LeBlanc Knocked Out by Pierre

Boxing is a sport. Pierre is floating like a butterfly, and stinging like a bee. (Yes, corny, but true). He's a pesky guy, Liberals don't like him much because he is like a terrier, they don't let go of their prey, and they shake the guts out of them. Kind of like this:

What amazes me is how the Liberals can get up day after day in the House, without being embarrassed. LeBlanc is a prime example, he actually had to change his Elections Canada claims, but that's okay? He just shrugs it off and continues to smear the Conservatives. Speaking of smear, how is that Mulroney/Schrieber thingy going Liberals? How is that Cadman, Naftagate, Smearanything Conservativegate going? Cue the crickets.

"What amazes me is how the Liberals can get up day after day in the House, without being embarrassed." -- You must be a recent adherent to Canadian politics! I have been observing Liberal activities for 3 decades and can say without any pomp or ceremony, they are a self-serving, self-centered breed with little concept of honour, ethics or shame. They can rise every day without being embarrassed because to do otherwise would require a sense of personal right and wrong - Liberals dont possess that sense.

I agree Ron, wholeheartedly...funny really how remarkably deluded they are in believing that the present government is simply an aberation and that they will return on white steeds as soon as we all realize how stupid we've been..lol Harper is doing an amazing job and frankly it's the first time in decades that I've been proud of our PM. The previous administrations were a source of endless embarrassement for me because you never knew what rubbish would come out of their mouths. I have to commend Pierre for his performance in the HC yesterday. The Liberals humiliated themselves over and over again thinking they were so clever with their arrogant tauntings.

Is it Dion or Goodale who sets the QP agenda? Eitherway, I wonder if the likes of Leblanc or Dryden ever say in their caucus meetings, "oh please not me again. Can't you get some other back bencher to ask that? I'm tired of looking like a jackass."

I listened to Gloria Galloway doing the intro to QP yesterday. The CTV anchor asked her if people really cared about the whole in-and-out "thingie", and Galloway's rather shame-faced response was that according to the volume of letters received on the topic by the Globe & Mail, the answer was probably not.

Her point that letters to newspapers provide a measure of public interest in a topic is a very good one, but obviously not one that the Liberals agree with.

As other people have posted on this and other blogs, I really think that most Canadians couldn't care less about all these so-called scandals, and that the Liberals are just totally out of touch. I know we had the requisite poll from Decima yesterday proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that a large majority of Canadians are convinced that the Conservatives did something illegal in the last election, but GIGO. At the end of the day, if the Liberals believed this poll and the others showing strong support for the opposition, we would already be in an election, particularly given M. Dion's oft-cited comment that he will force an election when he thinks he can win.

Off topic. But did you see Flaherty lash out at Goodale's heckling today? If I was drinking a beverage it would have shot out my nose.

Still trying to milk the "not a leader" routine, eh? M. Dion has always had a much bigger goal than simply winning an election. He wants to obliterate the CPC. Simply by watching them self destruct. They're doing that right on cue. Your bleating about how great PMSH is fun to laugh at.

"He wants to obliterate the CPC. Simply by watching them self destruct." Oh pullllleeze! Good luck with that! The delusion continues. You see anon, whatever damage you think you've delivered or are delivering ... it won't go anywhere. You insult the intelligence of Canadians when YOU bleat on and on about how evil, distructive and cold-hearted Harper is. They see through that and if they don't they are VERY naive ,painfully gullible and easily manipulated. Anyone who follows politics with a discerning mind instead of just reading headlines and running with them, will see through all the nasty lies being shovelled down their throats every day in QP and in the media. I know and I'm sure most THINKING people will have the last laugh as you all slither back into your holes wondering what the hell happened to your grand plan to destroy the big bad evil Stephen Harper. Good Lord anon, grow up!

I point out the truth. You attack me. Is ad hominem all you have?

Why is this so easy?

Hahahahahaha!

He was trying to respond to a question from McCallum and I guess the hedgehog wouldn't shut up.

He said something along the lines the "the member from Wascana should stop his barking and he will make a good mayor of Regina one day."
