie telling MDL that Elections Canada had taken all the records of the Conservatives to be used in the court case against them? Where's the outcry about that little tidbit? Elections Canada takes evidence against themselves in a raid? Not one reporter jumps on that little baby.
Also notice that all on line reports of the Liberal arrest are now buried deep inside their sites.

Two sets of rules, one for lefties, one for Conservatives. I think the media has been displaying this very brightly, maybe so brightly that the average voter is catching on to their game.

Tell us anon, why is it that Elections Canada NEVER investigated all the Liberal charactors in the Adscam minidrama?
I'm pretty sure that all those bags, stuffed with stolen taxpayer cash, and slipped to Liberal candidates as well as the Liberal party,
exceeded election spending limits.
Where is the investigation from Elections Canada,
we have the crime of the century, and not a peep said, not a page requested, by EC.
Perhaps Cons and NDPers should request
1) a committee investigation and 2) an EC investigation.
Maybe right after Dion unrolls out of the fetal position to bring down the gov't.
