Prisoners? They Want Prisoners?

Well, here is the solution to Obama's Gitmo problems. Let's see, Gitmo has some prisoners that need a new home, and we have some innocent people being held by terrorists.

I would be perfectly willing to have an exchange. Our Canadian diplomats are worth one Canadian Gitmo prisoner, heck they are worth at least 40 Gitmo terrorists.

Al-Qaeda want prisoner exchange for Canadian diplomats

UNITED NATIONS -- Suspected kidnappers of two Canadian diplomats on a United Nations mission to Niger have set a "prisoner exchange" as a condition for their release, Canwest News Service has learned.

This emerges as al-Qaeda's wing in North Africa Tuesday claimed responsibility for holding Robert Fowler and his Foreign Affairs aide Louis Guay -- as well as four Western tourists kidnapped in Niger's neighbour Mali, near the border between the two countries.

Six innocents for 40 prisoners from Gitmo, just make sure that Omar Khadr is one of those prisoners exchanged. Lefties should be happy with that solution, Khadr would go free, and Gitmo would start to get cleared out. It's a win win solution!

Neither Canada nor the UN would have control over any prisoners the kidnappers might seek in the region.

As such, officials assigned to the search for the trio fear the quest for a resolution will be lengthy, sources said on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the investigation.

Now, I'm not sure how all those Gitmo prisoners will get along with the North African Al Qaeda, but I'm sure they can work it out. They are all brothers aren't they? HA!

Why aren't the Al Qaeda asking for their terrorists back from Gitmo if it is such a hellhole? Guess there is no honour amongst terrorists.
