Jane Taber, Call Your Makeup Artist!

If the Liberals can yap about PM Harper's looks, let me descend to their level. Jane Taber, those bags under your eyes are dragging your whole face down. Wow, I guess she was out partying last night! She looks like sh*t! Her interviewing abilities aren't any better.

She thinks Dodge having a different opinion from the Prime Minister is SHOCKING! Economists have been as accurate as global warming eco-nuts lately. They use modeling like the greenies, so you can all understand why no one is listening to them anymore. Dodge and Drummond are Liberal lackeys, and not to be taken seriously.

I'm thinking of closing my accounts with TD because Drummond is such an idiot that my money might be better deposited in a company that isn't politically motivated. I do not need my bankers to be telling me our economy is in the dumpster right now. It does not inspire confidence in that bank. Really, if the chief economist at the TD Canada Trust Bank thinks that Dodge is right and our economy is going to continue to tank, I'm taking my money out of that bank and putting it somewhere safe. Maybe Drummond should put his company first and forget about his secret Liberal agenda.

Funny that I could not get the video of PM Harper to play, I tried it at least 15 times, and it just would not load. This has happened before on CTV, a positive video of the PM will not load. What's with the picture of PM Harper looking defeated? Bias? Thy name is Jane Taber! So here's a picture of Jane looking really hung over. Not your best face Jane, or is that your real face!

Fair game, Liberals want to tick off 38% of the country, just remember that Conservatives have long memories (NEP) and do not take well to being herded!

Well obviously you saw the whole pitiful mess and I for one, could not believe, Jane. She has brought CTV journalism to a whole new low.

She doesn't even attempt to hide it and with her track record this week I would say she has had some help.
For the first time ever though, I was somewhat impressed by Mulcair.

If you can get the PM,the NFLD memorial off the cuff interview, was very nice.

Jane Taber is representative of my generation's women who believe that in order to make it in a man's world, they have to be as bitchy and mean-spirited as possible. Pardon me for saying that but I've spoken with a whole lot of the younger generation of women who say the same thing and refuse to work for other women. It's unfortunate that this mentality exists among my generation of women but Jane Taber is certainly not alone.

Jane Taber is one of the lowest life forms in journalism and that takes some doing given the bottom-feeder mentality and morality of the media these days.

But, you know, people like Jane Taber will get their comeuppance at some point. And, she looks like a haggard, used-up, old broad.

I refuse to watch any program Jane Tabor hosts, or even when she appears as a guest - I immediately turn the channel. She is so liberal bias - I honestly feel if CTV wants to use this liberal hack as a host - the sponsors should be notificed if they want to support a liberal party - then make a donation - but to have Jane twist and turn every guest for her liberal party is unfair. For her to state just because a liberal supporter Dodge made different predicitions on our economy that our PM is "shocking" - as if a liberal can not be wrong.... we have the present Bank of Canada saying something similar to our PM - but Dodge is a know liberal and the only one that is right. Jane made comments about our PM being "fat" in the past - well - she better look in the mirror at herself.... she sure is no beauty queen - and this stage of his liberal life - she better join her liberal camp because she has to be the most liberal bias reporter in Ottawa and we do not need her liberal bias everytime she appears on TV...

Since Jane Taber is nothing more than a gossip columnist, as far as I'm concerned, here's my gossip-column critique of her to add to yours:
• Jane, your hair looks like it's been cut with a hatchet. Time to find a better hair dresser.
• And those black roots!
• Gained a little weight, Jane? That beige jacket you wore on Monday looked at least two sizes too small.
• Your arm waving won't lift you off the ground. It didn't work for Paul Martin either.
• The word is "yes" not "yeah."

And as far as Dodge is concerned, once one leaves a post of prominence, one should have the good grace to shut up!
I can understand journalists seeking the POV of economists and other so-called experts ... there seem to be so many of them around now that the Conservatives are in power. Could there possibly be a connection? ... but retired ones should just go to the golf course and let their replacement do their job without interference.

Your argument against David Dodge's criticism of economist PM Harper's forecast, is A: Jane Taber has bags under her eyes and B: David Dodge is a Liberal lackey?

Hilarious.

You keep going on about a ticked off 38% of the country. That would be 38% of the just over 40% of Canadians who actually voted.

