As A Conservative, I Support PM Harper!

I like and respect PM Harper, and most importantly I support my Conservative MP, James Rajotte, the committee chairman of the Finance committee. It is important to realize that PM Harper can not do everything by himself, even though the MSM would like you to think that PM Harper is such a tyrant that he has TOTAL control over ALL his MP's. I know for a fact that this is not true.

My MP constantly consults his constituents to find out what bills he should support. He gets over 60% of the vote, not only because he is a Conservative, but many Liberals support him because he a fair person and represents all people in his riding. He gains respect because he is an honest and moral person.

I was just called about getting a free trial subscription to the Globe and Mail, they used the line that they had recently revised their format, same song I heard a year ago from another Globe and Mail representative. They have changed nothing. They understand nothing. I told them I get the National Post for free at work, they hung up. HA!

Is it really so hard for them to understand that they are losing 38% of their readers because of their openly Liberal bias? The media thinks we are stupid.

Well if being proud of my PM for the first time in years is stupid, so be it. I cringed every time I saw Chretien on the world stage. I would have laughed at Martin, but actually felt sorry for him because he was clearly out of his depth. Iffy will change nothing, and if he wants to be compared to Trudeau, good luck with that buddy!

I watch question period now, I never did before, I never cared about what our politicians were doing, until Adscam was exposed, then I got mad and finally volunteered. The opposition can not seem to understand that the PM is a Conservative. They yap about Conservative ideology and ignore the fact that they have their own agenda. That is why I have comment moderation on, again. The lefties who come to my site are a prime example of brainwashed individuals who call me and my posters names because they have no facts to support their positions. I do not want this blog to be turned into a Rabble site, one of those hate spewing sites is enough.

So, lefties, get lost. I gave you plenty of chances to respond to my posts with facts, and all I get is spewing:

Except he didn't cut them off himself. He was being trained to do so though. Like any soldier is trained to kill and frighten their enemy. If this makes him so bad, what is learning to kill doing to our own troops? Do you believe Canadian troops should also be barred from returning to Canada since they have learned to kill in wars?

This guy probably doesn't even realize that he is comparing our military to terrorists, or maybe he does because he thinks it's "cool".

What I feel is a sense of freedom, I can finally stand up for Canada and declare my support for our Prime Minister, and if the lefties don't like it, so much the better, they are dinosaurs anyways,

So, I support my Prime Minster, Stephen Harper, and refuse to bow down to the lefties who hate anything Conservative. Do they sense what is bubbling just below the surface? Conservatism.

I seriously think that they have a mental illness that manifests itself in two ways.
1. They believe that reality is what should be, not what is.

2. They actively seek to destroy Canada for some twisted reason.

I am with you all the way.... I support my Prime Minister and the whole caucus. None of the opposition, in many years, has or will make me change my mind.

Way to go, Hunter. Terrific rant.

And I totally support you with the CM. It's your blog. You have the right to set the tone and decide who to allow at your site.

Excellent article. The Libs still cannot get over the fact that they are not the Government. But they still try to decide what is good for Canada. Will they ever learn that their kind of good is only good for Liberals and friends and not ordinary Canadians.Iggy is not going to solve anything for the Libs.Only a complete house cleaning will maybe solve their corrupt attitude.Brought down to earth like the Mulroney government and rebuild.Things should change when the Conservatives take over the senate.I think they will be in the majority by the end of the year. That is whats scaring the opposition.

Not only the Liberal Party, but the media as well.

I am a total Harper fan. I think he should start fighting back against the slurs, though, or at least have a front person to do this. I hate the way he gets falsely slagged all the time by liars and jerks.

Bravo, Hunter! I agree 100% I too support PM Harper and his all of his caucus. IMHO,they are about the only ones in the house that have any common sense and that is getting to a rare thing anymore.

We are on the "right side" of the issue - I Am Canadian and My Canada includes the Conservative Party and PMSH

Thank you Hunter, for saying this so eloquently.

I am tired of dealing with the hatred on the sites and I applaud you for making a stand.

I will never apologise to a lefty for respecting an honorable and decent man, The Prime Minister of Canada.
I never walked around saying the disgusting, slanderous things about Mr Chretien, that they do about PMSH.
Pure hatred and unjustified.
Good for YOU!

East of Eden..I 100% agree. i've sent my opinion to everyone I know including the PM. These lies may be irritating to us...but for people who don't really get into politics much, these lies represent the truth. This has to be snipped in the bud now before the opposition/coalition manipulate it to their advantage more than they have already. I wouldn't expect EVERY lie but at least a few of the really cynical ones.

Thank you for your thoughts on our Prime Minister, Hunter.

Believe me it is so refreshing to hear (read) that others out there are not being influenced by the daily anti-Stephen Harper rants by the majority of the media and of course the always noisy socialists.

However, these groups are not what concern me as much as it is the, how should I say, the radical or hard or ultra social conservatives that have become even more vitriolic in their demands for S. Harper to be replaced. I have noticed one particular Ontario-run forum whose owners and members are more spiteful than some of the left-wingers they contantly disparage.

With respect to hitting the 'mute' button in order to avoid the sheer arrogance(?) of these 'babblers' who barge in to every conservative blog - Good on you Hunter. If I were not a female attempting to practise what I preach about our Canadian 'virtues' such as tolerance? the air would be blue!

This constant whining from the very few far and radical right of
the CPC is, in my opinion, as damaging to our Prime Minister as anything the Laytons, Raes and Iggy's, etc., have to say.

caz and East,

You are right but I think there needs to be some civility by someone and that person and party, is the PM and the CpoC.

In those 2 hours that the PM met with the GG,this may have been discussed, who knows? Someone had to "give" and make the HoC function.
PMSH, is a person that has proven to be someone that can be the bigger person. (glad there are no trolls because I would hate to go and google his achievements)

I think that letting the POTUS come under a calm condition is much better than a chaotic MSM already under the spell.

When our PM does a public appearance, it is called a photo-op.
When the accidental tourist does one, it is called...not a photo-op.

I hate to break it to you Hunter but the Globe and Mail actually endorsed
Harper going into the election last fall.

What, you are to chicken to actually debate about your leader being a Socialist? Reality sucks doesn't it?

I mean come on, the guy just put Trudeau's spending spree and expansion of government to shame, because he was scared to face the voters as a bona fide Conservative.
