Friday Funny, Back In Time!

I am a closet Dean Martin fan and any political blog that can somehow work Dean Martin into a post gets full marks and kudos from me.
Those were different times.
It is too bad the thought police would have us looking down upon them and their actions.

It is sad Ardvark. Be careful what you say, what you blog, what you comment, what you think. I loved Dean Martin, why should you be a closet fan? He was just plain funny.
My husband and I went to Vegas, he wanted to see Rodney Dangerfield, so we went, he was hilarious, and at the end of the show he asked a lady to come up, it was a kiss for his tie. We were really close to the stage, so I kicked off my high heels and got there before any other woman did. He asked where I was from and when I said Canada, he said, "Oh, Canada, they declared themselves a country and nobody came."
I still have the tie.
Did you notice how Dean was using Georges drink as an ash tray...!

The closet is the age gap between my self and my kids as well with many of those I work with.
Most have no clue what who Dean Martin was. My eclectic music selection on my mp3 player might has well be from the moon as far as this crowd knows.
Sad, but I do my best to try and inform them all of the cool that was Dean Martin.