Hilarious, Huntsy. Work it, sister!

"You keep going on about a ticked off 38% of the country. That would be 38% of the just over 40% of Canadians who actually voted."

Hey is that like the 62% "majority" that the Coalition went on about -

So following your logic - 62% of 40% is no where near a majority.

And - if I am not mistaken I believe you are wrong on the percentage of Canadians who did vote - I believe it was 59%.

However, still following your logic - 62% of 59% does not a majority make.

Your numbers are a little off sweetheart. First of all, 38% Conservative support is pure fiction. Even Angus-Reid has you polling 3 points lower and they gave the rosiest poll numbers for you.

Why reference the NEP is this petty little blurb? You need to understand that two thirds of Canadians live in Ontario and Quebec and have never even heard of it. Your tiny sphere of influence is rapidly decaying.

Alberta and her dirty oil are yesterday's news.

Anonymous said...

Yes, you are right about the turn out, according to wikipedia - 59.1% voted. The point is there is a great unwashed portion of the electorate no one really has any idea how they would vote - or to what extent they are ticked off.

ABG, what is the greater number, 38 or 62?
No wonder you can't follow Dodge.

Anonymous said...

So anyway - I'm quite interested to hear arguments against Dodge's assertions leaving Taber's appearance and Dodge's apparent "Liberality" aside.

Anonymous said...

BTW, Huntsy's stated desire to take her money out of TD and Gabby's suggestion that Dodge should stay on the golf course - don't cut it as arguments.

Great parody Hunter and not one of your libby-dippy trolly's got it. So sad that they can't think, reason, or spew garbage in any discernible way.

Jane Taber is a Liberal who has fallen off her stool at Hy's once too often.

Alberta's dirty oil might be yesterdays news to some, but it is a huge reason there are no jobs today for thousands from ont, nfld and que. It will also be the reason that the equalization payments will be so much less for their social programs.
And the NEP is not dead in AB, and we will not forget, or allow the martian to put his new method of theft into practice.
Why was iggy/layton not in NFLD yesterday, could it be that it was a very moving religious service and therefore means there is a GOD.
Has anyone ever seen iggy in a church of any faith for whatever reason.
Everytime the PM does something it is spun that it is applicable to all conservatives. So, are we to assume that no liberals believe in God, or go to church.

Yep - try to turn YOUR arguement about 38% of 40% into something else.

You totally missed the point of my comment - try to keep up here.

I believe I conceded that you were correct, if somewhat beside the point ABG.

Re Jane Tabloid's bags....Preparation H honey,
a little dab will do yah!
That's what models use to suck up those revealing hideous tell tale sacks.

Re David Dodge...this was the guy who presided over Canada when we were about to be listed as a 3rd world economy!!!
wow, yah, we need more David Dodge like Iffy's hole in the head!
He's calling for a raise in the GST and long term structural deficits....Liberal tax and spend, Dodge is soooo 90's.

Re Alberta and yesterday's news.
How many federal seats are up for grabs in Quebec...26 last count, the Bloc owns and will NOT let go of more than 30.
How many federal seats are up for grabs in Western Canada...93 last count, and Liberals have 7 of them (ooooh 8% hahahaha.
Western Canada is about 10 seats shy of equalling Ontario in clout...yesterday's news?
I laugh in your Liberal faces.
The LPC is yesterday's new.

Anonymous said...

Wilson, that is your computer screen you're laughing at.David Dodge is not the only critic of the GST cut is he?

Martin said...

Hey Wilson, don't be dense. The cons can't grow in the west. They need to grow in Ontario because they have lost Quebec.

Every single poll out there shows Ontario shifting back to the LPC under Iggy.

You can laugh all you want but time is on our side.

wilson said...

Jane Tabloid doesn't cover just how pathetic the LPC has become.
Iffy refused to contribute to Canada's recovery,
now Iffy refuses to set out policy...why? because Iffy wants PMSH to 'wear the recession' and He doesn't want PMSH to steal any ideas from Him (btw those secret policies are so secret even Iffy doesn't know exactly what they are)..LOL.

The LPC doesn't have a click nor clue what to do, period.

