The old "hidden agenda" is being dusted off, and used by CTV. What a bunch of bigoted reporters they have, from Giggles Jane with her "hidden agenda", to Fife with his "knuckle draggers", they are going all out to paint the Conservatives as "scary". Watch this and see what I mean.
Now, I understand that Brison is gay, but that does not give him the right to call a comment hateful, (stupid maybe, but hateful?) that does not mean we have to tippy toe around gay issues. As a matter of fact, I think Brison should have shown some class, and accepted the apology. That would have made the Liberal party appear tolerant. "Progressives" just showed us how bigoted they really are.
Hey Scott, 17 years ago, had you "come out"? Or did it take the changes in public opinions before you did so? The same changes that allowed many people, some over 40, to change their opinions. The same changes that allowed you to get married without any hassle. The Liberal and MSM line is that after 40 your views are set in concrete, guess the Liberals and MSM are stuck on stupid then, and the views they hold today, will not change ever.
Murray, is another story, is she so politically stupid that she thinks she is improving her chances of being re-elected? Does she not have a built in sniff meter that tells her to stay clear of this issue?
How much blood is enough? Will the MSM/Liberal's only be satisfied when the Liberals are back in power? Do they want to destroy a real person's life? Do they not care that his family is suffering with him? It seems not.
Power is the only objective of the Liberals, and they don't care who they trample or how many lives they ruin to get there. Shame.

The context and timing of any so-called 'hate' comments is crucial.
Way back when, I took a University course titled "Abnormal Psychology", which included a chapter on homosexuality - right before necrophilia.
These days, that kind of book would be considered an example of hate speech. How times have changed.
The liberals think now this is their new "News story" where they will try and get the "heat" off their complete incompetence and they sure have the MSM help!. Question Period had Martha Hall Finlay on yesterday... bringing up... how many other members of the Harper Government feel this way, etc. etc. and then Jane saying people over 40 just can't change. Well I guess that means all the news media, her, Oliver and Fife, can't change either... Fife wants more answers, well we deserve more answers as well, If he feels this way, how many of his past stories reflects these views against the Conservative Government, and Jane as well. They were given their jobs under the liberals and they still think they are working for them and maybe working to put them back in power.... It is time we had them on the hot seat and asked them some questions, their job is to report the news not slant it in the liberal favor all the time... It is time this was exposed to their sponsors, that we as Canadians do not appreciate being called names either by the reporters of the media they are sponsoring. If Brison doesn't like being called, well we as a group do not like it either.... by a reporter who supports the liberal party...
I was a first aid instructor in the late 80's/early 90's. My wife works in a hospital. We were discussing this on Sat on a drive. In 1991 we were both being taught that Gays were a high risk for HIV. This was before Universal Precautions in hospitals and you did consider "high-risk" groups in determining how you reacted. Now, you just assume everyone is HIV positive. I'm not sure that's progressive.
The dirt under the finger nails comment might be hateful. It was certainly inaccurate.

I'm over 40. My opinions about certain things have changed. That is of the media. I used to respect the media and thought they were accurate and objective giving us all the facts in their reporting. I don't see it that way anymore. Their so called reporting in my opinion has become nothing more than gossip, inaccuracies,ommissions, for their own self serving purposes. The members of especially the national media have become but mere gossip columnists.

I think we should just drop this issue now. The majority of Canadians are satisfied with Lukiwski's appology. Further harping of the issue by the Left will just alienate the majority of Canadians who don't find this a big issue. And the ultra Lefties who do still think this is an issue will never support the Conservatives anyways. So why bend over backwards trying to satisify people who will never support you anyway?

The only people who's Vote the Conservatives would lose on a matter like this are those that would never vote anything but what they always have (Liberal, or NDP hippy trash), so it's a non issue.
