Young Criminals GET Punishment Act!

Well, well, it appears the Conservative message is breaking through, into the light! We need to get tough on youth commiting violent crimes, all it took was a former politicians' son to get stabbed and another old lady to get beaten by youth thugs!

N.S. Premier wants teens gone wild corralled

HALIFAX — A 15-year-old girl stared blankly at the courtroom floor Wednesday as the Crown recounted how she allegedly beat a senior citizen with metal table legs in what appears to be a random, yet violent attack.

The young girl, who can't be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, sat stone-faced as Crown attorney Bob Nisbet described how she and two other teens allegedly chased the 66-year-old woman on a dark city walkway, saying nothing as they repeatedly struck her.

“It was a meaningless bit of violence,” Mr. Nisbet said in court as the accused, a baby-faced teen with long, dark hair, fiddled with her hands and glimpsed occasionally at her mother. “She received numerous blows.”

Nice, randomly beat up an old lady with metal table legs. Now, I bet they just found those table legs, and were just carrying them to a dumpster, when they thought some rapist was attacking them, so they beat him up. They were shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you when they realized it was really an old lady they had mistaken for a rapist.

That's their story, and they are sticking to it, or some such tale that the bleeding heart judge will buy, and let them out on house arrest, AGAIN!

What is ironic is that now, we hear this:

The bail hearings come just as Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald urged Ottawa to toughen Canada's Youth Criminal Justice Act in the wake of a spree of brutal attacks by young people.

Where have you been, Rodbaby? Yapping about the Atlantic Accord, instead of looking after your province, and now you want the Feds to listen to you?

Well, I'm sure the Feds, will have something about the Youth Criminal Justice Act, in the works, if you remember the Conservatives have always been the party of law and order.

Just the name itself, youth criminal justice act, sounds like you get youths who are criminal, and they get to decide what justice they think should be metted out to their victims, then they act, like killing a rival drug dealer, beating an old lady, don't worry about punishment, not going to happen with our courts.

Maybe the Conservatives should bring in a "Young Criminals GET Punishment Act", there that fixes it. Now let's see some teeth put back into law and order, and most especially our courts!

Oh, and just to lighten things up a bit! Someone at Canoe, thinks the C-17 is Sexy!!

The gigantic, 200-tonne bird of steel is sexpected to have an effect on Canadian troop confidence as they continue to battle with Taliban insurgents, Maisonneuve said in a short interview shortly after landing.

"This plane will have a positive impact on the morale of the troops. Speaking with my colleagues, I can tell you that everyone is happy to know that we have modern tools at our disposal and a better (transport) capacity than before," he said.

Well, sexpected to have an effect on the troops, might not be the effect the military wants from troops away from home for months regarding a plane.
