His Only Crime Is Hypocrisy!

Pierre Poilievre had a star appearance today in Question Period, he slammed Duceppe, Layton, and saved the best for Liberal MP Belanger. All opposition parties are looking desperate these days. Wonder what they heard in their ridings?

Pierre did a great job, he called the opposition parties out on their own little, in and out schemes. He called out the Liberals for doing the same thing the Conservatives are fighting Elections Canada about. The opposition should be joining with the Conservatives on this issue, because next election the rules will be the same, but the spotlight will be on ALL parties.

The Bloq is totally useless, why are they even in the House? They have no reason to exist anymore, and Quebec is waking up to that realization. The Bloq can not do anything for Quebec, they will never have access to federal funds, and Duceppe is left with trying to create scandals, just like the Liberals and NDP. Layton was in full cry today, crying about something the NDP has done themselves.

The funniest was the Liberals, trying to talk economics. Have they forgotten that our PM just happens to be an economist? Does Dion seriously think he can go toe to toe with PM Harper on the economy, especially when Dion is talking about implementing a carbon tax? Is someone giving Dion bad advise on purpose? Read the comments at CTV, seems the average voter is not as dumb as Dion thinks they are, bad news for the Liberals. Better hurry on over to a Tamil Tiger fund raiser.

This really exposes the hypocrisy coming from the Liberal party. It looks like they had their own "in and out" campaign financing scheme during the 2006 Federal Election.

Hunter, I have added this link to this post:

http://crux-of-the-matter.com/2008/04/29/only-in-and-out-is-opposition-hyperventilating/

I hope this is the type of thing you are planning for the list of accomplishments. It is VERY effective. Let me know.

Young Pierre is the laughing stock of Ottawa. 55% of Canadians find something creepy about Harper and his gang of half-wits according to Harris-Decima. Take a look a the CPC talking heads. You'll be staring at the reasons why Stephen Harper will NEVER achieve a majority govt in this country. -Lou Preston, Ottawa

Really Louey....Maybe you should quit listening to leftist pollsters...maybe you should check out some of the other polls that show Harper and his "half-wits" still leading the pack.

Seems like that "laughing-stock" kind of has the last laugh now, doesn't it?

Thanks for the link Sandy. Yes, I have a speech by PM Harper ready to roll, and your list of accomplishments which I will impose on the speech. It's going to take awhile though, every 3 minute Youtube video takes me about 2 hours to make.

Go get 'em Alberta Girl!!

ok lou...if that is the case, tell your libs to bring the govt down and have an election.

but wait...

the libs keep abstaining on issues they say they don't agree with the conservatives on.

I wonder why? Maybe it's because their own internal numbers suggest that they will not win an election, and that people are actually ok with a conservative govt...

The more of the hypocrisy of the opposition that's exposed the better.
It all needs to come out. The public
needs to know the WHOLE truth.
And yes, as Pierre put it, what the Liberals did was not wrong but that they are hypocrits.

Let me get this straight. The New Cons fight an election campaign on a platform espousing transparency, accountability; that they were going to clean up government, do away with Liberal schemes that rewarded insiders with taxpayers money. And then in fact, the New Cons form a government, a minority no less, then come the revelations that in fact the opposite is true, that transparency is done with mirrors, and by accountability they mean, suing everyone in their way, and rewarding insiders and party hacks with taxpayers dollars. My friend, there are no shortages of online definitions for the word hypocrisy. Look it up. There, you will find The Conservative Party of Canada. A biblical example of the very essence of its meaning. Hypocrites.

Not in Quebec..concrete examples please?

Or are you trying to state fiction masquerading as fact?

Read a newspaper, Watch the news. Stay away from New Con Bloggers. Check your mailbox for photocopied type New Con flyers. You friend, and the rest of you New Cons in the bunker are in:

Denial: A defense mechanism' postulated by Sigmund Freud, in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence.
(...)
The subject may deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimisation) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference).

"Not in Quebec"...Then, let me guess: Toronto? Vancouver? Newfoundland?

"And then in fact, the New Cons form a government, a minority no less,"

Uh?, are you saying they deliberately set themselves to have a minority? D'uh!

Tell your Lieberal masters to bring them down...If Harper and co are so bad, What are you Canadian social justice champions waiting for anyway?

Too bad Peter Mackay sold out Progressive Conservatives to the Loony Right, because I'm sure they'd be looking pretty good right about now.

off topic - DaveRutherford today (29th) at 9:30, announced one of the GreenPeace people who jumped down onto Premier Stelmach's speech - works for Alberta NDP -Rachel Notley.

The Toronto Star has a pretty well balanced column on the so called "in and out" thing. You can access it through National Newswatch.

The Conservative party is now exposed as a criminal enterprise. The rot starts at the top on down

Anony- you really have to be kidding right. You have your political parties mixed up, sweetie.

Remember - the Tories spent THEIR OWN MONEY - unlike the Liberals, who STOLE yours and mine. Now that's the definition of ROT.

Hopefully they get to the top of the rot in that scam.

The criminal Conservatives broke the law and overspent on the election, possibly affecting its outcome. Then the criminal Conservatives attempted to be reimbursed for this out of taxpayer funds. This with the approval and knowledge of the top leadership.

The Liberals used taxpayer money to save Canada from the separatists. Since the criminal Conservatives broke the law by spending too much on advertising, they must understand the importance of advertising. During the Quebec referendum, the separatists were denied access to the best advertising agencies due to the federal government hiring them. Having them "do nothing" is just as acceptable as having them plaster the province with federalist ads, and may have been a better strategy, as long as it displaced the separatists' ability to get out their message.

Low level people diverting funds into subsequent elections is certainly criminal, and the investigations have been ongoing and people prosecuted.

Not only did the top Liberal leadership not condone or order this illegal diversion, they actually started the investigations into it. Contrast that with the criminal Conservative leadership, now floating conspiracy theories, and doing anything except try to resolve this.

Will the criminal Conservatives knowingly break the law in the next election?

Anony - you can't possibly believe what you wrote here. Saying "criminal conservatives" doesn't make it so, anony.

And anony - the RCMP have NOT finished their investigation into the actual CRIME - adscam - We need to wait to see what "high level Liberals" might just have been involved. As they work their way UP the ladder, we might all be surprised (well some of you might be) at who falls off that ladder.

Saying "criminal conservatives" doesn't make it so, anony.

Perhaps, I was simply borrowing from you. Saying ADSCAM often enough seems to be your strategy. And unlike the Liberals who after several years have still not had high ranking members implicated, we already know PMSH knew about and approved of the criminal in and out scam.

Meanwhile, hunter, after moaning about ad hominem attacks, calls me either a mental patient or a drug addict.

Good old CPC hypocrisy. Great to see it out in the open in all its glory.
