Two new "ladies" arrived on the Hill today. Miss Smug, and Miss Smear, entered with a stench, not a bang.
Watch this video clip of Martha and Joyce, see Martha's nose and smug look? How about Joyce, it appears she has some sort of poltergeist infestation. When is her head going to spin around? Are Liberals really Aliens, and did I catch it live for all to see? (Or is my computer totally fried?)
What struck me is that on their first chance to stand in the house, both "ladies" tried to smear the Conservatives. Both women looked like idiots, and as a woman, this disappointed me, I thought they would show some class, sadly they didn't. I was hoping for better things from Martha, because I like her, or I should say liked. Past tense.
Miss Smug, and Miss Smear, quite the addition to the Liberal party. HA!

I don't know anything about Joyce, but Martha Hall-Findlay managed to make Belinda look good in Newmarket-Aurora. I don't see how that makes her a star.
For all the women out there who consistently call for a more balanced House because having more women in politics will change the tone -- please look at these clips -- Women are as capable of being partisan shills as men. It is too bad that they used their first moment in Parliament to perfom as partisan puppets as opposed to asking questions relevant to their constituents and region. Guess they are any better than all the rest. Too bad

I didn't make that video up, it's really what those two "ladies" did on their first day in the House, and I am not impressed. If you watch that clip and honestly think they did a great job, fine.
I think they were partisan shrills, as Ron points out, and did nothing to earn my respect.
