I read the whole press release and not one Liberal or NDP MP was mentioned, none were in any of the pictures. So, what are Canadian feminists doing to support and help Afghan women and girls, like the one blinded by acid because her face was uncovered on her way to school? Nothing it seems. They are too busy measuring Obama for a superman outfit:

It’s not surprising to see President Obama gracing the cover of a magazine, except perhaps in one case. The latest issue of Ms. magazine features an illustration of President Obama tearing open his dress shirt and tie to reveal a T-shirt reading “This is what a feminist looks like.” Obama is the first male to appear on the cover in over a decade. Critics have questioned the decision to put Obama on the cover, especially at so early a stage in his presidency.
What's up with lefties? They appear to have lost any direction, because they stand for nothing except gaining power. The coalition was a clear signal that Canada comes second to the lefty desire for power. Why are the feminist MP's so quiet on Afghanistan women? Where are the protests against acid throwing Taliban? What do lefties stand for these days?

Hunter - you are bang on re: the Afghan women. Why are the lefties not hollering about the subjugation of women in that country? The abuse, the murders, the literal enslavement. Oh, but a war resistor who, unlike resisters during the Viet Nam era, was NOT drafted. These resistors had a choice to sign up and they did. They are not resistors - they are people who signed up thinking that they would never see combat but when they did, turned tail.
I supported, back in the 1960s-70s, draft dodgers and resistors because of the draft. They had no choice but to join but today, it is voluntary. This whole lefty thing re: resistors is nothing but fluff. I say that women in Afghanistan are a lot more in need of help than a few resistors from the USA. So, lefties - put your money where your big yaps are located. Do something for the real victims - Afghan women, people in Zimbabwe, that kind of people.

If I had a photo taken with Obama and me, I would be showing it to all my friends and family.
Even thought the Liberals presented Ignatieff's photo in Times Square in New York, the real target market was the Canadian media. By using the Canadian media, he demomstrated that he has stature and is prime minister material.

Well, when the next poll comes out to show what we care about THEN they will have an opinion. They will say what we want to hear and then do whatever they want if they get in to power. The left cares about power, gettin git and keeping it. That's it.

SD, you might think iggy is up to the job but the losers he would have to get elected and be PM are not up to the job. Think about it. Most of them were adscam supporters. They stole billions, they passed laws taking away rights of cdns. They put farmers in jail for selling their own grain outside the cwb, and the list goes on. Iggy will not be a dictator, he would have to have at least 154 others there to help him ruin our country. And many of those 154 would belong to the coalition parties.

Because it is transparently obvious that the entire CPC and BT collectives are (ahem) displeased about "The Picture". Your post starts with the premise "what's up with the lefties", betraying your side's frothing rage over "The Picture". Then it segues to The Picture itself.
Continuing the transparency, you move right along to the BT response, which is to attack someone, you know, how Sarah Palin would not simply refute thing said about her, instead she would demand to know who said it, presumably so they could receive some re-education.
So the attack is on to get Kinsella out of there, since you need to return to the days of Dion who wouldn't fight you using your own tried and true methods.
Then we have the obligatory bashing of Liberals being terrorist supporters.
Finally, we have the Afghan delegation, and somehow the Liberals are evil because they are not mentioned. Well except for this:

However, you neglected to mention the environment which is not changing at all, the evil scientists and especially you forgot to mention Evil Suzuki and his lifestyle which somehow proves that climate change is a myth and a hoax. Please try to remember to mention these in the future.

A bit of research shows that the cost to put a photo on Times Square is nothing close to what they said it cost - but then you would have to count the money in the brown envelope under the table.
