It's been a long time since QP happened, but it appears as if it's the same old junk from the opposition parties. Here is the abridged version of question period, from my point of view. If you don't like it, make your own video.
Welcome to the MP newbies!
As I watched QP I realized that the players are mainly the same, especially for the bloq. What is different is that Conservative MP's and Ministers are feistier. They are not taking the lefty garbage. James Moore slammed the bloqhead into the ground. I was reminded of the "whack a mole" game, that's what the Conservatives were doing to the opposition. One would stand up, spout and the Minister would whack'em. I hope it continues, the Conservatives are finally taking charge, standing up and firing at the opposition parties.
They continued to invite the opposition to present their ideas to help the economy, and the opposition repeatedly failed to do so. They're back and just as dysfunctional as ever.
At least my MP, James Rajotte comported himself as usual; calm, directed and non-confrontational, heck even Liberal MP Shawn Murphy (Hang'em High) from PEI likes him. (Is that a good thing?)

did you ever watch harper in opposition? didn't think so.
it is very telling that you file this post under the heading of " useless opposition ". you dismiss all opposition MP's as lefty garbage yet they represent the majority of canadians.
in truth, you're not at all interested in debate or discusssion.in fact, you're not capable of it.
you often accuse the so-called lefties of elitism. it seems to me that your attitude reflects the close-minded conservative bobsnottery we've come to expect from climbing out of the dark.
oh well. in the end, it doesn't matter much. the shallow observations of an intolerant and ill-informed playtime pundit won't save the CPoC from it's fate.
what fate you ask? simple really. 10 or 11 months of explaining to canadians how they f*cked it up so badly so quickly followed by a fall election and a handy defeat at the hands of an energized and effective liberal party led by a new leader.

Jeff - it seems like your comment is one of deja vue - you were saying EXACTLY the same thing just before the LAST liberal leadership convention....just look how that worked out!
incumbent parties always do well in elections during a recession, especially when much of the blame can be traced to their poor decisions.

Without money, the Liberals are dead in the water.They could not fight an election even if every anti-Conservative fibre in their being was screaming to do so...!
jeff seems to be ignoring the kudos PMSH is getting from world leaders for pre-emptively reducing taxes in 2007, tightening lending practices and campaigning on NOT spending the cupboard bare with vote buying social programs.
At the G20 meeting, ONLY PMSHs 3 submissions were approved by all attending, and have become the blueprint to move the global economy forward.
While PMSH is explaining to Canadians, the impact of a global recession to them,
he is also, like this weekend,
meeting with world leaders, and doing very very well.
And while PMSH is debating with world leaders, Liberals debate amongst themselves on charging 0-$10 for a membership in their party.
It boils down to Liberals sitting on the sidelines (as usual) waiting for PMSH to fail.....it ain't gonna happen jeff.
Libs were all b*!ch and moan last parliament, and choose to do more of the same this session, expect the same results in the next election.
Jeff: You've wandered into an Alice in Wonderland Blog. The way it works here is: Hunter posts something while screaming "lefty, elitist, latte drinking and dysfuntional." Then EofE and Alberta Girl post something to the effect, "Wow, you are so right Hunter, like totally." If you post something to prove they are wrong they either start attacking you personally (like EofE did to me last week) or completely ignore you. They will not debate as issue.
I will say, though, that when MaryT turns up, you really fall into the rabbit hole. For some reason, I imagine she sounds like Sawah Palin. :)

These sites do not mind healthy debate and like I said, wasn't here... but why are you still here if it isn't your intention to antagonize? You do not like these people...We get it...

Seriously, I agree with you, Bec. People like SQ and the ever-annoying Gayle are addicted to Conservative blogs. I take the occasional tour of some Lib blogs but don't often comment. They're entitled to their views just as we are entitled to ours. However, I won't comment unless the discussion underway resembles something intelligent and honest. Like I say, I rarely comment on Lib blogs.

Oh, SQ - you are sooooo funny - I was challenging Jeff on his comment which seems to ring a bell as being the same comment he was making just before the previous leadership contest.
Do you really expect that when you come to a right wing supporters blog that you are going to find everyone posting comments against him/her. I guess that means that you don't post agreeable comments on left supporting blogs???
