RCMP Independent Investigator, Who Will It Be?

I heard Stockwell Day saying that they have someone in mind. Who could it be?

Here's my guess: Ed Broadbent

He's highly respected, totally honest, and believeable. Also, we know that no one can then state that the Conservatives are appointing a investigator who is Conservative.

I'm I out to lunch? Is he qualified?

I don't think Stockwell meant a political investigator. I think he means a highly trained criminal forensics investigator to lead an equally trained police team.

I'm thinking he might be best served by going out of country like Australia did to clean up their corrupt wheat board (corrupted by politicians and big money sales to world despots/terrorist states with a cut to some nice yummy United Nations guys in the middle -much like I suspect we have going on with our wheat board ).
Sorry - that's off topic but a criminal investigation will require a criminal investigator in my opinion.
Broadbent would not be considered such nor is he impartial.

Good comments by both of you. So, who could it be that would satisfy all opposition parties?
