From Alberta With Love!

I want to take this opportunity to thank Ontario. You could have gone the way of Quebec, and voted for the NDP. You could have continued to vote for the Liberal party, like PEI and Newfoundland, but you came out in record numbers to support Prime Minister Harper and the Conservatives. Thank you. You saved our country.

You have become a "have not" province under the rule of McGuinty, yet you refuse to give up. You could have taken the easy route and voted NDP for all the "goodies" they offered, you refused. You showed all of Canada that the pioneer spirit still beats strong in your hearts. You showed Canada that you might be a "have not" province right now, but you are not willing to continue down that path.

I want you to know that Alberta has your back. Finally, provinces are not being divided for political reasons. You have supported Canada for most of our existence with equalization payments, and now that you need them, look west, we are with you. Together the east and the west can make Canada spectacular! Our independent spirits are alive and we are now joined instead of alienated.

We are not different, like the politicians and media want us to believe. You saw through the hype and joined with us to go forward instead of back. Without you, we would have had PM Layton. Thank you Ontario. God has blessed Canada.

Ontario got a bad rep when the right wing vote was split. We not only elected Mike Harris, we re-elected him. The Rob Ford revolution was real. I liked how after Ford won the left was flailing around trying to say that it was bad news for Stephen Harper. Yeah right.

Scoreboard. Duh, winning.

I am 31 years old. How many majorities have the Liberals won in Canada with a united right. One, Pierre Trudeau cleaning up the mess that was Joe Clark. That's it. Unite the right, and the Liberals can't win, especially in Ontario.

Don't let the Liberal media in Toronto fool you about how Liberal Ontario is. There are more Conservatives in Ontario than in any other province (even if not as a % of total population).

You're welcome. Ridings that fall to the Liberals and the NDP are the fault of meddling by either Ottawa or an elected Conservative MP from a neighbouring riding.
Here in Windsor one candidate was put in place by a standing elected MP, she had zero qualifications and was dumber than a sack of hammers, it was her third attempt and hopefully her last.
The other candidate was a very smart woman but who failed to lift her profile since the last election remained a dark horse.
The incumbent is arrogant, really arrogant, is really really arrogant is a real rectal orifice. He places his people in the surrounding ridings both federal and provincials to raid the donators list leaving the other ridings broke.Did I mention he is arrogant in case you didn't catch it?
With a lot more work we might be able to send a conservative to Ottawa.

A wonderful, gracious tribute, Hunter. Thanks for saying what millions of us are feeling.

I must admit too, I have a bit of a 'crush' on Trawna (T.O.).
In a big way, they stepped up and I have a big glow for the sensibility of those that did!

Now if we can just persuade Torontonians to figure out time zones before deciding the best time to contact their Western counterparts is first thing in the morning, all will be well.

Very nice, Hunter!

I retweeted this one recently via Ray Heard 0n May 5:

"Best line of election: The West now begins at the Ottawa River -- Andrew Coyne."

You're very welcome, Hunter. I was finally able to be proud of my province. Now, if we can get rid of Dalton this fall and vote in the PCs, I'll be a very happy camper. We would have a Conservative government in our province if not for the former leader who basically handed the province to Dalton.
