Friday Funnies: Pillows

The first funny, is from my husband, who is now black and blue. Just kidding, he's unhurt, for now! HA!

THE BOTTLE OF WINE

For all of us who are married, were married, wish you were married, or wish you weren't married, this is something to smile about the next time you see a bottle of wine:

Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road.

As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride.

With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.

Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally.

'What in bag?' asked the old woman.

Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, 'It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband.'

The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two. Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said:

'Good trade.....'

Let's not forget our animal friends!

Vicious Guard dog for rent:

Actually, this is our guide dog in training, Enzo. He is not actually on our couch, that is an optical illusion, he is really on the floor that just looks like a couch. He is a beautiful boy,

and he will be leaving us soon to venture out into the world with his blind person, Ray. They will be a great team, both love walking fast and coffee at Tim Horton's.

Remember, spring is just around the corner, just don't ask me which corner. Have a great evening/morning.

Is Enzo with Dogs with Wings? I have done some volunteer work with them so perhaps we have met in the real world and did not even know it.

Yes, he's a Dog with Wings! That would be funny if we have met.

Oh boy - I absolutely love Labradors and guide dogs - well there is surely a place in Heaven just for them. And bless you for fostering him. There's a special place in Heaven for people like yourself, as well, Hunter.

Ah for a good bottle of wine and a lap dog

Thanks for the FNF and for doing good works with your dogs.

DWW is a great organization. Cudos to you for taking a dog. We considered it but decided it would be too hard to give him up.

That, and the fact I already had a dog (may he rest in peace) who was less than well behaved.
