Question period is so boring when PM Harper is not there. Peter Van Loan does a great job, but it's still more fun to watch when PM Harper gets up to answer the opposition questions, it's always like a cat playing with a mouse.
So, what are the opposition parties doing? Well, May of the Greens is telling us that a carbon tax is a great idea, because, well, because they will give it back as an income tax decrease, well, then why take it in the first place?
No tax is ever a good tax, none!
Then we had Dion out in the west, I think, I'm not sure but he might have even been in Alberta, why? Are his handlers idiots, what does Dion seriously think he can gain by coming to Alberta, reduce the vote from 70% to 60% here? Not likely.
The Bloq, want more money for festivals in Quebec, the budget isn't even passed but they already want the money, they keep on saying they need it now, not at the end of the summer when the program will be in place. They disgrace themselves constantly by demanding more money for Quebec.
The NDP, a nothing party, that has the pulse of no one in Canada, so they rate down there with the Greens. Send Layton to Afghanistan, let him talk to the troops, see some Taliban, see some little Afghan children that are being helped. Not going to happen.
PM Harper is way more respectable than any PM we have had in years, thank goodness Canada does not need to be embarrassed anymore by our leader. That's what the average Canadian is going to see, no matter how hard the MSM try to spin it.
