American Iggy!

We know the guy has been out of the country for most of his life, and it shows in his questions during question period.

The guy is boring, out of touch with Canadians, and arrogant. The opposition is yelling that the Conservatives have not acted FAST enough when the US Congress just passed the bill on January 29th and the Senate has not passed it yet. Layton is proposing "buy Canadian" just like Obama, what a follower.

It appears that Obama has been listening to governments around the world:

The controversial "Buy American" clause being considered as part of a massive U.S. stimulus bill has raised enough of a stir among America's trading partners that President Barack Obama has hinted it may have to be amended or reviewed.

In an interview, the U.S. president said any provision included in his stimulus bill that would violate World Trade Organization agreements, or signal protectionism, "would be a mistake right now."

"That is a potential source of trade wars that we can't afford at a time when trade is sinking all across the globe," Obama told ABC News.

"We need to make sure that any provisions that are in there are not going to trigger a trade war."

Is that FAST enough for the American Iggy? Who knows, he thinks out of control Newfoundland MP's should be treated differently than all other MP's. I wait for the next explosion from Quebec Liberal MP's, you know it's coming to bite Iggy big time!

American Iggy, he got appointed, or should I say anointed by the Liberals, and they are going to pay for it in the next election. Dion was a lost little puppy, but Iggy is your typical Liberal elitist, that should go over big out here in the west, if he even remembers that we exist.

What is truly funny to watch is Martha Hall Findlay peeking out from her new designated spot on the back benches. I understand Dion is even further away from Iggy.

I agree that Iggy will not play well with we westerners.

The test is going to come when he is forced to give Quebec MP's favoured status or incur the wrath of that province.

The Libs accuse the CPC of decentralizing power but Iggy sure demonstrates how it is done.

And done he will be because he will not be able to control the leftists in his caucus. They have had free reign under Dion for too long. Cheers.

In his speech at the G20, PMSHs theme was 'no protectionism'.

I really like how discreet PMSH is.
No doubt he has 'picked up the phone' to voice his concerns with O.
PMSH doesn't tell just to make himself look good, to Obama's detriment.

Uniting the Left doesn't even seem remotely possible. Canadians will hopefully at some point wake up to what harper has actually been able to do. No small feat. Watching the "coalition" twitch and moan is delicious.