Finch quite LPC:
"I have come to the conclusion that partisanship is an inclusive, destructive force," Finch said in the email,
"and the party's perception that the average person is too stupid and too undeserving to understand what (the Liberal Party) is really doing, has pushed my patience to the limit."

No, McCallum and Iffy too!
Whoopee!!!
Maybe Iffy can write us a book about it,
after He changes his mind on it, like Iraq, support of Bush, torture , Israel war crimes, a national regulator, the Green Shift, and the Coalition of Losers...

Hey Martin, Iffy's numbers still aren't up to where Dion's were 100 day's in...
we're in a freaking economic crisis and the LPC is still sucking 4 points behind the government!
Get real! The CPC hasn't laid a glove on Iffy YET!
The ONLY time Liberals drag out Barney, anti-Gay and guntotting knuckle draggers is,
when libs and their ever Luvin media are scared the Cons are heading for a majority!!!!!

Wilson - I've heard of that old Prep H trick but I've never known anybody who tried it. I can't imagine that it's too good for the old eyes. I can't imagine putting that stuff around my eyes - argh. Besides, I wonder if it's only an urban legend.

There was something in 1978 that swept Calgary by storm when I worked at the Bay in that city - Line Tamer. The Bay could not keep it in stock - women were lining up to buy it. I have no idea what was in it but I don't think it stayed on the market for too long.

All those beauty products, I think, are an illusion or delusion. Note that the ads always say that the product reduces the APPEARANCE of wrinkles. No product can reduce wrinkles but it can reduce the APPEARANCE of wrinkles.

I would recommend a very thin film of Preparation H for the recuction of bags under the eyes.
There is an over the counter topical medication made by PERRICONE and sold in Nordstroms. The topical medication helps tighten the muscles and thus reducing the "bags". The Perricone product is very good. ''

wilson said...

Show me mystereeoso,
show me where Page criticized the GST cuts.
Not some LibLuvin media saying it, a quote from Page.

Page did NOT criticize tax cuts, he stated they accounted for PART of the deficit.
Page has been used by the Liberals as a weapon, by selectively taking his statements and twisting them into an attack.

BTW, a cut to the GST is the ONLY tax reduction low income families can enjoy...they don't pay income taxes.

Anonymous said...

Wilson, how are they going to enjoy their GST break if they are without jobs?

Also, what do you think criticize means?

Anonymous said...

Why wouldn't the Liberals use Page's analysis as a weapon against the Conservatives?

Page found a legitimate flaw in the math.

But more importantly why don't the Conservatives make use of the analysis too? Isn't that why they created his position? Why don't they say, yeah we lost revenues because of our economic policy? We need to fix that.

Why doesn't Harper give his team a stack of paper cups and tell them to go beg it back from the people.

Anonymous said...

Thanks, Wilson. I always thought it was an urban legend. But, still, the thought of putting it near my eyes kind of scares me.

Bec said...

It does work East although I am with you, be careful.

Say for example, those long nights during a family reunion. I tried it then and voila. I also had a very bad fall recently and got a bad gash above and through my eyebrow. It really helped the swelling and healing.

Re tax cuts. Don't forget that tax revenues from the oil and gas sector dropped substantially. That has played into the drop in govt revenues, massively.

Anonymous said...

Bec, are you okay? I hope you didn't break anything or do any permanent damage.

As for Prep H - I think my bags give my face character. I think if I were to do anything, I'd go the cucumber route - at least cucumbers smell good and if your face is clean, you could even eat the slices afterward - kind of a dual-purpose snack. LOL.

I think Jane looks great, and would absolutely love for you to post a picture of yourself (preferably under hot studio lights. Stop criticizing her looks as a vehicle through which to express your general disagreement with her and get yourself some real opinions. Moreover, I don't see Craig looking like a super-model ... perhaps you're one of those miserable, self-hating women who turn on others' appearances to mask their insecurities surrounding their own intellect and physical appearance. get. a. life. and stop pretending that this catty nonsense is a 'political' blog.
postscript... how old are you? your attempts at coming off 'fresh' are contrived and pathetic and I hope the youth Canada sneer at the ridiculous, petty and downright mean nature of your criticisms.

Re West Coast Teddi's "Jane Taber is a Liberal who has fallen off her stool at Hy's once too often".
